Swan Lake: what inspires your creative work?

Ok I rambled a bit here oops. The short answer is that it's typically emotions or inspiration from personal experiences. Sometimes it's just random thoughts about "oh man, what if this thing happened?" The long answer is: Mostly it's just having strong emotional responses to thing.! Maybe this sounds a little cheesy, but I get caught in game romances a lot. I got attached to my Dragon Age OC, Mihri, when I started getting invested in Cullen’s romance on my first actual playthrough of DAI. For Destiny, I hadn’t really started developing an OC at all until I played Season of the Haunted and did Crow’s Severance. Aside from those specific things, I've been working on a little art project on the side that was inspired by spending time with a friend and feeling so warm and happy afterwards. I also tend to pull a lot from personal experience, even if I end up taking it in a different direction. I have a post here talking about some random info on why Mae canonically wears stompies. TL;DR, it’s a mostly psychosomatic ankle injury that occurs during Beyond Light and plagues her up until WQ or so. I started developing this idea a bit ago when my own ankle injuries flared up. Even little things like going outside late at night and looking at the stars make me want to write little drabbles.

Pink lip gloss: what makes you feel confident?

Oooo this is a hard one. Honestly? I’m still trying to find my confidence. Knowledge is the simplest, and probably most common? I feel confident most at work because I’ve been in my job for a few years now and am the most knowledgeable/senior member of my team. Outside of that, I'm not sure I have a good answer for this one. But I will :) I'm working on it! 💖
