poll bc I gotta fuckin know and I do not mean this in a rude way at all so please don't get offended but Please I Gotta Know...

Just checking.... We all pronounce Miette like My-TAY in our heads, right?

* Adding a note because I FEEL yall's frustration. I feel similar to the way you feel when someone uses the word "casted" instead of "cast" when someone is cast in a show, for example... So... I PROMISE I never said it aloud. It is indeed "Meyet" said in almost one syllable, with a French roll of the tongue in the middle. TODAY I LEARNED. It means Crumb.

#miette #probably no one will see this but I gotta know because I was reading a pic recently n one of the characters was called Galois and I #(european) knew it was pronounced Gal-wah whereas it took the author another few chapters before they added a note at the bottom saying the #had only just found out the correct pronunciation and had formerly been saying 'Gal-low-issss'#Might be smthn to do with French being a broadly spoken language so we just know how to pronounce French words whereas in America you all #learn Spanish because of South America so it's highly likely that there are Spanish words you would automatically understand how to say #despite never having come across them before. Idk! Just an interesting little thing I've noticed
