       ❝ that’s easier said than done , vi . ❞  she doesn’t mean to sound so despondent , but the low frustrated sigh that follows her statement doesn’t help much . sky blue eyes remain obscured by the glare of her laptop’s screen - which she’s hardly looked up from since he arrived . commitments are piling up , the shop is already behind on orders , next month’s menu is yet to be completed , and she’s catering a H U G E wedding over the weekend - which means no rest for hope at all . ( the bride just had to have handcrafted gumpaste peonies . . . ugh . her hands are already cramping just thinking about it . ) dark hair flops forwards as she bows , cradling her head in her hands . a migraine approaches like the first raindrop of an oncoming storm - a direct result of too much caffeine and not enough food or sleep . she is a hot mess of stress , and she can’t help but feel like it’s all her own fault . 

       ❝ -- especially when this disaster of a week is all my doing . look at this schedule . ❞ she turns the screen to show him the jumbled mess that is her google calendar . . . it’s not pretty .  ❝ what the hell was i thinking ? ? ? ❞
