🐀 "You're a sharp one, aren't you? What tipped you off that I was staking this place out?" Jane didn't have any specific beef with people who walked the straight and narrow. By nature her work contributed to the good of New Eridu City, but she also worked in the shadows. She would, and always had, done shadier things to help maintain the peace.

None of which mattered in this city, but she had noticed something odd. Strange behaviour from some men who had been hiding in the house across the street from where she was loitering. Unfortunately, this man had called her on what she was doing. Whether it was out of concern or caution she wasn't sure.

"I'm not up to anything, if that's what you're thinking! Do I have the kind of face that looks like it would lie~?" It wasn't worth telling him until she knew what he wanted. Jane didn't want him ratting her out... so to speak.
