I just KNOW G&E had quiet mornings on the water in the mountains with sweet little kisses and long talks about what they’ve accomplished and what they’ve done I just— I am so soft for these two and the love they have
You are so right anon and I’m literally so obsessed with how in love they are as well, like it’s crazy how easy it was for them to find their literal soulmate 😭
Here’s a lil somethin for this wonderful ask! 🥰💕
Grayson can’t sleep. It’s not for a bad reason. Nothing is weighing on his soul that was particularly very heavy, he’s not being tormented by anything. He’s savoring. He can’t really do that while he’s asleep.
It’s day four of their spontaneous road trip and everyday feels better than the last. They managed to bag the cutest cabin ever, which was so cozy and warm, Grayson found he had a hard time making himself leave for the day. It’s only a mile from the river so it’s easy to bike, or walk even.
Grayson is especially excited about today because Kyle isn’t with them. He had left late the night before and Grayson hadn’t been able to quell his excitement for the day to come, where he could just spend it with his brother. So, he’d settled for going through the motions, getting ready for bed and slotting himself easily in Ethan’s arms, the younger twin always content with being the little spoon. They’d gone to bed pretty late anyway, but Grayson had spent the night dozing for a little while at a time, and then waking up to a warmth behind him and the galaxy showing through the window above. He was content, watching the stars unmoving and making himself aware of everywhere he could feel Ethan, wanting more, always wanting more.
They’re slow to rise and Grayson can already feel his natural instincts to go out and explore bugging him. He could barely get through his toast before he stood to pack their bag. Today, they were planning on heading down to the river and swimming for a while, soak the sun in and just be. That’s something they hadn’t been able to do in so long, and definitely not with the constant bustle and urgency to create in LA.
Here, it was different. You had no obligations. The land waited for you and opened itself up for you, you swam in its lakes and rivers and hiked its mountains and there was a sense of gratefulness for being able to experience it, to be alive and to feel the sun burning your face and the harshness of the cool water on your skin. Here, Grayson could hop into Ethan’s arms and not care how weird it looked. Here, he could kiss Ethan silly and have him kiss back, have his hands roam all over him and touch the places on him that needed it most. It was silent, forgiving, it gave and they took, but they gave too, in a sense. They attached memories to creeks and built fires in clearings and fucked under the stars like teenagers, which they technically still were, but would dispute. It was a sort of natural, clandestine give and take that Grayson felt him and Ethan were meant for. He loved being busy and loved having things to do, of course. But, if he could just spend his days with Ethan, discovering new places in the woods and bathing in the waterfalls they found along the way, he’d take it in a heartbeat.
The two walked hand in hand this time, with their bags slung over their shoulders, light conversation exchanged between the two. They left their phones in the cabin this time, wanting to give their utmost attention to each other and to the nature they’d be experiencing. The walk felt shorter than it had with Kyle, the sound of rushing water made Grayson’s skin prickle with excitement. As soon as they arrived at one of the river banks, Ethan turned and kissed him on the cheek, the biggest smile spread across his sharp features.
Grayson had busied himself with getting their set up ready; two towels, water, fruit and crackers, the basics. He had just happened to be looking over at Ethan as he saw his twin push his trunks down and step out of them, before walking waist-deep into the river. Quite the feat considering how cold it usually was. Once Grayson was finished, he walked right up to where Ethan’s trunks laid, repeating the same process and walking into the river completely naked.
Ethan had already dunked himself in, water droplets dripping down his toned chest and making it hard for Grayson to focus on his footing. Instead though, he decided holding on to Ethan would be the best bet, his arms easily wrapping around his brother’s waist and standing in his space, leaning up to kiss him slowly.
“Thought we’d save the skinny dipping for later tonight?” Grayson asked, smile wide on his face. “Just couldn’t wait to get me naked, huh?” He teased and kissed him again, letting his head rest against his chest.
Ethan’s hands, almost at their own volition, snaked up to cup Grayson’s cheeks, staring down at the beautiful, familiar face he’d fallen in love with so many times before. “Is that all you think about?” He asked playfully, pressing another kiss to his lips. “Can’t I just enjoy nature in my most natural state?” He laughed.
Grayson chuckled too, shaking his head fondly. He wasn’t sure how he could ever go back to their normal life after experiencing such intense harmony here.
Later on, they lay back on their towels and rest for a while, in comfortable silence, letting the sun soak into their skin and the breeze rush over them. Their fingers are intertwined and they’re so content, with each other and their place in the world. It’s amazing how good they have it.
They walk back to their cabin lazily, tired from swimming all day but happy to be together. Grayson makes dinner and Ethan eats it gratefully, and Grayson watches him with the fondest look on his face.
It gets so cold at night out here and they’re grateful Kyle is gone so they can share their warmth for the night, with no sneaking around or worrying about getting caught.
Except, Grayson is burning, sweating, he’s out of breath and he feels like he’s being split in two. He feels so dizzy, but his hips seem to move by themselves, gyrating on top of Ethan in circles and languid figure-eights. His hands are both on Ethan’s chest so he can keep himself up, letting small yelps with every thrust that Ethan gives against him. It’s dark, they have the lights off in favor of letting the dim light from the stars flood into the room.
Grayson can barely make out Ethan’s face, so he reaches up to feel his features, his thumb running over his brother’s plump bottom lip, trailing along his cheek bone and cupping it warmly, leaning down to kiss him hard. He moans into Ethan’s mouth uncontrollably, because his big brother is particularly amazing at finding that sweet spot inside of him and milking it for all it was worth. Grayson could cry at how amazing he felt, overwhelmed by all the stimulation on his senses.
Ethan holds his hips bruisingly, like he’d get away if he didn’t. He’s a little less elegant about these things. He’s clumsy as he gets closer and closer to his orgasm, kisses him with a sloppy tongue and nips Grayson’s lip and the skin on his jaw, thrusts a little too hard and neglects the dick in between them, slapping against his stomach and looking desperate to be touched.
Ethan sat up when he felt the first tear, sliding warmly down his chest. He’s worried at first, but he knows how Grayson gets. He can feel as Grayson wraps his arms tight around his neck and cries quietly into his ear, all while rutting against him like his life depended on it.
“S-Sorry, I’m sorry,” Grayson whimpers. Ethan holds him closer, kissing the side of his face as he continues to speak. “Feels so good. Love it, love how you fill me up, E.” He said shakily.
Ethan knows he can’t do much but be there, fuck Grayson until he comes so hard he sees stars, whisper sweet nothings into his ear and assure him it was okay.
“You’re so pretty when you cry, baby boy.” Ethan says lowly, eyes closed as he savored the deft movement of Grayson’s hips. “Love it when you do.” Ethan admitted with a soft smile on his face. “Means I’m doing something right, doesn’t it?” He purrs and pulls away just a little bit, so he could punctuate the sentence with a kiss.
Grayson’s lashes are wet, gratefully so, and the tear streaks on his cheeks show no sign of drying soon. “God, I love you.” He breathed. He’d said it so many times and it never failed to make the heat in his tummy flare up pleasantly.
“I know you do.”
Grayson comes a few moments later, thighs shaking and head thrown back as he rode through his orgasm, letting out a string of Ethan’s and I love you’s along with it. He makes a mess between them but Ethan doesn’t mind, he lives for how much of a slut Grayson can be about getting fucked by him. The boy lives for it, made to fit against Ethan perfectly.
Ethan fills him to the brim. Grayson slumps against him and tries to catch his breath. No matter how many times they toe the line of acceptability or how many boundaries they push and break down, it always feels the same. It feels like they’re complete.
Neither of them can sleep afterwards, so Grayson slips on a pair of joggers and grabs the duvet from the bed in one hand, and holds Ethan’s hand tight with the other. He lead him out to the back porch and walked him all the way to the edge of the yard where they have a clear view of the mountains and the horizon. It’s still dark so he’s careful as he leads him through some trees. There’s a log perfectly placed where they need it, and they sit down on it while Grayson wraps the blanket around both of them. He wrapped his arms around Ethan’s waist as well and rested his head on his shoulder, relishing in the familiar warmth radiating off of him.
They watch for a while, listen to the sounds of crickets turn into the chirping of birds. They watch the forest turn orange and yellow, quite a change from the dark, somber blue it was just a few minutes ago. It’s silent between them and nothing needs to be said. It’s all serene, it’s quiet, it’s perfect.
Grayson speaks anyway. Itches to say something.
“This is everything I’ve ever wanted.” Grayson starts softly, still crowded against his brother. “You, spending all my time with you. Doing what we do. Making people happy.” He sighs. He isn’t going to get emotional again, doesn’t make a habit of it unless he’s got Ethan balls deep inside of him.
“Yeah.” Ethan agreed easily. “It’s incredible.” He murmured, honestly. “Never thought I’d get to spend my days with you like this.” It was a struggle to get here, to the point where they were comfortable enough to kiss and touch. It was worth every struggle they had. It was worth the hiding.
“Love you, E. I’d do anything for you, I hope you know that.” Grayson whispered, moving to nuzzle his face into Ethan’s neck.
Ethan couldn’t help the wide smile that spread across his face, or the butterflies that made a mess of his tummy. “I love you.” He murmured. “And I’d give anything to be able to love you like this forever.” He said softly, turning to kiss the top of Grayson’s head.
They had it good. That they couldn’t deny.

54. Why’s there a pregnancy test in the trash?
Not related; both in their mid 30’s
—————
Ethan looked up from his laptop at Grayson, looking at his husband over the rim of his glasses. He makes sure not to smile or to show any positive emotion at all. He’d ruin it, if he did. He couldn’t give in so soon. Ethan’s eyes flicker to the positive pregnancy test in Grayson’s hand, obviously making an effort not to touch the part that might’ve had pee in it.
“How strange. I’m not sure, if I’m honest.” Ethan lied easily, shrugging a bit and returning his gaze back to his computer. “Was it there a few hours ago?” He asked, just to keep Grayson talking.
Grayson narrowed his eyes at Ethan and frowned. A lot of things were going through his head at the moment, and he really couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that he’d found a pregnancy test in his own bathroom. They had a couple girl-friends and out of all of them, Emma was the only one who came around much. Still, it didn’t make sense. She was careful with that stuff, Grayson really wouldn’t expect her to have a scare. Even more suspicious, Ethan seemed to know nothing about it. That made Grayson default to the worst, but he kept calm for the time being.
“No. I don’t think so.” Grayson huffed, already frustrated with Ethan’s lack of interest in this. “Ethan, don’t fuck with me.” He warned, raising a brow at his other half.
“Fuck with you? What do you mean? You think I put it there?” Ethan said. His tone feigned hurt. He was bad at lying, especially to Grayson, but he was trying his best. “What business do I have with a pregnancy test, Grayson?”
It was almost condescending. Grayson went to cross his arms over his chest, not before setting the test down on the coffee table in front of him, though. “Do you really expect me to believe that you don’t have something to do with that?” Grayson said after a moment of silence.
“No.” Ethan finally spoke again, looking up at Grayson once more, this time, with a smile that looked like it would crack his face in half. “I do expect you to jump to the worst conclusions, though. Like you always do, baby.” He chuckled, genuine and deep.
Grayson frowned again, but this time, it was accompanied by a small blush. He really had no fucking clue what Ethan was getting at. “Okay. That doesn’t answer my question. Why is there a pregnancy test in our bathroom?”
Ethan sighed, closing his laptop and setting it to his side, giving his full attention to Grayson. “I don’t know. Maybe Jen might know.” He said and leaned back against the couch, too nonchalant for Grayson’s liking.
Grayson’s face immediately softened. “J-Jen?” He asked, for clarification. When Ethan nodded, Grayson was in obvious shock.
About a year before, him and Ethan had been looking into adding kids to their little family. They’d ultimately settled on getting a surrogate to fulfill their dream of being dads. It didn’t come without difficulties, sadly. It was always something, there was always missing paperwork or a failed fertilization, always something. They had decided to give it a break for the time being, to give their surrogate some well deserved rest from the stressful process and also give them time to heal mentally from how hard it had all been. Grayson had nearly forgotten about Jen, after a whole year, almost able to push all that out of his memory. Now that Ethan was mentioning her, though... that must’ve meant something good, right? That must’ve meant something amazing happened.
“She actually called me recently. Told me some good news. Would you like to guess what it might be?” Ethan asked with a smile, leaning forward slightly.
“Oh my god, E. Are you serious?” Grayson said shakily, feeling tears starting to flood his eyes. “H-How? How did it happen? We haven’t even talked to the agency in over a year.” Grayson couldn’t even describe the floaty, elated feeling that was rushing through him at the moment. He couldn’t understand how Ethan pulled this off.
“Actually, they called me a few months ago and told me our request finally came through for another try. I told them to go ahead. And, it took.” Ethan explained softly. “She’s 4 months along.” Ethan informed.
Grayson couldn’t help his tears then, already streaming down his face without restraint. “I can’t believe it!” He said, with a watery chuckle, going to attack Ethan on the couch with a tight hug. “I thought you were cheating on me or something, you dick,” Grayson huffed and tried his best to wipe his tears away.
Ethan chuckled and held his husband close, squeezing him tight. “Sorry,” He hummed. “I couldn’t think of a better way to break it to you.” He laughed. “And you have no idea hard it’s been to keep quiet about this. I’ve almost told you about it, like, 10 times.” He sighed.
Grayson looked up at Ethan with a fond smile, finally having gotten a hold of himself as he leaned up to kiss his cheek. “I can’t believe we’re going to be dads, E.” He said softly and reached up to cup Ethan’s face, kissing him slowly. “You’re going to be the best dad, I already know it.” He said firmly.
“Don’t get all soft on me, Gray, or I might just start crying too.” Ethan groaned playfully, receiving another attack of kisses to the side of his face. “I’ll cry when our little Jimson is here.” He joked, laughing when Grayson punched his arm.
“For the last time, we are not naming our child Jimson.” Grayson huffed.

A fluffy afternoon breakfast because Ethan slept very late into the day. Possibly with some dom Gray pulling Ethan out of bed and carrying his sleepy ass to the kitchen (have you seen how easily G can pick up E?! Like... OkAy I SeE yOU!!)
👀 oh I see you…. Shoutout to Grayson for being the swole hunky man of Ethan’s dreams
Grayson is in the living room, sat on the couch mindlessly watching some nature documentary about penguins, or something, he can’t exactly concentrate on the subject of the program anyway. He’s bouncing his leg rhythmically to try and distract him from the fact that he’s alone, still, and it’s getting late and he’s never been this bored out of his mind before.
Ethan’s sleeping soundly in his room and Grayson, like the good, extraordinary, phenomenal brother and lover he is, was waiting patiently for him to wake up, even going as far as making some of Ethan’s favorites for breakfast for when he woke up.
Except, he’s not being very patient. Grayson can literally feel the minutes turn themselves into anger and frustration as they pass. On top of that, he’s fuckin’ hungry, since he decided he’d wait for Ethan to wake up to eat with him. Bad idea, he realized. Grayson almost tore one of the couch cushions in half as he stood and stomped his way towards his twin’s room.
“E,” Grayson starts of loudly, his voice booming around the room for a second. Nothing. No movement, no change of breathing. Ethan is really out. “Ethan.” He says a little louder, standing at the foot of his bed now. “Dude, come on, I let you sleep in all fucking day.” Grayson huffs out. Ethan stirs, but it leaves Grayson feeling even more hopeless, because all he does is turn over and hum softly. Grayson audibly groans and goes to Ethan’s side of the bed to rip the blankets off of him. “Wake the fuck up, bro, before I deck you in the face.” Grayson snorts, absolutely serious about the threat.
Ethan lets out a groan of his own and grabs the air randomly to try and find his blanket again, letting one eye slip open to look up at Grayson. It doesn’t register with him exactly how upset he is, so he just closes his eyes again and turns his head the other way, deciding he’d just deal with being cold.
Grayson’s eyes are wide in disbelief. The fact that his brother had the audacity to be so rude and inconsiderate to him, of all people, was unfathomable. Before Ethan could do or say anything that made Grayson punch a wall, the younger twin leaned down to grab both of Ethan’s thighs firmly, pulling him down the bed. Grayson ignores Ethan’s whines as he adjusts his grip and easily lifts him out of bed.
Ethan gasps and his hands fly to grip at Grayson’s shoulders, still very groggy. “Fuck- Gray, what the fuck are you doing?” Ethan asks, still in shock that Grayson lifted him up like it was nothing and that he was being woken up at all, especially on a Saturday. “Dude, let me go back to beeeed,” Ethan whined, slumping forward into Grayson’s arms and huffing, a bit frustrated with him.
“Why are you such an asshole?” Grayson responded with a huff, finally stepping into the kitchen and setting him down on the counter. “You can’t just sleep until two in the afternoon, E. I would literally rather go jump off a cliff without a parachute than have to sit and wait for hours for your dumb ass to wake up.” He said sternly, stood between Ethan’s knees, his hands gently holding his brother’s waist.
Ethan, as tired as he was, felt extra horrible as he listened to Grayson rant about his sleeping habits, nodding after Grayson finished speaking. “Sorry.” He grumbled, letting his hands slide down Grayson’s toned chest a bit. “I know I suck,” he sighed. It took Ethan another moment to look past Grayson’s shoulder, at the food that was sitting on the stove, still in their respective pans, recently cooked. “Oh, God, you cooked for me too?” Ethan whined. “Why are you so nice to me, huh? Don’t I treat you like shit?” Ethan asked playfully, finally going to loosely wrap his arms around Grayson’s neck.
“You’re alright. Mostly.” Grayson’s lips quirked up into a soft smile. “You’re lucky I love you, though. I don’t think anyone else is stupid enough to make such a nice breakfast for someone who treats their video games better than their own boyfriend.” He teased, leaning in to press their lips together in a slow, gentle kiss.
“You are literally so annoying.” Ethan laughed, one of his hands crawling up Grayson’s neck to tangle into the hair at the nape of his neck, tugging a bit while he kissed him again. “But you’re right. I am lucky.” He breathed against Grayson’s lips, nudging their noses together.
“Ugh, you’re gross.” Grayson laughed happily.
If there was one thing Grayson could always count on, it would be Ethan absolutely flustering him with how sappy he got. Grayson wouldn’t have changed it for the world.

Infidelity’s a bitch Pt. 2
The angst continues 😢💛
———
Ethan Dolan is not a perfect man. By any means.
He is not the perfect husband, father, or person.
He proves it all the time, with minor mistakes, mistakes that don’t amount to anything besides what they are: mistakes.
Ethan just proved it again. This time, in a major way. Irreversibly, catastrophically, fucked-for-life kind of way. It may or may not have involved the fact that he was deeply, deeply in love with his twin brother.
Ethan had always had an idea of what his life was going to look like. He wanted the American dream, a beautiful wife, kids running around a big grass lawn, a pool, a steady income so he could provide for his family.
Never once did he think he would jeopardize it. Then again, never once did he think he’d be fucking his twin brother into his and his wife’s bed.
They were too fuckin’ old for this, hiding around every corner and pining after one another like teenagers, too old to be having rushed quickies when their wives weren’t looking, too old to not confront all the damage they had done.
It was getting to be too much. Ethan had been fighting himself and his thoughts this whole week. He hadn’t once stopped worrying about Grayson, about his kid, about the perils life had set out for him to suffer through. His anxiety had really gotten the best of him and he had been struggling to quell his worries.
He thought he’d just needed some grounding. Grayson always brought him back down to Earth when he needed it most and helped him remember what was important. Except, this time, it only made him feel like he was going more insane. He felt as if this, being inside Grayson, allowing himself to be this intimate with his brother, had further thrusted him into believing this new idea he’d been tossing around in his head for a while, which was: I am ruined for everyone but Grayson.
Ethan had mulled over that thought, which had felt like it had eaten a hole through his brain over these last few months, for countless, endless hours. The more Ethan convinced himself of it the more he realized that it had been fact for a long time. Way before their wives, or the birth of Ethan’s son. It was just now that he was coming to terms with it. Far too late.
Ethan wished he could focus on Grayson’s beautiful face, contorted in such a way that made him look angelic, on Grayson’s beautiful grunts and pants, trying his best to stay quiet so he wouldn’t wake the sleeping baby just a few rooms away. All he could do was push his thoughts back, at least reducing them to a low hum, but they were ever-present.
Ethan came inside of Grayson and kissed him until Grayson whined. He helped his twin clean up and laid with him, both still naked, but wrapped under the covers. Grayson had his head on Ethan’s chest while the older twin had his arm around Grayson’s shoulder, rubbing his arm gently.
It’s completely quiet. The silence feels so thick, and heavy, and disgusting. Ethan feels like he’s suffocating.
“I’m going to tell her.”
There’s a few more beats of silence.
Ethan hadn’t realize he’d spoken until he felt Grayson’s head move from his chest to look at him. Ethan didn’t return the gaze.
“Ethan.”
Grayson’s voice is so soft. Not angry. Not judgmental. Not disappointed. It’s comforting, warm, sweet-toned like it always is when he talks to his brother. Ethan hates him for it.
Ethan looks, even though he knew if he did, it would only make his stance more firm.
It only made his decision make sense.
Ethan knew he was about to throw away a five year marriage, a proper relationship with his son, any sense of normalcy.
“You don’t deserve this. I don’t deserve this. This... hiding, pretending like I love my life, like I’m a good person. I don’t want to do it anymore, Grayson.” Ethan speaks firmly. It’s amazing, really, him sounding so sure of himself, when his track record proved that he could be such a pushover at times, especially when it came to Grayson. “I’m going to tell her. And it’s going to fuck everything up. I won’t say anything about you, obviously, but I have to say something.”
Ethan’s rambling now, trying to get his thoughts and feelings out before he fully broke down.
“I thought this was what I wanted, but it’s far from it. I hate it. I hate everything about not being able to be with you. It’s all I can think about, Gray. I haven’t touched her in months. I think she knows something is up. I can’t even bring myself to care anymore. I don’t think I’ve ever loved her.” Ethan’s voice starts to shake, like he’s about to let his emotions manifest into a slew of tears, and Grayson can sense it.
Grayson reaches up before Ethan continues further, before he completely self destructs before his eyes. Grayson’s hand is warm as he places it on Ethan’s cheek, gently rubbing his cheekbone. Grayson wonders how he ever doubted his brother. He had felt so alone this whole time, like this thing could possibly be one sided, but Ethan proved himself clearly. He proved that he, in fact, wanted Grayson just as much as Grayson wanted him. He wonders how he ever thought they could possibly live without each other, even despite their special circumstance.
It silences Ethan for a moment, and Ethan can feel his breathing even out at Grayson’s touch. Grayson didn’t even have to say anything to assure Ethan it would all be alright.
“I think... I think I’m going to leave her.” Ethan finally said.
Grayson looks at him for a few more seconds, before nodding once.
“I don’t expect you to do the same. Fuck, I don’t even know if you feel the same way as I do.” Ethan sighed, quickly reaching up to wipe away the threat of tears before they got out of control.
“You’re so dramatic.” Grayson, finally, spoke. He had a soft smile on his face, still so confusingly loving and warm. Grayson moved to straddle his brother’s waist, sitting himself back on his hips. They were both still naked, but it wasn’t the most pressing issue at hand.
“You think I’d still be doing this if I didn’t feel the same? If I just wanted to cheat, then I could easily find someone at a bar, or a club, or whatever.” Grayson continued, placing his hands on Ethan’s chest for leverage. “I wouldn’t be risking everything if you were nothing more than a cheap fuck.”
Ethan didn’t know he was crying until Grayson reached up to wipe his cheeks. Was he saying what he thought he was saying? This couldn’t be happening, he had convinced for several years that this exact moment would never come. “So, what? What are you saying?” He asked meekly.
And then, Grayson leans down, inches away from Ethan’s face, presses their foreheads together.
“I love you.”
Ethan couldn’t help the soft sob that left his mouth after Grayson said those three little words. It wasn’t sad, or disappointed, or angry, it was the exact opposite. Ethan had never felt a more intense happiness. Grayson loved him. It was everything he’d ever wanted, ever since their days back in Jersey.
“Stop crying, you’re gonna make me cry too.” Grayson said playfully, kissing his wet cheeks, and then his lips, slowly, sweetly. “As far as me leaving my wife, we’ve already started the process.” Grayson admitted. It was something he’d told no one about, not even Ethan. He didn’t need anyone to know he was getting a divorce after just three years of marriage, and he didn’t want to spring it on Ethan before he was sure their plan was settled.
And, of course, he couldn’t tell Ethan he had left his wife for him, only to find Ethan didn’t feel the same. Now, though, it seemed perfect. Like it was laid out for them. Now was their time to be together.
Grayson’s marital issues had started with him always leaving in the middle of the night, staying out until the early hours of the morning and not coming back until later that night, when he’s gotten off from work. It had been a routine that slowly killed their marriage, because every time, the excuse was Ethan. Grayson can remember when she last confronted him about all of this.
“Who is she?” She’d asked, in tears and looking desperate for answers. When Grayson didn’t answer, didn’t even look at her, he supposes that’s when it clicked. She got quiet for a moment, probably trying to form a proper response to it. “It really is Ethan then, isn’t it?” She continued to question through her tears, sounding numb now. “You make me sick.”
Grayson had neither confirmed or denied her suspicions, mostly because she turned and left the room after that, but he was sure she got all the confirmation she needed when he continued to leave, night after night, without any explanation on his part.
“We need to finalize some things with our lawyer, and then it’ll be official.” Grayson murmured. Sometimes he felt bad for not feeling worse about all of this. He felt like he should’ve made a bigger effort to keep her from finding out, but it was all said and done. She was leaving him, and she knew it was because of his unusual, overly-intimate relationship with his twin brother. Grayson would usually worry about her knowing something so damning, but he finally had the freedom to be with who he wanted to be, and he couldn’t find it in himself to worry about anything when the promise of Ethan was being dangled right above him.
“Oh my god, Gray.” Ethan sighed shakily, wiping his face again and shaking his head in disbelief. “It’s going to look weird, both of us divorcing our wives at the same time.” He said, almost timid, obviously worried about the possibility.
“I don’t care.” Grayson said truthfully. He had stopped caring about what people thought a long time ago, even though anyone knowing would most likely end in disaster. He stopped caring because Ethan was the one person who made him truly happy, who served as his only purpose and drive, and the fact that they were brothers was not going to stop him from living his truth.
“I love you.” Ethan whispers through his tears, leans up to kiss his twin again, smiling as he pulled away. “I’m going to give you the life you deserve, Gray. The life we deserve.” He breathed. “I’ll give you everything.”
Grayson, who was smiling so wide he felt like his face might split in half, just leaned in to kiss him once more, letting it last much longer, so he could savor the taste he craved most, the taste of pure love and devotion.
All seems well, for once.

73. I like proving you wrong.
Related; Ethan is 17 and Grayson is 20, I’m picturing Ethan in his colored hair streak phase and Grayson as pretty much the same as present-day Grayson.
————
Ethan feels like imploding when he hears Grayson say those words. Who the fuck does he think he is, playing with his emotions like this? Does Grayson even understand how shitty he’s being?
Well, Ethan’s not sure he understands either, especially not when Grayson’s hand grips his hip and he pulls him flush against his chest, and kisses him like he deserves such affection from Ethan. As stubborn as he is, the younger boy melts into it, standing on his toes to make sure they don’t pull away too soon. When they pull away, Ethan wants more, he craves it, hasn’t been touched by his brother in months and needs it like he needs air to breath. He’s still a brat, though, and he gently places a hand on Grayson’s chest and pushes him away.
“Get away from me.” Ethan huffs. He won’t get over it, not so easily, and not just because Grayson is here to cloud his every thought.
The guy thinks he can just leave, for months at a time, and come back to a sweet, obedient, doting little brother? Absolutely not! Yeah, Ethan knew it was for a good reason, that he had to finish his education, or whatever. It still upset him to still be in high school while his brother seemed to be having the time of his life at college.
“Don’t act like you don’t love it when I kiss you.” Grayson teased, hands still on Ethan’s waist despite the fact that he pushed him away. “And don’t be a sore loser, either. You knew I’d win from the beginning.”
Ethan rolled his eyes so hard at Grayson he thought he’d faint from the intensity of it, the younger brother scoffing and fully pulling away from Grayson. “Fuck right off.” He huffed. “You’re sweaty and gross anyway.”
They’d made a bet before summer started. Whoever could bench more by the end of the semester won topping rights for the summer. It was petty, really, as most of their arguments and bets were, but Ethan had been frustrated with his older brother for a while and the fact that he never let him top. Something about how he’s ‘too scrawny’. The comments spurred Ethan’s stubborn temper quite a bit, and he was immediately emboldened to prove Grayson wrong. Though, now that the results were in, and Grayson over took him by quite a bit, he regretted ever being mad. Now, they were standing in the middle of their parent’s workout room, both sweaty and tired, Grayson shirtless and showing off exactly how hard he’d worked to win, with a fuming, les than impressed Ethan.
“Hey, we still both kinda win. Look at how much you bulked up, baby,” Grayson praised, all while his hands went to squeeze Ethan’s biceps. “You look really good.” Grayson smirked then, leaning in for another kiss.
Ethan didn’t know how this always happened. His brother could soften him up so well and make him do whatever he wanted. Ethan hated it most days, mostly just when Grayson was present and using his ability all the time, but he found himself missing how easily he gave himself up to Grayson when he was away. Ethan mostly hated how often Grayson left and how he only got phone calls and texts and FaceTimes. He would never say it out loud, but he wanted Grayson in so many more ways than he could explain, in a lot more ways than he’d ever have the courage to say out loud.
“Fuckin’ kiss ass.” Ethan grumbled. The blush on his cheeks barely had time to settle before Grayson was kissing him again, deeper this time, so passionate that Ethan was having a hard time keeping up. He let out a gasp when Grayson easily lifted him up and went to press him against the opposite wall, Ethan’s arms wrapped tight around his neck.
“You act so stubborn, but I know how you get as soon as I get my cock inside of you,” Grayson purred after pulling away. “You get all, ‘yes, Grayson,’ ‘more, Grayson,’ ‘fuck me harder,’ isn’t that right?” Grayson imitated Ethan’s moans while he spoke, grip bruising on his little brother’s thighs.
Ethan could barely find enough energy to fight him on the matter, nodding obediently and whimpering when he felt Grayson press him harder into the wall. “Yes, Grayson.” He could feel Grayson’s sweaty chest press against his, the feeling making him hot all over.
“That’s right, E. My beautiful boy, so good for me even when I’m away.” Grayson continued and pressed kisses to the side of Ethan’s face, a sweet contrast to his possessive words.
Ethan had to close his eyes to savor the feeling. “I love you. So much.” He breathed, letting his thighs squeeze around Grayson’s waist, pulling him even closer. He would cherish every moment he had with Grayson while he was here, even if it meant discarding his pride for the time being.
“I love you more.” Grayson hummed.

First and Last
Ask: I’m always trash for first kisses. Like realizing they have feelings more intense then normal. Like maybe Ethan just got dumped and Gray is trying to comfort him?
————
Solitude can be good. Inherently. Escaping from the noise of responsibilities, of appearances and personalities, was good. It was good to step back from all of it, at least for a little.
Not right now, though. Not for Ethan.
Life had been going, well, shitty, for lack of a better term. It was one thing after the other, one shitty realization after the other. Maybe ‘shitty’ was a strong word. ‘Unpleasant’ maybe worked better. ‘Uncomfortable’. ‘Unbelievable’.
Ethan supposed it was his fault for letting this happen. He should’ve called more often and he should’ve made a greater effort to be a better partner. He should’ve done a lot of things a lot differently, he was the first to admit that. Did he think it would end with him being dumped? No. Did he think he would handle it better than he was? Absolutely.
Ethan wondered if he was always destined to fail in his relationships. Maybe this was all for a reason? Maybe he wasn’t supposed to have a person, or a love of his life? Maybe God truly thought he was that undeserving. Maybe him being alone and letting his thoughts circle around and around themselves wasn’t so good.
It was quickly remedied when Grayson sat next to him on his bed. Ethan still sat, hunched over with his face in his hands. He’d briefly announced his new relationship status to Grayson when he came home earlier, but had rushed to his room before he could explain. He didn’t really want to, anyway. It was too much to even sit here and think about, there was no way he could put all of it into eloquent words. Ethan doesn’t want to talk it out. He would rather die, he decides, than have to explain to Grayson what a horrible boyfriend he is. Dying actually sounds pretty nice compared to what’s happening now, the tense silence between seeming to grow bigger and louder the longer they endured it.
Grayson is the first to do something, one of his hands reaching to rest warmly between Ethan’s shoulder blades. Ethan doesn’t want to admit it, but it helps immensely. It’s wordless and barely anything, but it’s like Grayson said a thousand words. I’m here, you’re okay, it’ll be okay, you’re not as horrible as you think, just breathe. Ethan does, lets out a long sigh and lifts his head finally, looking straight ahead.
Ethan feels a disconnect, because he knows Grayson doesn’t quite understand what he’s feeling, but he tries anyway. That’s what Ethan loves so much about his brother, how willing he was to open himself up to him, for whatever it may be.
“You don’t have to say anything.” Grayson starts first and gently rubs at Ethan’s back with his thumb.
The gesture makes Ethan’s skin burn pleasantly in the shape of a hand.
“You don’t have to explain anything, either. I know you want to.” Grayson is almost cooing at him, it makes Ethan nervous. He doesn’t really understand why. “What do you need?”
The question catches Ethan off-guard. He doesn’t feel like he deserves the kindness Grayson so willingly gives up to him. He finally turns his head to look at Grayson, searching his face for any kind of judgement. Nothing. It was almost terrifying, how difficult it was to read him right now. “To not be alone.” He says simply. It comes out weaker than he wants it to.
Grayson nods. He’s so good with this kind of stuff, Ethan is jealous of his strength and wisdom on all these things, even though Grayson hadn’t necessarily gone through them. “You want a hug?” Grayson cracks a small smile, like he already knows the answer.
Ethan wishes he could be stubborn and resist, but he nods and watches as Grayson snakes his arms around his shoulders and squeezes him tight, interlocking his fingers together to keep Ethan in place. Grayson rests his chin on Ethan’s shoulder and lets out a sigh of his own. His touch is much needed, at least on Ethan’s part. Especially after feeling like he was completely unloveable. It calms the jitters of loneliness.
It’s quiet again for a long time. Ethan thinks maybe they could stay like this forever, but his mouth stays four steps ahead of his brain. “I’m terrible, Gray.” Ethan croaks out. “I deserve this.” Ethan says hopelessly. Grayson doesn’t believe it at all, always a sucker for second chances. “I deserve to be alone. I don’t know how to treat people right.” He rambled a bit, letting his head hang and rest in his hand again.
Grayson’s brows are furrowed in thought as he listens to Ethan. It hurts, having Ethan believe such bad things about himself. He wishes he knew how to prove to his brother that he’s not those things at all. “E, you’re in your head right now, and you don’t realize how ridiculous you sound.” Grayson’s voice is gentle, and understanding, still mindful of the state Ethan was in while delivering the truth. “And how untrue all those things are.”
Ethan winces as Grayson tries to convince him otherwise, lifts his head again and leans it against Grayson’s, his cheek pressed against his twin’s forehead. “I don’t believe you.”
“You should. Why do you think I’ve stuck around for so long?” Grayson whispers. Ethan can hear the smile in his voice and it makes something ignite inside of him.
Grayson pulls away a little and the arm crossed over Ethan’s chest slides back until his hand finds its new location, resting over his heart. It shouldn’t feel as intimate as it does, Ethan thinks fleetingly. “If that was true, then why would you have been born with a twin, huh? You don’t see that you’re the opposite of all those things? To me?” He murmurs and the hand on Ethan’s chest moves up to his neck, his thumb stroking his jawline tenderly.
Ethan is taken aback by Grayson’s unexpected insight. Ethan thinks he’s starting to understand why he’s so bad at this whole boyfriend thing. He focuses on how Grayson’s hand feels so big on him, swallows thickly and knows Grayson can feel his adam’s apple bob nervously. Grayson had a point. Ethan did treat him with a special kindness and love he reserved especially for him. It’s not like he did it on purpose. It was.. innate. Maybe that’s why it had taken him so long to put it in its own league. Because, it was normal.
Grayson’s smile seems to widen. There’s something in his gaze that Ethan can hardly process. What is it? His brain racks itself over and over for some reasonable explanation for it, only to come up again and again with a blank. Holy fuck. “You are... absolutely the opposite. I don’t think you realize how good you treat me.” Grayson speaks so languidly. Like this is rehearsed, or something. “I don’t think you deserve loneliness. I think you deserve the world. The stars and the moon, too. You deserve-“ Grayson cuts himself off and Ethan is utterly terrified.
Oh, God. No, no, no. No.
“You deserve more than I can give you.” At that, Grayson looks kind of sad, but that smile, that pretty, flawless, concrete smile, doesn’t change.
What can Ethan say? What can he do?
“I can try though, can’t I?”
It clicks.
Solitude can be good. Why would Ethan prefer it, though? Why would he ever prefer anything other than the feeling of Grayson’s lips against his own, fitting against Ethan’s like they were made for it?
Ethan’s eyes are closed, but he can feel as both of Grayson’s hands cup either side of his face. Grayson pulls away too fuckin’ soon. Ethan shows a sense of urgency when he wraps his fist around one of his brother’s wrists and Grayson responds by pressing his forehead against Ethan’s and smiling, again.
Why does it feel normal? Why does their intimacy, taken past boundaries they could never again redraw, feel like it makes sense?
“How long?” Ethan finally lets out meekly.
“Forever.”
It’s not what Ethan expects, but it’s what he needed. Suddenly, he’s instigating the affection, kissing Grayson hard and forcing the younger twin to open himself up to him. This time, in a way Ethan never knew he would crave. Ethan doesn’t pull away immediately, no, he licks into his mouth and is pulled even closer as Grayson’s arms loop around his neck.
Oh my God, Ethan thinks. How did I not see it?
“Do I have say it?” Grayson breathes after he pulls away, smiling like the absolute idiot he was.
“Yeah.” Ethan smiles slowly and it feels like the whole world fades away around them. “I want to remember what it sounds like, coming from you.”
Grayson kisses Ethan lightly before speaking again.
“I love you.”

42 from prompt challenge ? 🧡👏🏼
42. This is where you impress me, right?
Not related; Ethan is 35 and Grayson is 21
Grayson narrowed his eyes a bit at the man sitting on the stool next to him.
Had he just said what Grayson thought he had?
Grayson wasn’t sure what to do, or what to say, in this situation. Usually, he was able to charm men and women alike with his sweet talking, easy. Now, though, being challenged like this, was completely new to him. He’d never met someone so intent on not entertaining his moves.
“Huh?” Grayson said in disbelief, which made the man laugh. Grayson watched him take a long sip from his glass, and admired the way his tongue swiped across his bottom lip to collect any drops of alcohol.
“I’m sorry. What I meant to say was, talk is cheap.” The man murmured, his voice smooth and deep, absolute music to Grayson’s ears. Though, not exactly, especially when this guy was basically teasing him.
“You’d rather I grab your face and kiss you instead?” Grayson tried again, trying his hardest to flirt because God, this man offered a challenge Grayson had yet to encounter and he was incredibly intrigued by it. “That’s a little rude, shouldn’t I buy you a drink first?”
The man looked at him, finally, and smiled, looking him over shamelessly before speaking again. “I’m Ethan.”
“Grayson.”
“You into older men, Grayson?” Ethan smirked, turning in his stool so he could face the pretty young thing, dressed to impress, of course, with a sinfully tight button up and the sleeves rolled up to the elbows, as well as the first few buttons undone. Ethan wouldn’t even dwell on the way the kid’s muscles strained against the dark fabric, or the intoxicating scent of the cologne he was wearing. Ethan nearly forgot he was playing hard to get as he eyed him up and down.
“You could say that.” Grayson smiled back, going to lean his elbow on the bar. “Maybe I’m just into you, though.” Grayson hummed and raised a brow at Ethan, making the older man laugh again.
“You’re cute.” Ethan teased softly, before downing his drink in one last gulp. “Do people usually fall for that kind of talk? I could see how it could work on any twink you set your eyes on, its kind of endearing.” He laughed again, earning a sort of grumpy pout from the kid.
Grayson could already feel the desire burn strong in his tummy. He felt himself getting turned on and mad all at once. That was new, he thought, being low key made fun of and struggling to hold back the impending boner from it. Grayson didn’t know whether to give up or give in. “Well, I’m sure I can impress you, you’ve just gotta let me show you what I can do.” He smiled kind of sweet, staring right into Ethan’s eyes. It was a tactic that usually worked, so maybe it would work on the stubborn man before him.
Ethan could already feel himself wanting to take the bait. It had been so long since someone as gorgeous as Grayson had tried to pick him up, and although he was being a shithead for kicks, the kid’s determination was kind of a turn on.
Ethan stared back at Grayson for a moment and watched as he ordered another drink for him, the older man smiling yet again and gratefully taking the new glass when the bartender brought it. “I am curious, I can’t lie,” Ethan hummed, taking a sip from his glass and setting it back down, his middle finger circling the rim slowly.
“So, take a chance.” Grayson teased, one of his hands creeping down to rest warmly on Ethan’s thigh, squeezing the flesh gently. “I want these beautiful thighs wrapped around my head, is that too much to ask?” His voice turned into a sweet purr, taking Ethan’s arousal even further.
Ethan was sure Grayson knew his answer as soon as they began speaking, but now it just seemed too good to pass up. The brunette was practically begging him to fuck his face, to split him in half, to fuck him so stupid that Grayson wouldn’t be able remeber how to say anything but ‘harder’ and ‘more’. Ethan answered after only a moment of imagining the boy bouncing on his cock.
“Mine or yours?”
