Kako smo završili sa SEO svijetom u kojem danas živimo (sa stajališta webmastera)?Prve tražilice za internet - SEO povijest Čovjek po imenu Alan Emtage, student na Sveučilištu McGill, razvio je prvu tražilicu za Internet 1990. godine. Ova tražilica se zvala "Archie" i dizajnirana je za arhiviranje dokumenata dostupnih na Internetu u to vrijeme. Otprilike godinu dana kasnije, Gopher, alternativna tražilica za Archie, razvijena je na Sveučilištu u Minnesoti.
