MY SCHOOL - CHILDHOOD TRAUMA....
People talk about nostalgia, they miss their childhood and school days but whenever I hear 'SCHOOL' I remember my 2nd school (I have gone to 3 schools). My 1st one is Foster's School (nursery-5th class) and that was good but had to change because it became Foster's Bellibong International School in Saket now, I was there in my 5th class but the syllabus turned tough because it became CBSE to ICSE suddenly and I couldn't score well like before in my 5th class, that's why in 6th I was sent to Dr KKR's Gowtham School in ECIL which was CBSE and they even used to train children from 6th class for MPC (a course in inter) by having extra classes, obviously excluding the regular class. Life was just school to home, only about studies. There was no other focus or hobby to even think about, this continued from 6th-9th class and all these years from 6th to almost 9th's half class I met the most toxic people of my life in the form of friends and teachers. It was like a jail from 7AM - 7PM and I was thinking about these traumas of the day in the remaining time at my home too.
I was in depression when I didn't even know its meaning, kept shouting that I don't want to go there to being there every morning crying. My only complain to my parents till date is only about that school, "WHY YOU JOINED ME THERE AND RUINED MY 4 YEARS, WHY DID YOU JUST DO THAT AFTER HEARING TO MY COUSIN SISTER'S OPINION? THERE IS A SCHOOL NEAR TO OUR HOUSE CALLED BHAVANS, WHY NOT THAT? I COULD HAVE BEEN MYSELF, MY EXTROVERTEDNESS COULD COME OUT, WOULD NOT BE SCARED TO TALK TO STANGERS (specially opposite sex), COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AT SPORTS, COULD HAVE PURSUED MY HOBBIE OF WRITING SINCE LONG BACK, COULD HAVE HAD FRIENDS, COULD HAVE CONTINUED GUITAR, COULD HAVE FUCKING NOT CRIED AND SUFFERED SO MUCH!"
After fighting for almost 2 years like a freedom fighter I got my school changed in 10th class to Bhavan's Vivekananda school and obviously because it was 10th class I had to just study for boards and cleared it later with a lot of efforts as my education in the previous school, in 8th and 9th was not so good so started from scratch, in a new class, in a new school, with few bullies there, new teacher, expectations...etc etc passed successfully and there my learning about self importance, self prioritizing, self love, being selfish, not letting anyone into my trust circle easily...everything related to me as I had to build myself from scratch after the wounds of 4 years.
After boards I joined 11th and 12th class (inter college) in Bhavan's itself as it was CBSE and that was the time I was better and was healing happily as I found my hobby of writing and badminton as the sport I want to play and enjoyed a lot with them. I made few new friends but kept them outside my trust circle so that I don't get hurt again as obviously I was still healing and those friends of mine are not my friends anymore because I never expressed my feelings to them as I myself didn't know that I am dealing with this trauma till date because I suppressed it within me saying, "THAT WAS PAST! I HAVE CHANGED MY SCHOOL AND I AM FINE NOW, HAPPY HAPPY!"
I recently a few days ago started getting nightmares about this 2nd school again in my dreams which is when I realised that I have come this far, am working now, finished my school, inter college and degree college but that memory of toxicity and trust breaking by my friends (on whom I dependent a lot back then, literally pleaded them to be by friends in 9th class after they left me in 8th class) has broken me so much that I don't have any such close bestfriends or anyone with whom I have shared all these details of my mental health fuck up till date.
I am just letting all this out now because today I went there, where the building is the same but it's interiors have completely changed and it is still changing as it is under construction and I knew that I have to move on from those school days but I wanted someone to tell that to me apart from me telling it to myself so I went to that place and the building itself told me, "I AM CHANGING SO SHOULD YOU!" and I know it sounds very philosophical but this really happened to me today and I have to move on from that painful memory to what is in my present and future.
#moving on!
#suppressed emotions are out and fully finally out of me!

The fluorescent lights of the conference room buzzed with nervous energy, casting a sterile glow on the anxious faces surrounding the mahogany table. As an essayist, I, Theresa Gowtham, thrived on nuance and emotional depth, a world far removed from the sterile efficiency of Richard Malisetty's corporate domain. Yet, here I was, thrust into the middle of an emergency meeting at his tech company, Symphonic.
Richard, the CEO, was the epitome of steely composure. His dark hair was perpetually styled, his tailored suit an immaculate armor. He was the architect of Symphonic's success, a man who wielded numbers and strategies like a maestro conducting an orchestra. Our paths had never crossed, not truly. I was the wordsmith, he the businessman, existing in separate spheres of the bustling city.
But fate, it seemed, had a peculiar sense of humor. A glitch in Symphonic's new AI program had caused a social media meltdown. An innocuous tweet about a new fitness tracker had morphed into a hilariously nonsensical rant about the mating habits of the Patagonian Mara. The room crackled with tension as Richard addressed the team, his voice clipped and controlled.
"We need a statement. Something concise, clear, and that maintains trust."
A beat of silence followed. Then, to my surprise, Richard's gaze met mine across the table. His eyes, a startling shade of emerald green, held a flicker of something akin to…pleading? I felt a spark ignite within me, a strange mix of trepidation and a wholly illogical urge to help.
"I might be able to draft something," I found myself saying, my voice surprisingly steady.
Richard's surprise mirrored my own. A slow smile tugged at the corner of his lips, a flicker of warmth in his usually stoic expression. The rest of the meeting blurred as I drafted a statement, weaving humor and transparency into a concise message that calmed the social media storm.
That night, after the crisis was averted, Richard offered me a ride home. As we sat in his car, the city lights painting the night sky, we talked. He spoke of the pressure, the constant need to be the unwavering leader. I, in turn, shared the vulnerability of putting my soul on paper, the constant fear of rejection.
Over the following weeks, our meetings transcended boardrooms and briefings. We’d steal moments for coffee breaks, discussing everything from the intricacies of human emotions to the elegance of a perfectly coded algorithm. Richard, beneath his CEO persona, was a man who craved connection, someone to understand the burden of his decisions. I, in turn, found myself captivated by his sharp mind and the quiet strength that lay beneath his polished exterior.
Our love story wasn't a whirlwind romance out of a novel. It was a slow burn, fueled by late-night conversations and a shared respect for each other's worlds. Richard started attending my book readings, his presence a silent anchor in the crowd. I, in turn, found myself drawn to the raw energy of his company's brainstorming sessions, the thrill of innovation palpable in the air.
There were challenges, of course. Merging our vastly different worlds wasn't always easy. But our love, born in the sterile light of an emergency meeting room, blossomed because of our genuine connection. Richard, the CEO who wielded numbers, and I, the essayist who wielded words, found a harmony in our differences, a symphony composed of logic and emotion, structure and creativity. And in that beautiful dissonance, we found a love story all our own.

Delhi Capitals Clash with Lucknow Super Giants: 64th Match Showdown 2024
Match Details
Teams: Delhi Capitals vs Lucknow Super Giants
Date and Time: Tuesday, May 14, 2024
Venue: Tuesday, May 14, 2024
Delhi Capitals vs. Super Giants of Lucknow: A titanic match
The high octane 64th IPL showdown on May 14th showcases a riveting clash between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants (DC vs LSG) at the prestigious Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
As Delhi Capitals wrestle with inconsistency despite their potent batting lineup Lucknow Super Giants dazzle spectators with their aggressive cricket tactics firmly securing a spot in the top three.
Delhi Capitals: Blues of Inconsistency or Batting Bonanza?
DCs batting prowess comes to the forefront with Shaw and Warner taking charge at the top effectively backed by Pant and Iyer. Despite their ongoing struggle with inconsistency the teams resilience shines through. To establish stability DC will look to either Dhawan or Dhull and rely on the reliable form of Axar Patel.
Is the Capitals' bowling blue?
DCs bowling contingent faces a shortage of a standout matchwinner despite their collective experience. Anrich Nortjes rapid pace poses a potent threat but doubts persist regarding his fitness.
The need for consistency is evident in the performances of Shardul Thakur and Mustafizur Rahman. Stepping into crucial roles against LSGs formidable batting lineup Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel hold the key to DCs bowling strategy.
The Super Giants of Lucknow: A Lubricated Machine?
In the realm of IPL 2024 LSG under the astute guidance of KL Rahul has emerged as a shining beacon with its potent lineup. Quinton de Kock and Deepak Hooda have ignited the matches with explosive beginnings closely supported by stalwarts like Marcus Stoinis and Krunal Pandya during pivotal moments on the field.
Their remarkably flexible batting lineup is skillfully complemented by a formidable bowling unit led by the dynamic duo of Dushmantha Chameera and Ravi Bishnoi well supported by the up and coming Avesh Khan and spinner Krishnappa Gowtham.
Prediction:
Get ready for an electrifying showdown at the Arun Jaitley Stadium as Delhi Capitals (DC) clash with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). The match teems with high scoring potential fueled by the formidable lineups of both teams. DCs power hitters must rise to the occasion tasked with outshining LSGs aggressive batsmen.
LSG is intent on prolonging their series of victories by showcasing exceptional bowling skills against DCs robust batting lineup. Although LSG holds the advantage DCs home turf may sway the balance in a closely fought match. The outcome will be determined by the teams ability to handle pressure and execute their skills effectively.
