something very scarcity minded about the frenetic pace meme culture has reached, it reminds me a lot of great depression grampas. memes that gain nothing from the "'i wish i had x' the humble y:" format, you don't have to save that box of old paint chips grampy, you can make room in the garage for something more useful. the fifth video i saw in that tiktok format where they keep cutting to the punchline i felt like no gramma you don't have to save the potato peels to boil for soup we have a fridge full of food
