I've been watching The OC and I just realized last night that I'm the same age as the main characters lol
#i got to an episode that said they're the class of 2006 & i was like oh wait i graduated in 2006 omg i'm the same age as them#this show was already making me super nostalgic for the 2000s but now it gives me feelings b/c i'm the same age lol#god i'd go back to 2006 in a fucking heartbeat. i wouldn't want to be in high school again but i hate the way things are these days#let me go back to a time before influencers & maga politics & ai generated slop. give me a little flip phone & myspace lol#anyway i never got to watch it when it first aired b/c my dad's wife was obsessed with grounding me#but all of my friends watched it so i feel even more nostalgic watching it b/c they used to quote it or talk about it a lot#ALSO I'M PISSED b/c i had a major character death spoiled for me by a buzzfeed article like 10 years ago#i'm not there yet but the whole time i'm watching it knowing it's going to happen :(#p
