God bless end-otw-rascism people. If someone asks you how you plan on dealing with people potentially abusing your policy suggestions, it's better to say "We haven't thought of that yet." instead of simply saying AO3 has a anti-harassment policy. We (general) know it does. The question is, with the changes you hope to bring, do /you/ have any idea of how to deal with the inevitable grudge reports? 'Cuz dicks'll be dicks and they'll use any tool for dickery, so what's the plan? What's your plan?

Hello! Regarding the decreasing comments thing on Ao3, I just wanted to mention that, in my experience lately, whatever I write when making a comment on a fic, Ao3 always, always, inhibits me from posting it because it claims that the comment "looks like spam." It simply won't let me post a comment no matter what I write, so sometimes I just go to Tumblr and write my comment to the author there instead. Other people might be experiencing the same issue and that could explain the decrease in comments on Ao3 and the increase in comments on Tumblr. That's just my theory due to my experience, though. Oh that's weird?? God bless ao3 and the OTW team but there is always some weird shit going on over there. That's interesting though, what I'm getting from all of this is that maybe there isn't one reason. Technical difficulties + oversaturation + hostile comments sections + show dominance etc. Thank you for the input, it definitely helps me a lot!!
