You sip your drink across from the older boy who had asked for your attendance today. You had ordered your favourite from the Starbucks cafe you had sat down in and Jisung happily snacked away on a piece of cheesecake he had bought. You giggled at his full cheeks.

"What are you laughing at?"

You show him the picture you had taken of him of his puffy cheeks.

"Hey!"

You giggle and take another sip or your drink.

"You're cutem"

Jisung feels his cheeks warm up at your compliment but hides his flusteredness with a wink. "You're quite cute yourself~"

You go over to Jisung's house, looking around in awe at the studio set up he had in the corner of his room.

"You ready to listen to what I have?" He asks, picking up the headset that was on the table and booting up his laptop to pull up the song.

You nod, allowing him to put the headphones on your head with a smile on your face. He presses play.

"Will you tell me about yourself? You, who was seen from afar. I don't want to just watch without doing anything. Yeah, just tell me about you."

"You have such a nice voice!" You praise, feeding his ego.

He had actually made the song with you in mind, but he wouldn't admit that to you.

You finish listening to the song and take off the headphones.

"So, what do you think?"

"It was really good! I really like the Chorus. It's catchy. You did a great job."

Jisung rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. "You think so?"

You nod enthusiastically. "Yeah! It's super good!"

"Thanks, babe."

You giggle at the pet name.

Just then, your phone starts to ring. It's Sunghoon.

"Sorry, Sungie, I should probably take this."

He nods, allowing you to leave to take the call.

"Hey, Hoonie, what's up?"

"Don't 'Hoonie' me! What are you doing? Where are you?"

"Woah calm down. What are you so interested for?"

"You're not on a date, are you?"

You scoff. "No, I'm not. But even if I was, it wouldn't be any of your business."

"Where are you?"

"I'm with Jisung. One of the new members."

"What are you doing?"

"Why do you want to know? You're being really overbearing."

Sunghoon sighs. "I'm just looking out for you."

"Well, you're doing it wrong. I'm fine."

"Does Jake know?"

"What?" You pause at the mention of your crush's name. "Why does he need to know?"

"I dunno, he's almost as protective of you as I am. You don't want him to worry, do you?"

You drag your foot on the ground. "I guess not... I'll text him. Now stop bothering me."

"Be home before dinner."

"Yeah yeah whatever."

You hang up and return to Jisung's room.

"Hey, is everything okay?

You nod. "Just my brother being overbearing."

An awkward silence suddenly falls upon the room.

"So... what now?"

You look up from your phone. "I don't know. It's your house."

"Wanna watch a movie?"

You check the time before you agree. "Yeah, sure. I have to be home before six, though."

"Got it, I'll make sure to get you home safely by then."

Jake is waiting with Sunghoon when you get home. He runs up to you as you're saying goodbye to your friend.

"Bye, Sungie! Thanks for today. I had fun!"

"Anytime, babe. We should hang out again soon."

You nod in agreement. Jisung waves at Jake before taking off.

You turn to Jake. "Hi, Jakey. Are you staying for dinner?"

"Why were you with him?" He ignores your question.

"Oh, he wanted me to listen to a song he was working on and wanted some feedback, so I came over. And oh my god, his voice is so nice!"

Jake clenches his jaw at your appraisal of the older boy.

"It took you 5 hours to listen to a song?"

"We also watched Howl's Moving Castle. And before that, we went out to a cafe," you shrug.

Sunghoon calls for you to come inside for dinner.

"Are you coming?" You ask again as you begin to walk towards the door.

"I should probably get home and feed Layla."

"Okay. See you later?"

"Yeah."

Jake didn't understand why he felt so uneasy about you and Jisung. He just marked it up as his protectiveness over you. That must be it.

Sypnosis: Sunghoon's little sister, YN, has a huge crush on Jake Sim. The problem? Jake has a girlfriend. Sunghoon and the rest of Jake's friends don't like her. Sunghoon has been trying to nudge Jake in your direction but he is painfully oblivious. Until a new love interest takes your attention from him.
