I realized today I have exactly two reactions to food:

This is such a fucking hassle, I want to take a nutritional pill and not worry about it

Food is the closest I am capable of getting to a spiritual experience because it is both a science and an art form. Nothing can compare to the feeling of eating good food, and the first bite of a well crafted dish is the single greatest human experience

#i am secretly a massive food snob #i love high end restaurants and cuisine #i love multi course meals that are meticulously planned and plated #i like food the same way I like art #its vitally important for mental and creative wellness #but eating daily?? a fuckin hassle #it doesn't help that campus food is utter shit of unreliable quality #i cant even get a salad (which i love) because i kept finding black spots on the lettuce #and i got paranoid and stopped eating the salads #its not really paranoia i guess #given that our ''blue cheese'' pizza is usually straight up mold and that a few people have found bugs in their food #my post
