I didn't notice until I actually tried starting the romance path but the newer EE version of Kaidan is. hm. not so good.
#I was enjoying him when he was in a big party with inigo and lucien but then I was like hey I should see what they've added to the romance#this was a mistake I kind of don't like him now#I also don't like having my db's personality railroaded into '20 year old girl YA protagonist'#because he's uh. he's not that.#and tbh the last thing he needs in his life is a rude alcoholic frat boy with jealousy issues and no filter#I feel bad for this but I'm glad I ended up changing Kiai to a boring coat color so that I can use the splash white for something else#maybe I'm just too old for this shit#give me a romanceable companion who's unhinged but like in a '35 and tired' kind of way
