Like yeah I understand that laws and shit exist for a reason, and that a decent enough amount of the time they protect and help people. But goshhhhhhh right now I really wish it was easier to gain custody of a child you know isn't being treated right but there's nothing you can PROVE, because so many people don't think of children as human beings and don't think that they deserve rights.

#ramblings of an arrow #aaaaaaaaaa #gotta somehow stay on good terms with my parents and figure out how to stroke their egos in the right way #in order to try to convince them to give me custody of my fifteen year old little sister #which is SO unlikely #but also this is so actively harmful to her mental health #girl has no privacy and no way to communicate with anyone that isn't strictly monitored by my parents #she doesn't have a phone #if she wants to text me or any of her friends she has to use my mom's phone #and my mom reads through the conversations after the fact #to make things worse my mom WORKS at her school #so she can't get away from the ever watchful eyes of my parents *anywhere*#they completely uprooted and upended her entire life because she kissed one boy one time #made her move schools and moved churches and went so far as to threaten to move to a different state entirely because #because she kissed a boy??#SHE'S FIFTEEN #she lost her entire support system and can't contact any of her old friends #at least not without it being strictly monitored by my parents #like she just wants some room to BREATHE
