anyway here's my beloved stinky miitopia party, i've been building up a crossover story in miitopia since i first played the game many years ago, and as my interests have evolved, so has my cast for every replay. (i have genuinely lost count of how many times i have replayed this game)

i'm cringe but free etc etc.... sayaka/lissa/alfred aka aph america have been here the longest (my legacy blorbos, if you will) and are always on my endgame team, so they have immunity. everyone else has been loosely swapped around until it's settled into the form it's in now (and it still might change when i get obsessed with miitopia again). the town/story npcs are not as important or consistent across playthroughs, they're easily swapped around with random characters i find in mii central. the only exception is the great sage, whom i've drawn here. i also think waluigi is my new main dark lord, since he was my first thief before therion entered the picture. never actually drawn him though

cirno is my main protagonist because she is my ultimate legacy blorbo. in my loose story adapting this adventure i like to think she gets the elf class as a mandatory story beat like an fe lord during the arc where the whole gang is getting back together in karkaton. (elf design here is kinda bad, i swear i had a design doodled of it in my sketchbooks but i couldn't find it so i had to improvise)

i had three other "travelers hub" characters in the mage/imp/princess class but i never got around to drawing them because to be honest my miitopia resurgence kinda faded once i finished these drawings........ but i'll get to them too! all these designs are either loosely based off of existing outfits in the game or ones i straight up pulled outta my ass lmao

Father’s Day headcanons (even though that already passed oops)

-since Giorno had such a bad experience with his step dad and never knew his real dad, Father’s Day has always been something he didn’t think much of. He understood the sentiment, but knew that parents weren’t always the ones that pointed you in a good direction. Often it was someone else that helped shape who you are for the positive. He always would wonder about who his real dad was though. Like is his real dad good at dance dance revolution?

-Father’s Day has been bittersweet for Bruno ever since his father passed away. Even though he doesn’t like the overly gendered things for sale around Father’s Day and Mother’s Day, anything that had to do with fishing always reminded him of his dad. So he always buys a ton of it when he sees it. The house is full of cheesy fishing Father’s Day merchandise.

-Abbacchio feels that the best gift he could give his father for Father’s Day is to not to have to hear from him. In fact most of the time he feels like people were better off if they didn’t have to put up with him, except for maybe the other members of the mafia. Abbacchio hates that steak is gendered towards men and rolls his eyes whenever he walks past the super “masculine” Father’s Day merchandise they sell in stores.

-Mista is a father to all of the pistols, obviously, so on Father’s Day he buys a ton of food for himself of course. He bought himself one of those #1 Dad mugs. Also has a #1 dad shirt he wears on occasion.

-Father’s Day makes Narancia feel a huge mixture of negative emotions. The rest of the gang know this, as most of them have negative feelings towards the day as well. But Narancia, being Narancia, is much worse about knowing how to decipher his emotions than some of the other teams members so he is usually having a super bad day without really knowing the root cause of it all or knowing how to best move forward through the emotions. He tends to make a mess.

-despite his anger issues and rocky family memories, Father’s Day itself doesn’t make him feel anger. It’s more the random people that would like to mention things like “oh, even if he wasn’t a great dad he still provided for you” that made him angry.

-Trish hates her dad <3

Sneak Peek of “Breaking Chains”

Here’s a little taste of the one-shot I wrote exclusively for the Kintsugi collection. A finale to the Scars Series with lots of Dadbacchio and Giorno feels

“Giorno?” the woman cried, looking shocked.

Giorno whipped toward them and Abbacchio expected him to turn on his Don persona, and reply with some sort of charming greeting, but he didn’t. He didn’t say anything. He seemed to, instead, be frozen in place, hand clutching the basket so tight his knuckles whitened and his shoulders set at a defensive angle.

That instantly set the alarm bells off in Abbacchio’s head and he quickened his pace down the aisle.

“Where the hell have you been?” the woman demanded.

Abbacchio inserted himself beside, and slightly in front of, Giorno suddenly feeling the need to reprise his role as bodyguard. “You know these people, Giorno?” he asked.

Giorno glanced up at him, moving a fraction closer to Abbacchio in a way the goth had never seen him do facing down an enemy or disgruntled Passione member. Who the hell could shake him like that….?

Giorno’s mouth opened and closed slightly several times before he said, “Yes. They’re…my parents.”

Oh. Shit. Well, that would explain his reaction then.

“And who are you?” the woman asked Abbacchio, suspicion in her eyes.

“Abbacchio’s a friend,” Giorno said quickly before Abbacchio could say anything.

“A friend?” the man finally spoke, looking Abbacchio up and down, eyes narrowing. “What the hell is a grown man like you doing being friends with a kid?”

“Exactly!” Giorno’s mother exclaimed. “Are you safe, Giorno?”

Giorno let out a soft scoffing laugh. “You care about my safety now?” he demanded.

Abbacchio felt a swift sense of pride wash through him, keeping quiet to let Giorno have this confrontation as long as he was okay with it. It was probably long overdue.

Jolyne met you in jail as a cell mate, one she quickly found a lot in common with, especially regarding your rather special stand abilities. But your illness is what really drew her to you and made her determined to keep you safe after you became a couple. Her heart ached knowing you were stuck in a prison, when you should be out there experiencing life as much as you still could, but alas, you were here with her, and she tried to make things easier for you with her presence.

She was left stunned however, when you were attacked by some stand users and quickly found out that you perhaps didn't need the extensive help and care she had given you after all. Sam, your stand, was more than enough to destroy any enemy in sight, something she found absolutely awesome. Jolyne would absolutely cheer you on from the sidelines, completely forgetting that she had to fight too.

It makes her proud to see how strong you are despite your potential deadly fate and hopes to stay at your side until the end.

》JOTARO KUJO

You both were childhood friends turned lovers, and so he was very much aware of your condition from day one. He watched as your illness progressed to become worse and worse until you were left unable to walk properly anywhere. But what hurt the most deep down was that you always remind me so gentle and calm with him anyway, despite his rather aloof and indifferent personality. His mother often teased him playfully for being so soft with you and only you, but he'd just stubbornly deny it every time.

With that said, anyone that hurts you is practically dead before they know it. He doesn't play around when it comes to your health or well-being, and so it does come to some sort of relief that your stand is extremely powerful. It made protecting and keeping you safe a lot easier when you could just do it yourself, too. This doesn't mean he won't keep his eyes on you at all times anyway.

Jotaro is somewhat in denial about what's most likely going to be your early passing due to your sickness, despite his rational mind. He doesn't want to think or hear about it, as it hurts too much to lose you as well.

》GIORNO GIOVANNA

Giorno met you through Bucciarati, and whilst you weren't directly a part of the gang, you were still an important person in it due to your stands immense strength. You immideatly introduced him to it through a battle against an enemy stand user, which made him take interest in you initially. You were gentle and soft-spoken, so it was definitely a contrast he quickly became infatuated with over time. But what really got him about you was that you were able to do all these great things despite being gravely ill.

It served as a reminder that life was cruel, and yet Giorno wasn't phased by it. In fact, he hoped that once he was successful with the mission of overtaking the boss, he'd eventually be able to get you the medical care you needed. He was determined to find a way to stop the illness or at least make life better for you, so you became another goal for him to fight for.

You can always count on him for anything and everything, that's for sure. He loves you greatly and wants to show you that by staying by you even when things get worse. So if you inevitably die, then he'll be there until your last breath.

i don't think giorno giovanna's survivors guilt after the end of part five and his trauma as a whole is spoken about enough. i do think he is more emotionally repressed than jotaro at times. as you read through this i want you to keep in mind that anytime there's a scene with young giorno before saving the mafioso's life, he never smiles, which is incredibly unusual for a child aged 1-5.

let's begin at his conception, giorno doesn't know who dio is, where he is, if he's even alive, or what he really looks like. all he has as proof that dio was real is himself and a single polaroid. the reason he doesn't know what dio looks like is because he isn't even fully facing the front of the camera. it's highly likely that when giorno was young, anytime he saw a tall, blond, muscular man, whether it be on the tv, in a magazine, or in real life, he thought 'is that my dad?'

his life in japan wasnt good either. his mother would abandon him as a toddler at night to go out partying. bearing in mind, he was still being bottlefed at this point. in the scene where it pans through the apartment(?) he and his mother lived in, it showed a baby bottle with a little milk left inside. giorno was so afraid at night he couldn't even cry, a baby/toddler not crying is not fucking normal. 

now onto his life in part 5 onwards. throughout part 5, the viewer rarely sees him express the extreme of any emotion, aside from pain after giving himself the antidote to purple haze's attack, and anger during his and cioccolata's fight. even as he's greiving the loss of his allies, he doesn't express much in terms of sorrow, yes, he cries when he can't save narancia, and his voice sounds incredibly hurt when he can't save narancia or abbacchio, but his reaction is still relatively calm compared to the likes of mista and narancia respectively, which brings me back to my point of him being more emotionally repressed than jotaro - the viewer sees jotaro express extreme emotions, whereas they don't with giorno. it almost feels like giorno is a side character in his own part because of how little focus is put on him and his trauma by the fandom.

upon moving to italy, he may have thought the neglect and abuse would stop, and it probably did for a short time, until his stepfather decided to start beating him. as i previously mentioned, during majority of the scenes with young giorno, he never smiles. he doesn't smile at his mothers wedding, which should presumably be a happy occasion, not during the ceremony when his stepfather is kind to him, not in the photographs shown later on. giorno also didn't have a safe space outside of his abusive household either, he was relentlessly bullied by his peers for being half japanese, having anti-immigrant rhetoric spouted at him anytime he was near his bullies. his life only started to look up after he saved the mafioso's life. even then, his stepfather was angry at the fact he couldn't beat his like four year old stepson for merely existing. yes his bullies stopped tormenting him, but, there was likely still underlying resentment on their side.

The King Diavolo orders his faithful Musketeers Bruno and Abbacchio to find your secret refuge. Helped by their team-mates ( Fugo, Narancia, Mista, Giorno), they will do anything in their power to catch you.

"L’abbiamo trovata, signore!L’abbiamo trovata!!"

(We found her, captain! We found her!!)

“Quant’è vvera a Maronna! Fermati Ghirga!!"

(Stop running Ghirga! You’ll kill us both!)

The voice of a boy echoed into the rocca, excited as his approaching footsteps

“Fermati, Cap ‘e cazz.”

(Stop, you fool.)

A young lad with a cascade of messy blonde hair caught the frantic boy by the scruff before he could erupt into the royal guard office.

“UE PANNACOTTA!MA IO T’ACCID-”

(HEY PANNACOTTA!I’M GONNA CUT Y-)

Pannacotta, that was his name, quickly confiscated the crumpled document from the sticky fingers of his team mate, urgently knocking with his free hand so he could both hide the verbal assault and inform the captain of their arrival.

“Avanti.”

“Come in.”

Fortunately, the commotion was covered by the sound of two fencers' blades colliding with each other. Once they opened the door to Bucciarti's office, the two found him sitting at a very long table in the back of the room, carefully observing two young men practicing the art of the sword.

To be more precise, that wasn’t just Bucciarati’s office, the place was used as an armory and, consequently, a sala d’arme. To further confirm this theory, there was a huge tapestry hanging behind the captain’s back, depicting a knight killing a huge serpent with a sidesword.

Golden but faded letters embroidered in the whool recited “Sala D’Arme Achille Marozzo”.

The room also did have long wooden tables at each side, which meant people were more than willing to grab a quick bite between a sword match and another.

In fact, tenente (lieutenant)

Abbacchio was eating a small and yellowish polenta with both feet crossed over an empty chair.

He was visibly resting while also never giving his back to the captain, which made him look a little bit crooked in his position and also not totally comfortable.

Well, has this man ever felt comfortable in his life?

Pannacotta was not sure.

Meanwhile, the two fencing lads, Giovanna and Mista, were putting on a real show and since they were both newbies, they attacked and never defended themselves.

This made Abbacchio frown in annoyance and reluctantly turn his sight to the meal.

Contrary to Bucciarati, Abbacchio was wearing only half of his musketeer uniform, his soubreveste and hat were abandoned on a near chair a long time ago. However, his authority kept speaking volumes even when half dressed.

“Nzerra chella port.”

“Close the door.”

He gritted between his teeth, his voice deep enough to be heard between the clashing of the striscia.

Ghirga obeyed and swiftly followed his teammate, his eyes glued to the two schermidori as they carefully passed their presence.

Pannacotta solemnly handed the paper to captain Bucciarati.

“Si tratta di una testimonianza, signore. Ghirga l’ha udita e io ho avuto il piacere di trascriverla nei minimi dettagli.”

(it is a witness statement, captain. Ghirga heard it, and I had the pleasure of transcribing it in great detail.)

Bucciarati inspected the document. Raised his eyes and then frowned.

Eyes back on the paper.

This time, He raised his eyebrows and frowned again.

“O’ casino.”

(A brothel.)

The fencing stopped.

Bucciarati's tone was inquisitive while raising his head one last time. Abbacchio intervened, putting his boots down abruptly.

“Cu cazz stat’ riciend?Pigliat ca bott. Il re n’ sta ceccando a zoccol’. ”

(Who you think you’re kidding? The king’s not looking for a whore.)

“Pe tte e femmene so tutte zoccol’ tranne mammà e soreta, ma nu vaie mai n’coppo o casino pe paura de truva.’”

(Women are all whores to you except your mother and sister, but you never enter a brothel in fear of meeting them.)

Interjected Mista, a slim but toned boy in his 20s.

Approaching the table with his striscia holstered, Mista addressed his superior with a wry smile, eliciting a stifled laugh from Ghirga.

He looked kind of ridiculous. Mista was wearing a pair of patched pants and no shirt. However he clearly thought it was a good idea hiding his thick sweaty curls under an uncomfortable as well as ancient aventail…without wearing a gambeson underneath.

His companion, Giorno Giovanna, noticed Abbacchio slowly clenching the spoon he was using for the polenta.

“chiavt a lengua ncùl. Se tu fossi la metà bravo a parare con la spada quanto lo sei a sparare cazzate, non ti saresti ritrovato in un vicolo buio con un buco in più nello stomaco.”

(Shut your fucking mouth, if you were half as good at parrying with a sword as you are at shooting shit, you wouldn't have found yourself in a dark alley with an extra hole in your stomach.)

Quickly, Bucciarati silenced the conversation by elegantly lifting his left hand from Manciolino's“Opera Nova”.

Mista looked at his concealed wound on his abdomen, while Giovanna put a sympathetic hand on his shoulder.

“Ne sei assolutamente sicuro, Narancia?”

(Are you absolutely sure about this, Narancia?)

Bruno’s calming and reassuring tone ,resembling the one of a father’s, gave Narancia Ghirga the courage to speak with his heart.

“M’Adda murì mammà.”

(I swear on my own mother.)

Said Ghirga who never spent a single word from the beginning.

“Si addà murì mammà n’altra volta...”

(Well, she can’t die twice…)

Interrupted Abbacchio scattering the plate on the table. The polenta was so stiff it didn’t even flinch a bit, remaining in its position as one of the most drunk front line soldiers.

“Me l’ha detto Una.”

(Una told me.)

many "ooohs" raised softly, followed by heads nodding and looking at each other, which made Narancia Ghirga genuinely smile. By contrast, Pannacotta put a hand over his eyes; royal guards should never reveal the nature of their witnesses.

Trish Una was the love child of King Diavolo, and for years he had kept her at court as a mere courtesan. One day, the maiden in question made a deal with a wealthy merchant named Pericolo and left her father's palace as quickly as possible, just like y/n did.

In exchange for certain secrets coming from the royal court, the royal guards had agreed to keep Trish hidden from her stepfather.

“Quella fimmina ne sa UNA più del diavolo.”

(That maiden is more cunning than a devil.)

commented Mista with a smirk and a dreamy expression.

“E suo padre ci farà il…Diavolo a quattro!HAHAHAHAHAHHA!”

(And what's better than a devil you don't know? A devil, you do!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

He added, bursting into a huge laugh with tears in his eyes.

"Ci andremo io e il tenente Abbacchio. Voi altri pensate a rendere confortevole l'ala ovest"

(The lieutenant and I will take care of that. The rest of you will stay here. Take this as an opportunity to prepare the West Wing's rooms for our soon to be host.)

Everyone got silent after Bucciarati's order. Pannacotta was brave enough to respectfully interject:

"Con tutto il rispetto capitano, ma un bordello non è di certo un posto privo di canaglie. Non sarebbe meglio attivare tutta la squadra?"

( Not to be disrespectful…A brothel is not a safe space in the slightest. Wouldn't be better if we all went?)

"Fermate nu mument'. Se agiamo in gruppo, potrebbero prenderla come una minaccia. Quanta probabilità c'è che un'intera unità abbia deciso di entrare in un bordello tutti insieme e appassionatamente?"

(Wait. If we went there as a group, we could be perceived as a threat. All one big happy family?How likely is it that an entire unit has decided to enter a brothel like one big happy family?)

Added Giorno while receiving a Death stare from Abbacchio. He hated when the newbie was right.

"Non so gli altri ma io come regalo di compleanno un po' me lo aspetto…"

(I don't know about the rest of this "Family", but soon is going to be my birthday and I wouldn't mind if this were my present…)

Nudge nudge, wink wink.

"Il punto è che se gli diamo modo di capire che siamo venuti lì per lei, ci inchioderebbero subito e cercherebbero di nasconderla o farla fuggire".

(The point is that if we appear too menacing, they would immediately try to hide her or make her escape.)

Whispered Fugo while all the looks turned to Bruno.
