How can anyone look at that devastated face in the mirror at the end of Wish and think that's a fitting ending? This man has had everything ripped from him. This isn't okay! He made mistakes but it was because he was scared and trying to protect his kingdom "At All Costs". Amaya is a monster. Asha is the villain! And now he's all alone and broken and scared instead of getting help he needed! I cried at the end. I hate this. Poor Magnifico!

100 Followers Event

So I hit 100 followers today! I'm in shock. I started my blog for fun and never expected anyone to follow me so thank you to everyone who stumbled on my nerdy blog and decided to stick around!

the more I write in general but ESPECIALLY the more I work on This Long Fucking Thing the more horrified I am every time I remember that there are people who don't know yet that they don't have to write linear-ways. like when people talk about how "oh I want to write a thing but there has to be all this STUFF between the beginning and the good part so it's hard t—" WHAT!!! WHAT?!! WRITE THE GOOD PART do not DO this to yourself!! made-up rule!!!

if I had to wait until I thought of stuff to put Before the first scene of this Thing that put me in a chokehold in the literal woods, before I WROTE ANY OF IT DOWN, I would have WITHERED AWAY FROM SADNESS. I wrote my chapter 1 draft like FIVE MONTHS after I started doing all this other shit. my chapter 2 file has like 3 coherent thoughts in it & I added 1 of those literally today. oh my god. oh my god. Sophia Content overflows out of my brain every day I'm alive & it like All goes smack in the middle of this story I can't just NOT PRESERVE IT

like this is true for shorter stuff too obviously (eg, wrote the end of Keeper first. by several months) and if I had to GUESS I'd assume the longer a thing gets the Less likely the author is to be thinking "ok let's think of an Opening Line so I can Begin the Journey to Writing The Emotional Payoff" or whatever but I just w. (pulls out a megaphone) PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FREE YOURSELF FROM THE SHACKLES. OKAY? PLEASE SET THE FREAK LOOSE; YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THE FREAK LEADS YOU. TO SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS.

Do you ever feel as a poc in this fandom you just don’t have a voice or will be blocked by white writers for using it? There’s so much bs shit that happens here but is it even worth it to use your energy to call it out or talk about it when people will just get defensive and not listen 😒

oh, definitely!

this is a predominantly white fandom, and from my observations, a lot like to show unconditional support, which is a privileged kind of ignorance (because we want to let our friends know when they’re in the wrong so it can be corrected, not encouraged). when I first joined, I’d see multiple people writing certain things that weren’t exactly poc (more often black) friendly and all the white authors were encouraging it in the comments and reblogs but the MOMENT a black person would speak up, it either got real quiet or their yt followers and friends thought they could speak on behalf of poc voices and not take offense for us, how sweet I know lol. it’s unchecked privilege, so I don’t care, I’ll check them and I’m sure it’s got me blocked a couple of times. but if my followers know anything about me, it’s that imma say something. regardless of their defense, if something they write offends my skin color and my self identity (because of my race), IM BUSTING OUT THE MEGAPHONE ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 📢📢📢🔊📣

🔥 FIRE - do they have any self destructive tendencies? what habits do they have that hinder them from becoming their best self?

They like to party WAYYYY too hard. There’s a reason why his father assigned a heavily augmented cyborg bodyguard to him in the first place, as Ren has a repeat history of getting TRASHED at literally any event he goes to. It reflects poorly on his family’s strength in the criminal underground, and makes himself appear more desirable as a easy target to take hostage or even kill to just make a statement. Honestly if he curbed his need to have such a loud lifestyle and the need to flaunt off his wealth, he would become much more mature and as intimidating as his father.

📣 MEGAPHONE - how loud are they? what do they speak like? got a voice claim?

They speak quite softly to be honest, which clashes against his usually boisterous and cocky personality. (I don’t really have a voice claim for him so far to be honest!)

🍀 CLOVER - do they believe in luck? are they lucky?

He absolutely believes in luck, as he’s SEVERELY superstitious, thanks to his genuine belief in yokai and other supernatural entities. He literally believes that his sword is on the verge of being haunted (as it’s well over 100+ years old and was ‘unused’ for a long time, which falls into the standards of when a object gains sentience/gets inspirited and becomes a Obake) and thus he treats it as if it’s a person! As if they’re personally lucky, well oddly enough yeah, it does seem like life IS in his favor….. so far.

AUGHHHH uagaughgh... i think its. his feelings about chip and jay. and the albatross as a whole. every time grizz talks about it in the rolled it gets to me because he cares about them SO MUCH ans it hurts him just to look at them and know the lived they went through and at least partially blame himself for them like. maybe jay couldve left earlier if hed been there for her maybe jayson wouldnt have been so cruel. maybe chip wouldnt have ended up running with such rough company for years if he'd still had a home maybe theyd all be safer if they'd been able to teach chip properly. he sees those teo and he sees the little boy his best friend risked his life for and the little girl he used to babysit and then he sees them as who they are now. and he probably sees the way their crew love them so kuch and he sees them play eith ollie and banter and tease and fight eith everyone the way a crew SHOULD and he sees everyones loyalty and maybe he wonders. would they choose the same as him, if it came down to it? if things went south that badly again would he have to take that shot? would one of them? COULD one of them?
