In your eyes, we will never be good enough.

Adults expect so much from our gerneration. I dont undertsand how im supposed to act like an adult all the time, but not get treated like one. They want us to grow up, but not be entitled to the same things that they are. It’s “thier house” until we have to clean it top to bottom. Its “start comunicating with the ourisde world instead of constantly being on the damn phone” and then its, “Stop going to parties you have to prioritatze your future”

If you want us to be so indepedent, please take your hand off the strings you manipulate us with.

And its funny, because it Its always somehow “because of the phone” IM SORRY THAT WE DONT HAVEN IT THAT EASY!!! We cant keep living like this. The world is so harsh to us as it is. 

THIS is why we are the stronger generation. Because of YOU. We have been broken and put back together again more times than we can count. If we were running the world already, things would be so much better. We have suffered so much. Start treating us with some respect. Because one day, we are going to thank you. Thank you for helping us see how utterly flawed and broken we are. Guess who we get it from?

So weird thing happened today, so a teacher said “I’m losing my will to live.” She said that Because a student was taking to long to answer. Literally almost the whole class said something like “same, me too, or mood.” I think that represents our generation pretty well

DSTV Digitizes Nursery Rhymes

Observation: DSTV has taken the ‘if you’re happy and you know it nursery rhyme and digitized it.

Why: This was done to promote DSTV’s latest offering - the kid’s channel’s available for download on your phone, laptop or desktop. 

Past: Kids were not always brought up in a generation of technology and digital apps. Back in the day you could only watch a kids show on TV in the specific time slot allocated in the TV program magazine. Now, the way kids learn nursery rhymes and access new information has changed and this can be both a positive and negative thing, depending on how it’s managed by parents / caregivers.

Future: Technology and the digital age will only get smarter, faster - will kids know what it feels like to play outside with their friends? Or will their friends only exist virtually? It’s up to previous generations to help the new generation find the balance between the digital world and the real world and how they remain connected to their humanity and humanity in general seems like it could become a challenge.

Eric derekson and chase Brody #22 (two miserable people meeting at a wedding. Eric is sad because he hasn’t found anyone to love yet and Chase is sad cause he lost the one he loved (and the kids) and when they come together it’s just the two of them being self deprecating but trying to get the other not to be. Eric is always anxious and talking about how he’s stupid and messed up and Chase is just being a genzkid in an adult divorced body OR IT CAN BE SMTHN ELSE IM NOT FORCING YOU TO DO THIS

It hadn’t started as instant therapy, but somehow it turned into that.

neither of them had been feeling good about anything, even though its a wedding and its supposed to be a joyous time of 2 people proclaiming their love for one another. Specifically Wilford’s wedding, so everything was pink and yellow.

Eric had been walking around the after party, and had accidentally drifted toward the fan. There he met Chase Brody, where that frown did not fit that gorgeous face. Chase felt a eyes on him so he turned and looked at Eric. Eric's face somehow got more red and he looked away rather hurriedly. Chase tapped Eric’s shoulder and smiled when he turned back. God that smile fit in perfectly with that face. Eric blushed so heavily he was confused how there was still blood left in the rest of his body.

“So whats your name Mr. Tomato?” Chase asked with a tease in his voice.

“ummm. i-it’s uh e-Eric d-Derekson duh-dude...” He mentally kicked himself cause he may have just blew his chance with this ethereal man.

“So, Eric Derekson “dude” how do you know the bride and/or groom?” 

“He’s uh, he’s umm a f-friend of m-my dad-d.”

“Oh mood, he was a friend of... of... stacy” Tears start drowning his face, and Eric does the only thing he can do in this situation, he hugs him tight in an effort to help. 

“I’ve.. I’ve lost ev-everything...” chase mumbles between shudders.

“N-no you h-h-haven’t. Y-you s-still have your h-heavenly looks-s!” Eric said and blushed yet again.

The sobs seemed to stop for a second before continuing. “B-but you’re th-the one w-with the goo-ood looks...”

Eric didnt know how to respond to that. He had never been told he was good looking, let alone complimented before, so he had his complete doubts about that statement. 

“N-no you h-have to b-be, im j-j-just a d-dude with n-no legs-s. I’m n-not even c-close to y-your level..”

“B-but you ar-rent the l-living vers-sion of the s-spider-man and-and Unc-cle Ben’s r-rice meme..”

“Wha- what’s a m-meme?”

Chase stops and pulls away from the hug. his eyes and cheeks are tear stained but the tears have stopped. in their place is a face of confusion.

“You don’t know what a meme is?”

Eric did not like that expression, especially when it was pointed at him. he’d seen it so many times, he’d began to ignore it. but this one seemed different. it was pity, but a different kind. like it was something he could do, just hadn’t.

“N-no... C-could you t-t-tell me? Please?”

Chase laughed and oh god, it was wonderful to hear that laugh.
