i have this disease that sometimes makes me lurk twitter for intriguing content. and i havent tweeted in two and a half years; i haven't directly interacted w content in that time either and i used to stay logged out entirely. but nowadays u cant lurk unless ur logged in w an account. and i dont do this on the regular basis; usually when i do lurk, it's for a specific subject (usually related to current events/discourse in pop culture) and its popularity dies down eventually like all trending topics do on twitter. that's how twitter runs after all; it's like a daily newspaper with actually no news just currently relevant small talk. but it's like big talk instead and almost everyone's out of pocket even the people you really like and respect a lot of the time. like that's it that's what twitter's supposed to be, the world's worst water cooler conversation with far too many people to uniquely respect and individualize. i hate twitter. i have this disease where i'm vulnerable to the frailties of human psychology
