something about layla that i dont see a lot of people talk about is just how much her 'sleep' disorder is actually a dissociative disorder.

specifically d.i.d; she has no memory of doing certain assignments, we as the traveler witness the fact that she has another person in her head who basically comes to front anytime they think layla absolutely needs the help, or really when it boils down; anytime the brain thinks they are in danger. the headmate comes out to survive

and yes thats a bit drastic but d.i.d is a Drastic Disorder like that, it affects her day to day life, it affects her sleep schedule it probably affects those around her from time to time

anyways i love her for it so so so SO much and i think if hoyo did try to give her disorder an actual name like we have in modern days; theyd do it badly, so im glad they didnt <3
