Hi !! Asking help to artist here !!

I need to do my portfolio (another one😔) to apply to art schools and I'm freaking out a little because last year I had my teachers to help me but now it's more on my own

(I know I can text them and they'll help me bc they're the nicest and coolest teacher ever but I don't want to ask for their help all the time yk?)

Anyway does anyone has tips or something for me ? For the portfolio in general and what I can put into into it (is that's grammatically correct?)

Like, it's mostly for, graphisme illustration and animation so what can I show that could be interesting and all ? And if you have tips or ressources for me to improve I'll take it too please!!
