Uh oh, a silly little magical girl AU idea I had is starting to turn into one I'm attached too

It started off just thinking about themed outfits for some characters, to how some of the members end up joining, then it turned into slotting a mascot for the team, then the obligatory "normal" person who knows the group's secret, then the powers of the antagonist group...

...I never had personal experience with all the posts here and on r/AO3 that are like "look at me and all my WIPs and AUs that I haven't worked on and keep adding to" since I mostly focused on 1-2 things at a time but I'm starting to understand them now 😭

#h.text #kinda attached to the idea enough that i might even draw up some outfits for the girls #gaaaaaah i didn't want to think of another idea while still trying to work out my simon+lang buddy drama thing lol #that one is on hold a little for now though because i think it'd be best if i finish investigations 2 first #so that i can see the end of lang's story and decide from there where works best timeline-wise (postI2/pre-UR-1 or just do postAA5/6)#so i guess until i finish the last three cases i can daydream about magical girl athena and co :)#investigations 2 is SOOOOOOOO good so far btw #i know that one is a fan-favorite so that's not surprising but it really is great #one thing i really enjoy in both investigations games is the great chemistry among the main cast
