7. Kigurumi

Virgil couldn’t breathe. Trapped the human’s fuzzy pocket, he tried to keep as still as possible. Patton loved these fuzzy things, Virgil remembered. Why had he, Virgil, gone anywhere near it?

Did Patton know he was there?

Probably.

The pocket was tight, and Virgil was afraid he wouldn’t be able to get free without Patton’s help. Because if he tried to get out, he would fall. He would die.

Virgil would have to wait for the human to pull him out. And he hoped and prayed that this human was a kind one, that this human would set him free.
