shouto inevitably ends up following some of touya's patently terrible advice and almost ruins his relationship, but fuyumi catches wind of what happened and intervenes to help shouto make amends.

she then lectures both of them for no less than three hours about respecting boundaries and how to process and express their emotions.

(she also forces natsuo to attend for good measure.)

obsessed w the idea of shouto (early 20s, zero idea of what a healthy relationship looks like) falling in love for the first time and going to his big brother touya for advice because he's been getting weirdly jealous/possessive lately, and their conversation basically being like

shouto: so is that normal?

touya, late 20s and with an even worse understanding of healthy relationships: don't be stupid of course that's fucking normal

(it isn't)

#i'm imagining all three todoroki boys kneeling on tatami mats while fuyumi paces in front of them delivering her seminar #touya: bored and sulking #shouto: earnestly listening but also sulking #natsuo: very confused why he was roped into this but actually kind of intrigued by what his sister is saying #fuyumi goes over to her bag to pull out a magazine she got that day with a quiz on love languages in it #and touya starts quietly scooching towards the door in a bid to make his escape #and she turns around and catches him (obviously) and smacks him on the head with the rolled up magazine #to which he dramatically and loudly complains 'WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THAT??'#'do you have ANY idea what could have happened because of you and the TERRIBLE 'advice' you gave our little brother??' she chastises him #and touya just kind of looks away because he knows she's right (doesn't mean he likes it)#and then shouto pipes up like 'yeah touya this is all YOUR fault'#and fuyumi swats the top of his head too and goes 'well YOU LISTENED TO HIM'#then returns to her lecture while touya and shouto both continue to pout while rubbing the tops of their heads #(natsuo meanwhile is genuinely very excited to find out that his love language is words of affirmation)
