#i might be becoming just a slight hater....#cozy game is becoming meaningless as a genre. like my problem is with marketing not with ppl who enjoy cozy gaming.#i would absolutely call rdr2 a cozy game for example because that's true for me#but as marketers and devs get a hold of the term it's like#why make a good game when we can just make a CUTE game with MUSHROOMS and ZERO stakes#further i feel like alongside video games becoming highly mainstream there's a resurgence in 'gaming = bad'#(and not for girls who are good and do good activities like gardening)#fueled by frustration at inattentive male partners#am i crazy? am i nuts? is this just me? is this just me being way too proximally close to straight people?#m2a
