i've never watched a single episode of it but the outward projection of everyone i see talking/posting about it does paint a very vivid picture of a "blorbo"-ism infecting the fandom. which is like, fine, like, literally have all the fun you want i am (and neither are my personal posts on my personal blog) not stopping you. i just think it's like if those mom shows tried to appeal to people who wear shipping pins on their backpacks & so having really cunty passive aggressive posts about people "not getting it" is very.. you can't sit with us, but the sitting in question is sitting at the losers' table. like it's not experimental art it's not twin peaks it's not prestige television it's literally a copganda-tinged show about hot people. you know?
