frye has no idea how lucky she is. a quick peek outside his cave -- a total whim -- might just be the only reason she'll survive through this storm. yuri doesn't know what led her to him -- maybe that wolfish transformation affected her senses, like his -- but she's clearly not going to make it much further. from what he can see (and it's not much), she looks miserable.

dammit, frye--!

he hurries back inside and reemerges with a heavy pelt, repede hot on his heels. they have to fight against the biting, harsh winds together to reach her, yuri wrapping the inkling up, snug, and repede marching close to supply body heat.

"the hell were you thinking, wandering around in a blizzard!?" he shouts over the flurry. her shaking's on a whole other level, so he doesn't want to consider what might've happened if he hadn't noticed her (there'd be a frye-shaped ice sculpture outside his door within the hour, no doubt).

he jostles her on their way back to shelter, fangs bared in a humorless smirk and a finger poking at her forehead, "c'mon, fuzzball, say something so i know everything's still working up there."
