#frustrated that hawkmoth's acting all triumphant when he couldn't even obtain a single f*cking miraculous on his own

Reflection on mlb S4 finale

I think the saddest thing in the final part of Strike Back was that it wasn’t even Marinette’s fault that hawkmoth got the rest of the miraculouses. Sometimes things will just get in the way of life and Felix pretending to be Adrien was just one of them. An unexpected setback. I do admit that although she trusts Adrien, she shouldn’t have revealed vital information that her yo-yo contained all the other miraculouses since it would be dangerous for people to know where it is, no matter how trustworthy they are. But even so, this isn’t something she should blame herself for. How was she supposed to know that Felix was Adrien? The only way she knew last time in Season 3 was when Felix tried to force a kiss on her cause that was NOT how Adrien would act. But since he put on the best Adrien like facade this time, of course she wouldn’t notice this time due to how hectic the situation was. 

  Also, hawkmoth showing off the fact that he has all of the other miraculouses is like a kid bragging about their A+ on a test that they cheated on by peeking at the smart kid’s paper. Pretty pathetic, considering how hawkmoth had originally lost. If it wasn’t for Felix, he never would’ve gotten the chance to get them anyway. I genuinely hope the kwamis give him a hard time. And when I say hard time, I mean Plagg from Gabriel’s Lament fic hard time. 

(kinda hoping they’ll include a scene of the kwamis pestering hawkmoth for food all the time in S5. It would be hilarious. 

He would be like, “And once I do this and that, I will finally capture Ladybug and Chat Noir’s-!” 

“WHERE’S MY CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSS”

“YOU SAID THERE WOULD BE GRAPES IN THE FRIDGE! WHERE TF ARE THE GRAPES HAWKBUTT!!!”

*groans* “The things I do for power…”

Though, it obviously will be very dangerous now that he has them and since he seems to be more….erratic. Honestly, as soon as the finale ended, I instantly got this vision that the 1st episode of Season 5 will start off with Marinette going to school like any other normal day and getting this strange feeling like something is off from time to time. Then we would find out that hawkmoth turned back time in order to bring back his wife and keep Adrien home, and that created very different circumstances for Marinette and Adrien’s life. Or maybe Marinette and Adrien got their miraculouses taken away from Suhan and tried to make her renounce the guardianship. Or maybe the writers will get their shit together and take this chance to introduce new heroes that will help Paris or idk maybe all the old guardians from the temple would gather together and use their powers to defeat hawkmoth. This whole situation kinda reminds me of quicksilversquared’s ao3 fic, Luka & the Jewelry Heist, cause hawkmoth also has all the other miraculouses in that fic too. I might read it later just to get some relief from that finale.
