I sometimes get lost reading some American posts bc the cultural gap is too big but often times my main shock is how much americans(and other countries like Australia or sweden )are richer on average than 80%of europe and don't even know it.

#like I'm not saying they're all rich or that they are all the kardashians I'm talking on average #and being so disconnected usually whether for distance or attitude or isolation from the rest of the world makes em oblivious of the #differences. let's say use oe6in fandom #youll see less usians say I'm broke i can't afford merch or an album or a show and usually they are poor if they say it #mostly they say well I'll just save this month and then spend money on a plane hotel and 2000$for a convention #if an average European has to pay 50 euros for some ticket you already see them sweating and choosing food over it lol #like when i see ppl saying look at my merch look at all the travels i did for x I'm going y etc i already know they probably are not #from certain places and I'm also...like wow u got money but they say nah I'm a normal person...then what am i
