Felps is a goddamn enigma. He's not on the server enough to be a concurrent member but he's on too much to be considered a non-concurrent member. He's described as just "spawning in" during IRL events. He canonically drove and crashed the ship with the Brazilians that got them on the island. He was reintroduced as a new member the day the September batch arrived (he was not a new member). The admins gave him his own little iceroom recreation at spawn that he woke up in, and made him an official introduction post on the twitter account as part of an elaborately dedicated inside joke. He was the first one to get abducted by the Federation and spear-head the current lore all because he fucked off to Japan for a month. Getting kidnapped is called getting "Felpsed". He got a weird marking in his arm that was never brought up again. His biggest contribution was Festa Junina but everyone knows him for the ginormous square he's digging out block by block (he has threatened to restart the entire project if anyone uses Create to empty the square. No one knows why.) The most significant thing that happened during the France Vidcon stream was the members using Cucurucho to place a block of bedrock in Felps Square before they immediately crashed. The recap video has this
for his stats page. Its all just Felps.

HOORAY MIRACULOUS LADYBUG BUT ROCK STARS!

Ok thought dump time (sorry it's so long):
The story picks up with them in their early twenties. The band "Miraculous" has picked up a small cult following amongst the youths, they play at small local festivals and stuff but they've also started doing their own shows and traveling a little bit around France
Rose plays bass and sings, Alya plays lead guitar and sings, Juleka's on drums
Marinette is the only one that doesn't play an instrument- she wasn't originally part of the band, she was actually just friends with Rose and got invited to sit in on band practice and shyly inserted herself into the friend group by offering to help them with styling and their look and everything. She did costumes and ran the social media accounts.
Marinette does not sing "well" in the technical sense but she has a kind of awesome raspy scream singing style that she's able to pull off. She was joking around the first time she did it at practice, but someone in the band was like "omg wait that's really special and cool you should do it in a performance" and that person was... LUKA! Dun dun dunnnnn
Luka is Juleka's twin in this version (i know canon in mlb flops around on his age) and he and Juleka had originally started the band as a sibling duo, then Rose got involved when she and Juleka started dating, then they held actual tryouts to find a lead singer and wound up with Alya.
Marinette feels hugely untalented but Luka has such strong faith in her that she obliges and starts taking lead vocals, and this is when they really start picking up in popularity. She and Luka start dating around this time too (but it's kind of a thing where Luka is just in awe of her from a musical standpoint and Marinette likes him because he sees value in her. They probably should've just been friends but Oops too late)
Marinette is very much playing a character when she's out on stage, Ladybug, who is much more confident and cool! She's always been really shy and awkward but for the first time she feels accepted by her bandmates and by the audiences!
They have a small but dedicated fanbase and one of the most active members issss ADRIEN AGRESTE famed fashion influencer and lifestyle tik toker! He posts about his daily life in a sort of insidious form of advertising for the agreste brand (his dad is still a fashion designer in this au)
He has this very pure "boy next door" thing going on and he just posts his outfits (which happens to be agreste brand) and daily life as a model and he's also genuinely likeable and charming and so he's a bit of an internet celebrity
But although his posts aim to be very casual and encourage parasocial relationships, everything is sooo produced and has to pass by his father's marketing team and he is so micromanaged he cannot stand it!!! SO in his free time he kind of messes around online and he stumbled across someone's uploaded videos of concert footage of the band Miraculous... and he is hooked
He watches everything he can find and he wants to reach out to other fans and find out more about this band butttt his dad would never allow it :( His fancy son at a grungy alt band's concert? This would ruin the Agreste brand image!
And so he creates a FAKE ACCOUNT and inspired by the animal themed characters of Miraculous, he calls himself CHAT NOIR! and he comes up with his own dorky costume!
And though he hasn't made it to a real concert yet, he's in all of the fan spaces online, he even makes an official discord server and brings people together to chat about the band, and he comments really nice things on all the video uploads. Because he is LONELY.
And the fans are really nice and supportive of his little bandsona and it makes him feel really nice.
So this is all the background... here is the initiating event of where the au story "starts"
Luka leaves the band miraculous (and breaks up with Marinette).
They had mostly been playing around and having fun with things, with a very rock sound and aesthetic, but Luka wanted to get more experimental and more purposeful with their lyrics (more into the punk end of it)
He had started doing his own side project and Marinette had been kind of hesitant about it- basically she was nervous about doing anything that was a political statement because she didn't want to make anyone angry.
They fundamentally clashed, he believed that if you didn't make anyone angry you weren't saying anything worth saying, he saw music as an avenue for activism.
On the other hand, Marinette sees the band as something to entertain people and make them feel good as a distraction from crappy stuff, and also a security blanket/a way to make people like her. She just wants to keep the good thing going so she can feel accepted.
They couldn't see eachother's point of view, they break up and Luka starts doing his side project exclusively.
Marinette starts to worry that without Luka's musical guidance they'll flop, and that the other band members were only including her at Luka's insistence. Will they even want her around anymore? Are they even really her friends?
It's kind of embarrassing, but when she's feeling panicked it really helps to see the nice things that some of their fans say online. So SHE has a fake account that's not affiliated with herself (maybe it's called Tikki or like ladybugfan5000 or something silly) and she joins fan spaces so that she can talk to fans undercover and see what they really think of her (she is a little paranoid)
And while she's scrolling on her fake account sometimes she sees Adrien Agreste videos recommended to her. And maybe she watches some of them bc she has nothing better to do because he does have nice outfits and he's kind of cute or whatever and his voice is really calming so she ends up following him. But surely nothing will come of this (forshadowing).
Anyway. Back in Miraculous fandom spaces, Chat Noir is a big ladybug fan and so she keeps seeing him when she's looking for positive feedback. And she sees how sweet and welcoming he is to others in the fan space and so she starts interacting with him a little bit
Adrien can see that she is following his Adrien Agreste account and thinks this is really funny, and so he starts to poke fun at her as Chat Noir for liking Adrien Agreste. And she makes fun of him for liking Ladybug, which she sees as a private little joke because she is Ladybug
And it's like not a real crush it's very much a celebrity crush moment, but it's like a friendship bonding activity to talk about their celebrity crushes, and as they do they start to get to know eachother better and confide in eachother more... because Adrien is actually going through angst too
"what kind of angst" you ask? HAHAHA you fell for my TRAP! It's time for the asexualification beam of all my fav characters because if nobody will write my ace angst I will have to!!!
ACE ANGST: Adrien had been dating Kagami at his father's request, kind of as an image thing but also they were family friends and he was like I think I have a crush on her so yeah sure I'll date her!
ISSUE: Adrien does not actually want to makeout with her or touch her that much, like he doesn't MIND but it's not something he's really motivated by. Privately Kagami is kind of hurt that he doesn't seem interested in her and communicates this repeatedly but Adrien doesn't really know what to do about it... because he knows he cares about her but not in the way she wants
She breaks up with him and he breaks the news to his dad and Nathalie (who is part of the PR team that works on his videos)
And his dad is very focused on WHY they broke up and it's confusing at first but Adrien realizes that he's trying to figure out if Adrien is coming out as gay, which he absolutely would not be allowed to do publicly
And Adrien is like no no that's not it I like girls I just idk I feel like I'm not liking them in the right way and his dad is like ok great i don't care about this conversation anymore, as long as you aren't going to isolate any of our key demographics for agreste products by being gay i don't care!
And adrien is like :( oh. Ok. Good talk. And he starts thinking like "yeah no i definitely don't want to be kissing boys so I guess that's it and I'm straight totally and for sure and I'll never ruin my father's branding plans so I can stop worrying about this" *smash cut to him lying awake at night worrying about this*
So Basically the themes here are being liked vs being true to yourself. Adrien's Chat Noir sona is freeing for him as it allows him to express himself freely and represents him finding support in a community (oh gee what could this be a metaphor for Huh!). On the other hand, Ladybug is Marinette's desperate plea to be liked. There are some aspects that are freeing but ultimately she's being who she thinks people will want to see. She will have to learn about authenticity and that sometimes to support the ones you love you DO have to make a statement
It's also an exploration of some cool ace stuff I don't see explored often, namely that it is easier to have a crush on someone out of your reach like a fictional character or a celebrity because you won't have to actually ever deal with the possibility of them liking you back and the pressures of navigating a physical relationship.
Adrien starts to fall in love with Marinette on her secret account a little but he's also kinda thinking "would I still feel this way if I knew her in person? What if I only feel this way because she's far away and this is safe..." and then they have to decide if it's worth trying to meet up and seeing if their feelings go anywhere while ALSO navigating being honest about who they REALLY are. Oh mortifying ordeal of being known, the fickleness of emotion, etc
AND ALSOOOO i think examining how queer community can still be so important for hetero-romantic aces. YOU ARE PART OF THE COMMUNITY IF YOU WANT TO BE! Your experience is queer and atypical even if it may not be as obvious to others. I think het ace people are still subconsciously drawn to other queer people in the same way other queer folks experience, but then feel tentative about engaging because they worry it isn't for them. IT IS FOR YOU!!!! An ace relationship is SO punk, you are reconstructing the idea of what a romantic relationship needs and entails and you are stomping all over amatonormativity and it's so awesome I LOVE YOU!!!
Additionally, I think this is a love letter to online fandom spaces and the way that anonymity lets us be more honest with eachother... people are so unabashedly themselves online and that can lead to some really deep genuine relationships forming
My thing is I like this idea too much to tie it fully to Miraculous because I've drifted away from the fandom a lot over the past 4 years that I've spent cooking this up (i still love the concept of the show I'm just behind on episodes and plot), but I'm also not committed enough to execute this story in an original way with new characters. So it's just in this awkward limbo state. Um but yeah... check out my miraculous ladybug rockstar au tag in case i make more and check out the band show-ya for my inspo xoxo
#miraculous ladybug rockstar au#long post#my art#I HAVE THOUGHTSSS i have thoughts#asexual adrien agreste is something nobody else is talking about so i have to#when kagami confronted him about not feeling like he wanted her in the show ACE AF!!!!#i imagine them being an 80s rock band sound i know this is unrealistic however I enjoy def leppard music SOOO that's what i imagine#ml#mlb#miraculous ladybug fanart#miraculous ladybug#ace adrien agreste#adrien agreste#marinette dupain cheng#alya cesaire

Hello, I'm going to condemn you too to listen to me talk about Team Mafia (coughcofShadounecofcof)
Shadoune's real name is Gabriel, he's 28 years old (he just turned November 14), he was born in France in Paris with no family who spoke Spanish and he almost drowned as a child in a pool LMAO
He has a brother eight years older than him, and a sister, his skin comes from the fact that he wanted to look like Herobrine (that's why the H in the middle of his skin LOL) and his name Shadoune originated since his mother in 2006 offered him her brother and he a PS3, and his older brother chose the name, since his brother played a lot of World of Warcraft and his name was Shadoune, he added the 666
He is the second redhead in his family, the first is his grandmother (I think maternal) who by the way studied thermonuclear sciences (I think?) which was very strange for the time, speaking of science Shadoune studied that plus engineering and worked in telecommunications until the quarantine where he began to dedicate himself only to YouTube
The first Spanish speaker he met was RichMC who joined a server where he (Shadoune) was one of the best and (RichMc) beat him, provoking Shadoune's curiosity (especially when he found out that he was a YouTuber), he entered the server where RichMC was celebrating his 20,0000 subscribers and because Shadoune from that moment constantly connected to the server, he met Rubik and Conterstine, and the rest is history <3 (also, he lived with Rubik for a while)
And I don't know, if you want I can tell you the lore of C!Shadoune or/and C!farfadox :b
WAIT WAIT IM GETTING MY NOTEBOOK IM TAKING FUCKING NOTES
*cough* .I would love to hear more anon.

It all started with a Cab.
No, not a taxi. That's the wrong kind of cab. I'm talking about Cabernet Sauvignon. A Bordeaux grape that made it's way to America and is found to grow beautifully in California. Cab Sauv is the baby of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc (both Bordeaux grapes). It's a big, bold, rich, fruity grape that offers high alcohol, high tannin and a full body. It pairs well with steak and also works as a cocktail wine. It's a great way to get into wine for beginners, and for more experience wine nerds it's a great varietal to collect and age. But I'm a little deep in the weeds. Let me slow it down...

Here's the quick story. I have been bartending since the day I turned 21. I had wanted to be a bartender since I was a kid and watched "Cocktail"...who didn't want to be Tom Cruise in that movie? Spinning bottles and making the girls smile and making a ton of money in the process. Who didn't want to move down to the islands and open a place called "Cocktails and Dreams"?
I worked at every bar I could. Dive bars, theater bars, restaurant bars, wine bars. I worked private events and catering events. Never did weddings. The opportunity just never arose. I also worked in a ton of restaurants and a server and a cook. I was a professional actor, which meant I was also a service industry professional. But it wouldn't become my career until around the year 2020. Some big cataclysmic event happened that sent my destiny in another direction. WINE!
But I think we need to start from the beginning.... Wine wasn't a big deal in my family. My aunt would drink Kendal Jackson, Turning Leaf, Franzia. And when I stole some I hated it. At the college parties when Boone's Farm and 2 Buck Chuck went around I understood it was swill and was only going to lead me to a severe hangover or upchucking and ruining the vibes.
When I started bartending, I was in this little dive bar in South Bend. My boss was an older woman who owned the place and I would pour her this awful white wine from a 1 liter bottle. That's all I really thought wine was. Just bitter grape juice with high ABV that I poured for people who had pour taste.
But there just had to be more to it! They wouldn't make movies like "Sideways" if wine wasn't a bigger deal. I had to keep exploring. I would go to the stores and try to find wine that I liked, but it felt like I reading another language. I mean...I was...but even the english words in wine culture seemed foreign and scary. I found a sweeter red wine that I managed to drink a couple bottles of, until I chugged one at a house party and turned the toilet bright purple. That was the end of that. I stuck with mixed drinks and beer for years after.
But then I moved to California and met a girl who would later become my wife. She grew up in a much different way than I did. She grew up in a well to do family, in California with a father who loved the wine world. My wife introduced me to wine by taking me to Temecula and Santa Barbara. I would go visit her parents with her and her dad would bring out bottles of California Cabs that were easy to drink. He wasn't looking to pair the bottle with food, it was a cocktail wine...and that's exactly what I was looking for.
I learned that I just needed to keep exploring the wine world. I still had no idea that I was going to dedicate my life to becoming a Somm. That wouldn't happen for another twelve to thirteen years. At this time I was just enjoying the fact that I was in California chasing my dreams and enjoying what I considered a sophisticated adult beverage. I was growing up and I was very proud to be around people who had more sophisticated pallets than I had.
As a budding sommelier, I don't drink as much California Cab as I used to. Southern Australia, Chile, Bordeaux, Washington state also offer some absolutely stunning expressions of Cab Sauv. But I still get together with my father-in-law and we pop open our favorite Paso Robles Cabs and share in the sense of nostalgia and comfort that these wines offer. He was truly the person who sent me on the path to love wine. He would deny this if you asked him, but it's true.
We went to Paso Robles and Santa Barbara multiple times. Each time I'd learn a little more. I'd watch some documentary, take James Suckling's Masterclass, read an issue of Wine Enthusiast. I was trying to understand this world. It would be a decade before I really got my sea legs and felt like I understood what the wine world was all about. (More on that later.)
I remember going to restaurants watching Bob pour over the wine book. I remember thinking, "Thank God he's doing this. I don't know what any of that means!" He was always trying to learn more about wine as well. The beauty of being a "professional wine guy" is that I am able to take us further down the rabbit hole than we thought we could go. The further down we go, the more fun it is. Having someone on the journey with you makes it all the more fun. My wife and mother-in-law enjoy the finer wines that come from it, though they seem to not be as excited about learning about malolactic fermentation and botrytis.
So, in closing, one question remains unanswered. What was the bottle that made me fall in love? What was that California Cab? It wasn't just one bottle. It was Soul Of A Lion from Dauo. I remember being up on Daou mountain, a light breeze blowing and the sun shining. A glass of the most beautiful Cabernet I had ever tasting resting in my hand standing with my future wife and father-in-law looking over the vines. "This feels like heaven."
Daniel Daou, founder of Daou, aimed to make the best Cabernet Sauvignon possible. He knew that he needed to find a place with the Calcareous Clay soils like Bordeaux. He found them in Paso Robles, CA where he became one of the first wine makers to bring and Cabernet Sauvignon clones. The result speaks for itself. If you ever get a chance to get a bottle, I recommend it. The feeling of that first sip is something I continue to chase. That chase used to be a hobby, but now it's my profession.

Today I decided it will be a good day to talk about a private RP project I’m a part of in one secret TMA server which I share with @the-symphony-of-lydia-brown, @envisionedeternity and @thistlesandstories from our irl friend group and @mersilisk as the guest star and amazing antagonist.
I don’t post much and especially not for The Magnus Archives but I admit the podcast is very important to me. My favourite thing about it is the Regency Harem™️ and the historical episodes. Intertwining the lore with the actual historical events and characters is just amazing.
My irl friends know that I have certain level of interest in military history, and therefore I decided to make a use of it and suggested a plot line for a private RP - a short prequel story for Robert Smirke and young Jonah Magnus meeting. Also, we wanted a Slaughter story because there’s way too little of those in the podcast.
And the background is… The Napoleonic Wars. My beloved @thistlesandstories is a reenactor from that era and therefore they got very excited about the project. The excitement grew contagious and turned @the-symphony-of-lydia-brown into a proper horror DM.
The plot line so far:
Europe, 1811. Napoléon Bonaparte decided to be the problem. Given his notable military accomplishments, the Slaughter just couldn’t leave him unnoticed. After all, the concept of the Total War is born. One day, the Slaughter had came to the young Napoléon and offered him that he would become the greatest warrior of all time. The First Consul of France has agreed.
The Slaughter is rising, therefore it is convinced that the time has come to attempt a ritual. But for a war ritual you sorta need to have two sides, right. There are plenty of “other sides” - and there is one talented general, very dedicated to defending his country. Honourable and skilled man - Viscount Arthur Wellesley, soon to be the Duke of Wellington. Wellington was not having a great time in the Portuguese campaign as his forces were being pushed out by the French, when the Slaughter called to him - offering a victory in exchange for his service. Wellington considered, out of loyalty, he agreed with the nightmarish pact.
The situation improved as now the British and Portuguese army set up an attrition trap with the French falling in. Then guess what - the Slaughter calls again. (The attrition war is usually not exactly Slaughter aligned thing. The soldiers die of starvation, freezing, sickness, which is inherently a corruption thing - The Slaughter wants the bloodbath). Now, the Slaughter has called for a French man again - Marshal Michel Ney, said the Bravest of the Brave, known for his extremely risky approach to the war. An ideal candidate, so it seems . When the French finally retreated and Ney successfully bought their exhausted troops some time by his rearguard actions, the Piper showed up to him, offering him the victory. However, the French marshal has none of that shit and literally tells the War itself to shut the f**k up. Obviously, the Slaughter hates him now.
But now it’s May 1811. Now, time for some historical liberties, yay! Ney lost his command after he disrespected his commanding officer, and his wife convinced him to take a break - therefore they ended up chilling in a little German spa town with their children. The resort happens to be the favourite place of one of the Würtemberger aristocrat Albrecht von Closen. This young man decided it would be nice to invite his British friend Jonah Magnus.
Jonah is very young, he just turned 18, he inherited notable amount of money from his deceased uncle and he has many admirers for his intellect and general charms. However, even now, Jonah is more of a cold academic, a silent observer, with little interest in changing the world. He only wants to know and to understand. And he is just as cold to his companion, sir Barnabas Bennet, who is not really financially stable, but somehow he managed to incite himself to go with Jonah. Barnabas is like a pure opposite of Jonah - hot headed, adventurous and painfully irresponsible.
The last guest to arrive is… nobody else than Viscount Wellesley himself. He has earned a short period of leave and he just picked the same recreational spot as his enemy, Ney. It’s not a coincidence however, the Slaughter is still feeling petty and it wants to ruin Ney for his insolence. The future victor of Waterloo seems to be a good tool for ruining the Marshal’s involuntary holiday.
Oh well. He might not be the last to arrive. There is one more man, who will go down the TMA history - a certain gifted character in his early thirties, working hard on something barely connected to the architecture. Maybe it has something to do with his paranormal obsession. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome sir Robert Smirke!
So yes. The scene is all set. So far it goes very well. Except… it is not.
The disasters are here!
Jonah Magnus seems more interested in Wellesley than in his travel mate Barnabas. Out of desperation, Barnabas decides to finally confess his feelings for Jonah. It went well in his head. He approached the armchair in the lounge, seeing those rich copper curls. He took a deep breath and finally kissed him… Only to realise that Jonah Magnus is not the only one to sport this hairstyle. Red-haired marshal Ney is not amused and his first instinct was hitting the perpetrator right in the face and showering him with list of French profanities.
Albrecht von Closen has really bad feeling about Arthur Wellesley. He is himself a very sensitive and observant man and he disapproves of Jonah’s interest in the famous British commander. It is not the first gut feeling of this kind Albrecht had and he is not exactly sure what to do with that. He meets an unlikely ally - very angry Marshal Ney who is certainly not happy about Wellesley’s presence either.
Robert Smirke found what he was looking for- the presumed Slaughter avatar, aka the Napoleon’s bravest Marshal (please consider that Smirke is a Brit and therefore the idea of future Duke of Wellington as the avatar of the Slaughter is just unimaginable to him). The architect is not exactly a good candidate for a spy and therefore he gets noticed by Ney’s children who decide to take the situation in their hands and reveal the man who keeps stalking their father.
This happened so far. But the plot shall go on because… Enter The Stranger!
The Stranger is still obviously pissed after the Slaughter’s agents ruined their ritual in 1787. So it wants a revenge. And the ideal idea of their revenge is taking the Slaughter avatars one by one and turning them into waxworks. And obviously, their victim is the Napoleons’s marshal Ney.
Jonah Magnus is getting bored of relaxing and he is ready to meet a new friend: the famous Robert Smirke. The man, who will unknowingly bring the Apocalypse two centuries later.
The reasons for posting this is the following:
It’s 255th birthday of Michel Ney! He was originally meant to be a background character, but he sort of stole the show. I might or might not be responsible since I’m the one playing the gingers.
Also, this post might or might not work as a peer pressure for @the-symphony-of-lydia-brown to turn it into a fic 👀
The special acknowledgment goes to @thistlesandstories because we have discovered that somehow we really enjoy fighting with each other after six years of being together. The prequel for Ney and Wellington in Portugal was the best part of this year’s Christmas. I’m still crying for the French officer taken by the Piper though I also love the amount of research it goes into this activity. We ended up with new books on Ney and Wellington.

Cheap dedicated servers in Germany
What Makes Dutch Dedicated Servers Ideal for 2025: Low-Cost, High-Speed, and Reliable?
Introduction: A Surprising Statistic
Did you know that as of 2024, nearly 90% of all global data traffic is expected to be powered by cloud infrastructure and dedicated servers? With the surge in digital content consumption, businesses worldwide are increasingly looking for powerful, reliable, and cost-effective hosting solutions to stay ahead of the curve. Among the top contenders for 2025, Dutch dedicated servers are rapidly becoming a popular choice for businesses, especially those in the United States and Europe. These servers offer a compelling blend of low costs, high-speed performance, and reliability, making them ideal for companies looking to scale their digital presence.
In this article, we’ll explore why Dutch dedicated servers are poised to be a game-changer in 2025, providing excellent value for companies looking to maintain a robust, secure, and high-performing online infrastructure. We’ll also compare them to cheap dedicated servers Germany, another popular hosting option in Europe.
Why Are Dutch Dedicated Servers Gaining Popularity?
The Rising Demand for Affordable Hosting Solutions
In 2025, businesses of all sizes are looking for hosting solutions that balance affordability with high performance. Dedicated servers, which provide exclusive resources for users, have become a staple for businesses that require more control and customization over their hosting environment. However, the cost of these servers can often be prohibitive, especially for startups and small businesses.
This is where Dutch dedicated servers come in. Netherlands-based data centers are known for providing affordable yet high-quality hosting solutions, thanks to the country’s advanced infrastructure and favorable business conditions. With low operational costs and high technological standards, Dutch data centers offer low-cost hosting without compromising on performance.
Low-Cost Hosting: A Competitive Advantage
One of the most attractive features of Dutch dedicated servers is their affordability. Compared to other European hosting destinations, the Netherlands offers significantly lower costs for dedicated servers. With prices often lower than in regions like the United Kingdom or France, the Dutch hosting industry has become a sweet spot for businesses seeking a cost-effective alternative to the more expensive hosting options in Western Europe.
This low-cost advantage is not limited to only Dutch servers. When comparing cheap dedicated servers in Germany, many find the Netherlands a more affordable option for similar performance levels. Thanks to lower taxes, operational efficiencies, and less stringent regulatory requirements in the Netherlands, companies can get better value for money with Dutch dedicated servers.
High-Speed Performance: The Backbone of Modern Business
The Role of Speed in Today’s Digital Landscape
In 2025, speed is no longer just a luxury; it’s a necessity. As businesses become more digital, websites, applications, and services need to load faster than ever before. Users expect seamless experiences, and if a website or service lags, they quickly move on to the next best option. For businesses, this means that speed is a critical factor in user satisfaction, conversion rates, and overall success.
Dutch Data Centers: Speed and Reliability Combined
Dutch dedicated servers are renowned for their high-speed performance, largely due to the country’s advanced infrastructure. The Netherlands boasts one of the best-connected countries in Europe, with an extensive fiber-optic network and data centers located in major hubs like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague. This ensures that businesses hosting their data in the Netherlands can rely on fast and consistent low-latency connections to global markets, including the United States.
Moreover, many Dutch data centers offer premium bandwidth that ensures your dedicated server can handle high traffic volumes without any slowdown. This is crucial for businesses operating in competitive industries where every second counts, and website downtime or slow load times could translate into lost revenue.
Comparing with Cheap Dedicated Servers in Germany
Germany is often considered a hosting powerhouse in Europe, with cities like Frankfurt being some of the most important data hubs on the continent. However, the cost of hosting in Germany can be significantly higher, and while German servers are known for their reliability, they may not always offer the same performance benefits at a comparable price point as Dutch dedicated servers.
In terms of speed and connectivity, Dutch data centers are often more strategically located to access global traffic, especially in terms of transatlantic connections between Europe and the United States. This makes Dutch hosting providers ideal for businesses targeting U.S.-based customers who need fast and reliable connections.

Reliability: Keeping Your Business Online 24/7
Why Reliability Matters
In 2025, downtime is a business’s worst enemy. With more businesses relying on digital infrastructures to operate, any interruption in service can lead to lost revenue, frustrated customers, and damaged brand reputation. Ensuring reliable uptime is a key consideration when choosing a hosting provider.
Dutch Dedicated Servers: Leading the Way in Reliability
Dutch dedicated servers are built with redundant systems and advanced backup mechanisms to ensure that businesses experience minimal downtime. The Netherlands has one of the most reliable electrical grids in Europe, coupled with strict environmental regulations that make its data centers some of the most eco-friendly in the world.
Moreover, Dutch hosting providers often offer comprehensive SLAs (Service Level Agreements), guaranteeing uptime and providing assurances that any downtime will be addressed swiftly and efficiently. With a combination of power redundancy, real-time monitoring, and 24/7 customer support, Dutch data centers are able to deliver reliable hosting for businesses across industries.
Cheap Dedicated Servers in Germany: Reliability Considerations
While cheap dedicated servers in Germany may offer solid reliability, they typically come with additional overhead costs, especially when considering the need for failover solutions and infrastructure resilience. Dutch servers, on the other hand, often provide similar levels of redundancy at a lower cost, making them a strong contender for businesses looking to strike a balance between price and reliability.
Key Features of Dutch Dedicated Servers
Customization and Flexibility
Dutch dedicated servers offer a high degree of customization, allowing businesses to tailor the hosting environment to their specific needs. From hardware configurations to software choices, companies can select the resources and tools that best support their operations. This level of flexibility is ideal for companies that require specialized applications or need to scale their infrastructure quickly.
Security
Security is always a concern when hosting data online, and Dutch data centers are no exception. With strict data protection laws in the Netherlands, businesses can be assured that their data will be handled with the utmost care. Many Dutch hosting providers also offer DDoS protection, firewalls, and encryption services, ensuring that sensitive information remains safe from cyber threats.
Support and Customer Service
Many Dutch hosting providers provide excellent customer support, with teams that are available around the clock to assist with any technical issues. This is particularly important for businesses that operate in different time zones, as reliable support is essential to keep operations running smoothly.
Conclusion: Why Choose Dutch Dedicated Servers?
As we move further into 2025, Dutch dedicated servers stand out as a prime hosting solution for businesses looking for a low-cost, high-speed, and reliable service. With affordable pricing, premium performance, and robust reliability, they present an excellent option for companies in the United States and around the globe.
For businesses seeking a cost-effective hosting solution without sacrificing quality, Dutch dedicated servers offer a competitive advantage. When compared to cheap dedicated servers in Germany, Dutch providers often come out on top, offering similar or superior performance at a lower price.
