I actually don’t know if people will hate if I wrote for jack instead of his characters or not so this will be like a test run or smth.

I listened as Mason and Jack yell on the screen while they get shot at in fortnite. I laughed thinking how stupid the two could be.

When my alarm clock went off reminding me of the cake that was baking in the oven, I grabbed the oven mits slowly grabbing the cakes out of the oven. I sit back down at the kitchen table waiting for the cake to cool down so I can ice it.

After half an hour of waiting I stood up still watching Jack and Mason play Fortnite. I ice the cake doing a poor job at writing ‘Happy 19th Birthday’ on it, I turn off my phone, get candles and my present for jack out and put them in the car.

A little happy birthday hat and a little ring engraved the date when you two became friends which was years ago. You got into your car and carefully drove to his house not wanting to spill the cake all over the floor.

Stopping in front of his house and pulling into the driveway you knocked on the door to have his mom open the door “Y/N HI, YOU LOOK AMAZING” she said you smiled at her his mom always had a special place in your heart.

“Can I go see jack?” You asked her politely as she stepped to the side. You took off your shoes walking towards his room, you knocked on his door hearing shuffling and saw Jack at the door.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY” you yelled showing him the cake you baked “OH MY GOD THANK YOU” he said smiling he grabbed the cake and placed it on his table giving you a kiss on the cheek.

“Come here” he said pulling you onto his lap and kissing your neck “Jack, stop please” you said laughing as he scoots closer to the desk “nope not stopping” he said “wait ow, ow” you said as you felt the edge of his desk dig into your back.

Would eventually get too tired to bother, settling down on the couch and yechan snuggling up to him like a heat pack once he gets sleepy too

When you wake up, the house would already be clean because he woke up early to silently clean while everyone snoozed

Does the most stupid stuff during parties

“Watch this, guys!!!!” *hurts himself, makes a mess, or breaks something* (or all of the above)

Would bring way too many snacks, I'm talking every flavour of chips, every kind of candy, crackers and dip. Just “wanted enough for everyone” but leaves you with 10 open bags of snacks to fit somewhere in your pantry

At the end of the night, everyone's trying to fall asleep and in the midst if the silence, a small “...you guys still awake…?” echoes through the room

Because he's the last one asleep, he'll be the last one awake. You'll be dumping a cold bucket of water on his face at 1pm

The one sporting a party hat and popping party poppers in everyone's faces all night

Outshines everyone singing happy birthday (that elephant from sing style, iykyk)

Would start a dance battle with anyone and everyone (eventually getting so incredibly humbled by hunter whipping out the b-boy floor spins and backflips)

The one sneaking an extra slice of cake in the middle of the night before snuggling into the arms of seeun, him confused about how he got there in the morning but not mad about it

Definitely the life of the party, that's something everyone can agree on

Would somehow hurt himself even if he wasn't doing anything stupid like sumin (stubs his toe while dancing and falls to the ground sobbing in pain)

Sings along to the music WAY too loud, like louder than the actual music itself

Does all those old people dance moves like the sprinkler or just does the stanky leg for hours (pulls out the fortnite emotes he has memorised for the dance battle because he thinks they're good)

Is super picky about which slice of cake he wants, like wants the perfect amount of frosting and the perfect ratio of toppings (seeun decides that he just gets cake smashed in his face to make him stop talking)

Would be like the birthday gift Police, “Oh what'd you get them? Hmm not good enough…” even though his gift wouldn't even be that good (you love him anyways)

Junghoon:

The one always in the corner alone or on the couch on his phone while everyone is having fun together

Have to take his phone from him to get him to socialise but once he is, he's eating everyone up at the dance battles

Would pass out on the couch super early so everyone would end up with cute sleepy pics of junghoon on their camera rolls (they'd be lucky if they didn't get their phones broken in the morning)

Would have the biggest slice of cake (you can't convince me otherwise) and devour it like it's nothing

You'd be a little down about his attitude, thinking he doesn't wanna be there, then he'd come up to you while you're alone and give you his gift, telling you happy birthday in a shy voice with a small smile

Seeun:

The LOUD one, screaming at everything, laughing way too loud, messing around with sumin after bedtime

Would try and copy hunters moves during the dance battle and forget how tall he is, kicking a hanging light or the TV and standing like 🧍‍♂️ afterwards

Would give you the most insanely bone crushing hug while telling you happy birthday

If you're younger than him, he'd joke “how old are you this year? 12?”, if you're older, “DAMN YOU'RE ANCIENT?!?!?”

He's absolutely the type to treat you like royalty on your birthday though, acting almost like a bodyguard if anyone comes too close while you insist he stops

Yujun:

Genuinely the most excited for the party, putting amazing effort into his gift, outfit, and snacks he'd bring

Would immediately get smothered by the others as soon as he arrived, them thinking it's so cute that he put in so much effort for your party and teasing him that he has a crush on you (him insisting with a cracking voice and red cheeks that he doesn't)

Too shy to join the dance battle but would get pushed in by seeun and he'd actually blow everyone away (my main dancer 🩷)

Seeun would actually be obsessed with him all night, let's be honest (my bestiesss) Would have you wondering whose party it really is, yours or yujuns

Would knock out on the floor and get many “awwww"s and pics taken

Hunter:

Shows up overdressed, and when the others make fun of him he'd just reflect with “at least I don't look like the discount section at target”

Would also bring the most expensive gift and have everyone else feeling insecure about their gifts

Showed up with a whole plate full of gourmet appetisers (he's literally a birthday party try-hard, tell me I'm wrong)

Like I said, destroys everyone in a dance battle (try-hard v2) while claiming he “didn't even try that hard”

He'd be the last one awake with you and would make fun of them with you that he loved showing them all up just for funsies, then he'd wish you an actual sincere happy birthday

Despite the sincereness the night before, it's a 50/50 of whether or not he's still there when you wake up in the morning 💀 (bro has things to do)

The mess maker, spilling his drinks on the floor every two seconds and always forgetting where he put them anyways so he'd just go back and get a new one (you'd be confused as to why there are 30 plastic cups around when there's only 11 of you

Would scream “FOOD FIGHT!” and throw a piece of cake at minjae, only to be tackled by him immediately with everyone laughing

Snuggled up to junmin, making him jump away from him as soon as he wakes up

Would rap happy birthday to you, weirdly impressing everyone with it

The only one with a chance at showing hunter up in the dance battle (ended up doing a high kick and kicking him in the face making him fall to the ground, but everyone counted that as a win and cheered)

A new Mirror Fluff ref finally! In time for artfight too!

Not too many big changes, just updated the hat and the needles Mirror Fluff carries around with him! I didn't feel like changing anything else- he already radiates cringefail.

A bit more information/notes below:

-Like I've mentioned, the hat and the needles were basically the biggest changes I've made. The patterns on the hat were always something I thought could be fixed, so this time, I went with patterns that held lore meaning! Specifically, patterns from Patch Land! Treat Land's pattern is the most vague because he despises cake.

-The needles were changed because of updated lore. I had this design choice for a while now, you could possibly notice it in this set of doodles. Only Mirror Fluff and Shadow Kirby know why the bandages are there.

-Before the Mirror version of Yin-Yarn took over Patch Land, Mirror Fluff looked a lot more like the original Prince Fluff. It wasn't until Mirror Fluff revealed his alliance with his creator that he begun wearing the hat.

-Mentioned it on the previous ref sheet, but the crown with the hat was originally Mirror Fluff's dad's! He stole it after his father disappeared.

-Also, yes, those eye bags are still drawn on. And he still plays fortnite.

Mirror Fluff's birthday is in less than a month, and I hope I can get something done! I am surprised that I consider this guy an oc now.

Fortnite mains

Having a main on Fortnite is something special, loving and caring about a skin that has little to no story and yet playing as them everyday really is different than the normal fandom brainrot experience

And today I want to talk about the character that was my Fortnite main

This is Sig

He was introduced on Chapter 2 Season 2, the Spies! Season (known to be the Midas Season and one of the best season)

I have NO IDEA why I started liking him, looking back at his design, he is pretty boring(? Nor even handsome, I do think his model was used for more skins(? Maybe to ones with the face covered. But as you can see looks weird

I really don’t remember why I just connected with him, not even with the first time he came on the item shop, it was later because I remember I waited for months for him to come again, and man, the day I bought him, since that day I used him non stop until I quit playing fortnite on chapter 3 season 3

Naturally, I also drew him a ton

And a lot of things happened since then, I created lore for him, I named him (his name is Sig, in my head his whole nickname was “Signature” and his real name was Edén)

I remember I used him to roleplay, which was what really made me create a deep story and give him characteristics. For example, I explained his white hair and skin by him having albinism (which is not that creative lmao) I also explained that he is always wearing dark glasses because his eyes are very sensitive to light, he was mainly a hacker. And probably one of the most important things I HC for him is that he loves frogs

This was before Fortnite added animals, and when the animals came on the Primal season I WAS SO DAMN HAPPY LMAO

So then, that I made this drawing of him as a frog

And I continued using him, playing with friends, having fun, all while I was going through some hard stuffs on my life (pandemic included)

So Sig really became a HUGE comfort character for me, it’s probably the character that I’ve feel more comfort with, and when I think about him to this day, I still smile by just remember the good times I spend while wearing him on Fortnite.

Of course there was some shitty things happening (like people calling him one of the ugliest skins hfjfh. I mean, kinda) but honestly I don’t care anymore haha

At the time I was so pissed tho, but I understand now.

When I had my 20 birthday I even asked a frog to be drawn on the cake, and it was because of him. I don’t have a pic of that, but that happened fr.

And another important thing about Sig is that he was actually the character I used to learn how to draw nsfw and suggestive stuffs, which to me is REALLY important, cuz this might sound crazy but learning that helped me improve my art an insane amount (just think that at the time I didn’t practice much naked human figure. And when I started doing so, my anatomy learn when to a peak. Yes, drawing nsfw helps with learning anatomy)

So he was also important to me artistically speaking

And while writting this I just realize how important he really was to me in so many ways, and for a character that only has a name and one stupid sentence for description, that is…

Crazy

At last, when I was stepping away from fortnite for personal reasons (and also because my switch was dying) I really wanted to keep Sig in some way

So I made this character, which is clearly based on everything I did with him so far

His name is Caesar, he is a frog

And he was going to be just that, but after all this and him carrying everything that Sig means to me. He is not just a frog character

He is my sona, my second sona to be exact, being the first one The Vicepresident

And that’s the story of how a fortnite skin became so important to me that I made them an actual original character

Right now, playing fortnite again… it might sound weird, but I don’t use Sig anymore, it doesn’t mean I don’t love him anymore, I still do. But his period as my main skin ended years ago, and I don’t want to ruin those beautiful experiences I had with him back then

That’s why he was my main, and now, I’ll wait for other skin to come and be my new Sig.

Wow, I don't think I did too many activities outside this year. I can't think of the right word at the moment, but I'd love to just continue to engage and meet new people in community spaces online. I know I want to continue playing games with people online, which has been huge for me this year, and there's always this little happiness in my heart where people's just like "omg I finally get to play with Key" even if I'm terrible like whaaaaa?!?!! 🤪. Ah, so the actual day of my birthday I had work (It was still within my 90 days you know how it is... gotta show I'm a dependable employee and gotta get thar bag, man 🤭) so I did my shift and my mom actually got me some flowers, a balloon, and a cake that was sweet. I ended the night, actually playing fortnite with some friends, and of course, the sweats were on but I ended up carrying us to a victory royal with my 3 kill lead (not really but I can dream) and that was that. So, the actual weekend, me, my sisters, and brother just went out to eat, and of course, I got a drink, so I was feeling pretty good after that 🤣. So yeah, I lived it up for my 24th, Ig.

19. What’re you excited about for next year?

I'm excited to see what it'll bring and, of course, how I'll grow and be a better human being. I just want to make myself and my family proud, gonna give it my best. Very similar to #11, I'm excited to share the stories once I finish them cause I've gotten so confident and comfortable with just sharing stuff online, and I just have so much stuff I wanna write. Ooh maybe some new shows, movies, and games that'll come out this year that will pull my interest.
