Finished Violetta season 3
Idk how to feel now that i have no content left to watch (outside of the reunion special and movie that I consider non-canon), this is my comfort show and to have it gone kinda sucks
I guess some thoughts on season 3 as a whole:
Still my least favorite season, but it wasn't bad like I remembered
Gery and Clement feel like such pointless additions who would've been better off being one-off antagonists for like 10 episodes at most.
The Milton plotline is genuinely so stupid and forgettable. Once he's gone at the halfway point and he's nonexistent, it feels like "why did we waste so much screentime on him?"
Vilu and Leon should've been together the whole season, facing barriers in their relationship but never breaking up. The season was at its best when they were together, and it's genuinely so fucking annoying that they were together for the longest amount of episodes in season 1 over season 2 and 3 when Tomas was still a thing.
Fuck the whole Roxy storyline, it was so aggrivating
The side couples' plots were kinda boring imo. I like Naty and Maxy but their storyline was a bit blah. Diego and Francesca have telenovela drama and then just kinda exist in the show it feels like. Broduey and Camilla's relationship was super boring imo.. I'm not very interested in Federico even if Ludmila was super interesting this season. And I don't even care the slightest about Gery x Clement, Pablo x I forgot her name (though Pablo deserves to be happy after losing Antonio), or Nicolas x Jade. All are actual screen waste imo
Angie and German are hard for me to root for bc he and Maria were together when she was a little girl? Even if she's like 30 in the present, the whole knowing her back then aspect ruins any interest in the relationship for me
I actually thought the Andres love doctor plotline was kinda funny, and it matches how so many queer people in my life are amazing at analyzing others' relationships but struggle with finding relationships themselves
Ludmila's development was definitely the highlight of the season, but I don't think it's enough to carry the season
The whole "new kids in the studio" plotline was cool for giving Maxi his career development story, but the characters were weird. It was weird how one of them was played by an actress in her 20s and was set up as Andres's love interest, only to suddenly leave, Meanwhile, the rest were just children who looked younger than the studio students we saw up until that point (being like 12-15 instead of 17-18)
The last few episodes felt so rushed through with a ton happening, which was annoying considering how much the conflicts dragged on throughout most of the season
The show is still my comfort show bc I love the characters (most of them) so much
I'll definitely watch Soy Luna soon, and I'm excited since it'll be my first time watching it. But it probably won't be until a while into 2024. I work 12 hours a day 4-5 days a week, and I think I'm going to watch stuff that's lower commitment for now. Plus, I have a massive game backlog. My free time is super limited
Thanks for reading my thoughts while I rewatched Violetta! I don't know what I'll post about moving forward (definitely Soy Luna but that might not be for a hot minute), but it was nice to interact with everyone! I hope we can continue!

Hey everyone, I kinda dropped off again didn't I? Yeah I'm really sorry about that.. I'm realizing I tend to go through different phases of doing certain things and forget to let others know >>;;
Well I'm hopefully gonna try getting back into things or at least get through my huge backlog of reblog going things for my queue. I've been talking a lot with family and my gf on my regression and I think we're making a good breakthrough on me being more comfortable on using my gear around them all <:3 since before... stuff that I won't get into happened awhile back that made me not use my stuff as much as I wanted too. But! That's in the past and I want to try getting back into using my gear again ^^
I'm going to update now where I've been, mental stuff ofc always is an issue but not everything has been bad! My gf and I have been playing through every single mainline Pokémon game! So far we're now playing through PKMN colosseum and we're both having a blast playing through it c: I diiiiid try to shiny hunt the Dunsparce but learned to try to do it later ^^; plus my old GameCube started acting up.. so that was scary. I took it apart and gave it new thermal pads and cleaned it, that was very easy! Turns out it was my old controller causing the problems <XD well at least I refreshed my old GC c:
We completed the remake of Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door and LOVED IT SO MUCH 💙 I seriously forgot how much I love Paper Mario as a whole and DOOPLISS OMG DOOPLISS 💙💙💙 I used to love him a lot as a young teen and maaaaan he was wonderful in this remake!! His lil voice was perfect for how precious he is 🥹 He is literally so baby... ofc I say this without referring to anything agere related buuuuut then my baby brain got to working and I'm regressing with him now lmao. I always saw him being young mentally, like around 15 while his bio age is a mystery ( idk how Dooplighosts age ) and since he partners up with Flurrie in the end I see after a few years of being acting partners and them bonding, I see Flurrie being a mother like figure for Doopliss, and being a semi cg to him when regressed c: I'll talk more about this in another post
I'm going to try drawing again and get back into that small series I started where I draw all the cookies I see as regressors, as well as get to alot of other ideas I have. Other than that I'm mostly doing alright? Just trying to get by each day but thankfully my wonderful girlfriend and mom have been helping me a lot <:3
Hopefully soon things can change here and become active again.. but until then I'll hope to see you guys again later c:
Thank you for reading

🤯✨🤲💞
🤯 What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?
all of them no but genuinely, like, slice-of-life, coffee shop-like aus, curtains fic, etc -- i am not good at making everyday things interesting. it's probably why i end up writing a lot of angst; if i'm deep in a character's feelings, i don't have to reveal how shallow my perception of the Real World is. a lot of my longfic suffers between like, actual Events Occurring. the pace drags; the energy vanishes. i try to take a quiet moment and it just... rarely works. but the stories need those so i keep plugging away hoping i'll be a real boy eventually!
✨ Give you and your writing a compliment. Go on now. You know you deserve it. 😉
weh. ok um. i think i write complicated characters and complicated relationships really well. i don't mean like the Problematic Ones-complicated, but even when i was mainly writing shassie or shelnard. i took what canon gave me and expanded my personal understandings of those characters (admittedly with help from some dear friends c: ily) that made actually writing them give more depth to relationships that have the potential to be p shallow.
even when i'm deep in an au, i know where the strings are to pull to keep a character true to themselves, which makes the changes in their personalities/experiences hit harder because you can see the shape of the canon character shining through.
🤲 Would you please share a snippet of a wip?
ye, here's a preview of chapter 2 of My Lady of the Letters
In the late 18th century, buried in the depths of a Budapesti newspaper, there appeared a personal advertisement which, roughly translated, read:
“Foreign woman seeks diverting company with whom to discuss pleasures both grand and mundane. Good humor a must; knowledge of the arts preferred. Men seeking eventual matrimony should look elsewhere.”
For the first time since Crowley’s temporary relocation to a miserable, wintry Hungary, a sharp laugh broke through the frigid sneer that had taken up near-permanent residence on her face. She forgot for a moment about the snow that came up to her knees and the small, ultimately-pointless task Hell had given her, tracing her thumb under that last sentence. It spoke of jaded experience and bitter annoyance, each letter chosen carefully and paid for to drive off meddlesome men who looked to make a wife out of any woman who hadn’t yet turned them down.
It tickled at the back of her mind over the next few days. Crowley didn’t make a habit out of making casual human acquaintances, but why not this once? She was easygoing for a demon, and she knew more about art than any human alive. She certainly wasn’t going to bother the poor girl about marriage. Why not make the months she’d spend in Budapest a little more interesting?
Crowley wrote a letter, and when she sent it off, she knew that all other responses would be lost in the post.
💞 Who's your comfort character?
oh, aziraphale. i just think he's neat :3
tho if you go back through my fandom backlog, you can def pick out that there's one in each fandom bc they're the ones i'm meanest to skdfjksdd lassie, leonard hofstadter, michael bluth (i just typed michael butch someone end my entire life), chris argent, quentin coldwater, tomas ortega; if i whump them and/or bully them, it is bc i am spiritually holding them like a teddybear.
thank you!!!

-Stream Update-
Dec.2,2023,
First of all, thank you for the notes, follows and blazes? Incase you don't know. I'm pretty new here so I appreciate it. I'm not sure how everything works, yet, but I'm assuming it's all good things lol 😅
Moving on..
I ended up streaming Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth. I forgot that it has some mature content, like blood. It's not too graphic, so far. I have yet to finish the game, but the little that I did play, the game didn't show too much.
Haha. Yes, I suck at Ninja Gaiden. I streamed some of that, but that's not what I wanted to share about today. I'll be honest, I don't know anything about KF: Pillars of the Earth besides the little that I have experienced so far. Since, I had planned to post and update. I decided to do research and then share it with you.
The game is a point-and-click adventure developed and published by the German studio Daedalic Entertainment. It's based on Ken Follett's award-winning 1989 novel of the same name, which was adapted as a video game across 21 playable chapters. The story takes place in the 12th century in England: In a time of poverty and war. A small town begins the construction of a cathedral to claim wealth and safety for its people. In their struggle to survive, lives and destinies intertwine. Which tells me it's going to have some sad moments. It retells the story of the village Kingsbridge in a whole new interactive way. Play as Jack, Aliena and Philip and change the events of the book through exploration, decision-making and dialogues. Philip ,the monk, becomes prior of the small abbey of Kingsbridge. At the same time, a boy called Jack is raised in the woods by his outlawed mother. His apprenticeship as a stonemason paves his way to become a gifted master builder. Together with the disgraced noblewoman Aliena, Jack and Philip begin the construction of one of the greatest cathedrals England will ever see.
Now, I got this information from Wiki so I'm not sure how accurate it is. Book 1 of the game was released on August 2017, then Book 2 in Dec of that same year, after that was Book 3 on March 2018. The game has been around for a few years.
I also came across this website that talks about something I usually don't ever think about but will be keeping in mind next time I'm doing research. The link mentions that the game is about 14 1/2 hours in length when you focus on main objectives BUT if you're a gamer that strives to see all the aspects of the game then you'll spend about 19 hours to obtain 100% completion. Which ,to me, sounds like the game is very well worth what I paid. Although, the thing I noticed is that the website doesn't include are the stats for the switch version even though it says it was updated 1 day ago. Speaking of the switch version. You can get achievements and view them in the menu. Go to the menu you scroll down to Options->Extras->Achievements.
What drew me to this interesting medieval adventure story was the trailer itself. I think they did an awesome job. The game does have voice over with the special appearance by Ken. Which I think it's cool I'd love to do voice acting.
A story for another day...
I was able to immerse myself because it's such a beautiful game with an amazing story but it does seem like it is more of a visual novel than an adventure game. So far it doesn't have any puzzles which honestly I'm totally ok with. The voice acting was great! I do wonder how much of the story can be changed or if at all.
I'm sure the pc version is much better. Damn, I knew I should've waited and checked on steam first. Oh well, I got the game while it was on sale for like $2. I haven't had any issues per se but the one thing that has stood out to me,so far, is that their mouths at times move first before you hear the character talk or they continue to move after they are done talking. I'm not sure if it's on my end that the character's voice is out of sync or not.
I'm going to guess and say no only because I know via other reviews I've watched on youtube say that certain games are just not great on the switch. Mineko's Night Market game for example. The loading time was pretty bad. I'm not 100% sure if it still is or not, sorry. If you are thinking of getting the game, do what I should've done and do some research first and go from there.
Anyway, the out of sync is not a deal breaker for me but how do I describe this..it's a little annoying or weird? It's just hard to ignore at times, you now? lol In my research I found out that there is also a board game, and a 8 part miniseries that premiered back in 2011. It starred Eddie Redmayne, Hayley Attwell and Donald Sutherland.I wonder if it's good? Not going to lie,I am curious about the story. As you know, the books are usually different compared to their adaptations. We'll see once I'm done with the game.
I'll update this post once I have fully completed the game. Til next time! Happy gaming! <3

Last Line Tag
I have so many of these backlogged, lol. Seriously, it's ridiculous. But I'm going to use them as motivation to actually get some proper writing done again, so I'm saying it's fine!
Tagged several times by the wonderful @winterandwords, thanks!! Because you've tagged me a few times, I'm using that as an excuse to post a slightly longer thing. This is unedited and whatnot, but I love the contrast of timid, terrified Ailin at the start who thought power was about fear and control, and Ailin here at the end.
Last thing from Deathdancer! This is part of the final confrontation with Jevesh (the mastermind of the plot) and Orvon (the assassin Jevesh hired that Ailin just turned against him with the power of Evidence)
Not entirely sure why, but unable to help it, Ailin stepped inside. The wagon shifted slightly with her weight, and Orvon barely glanced back before turning his full attention on Jevesh again.
“You,” hissed Jevesh, eyes bulging for an instant at the sight of her before he got his face back under control.
“You weren’t lying,” said Orvon, quietly, not looking at her.
“She was,” hissed Jevesh. “She is! She’s playing you! She’s gotten inside your head, twisted it all up with politics and ploys. This is why I point your blade, man! To avoid these sorts of schemes muddling your thoughts!”
He was desperate, all the effort of a scream held in every whispered word. Ailin couldn't blame him. She'd faced down Orvon's sword before. They all knew Jevesh was staring his own death in the face.
“You think a sword is all it takes to kill people,” said Orvon, his voice flat, empty as a desert horizon in the night. “You think I don’t have to consider the politics of it. You think I don’t have to know how every little world works before I walk through the cracks no one else can see. You think I don’t need every bit the intellect you do.”
Jevesh licked his lips once, back ramrod straight, hands curling into fists. Ailin took a slow step forward, then another, moving along the edge so she could see the side of Orvon’s face. It was as terrifyingly neutral as his voice. He may as well be a nameless clay model, made by some artist so skilled in anatomy they forgot that emotions existed.
“I am cheating Hazarys themself,” Orvon breathed, "Taking life before time decreed it. You think that could be done by a simpleton, Jevesh? Do you think you alone could defy a god?”
Jevesh’s eyes darted to Ailin, almost pleading. Orvon followed the movement, and glanced at Ailin.
“Why did you follow me?” he asked. “You know how this ends.”
“I know how you plan it to end,” Ailin shrugged, chest aching, muscles cinching around her lungs with the shear audacity of what she was doing. “It’s not the same thing.”
“And how do I plan it to end?” Orvon raised an eyebrow.
“Death.”
Jevesh shuddered slightly, the authority in his stance rapidly falling away now, shattering into fear.
“You can’t save everyone, girl,” sighed Orvon. “I’m not sure why you try.”
“And you can’t kill everyone,” Ailin countered. “I’m not sure why you try.”
The ghost of a smile twitched the corners of Orvon’s mouth. He shifted a half-pace aside, letting Ailin move forward to fully face Jevesh.
She stepped up slowly, infinitely aware of the knife still hanging in Orvon’s right hand, but her timesense stayed still.
“I’m not here to help you,” Ailin told Jevesh, quietly. “I’m here to arrest you.”
“As if,” he scoffed, all bluster and bravado and blatant terror. It made her stomach twist, guilt winding between her ribs, pressing painfully with every breath. This isn’t power. It never had been.
“Which would you prefer?” asked Ailin. “That I leave you to Orvon’s version of justice? Or that I take you to face the full might of the city you’ve wronged?”
She could give him that choice. Death or capture. Maybe it wasn’t much of a choice. Maybe it was the farthest thing from mercy she could offer a doomed man. But it was all she had left.
Because however it ended, it ended today.
“Why do you care?” asked Orvon, frowning at her. “You have the chance to get justice against the root of all your problems, and you cast it away?”
“What you’re talking about is revenge,” said Ailin. “And what I’m talking about isn’t justice.”
Both men stared at her. Jevesh had almost stopped breathing, eyes wide and unblinking.
“You tried to ruin so many lives,” Ailin met his gaze. “This is just an answer to that. One of many, I’m sure. But that isn’t revenge, and it certainly isn’t justice. Just one of many solutions. Make your choice.”
I tag (no pressure!!): @akindofmagictoo, @thegreatobsesso, @avrablake, @papercutsunset, @the-orangeauthor, and open tag for anyone who wants it!
