Falling For You

Got the third chapter up for my third prompt fill! The prompt was falling leaves for the fifth day of AdamsApple Harvest.

Following day five's prompt of falling leaves, Adam and Lucifer get flustered after playing in the leaves.

And here is the usual little sneak peak:

Lucifer was happy to see Charlie getting along with her friends. And, by getting along, he meant Charlie could exclaim, “there’s so many leaves outside, let’s all make piles and jump into them!”, and everyone would gladly agree with her. She did, in fact, exclaim that at breakfast, which was why everyone was shuffling out the back door of the hotel in their jackets, sweaters, scarfs, and boots. Well, everyone except Adam, who lingered at the door with his usual scowl. Lucifer stood beside him, tilting his head. Lucifer was warm by nature and only needed to put on a few layers. Not to mention, he’d become accustomed to Hell’s weather, and the occasional harshness of it barely made him bat an eye. Charlie was the same, and adapted to it even faster thanks to growing up with it.

Bonding Over Pumpkins

When Charlie decides to do a little group bonding over carving pumpkins, Adam finds himself paired with Lucifer.

I am fashionably late to the party (/silly), but here's my chapter for the AdamsApple Harvest pumpkin prompt. You can read it on AO3, but here's a little preview:

Adam watched from the bar as Charlie and Vaggie entered the hotel, his dragon tail lashing when he realized they had pumpkins in tow. “What are you doing? Don’t tell me you’re decorating the place. The last thing it needs is more warm colors,” Adam said, causing Charlie to look over. Her face was as bright as ever, but it was just met with Adam’s scowl. “Well, considering it’s October, we thought we’d have a team building exercise that’s fitting for the season! You’re going to be carving pumpkins together!”

Probably that Adam hates the cold, but that's more a general Adam headcanon that I love using in all my ships with him. That combined with Lucifer being naturally warm though is one of my favorites. Adam wouldn't admit it, but he'd love snuggling Lucifer during the colder seasons. And Lucifer would absolutely tease him over it, but secretly love being snuggled when it's so dreary outside.

Another headcanon I really love is that acts of service is Adam's love language and, when Lucifer realizes that, he'd start doing things for Adam like helping him with daily chores to show that he cares. Lucifer definitely thinks Adam deserves a break after everything he experienced on Earth.

The Jumpy First Man

Based off the prompt for day 19 of Adamsapple Harvest. Vox invites Adam to a haunted house so Adam can have his first official date with Lucifer. Trigger Warnings: Brief and not descriptive mentions of cannibalism, dissections, and skeletons (aka a Halloween fair in Hell being a Halloween fair in Hell).

Didn't think I'd manage to finish and edit this one on time, but I did so yay!

Sweater Weather

Got the second chapter up for my second prompt fill! The prompt was sweaters for the fourth day of Adamsapple Harvest.

Following the day four prompt of sweaters, when the heating goes out in the hotel, Lucifer just might have a solution. (This one was lightly edited so I can get it out on time, but I hope you enjoy!)

Here is a little sneak peak:

Adam would never forget the way the grass in the garden felt. It wasn’t coarse, and it never threatened to prick at his back whenever he lay on it. Instead, it was soft, acting as a cushion.  He could lay in that grass for hours, stretching out and just basking in the sunlight. The garden was always warm and the weather was never too harsh. Even when it rained, it felt like a gentle kiss on the skin. Adam had a favorite spot in the garden, a quiet little grove by a lake. It wasn’t just his favorite though, Adam looking over to see the angel knelt down by the pond.

Pentagram Pokemon

Starting out on their trainer journeys in their mid twenties, Adam and Lucifer discover new things about themselves and make a lot of Pokemon friends along the way. Expect a lot of cuteness and not a lot of Pokemon battles.

In Heaven and Hell - Chapter 10: The Philosophy of Pain

Adam and Vox cross paths again when Valentino going too far lands Vox in the hotel, Velvette claiming she has a business proposal for the princess of Hell herself involving him. Trigger warnings: Vox being gaslit, physically abused, and having his wires pulled out by Valentino. References to Valentino's sexual abuse, in general, and his power over Angel Dust. Emotional manipulation.

Adam struggles to understand the hotel and Lucifer's true intentions, but Vox holds more certainty towards his plan involving Valentino.

Next part of the main AU is out, woooo! This time we see more hints of Adam and Lucifer's past together, plus hotel shenanigans.

A Night For Sinners

Following prompt 29, Halloween Party, of AdamsApple Harvest, Adam and the rest of the hotel conclude October with a bang. Adam reflects on how many things have changed that October and how grateful he feels.
