Got recommended this little Australian show called "Upright" because it has a found father-daughter main plot (thank you Nikki!) and the premise is "a guy is driving across Australia with a piano and he gets into a car accident and his car is done and he doesn't have money for another so he just continues his journey with the 16 year old girl he crashed into and they become so close" (Nikki's words).

And after the first episode I'm rolling on the floor laughing at how unserious these two little shits are. Like two stray cats that keep hissing at each other but clearly can't be separated 😂 They're basically like "you crashed into me so now I'm going to be so annoying you'll have no choice but to love me"

This might just be my new favorite show idk

#the extra thing that makes me love it is the fact that it's Australian #for years I've been hoping that someday I'll get to see my Australian birds Brenton and Teagan work in a homebase project together #and this show feels like it was literally written for them #they're not in it but my gosh I wish they were #and watching this show imagining them in these scenes makes it even better than it already is
