Taking part of Marcelo Hernandez standup comedy literally, cause it’s hilarious, a friend and I decided to take back Taco Tuesday and celebrate MEATLOAF MARTES instead.

We wore our best Old Navy and American Eagle, made Meatloaf and Potatoes and enjoyed our Martes dinner like gringos ( she’s already gringa and she loved it).

As a brazillian I am so so happy that festa junina is getting more known to international audiences.

Whenever people think if brazillian holidays everyone always remember Carnival, which is fine, but festa junina is my favorite (and a lot of people's too).

It's seriously so much fun, has actually good food (unlike carnival), games, you spend time your family & friends, the aesthetics are very comfy and you get to slay in plaid shirts and straw hats. What's not to love?
