been watching the great pottery throwdown with my partner and sister and it just really makes me miss pottery and ceramics so much. there's something ironic I suppose that one of mankind's oldest surviving arts is now something you have to take expensive classes or rent a studio space to be able to do

#bout to go back to basics and make mud bricks in my backyard and fire it in a wood fire #for context also I went to college for and got my bachelor's in ceramics/fine art #and I've wished so much that I could get back into it but there's just not that many studios around where i live #like I'd love to work in a ceramics studio as an assistant or someone who loads/unloads kilns and makes clay like i did in college #or even teach classes to kids or something idk
