got my foobie to work! after opening him up i had no idea where to even start (so much different from a furby) but i wiggled the cogs and cleaned some parts, then as i put him back together i just expected to not get a response, which i didnt at first, but i saw that the batteries i put in were shifting so once i put them in right and held them in place, he woke up!! but before that i had to shake him a bit and i smacked his back a few times, not sure if that helped too or not.
he moves a bit languidly even with fresh batteries but i think that just might be the old parts. not sure what sensors these guys have but he doesnt seem to see light? says he doesnt see me repeatedly. feeding button didnt really feed him and the ear buttos arent working at all, but i didnt solder them on and they were just glued on so thats understandable
soobin choosing to fully read out “soobie boobie doobie woobie foobie qoobie roobie toobie yoobie poobie hoobie” when he goes on live is so soobin actually
