I don't care which slashers/killers you do for this BUT...... May I have some killers hcs meeting their male s/o for the first time? 🥺👉👈
also I know I need to get through what little writings I have planned done and out so I can do these in return and maybe do somethin for ya
I really tried here, I'm sorry if it's not exactly what you wanted. I love these two and I wanted to write more for them. Please let me know if you'd like me to change them at all or if they seem wrong.
Ghostface:
Danny Johnson did not have a tolerant upbringing. His family, despite lacking any sort of faith, was a family built on the foundation that men only slept with women. That's just how it was and that that was how nature had kept things going. When Danny realized he didn't just get hard when looking at naked girls however, life became a lot harder. Literally.
Collage was the escape he needed. He took off and never looked back. Ghosting his family before it was a regular thing. He could finally be who he really was.
The first time he saw you was at a party and he knew something was different. Just introducing himself felt like a life or death situation, he couldn't fuck this up. Some deep part of him needed you to like him, needed you to want him. Danny man not have called it love at first sight but it was definitely something. When you left you took his number and promised to hang out later. You had similar schedules so it would be easy. Right?
You threw a wrench into every plan he'd set in place. All his aspiring affairs with other people died the moment you gave him your name. Your perfect name.
Danny begins every morning thinking about you and would lay down at night with you on his mind till he faded into sleep. Everyday for months you plague his thoughts. Your chill sessions are basically dates in his mind. Even if it's just bumming it on the dorm couches with Mariocart and eating cheap greasy pizza. He cherishes every moment. It has to be more, he thinks, your too nice, too friendly and some of your remarks could be taken as flirting. You're not like this with your other friends. Just with him.
He plans to ask you out but for the first time in his life he's scared by the idea of getting a no. The thought of being rejected by you makes him feel legitimately sick to his stomach. What if he's misread all your signals and your disgusted by his advances. What if you call him all the awful things his old high-school friends did when he came out to them. He needs you to know how he feels, keeping it all in is making him feel anxious.
He was mulling it over in his mind when he got a call, answering it to hear your voice caused a sudden feeling of euphoria within him. "Hey, can we meet up?" Your voice was shaky and you sounded unsure. But Danny agreed right away, assuring you he had the time and was happy to meet up.
You two got coffee together all the time but today there was something more to it. The way you laughed and bumped his shoulder with your fist, the way you smiled awkwardly like you were trying to keep something from him. Danny was getting worried as he looked down at you. "Is everything alright shortstake? You seem off today."
You took a deep breath and looked him right in the eyes. "DannyIlikeyou" you blurted out cheeks red and eyes wide in panic. "I'm sorry I just I couldn't do it anymore," you looked away, "keeping it all in made me feel so awful and I just needed you to know. I'll understand if you don't feel the same way about me and if you don't want to see me again I'll understand that too but-"
He kissed you, right there in front of all of the coffee shop patrons and employees. To his amazement a few people wooped and clapped.
Danny pulled away, he took his coffee in one hand and then your hand in his other.
"Let's go somewhere more private."
He led you to a little pond, there were ducks and water lilies. It was quiet, peaceful, the perfect place to have a heart to heart.
The talk that followed was long and he explained at great lengths how he felt about you.
You confirmed some of the things he suspected, embarrassed by how easily he read you. At the end of it all you were both a bit teary eyed.
"So I guess what I'm trying to say here is, I love you." You did cry after hearing that, so happy and relieved he felt the same way. You kissed him, and he responded in kind, with only the ducks as witnesses this time. They didn't make a peep about the kiss....but they did quack.
Thomas Hewitt:
Tommy knew something was different the first time he met you. You were just a new hire at the meat plant but he couldn't take his eyes off you. The poor thing didn't know what to do. So he just watched. Intrigued by the feelings he felt when he did.
"Good morning Thomas." You'd nod as you passed him to get to your work station. He'd grunt in reply and nod. Happy to see you.
"Hey Tom, lunch time! Thank God for lunch breaks am I right?" Your hand was firm as you passed him, clapping his shoulder. He liked when you touched him, no one ever touched him unless he was also being yelled at. But your touch was different and it was good.
"See ya tomorrow Tommy." You groaned tiredly after a long shift, promising to see him tomorrow. He hoped to see you everyday for the rest of his life.
It was a system, a pattern, it was something Tommy relied on, like a clock, you were on time and followed the routine.
Except this morning, you weren't here. The supervisor was passing by to inspect the work station.
"Where the hell is that freaky bastard at?" He asked pointing to your station. Tommy shrugged, he didn't know, probably the bathroom. "Yeah well you might want to keep your distance, I heard from some the other guys that he's one of them men lovers. If it were up to me he'dhave never come here, but the boss says we're 'short staffed'." The snicker that bubbled up from him was disgusting and he mouthed off a few insults and slurs before walking off to finished his rounds.
Tommy was angry, more than usual at least. He wanted to take that supervisor's head and crush it under his mallet. Instead he stripped his apron off and went to the bathroom. Still a tiny part of him was happy, glad to know he wasn't alone.
The bathroom was never locked, it couldn't be, the lock was broken and building management was too cheap to replace it. So Tommy pushed through the door and listened. A soft rhythmic sound greeted him. Soft uneven breathing, muffled by the walls of the stall. He knew that sound, it was all too personal to him.
He stepped in front of the stall and their sounds turned panicked like they knew they'd been caught.
He knocked on the wood so gently and as it swung open he confirmed his suspensions. Your eyes were red and swollen, a large bruise on your cheek. Tommy saw red as he looked over your generally disheveled appearance.
You were trying to hide the fact that you'd been crying.
"Hey Tommy, what's happening brother? The uh... supervisor send you in here to find me or something?" When you tried to push past him to get to the sinks Thomas stopped you with one big arm.
"Uh you good?" Your voiced trembled and it torn Tommy apart to hear the man he loved so distressed. His big arms pulled you in, holding your smaller body against his massive one. He just didn't care anymore, he didn't care if you knew, or if the whole world knew. People already called him a freak for the way he looked. They were wrong, Thomas wasn't a freak, not for the way he looked or for the way he felt. Neither were you for that matter. When you hugged him back his heart soared. "Thank you." You cried softly, face buried in his chest.
The gentle giant wiped a tear away, carefully as not to agitated the bruise. He grunted and ran his thumb around the edge of the darkening spot.
"Don't worry about that, some of the guys found out about my...well I'm sure you know or have at least heard." Thomas nodded, still holding you. "We should probably get back to our stations."
Tommy was hesitant but he let you go to wash your face and fix your appearance. Things were going to be hard for the both of you. But hard was nothing new to him he was used to fighting for equal footing with others, fighting to get what he wanted always fighting. But this time it really was something worth fighting for. This time it was you.

Inconvenience Store (Dabi X Reader)
A part two to Wet Floor was requested over on my AO3 and they gave me the full liberty of picking what to write as long as it got a part two, so here we are! Feel free to leave a comment/message/ask if y’all have any requests. Like usual, this was crossposted to my AO3.
Wet Floor (Part One)
___
Dabi was back at your little corner store the very next day.
And the next.
And the day after that too.
And soon it became a common circumstance to see Dabi to loiter around the store, almost always leaving you to pay for the noodles he’d be slurping on— usually while he watched in amusement as you’d stock up or clean the store, adding in a “you missed a spot” every so often with that shit-eating grin on his face.
Quitting was starting to sound pretty appealing.
Yet just as often as he’d be here, at your shitty little store— he’d disappear. The first time, he’d been gone for a week and you thought you were free from this mooch, only for you to find him waiting outside the store right as you came in to start your shift. Soon his disappearances were for weeks or even up to a month at a time, and yet he always ended up coming back through those sliding doors with a smirk painted on his face.
Today was one of the days he’d decided he’d bum off the store, seated behind the counter— though you’d told him not to go there countless times and he ignored you each time you did. Huffing, you made it a point to set the wet floor sign down with a loud thunk after you tossed the mop in the supply closet, there was no way you’d let yourself forget it again—  not after the punishment that Dabi himself was. Wreaking havoc on your wallet and using you as his source of meals.
“I’m getting another cup.” You didn’t bother to hide your growl at his words, he had to be eating this much just to spite you at this point— he probably wasn’t even enjoying them at this point, that was his third pack today. Rolling your eyes as you watched him take your water and pour it into the instant noodle cup, this guy really had no respect for anyone or their things did he?
It really didn’t matter that he’d always been there when you locked up, and followed you to your train each evening after you mentioned the gangs you’d passed. It also didn’t matter that despite how you resented the financial strain he was on your wallet, the best days were when he would sit behind the counter with you throughout your shift.
It really didn’t matter.
The beeping of the automatic doors opening smacked you right out of your thoughts; immediately plastering on that customer service smile you’d managed to perfect, despite the foul cursing towards Dabi that was ringing through your mind. “Hello! Let me know if there’s anything I can help you with.” Your hum was largely ignored by the man, and you held in the sigh threatening to bubble out.
Dealing with customers was so fucking annoying.
“Get out Dabi.” He stared at you, only putting his feet up on your stool and slyly grinning at your dismay. Rolling your eyes again, you swore your eyes would stay like that from having to put up with this guy for so long. Pushing past him, you settled yourself at your spot at the counter in front of him as the man came back to the counter with just a beer.
“Anything else I can help you find sir?”
“How about you give me your number?” Beady eyes stared you down, raking their way up and down your figure as if he’d just now noticed you talking to him— you didn’t bother to hide the frown on your face. “I’m sorry, I’m not interested.” It was a bad move, that much was clear, but giving him a fake number wouldn’t work— not as long as he knew where you worked. “The hell you’re not, I’ll ask one time. Give me your number.” It definitely wasn’t a question this time, it had been a threat. Your body tensed up at that, the man easily dwarfed you— hell, maybe his size was a part of his quirk.
Fear was starting to set in.
“Can’t you fucking hear? It’s a no.” A low snark sounded behind you, an arm shooting out in front of you before a lanky body pushed itself between you and the counter. Dabi’s typical slouch now gone, standing tall and staring down the man along the other side of the counter.
“Call off your fuckin’ guard dog babe.”
“I’m no fucking guard dog—”Blue blazed to life in Dabi’s hand, and a sadistic smirk pulled its way to his face. “—but if you get out the damn store, maybe I won’t burn you down to the fucking ground.” The giant of a man stared Dabi down, but the flame-wielder didn’t budge even though the man was easily the size of two of him.
The flame in Dabi’s hand flared brighter, making the man’s eyes narrow to your form that had still been obscured by Dabi. “This isn’t worth it.” He muttered, shaking his head as he stormed out of the convenience store— the flame subsiding after the man’s exit. Letting out a breath you didn’t quite know you were holding in as the man finally left, your posture slumped over. “I thought he’d never leave.” Dabi trudged back to the chair he’d been sitting in— a scowl plastering itself onto his face as he snatched the noodle cup back from the counter he’d left it on, easily replacing that self-assured smirk he had just before that man left. “What’s with you?” Brows furrowed as his chopsticks stabbed the at the cup, nearly poking a hole through the plastic.
Silence.
“Dabi, the hell’s wrong with you?” He’d never been like this before, not here with you at least— he’d always been so stand-offish and even kinda snarky— now it almost looked like he was pouting. “You don’t get to fuck around with anyone else.” He hissed lowly, a possessive glint in his eye. “Especially not with scumbags like that.” You blinked at that, he was just jealous? Dabi had never even bothered to show interest in you, and after all this time all it took was another man (albeit a very creepy and demanding one) to try to flirt with you.
Ignoring how your chest had clenched, you scoffed. “I do what I want Dabi, if I did want to date that man then I would. Unless there’s something you have to say, then you don’t have any say in that matter.” It was the right thing, right? If he said anything, and that was a big if, then maybe things would be different.
Grabbing the beer the man had left behind, you pushed past Dabi to go put it back in the coolers— until a hand gripped your wrist tightly. “Fine.” He stood back up, meeting your eye. “You’re mine.” This wasn’t a question either, but his silence waited for any objections— not that you would give him one. Biting your lip, you nodded slowly.
Smirking, he took the beer from your hand. “Good.” The tab clicked open as he pulled you to his side.
“You’re mine.”

I just found out my boyfriend cheated on me. This may sound silly, but I honestly don't know how to go about this. I'm shocked and disappointed.
It doesn’t sound silly doll. You deserve way better, I’m so sorry this happened to you.
But the first thing we need to make sure of is that you know that this doesn’t define you. Someone else failing to realize your worth is their own personal problem, and it has nothing to do with you, it’s all them.
This “boyfriend” was loud with the disrespect, so you need to reciprocate that same energy. Be bold when you confront this loser. Tell him you know and that it’s over. End it with “lose my number.”
Short and to the point. No begging, no questions. A lot of you give too much power to people that don’t care, so just leave it at that.
It doesn’t really matter “why” or “who”, because that is irrelevant. He didn’t care enough to tell you the truth, so nothing will change now.
I don’t really care what he says tbh, cut him off...delete everything, unfollow, block. You need to immediately detox everything if you’re going to move past this.
And DO NOT get a rebound. You’re going to need to take a lot of time to yourself to remind yourself who you are!!! You will need to repair yourself in order to avoid depending on someone else to remind you who you are. From now on, you’re your own cheerleader. This will take more than a few months if you want to do it right. You’ll want to work on the trust issues that will follow.
Like I always suggest, journal your feelings, pamper yourself, take time to yourself, play that baddie playlist, give yourself a makeover and do things for YOU on your own terms and steal your power back.
Have daily affirmations! “I am beautiful and worthy, other people’s shortcomings are not my problem.” His failure to appreciate you is not your issue.
Never let anyone be in control of your emotions. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Don’t give your energy to this bum!
Grieve the relationship, allow yourself to feel, then get yourself together and take that pain and turn it into gold.
You’ll be surprised how much better you are without him.

Teen Wolf preferences...
How you meet: (part 1)
Stiles:
Your P.O.V:
I was sat at home bored out of my mind not knowing what to do, everything just seemed to bore me no matter what I did, but what do you expect a new girl in town to do when she has no friends. Finally, I decided I'd get dressed and go out and explore the town they call Beacon Hills.
"Mum, Dad, I'm off out... I'll be back later." I said.
"Ok hun, be careful!" My mum spoke in her usually soft tone.
"I will do, I love you." and with that, I was out the door. All I did after that was walk and walk for ages, there didn't seem to be much in this little town and in my opinion that's a pretty good thing, I rounded the corner and umphhh.
"Woahh." and with that, I was sat on the ground, urgh my bum hurts, that was so painful... Anyway, I look up to see how I could have managed to fall on the floor, I mean I know I can be clumsy and all but not the point I literally turn around and land on the floor for nothing. So, when I looked up to see how it could have happened, I notice a young boy around my age staring down at me, huh... He's kinda cute, his buzz cut hair, sweet smile, deep brown eyes which I could instantly get lost in...
"Are you gonna help me up or keep staring at me as you've never seen a girl before?" I spoke a little different than I usually do, but can you blame me, he wouldn't stop staring...
"Uhmmm, yeah, y-yeah... Sorry, I w-wasn't looking where I-I was g-going. Sorry." he spoke quietly, he seemed to be a little scared. Hmmm, I wonder why? He held his hand out and pulled me up towards him in which caused me to fly up and collide into him, either I was a lot lighter than he thought or he was a lot stronger than I thought...
"Errrm, thank you... My names (Y/N), nice to meet you." I felt a lot more confident and relaxed when I spoke to him, unlike any other boy I've ever been around...
"I-I'm Stiles, Stiles Stilinski... Nice shirt by the way..." (You're wearing a Batman shirt.)
"Errrm, thanks... Well, I gotta go, It was nice bumping into you..." And with that I walked off with a slight smile on my face, hopefully, I'll be seeing him again pretty soon.
Scott:
3rd person P.O.V:
You were sat down on the benches at the Lacrosse Field waiting for your father to finish coaching, that's right, you're coaches daughter. You've just recently moved back in with him since you have been living abroad in England with your mother, she recently got a job for a movie or something, you don't remember you weren't even listening to her, but now here you are living with your dad because she was going to be gone for a year and didn't want you to miss out on school. Also, did I mention the Lacrosse practice hasn't even started yet... It's so boring waiting you thought, but oh well you wanted to get some food with your dad and catch up on old times so it was worth the wait. While you were waiting, you saw a couple of the boys running towards the field, you ended up locking eyes with one of the "Woah" you spoke out loud without even realising it, but what can you say he's a hottie. He started smiling at you, it was a little crooked but it was still contagious and you couldn't help but smile back. Finally, your dad came out with the rest of the boys, you thought they were all quite good looking but you couldn't keep your eyes of number eleven the whole practice, as soon as practice was over you went towards your father and see how much longer he would be but he was in the middle of a conversation with number twenty-four and well I'll be damned, number eleven, you couldn't help but watch him as he spoke to your dad, what can you say he has quite the charm when he speaks... Anyway, eventually, your dad turned around and noticed you were stood there, "Oh, hey sweetie. I won't long just need to get everything packed up. I'll be out in five minutes." he spoke, softly. The boys were shocked at his soft tone because they were so used to his loud, sarcastic behaviour. With that, your dad walked off back into the school, while you began to walk towards the benches. "Wait, I'm Scott, Scott McCall... I've never seen you around here before, are you new?" You couldn't help but laugh at his baldness, "Well, Scott, Scott McCall, I'm (Y/N), (Y/N) Finstock, and I guess you could say I'm new to the school, but not to the town, I've just moved back..." you said eager to know this boy and see where the conversation leads but... " McCall, GET YOUR ARSE IN THE SHOWERS AND QUIT FLIRTING WITH MY DAUGHTER!" *mental face-palm right now* Anywho, how embarrassing is that he's so annoying when he does that sort of stuff, you could feel the crimson red burning in your cheeks. "COMING COACH! Well, I guess I'll see you around (Y/N)." You nodded gently and with that, he walked away. "See you around Scott." You whispered to yourself. This is going to be fun...
Derek:
3rd person P.O.V:
You've just recently moved to a new town well known as Beacon Hills and what better way to explore than go for a jog through the town, so that's what you did. It was 3 pm and you were so bored, that running was the only thing you could think of doing to get your mind off of the move and explore the town quicker, you got dressed and out the door, you went. You checked your watch and it's now 5 pm and you figured a good way to get home quicker would be through the forest as you noticed it was close to your home and there was an entrance near where you were, so why wouldn't you be able to cut through there. As you were running through the forest you felt as though someone or something was following you, you stopped and turned to check to see if there was anyone was there but nothing. You carried on with your run and after half an hour you realised you had gotten lost and that's when you ran into him, he felt like a brick wall... He was tall, muscular, with a mysterious persona about him, and what you could tell of in the dark is mighty fine. You snapped out of your daydream realising he was saying something to you,
"I'm sorry, what?" You spoke a little embarrassed.
"I said, are you ok? You seem lost." He spoke softly as though it was a foreign concept for him to speak in,
"Erm, yeah I am, I thought this would be a quicker way home but obviously I have to make sure I know my way first." You laughed for the first time in a long while.
"Ok, I can give you a ride home? If you want?" He spoke unsure of whether or not you'd think he's a creep or not after all you did bump into him in the woods.
"Ugh. Umm. Y-yeah, I mean sure... But only if I get your name first." You spoke with the biggest amount of curiosity as to whether he would tell you not.
"Oh, I'm Derek"
"Nice meeting you Derek, I'm (Y/N)."

It’s This Jealousy
Pairing: Peter Parker/Tony Stark Rating: Mature (M) Notes: I got tagged in this post right here by @starkerscoop and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get my hands on it. It got a little smutty at the end - hope you don’t mind! (& @send-me-your-hcs asked for a tag, too!)  Warnings: masturbation  Summary:
It's this jealousy Oh, and I just can't believe In this jealousy This jealousy for you
At the ripe age of 49, Tony never imagined he’d be best friends with an 18-year-old. After all the mess with Steve and Bucky, things were a little strained between Rhodey and Tony. It wasn’t anything personal, there were just lots of things between them now, the leg braces he worked constantly to improve not even close to the only thing. With Peter, Tony could simply be. Their shared history wasn’t filled with anything other than a little tension and some misplaced control on Tony’s part.
The more Tony started to see Peter as the intelligent person he was and not the kid he always made him out to be, the more he wanted to have the younger man around. There was something in the way he tilted his head to ask questions and babbled incessantly that Tony just felt drawn to. Try as he might, there was no escaping the magnetic pull that drew him more towards Peter every single day.
It wasn’t subtle, either – the way they just seemed to fit. Peter moved into Avenger’s tower after graduating; the transition from part time to full time was and easy one, he fit right in with everyone – especially Tony. It didn’t take long for the two of them to break off and head for the lab together or be found in the living room pressed together from shoulder to hip talking quietly amongst themselves.
If someone was looking for Tony, they always pointed him in Peter’s direction. There weren’t many times throughout the day that they weren’t together. Tony appreciated Peter’s brain – he thought from all angles and wasn’t afraid to be wrong. There were many times when Peter taught Tony something new or made him go back and look at things from a totally different perspective.
Just the other day, Tony sat with his head in his hands, the nanotech and its housing unit he’d been trying to manipulate for the last hour sitting uselessly on the desk. A soft touch on his shoulder had him looking up, a smile overtaking his face for the first time all day. “Hey, kid,” Tony said in greeting, his hand coming up to hold Peter’s to his shoulder for a moment. “Training go well?”
He’d been trying to update his suit, so he stepped out of the group training for the day. The transition from the mechanism on his chest to the full suit was still too slow – he needed at least another second off of the total time. The headache didn’t seem worth it at that point, though – he should have worked the frustrations out. His head ached and he wanted to pull the freshly showered Peter Parker closer to him more than usual.
When Tony let go of Peter’s hand, he was surprised to find that Peter didn’t move his hand from its place on his shoulder. In fact, the fingers there dug in, the tips moving up and down the line of muscle. He tried not to move – the last thing he wanted to do was scare the kid away; the touch felt amazing. It was almost enough to make the collection of useless tech below him not matter. Almost.
“It did – the new adjustments you made to the aiming system did a world of good. I was moving so fast today,” Peter answered, his voice excited. Tony forced himself to settle on the slightest flash of a smile – Peter loved being a superhero, it was so insanely obvious. More often times than not, Tony found himself working on Peter’s suit just to see the astonishing smile on his face – the very one that was beaming back at him right now.
Tony picked up the small screwdriver he’d been using to mess with the back paneling, his face burning a little from the rush of affection that washed over him. It didn’t make sense, feeling like a schoolboy with a crush. But he couldn’t help it – Peter was so wholesome and filled with excitability and life; it was hard not to be drawn to it. “Bummed I missed it. I’ll pull the data from EDITH later – we can do a little data spec. I’ll see it in real time that way.”
He heard Peter suck in a breath, then saw the smile on his face grow wider. “That sounds like a good idea. I also brought some new ideas for the next evolution of web fluid. I’m so close to a breakthrough.” He went about taking his StarkPad and old-fashioned spiral notebook out of his backpack, excitement written all over his face.
Sitting down next to him (instead of across from him like not too long ago) Peter leaned into Tony’s space, looking over his shoulder. “I don’t think it’s this,” Peter remarked, pointing to the external structure. “The adjustments you made on the shooters was in the programming. I don’t think it’s a mass thing, either. I think it’s in the transition.” To Tony’s surprise, he opened his notebook and pointed to a couple different equations. “I ran these this morning when I saw what you were looking at yesterday.”
Peter’s cheeks were red, and his body radiated the kind of heat that shouldn’t have been natural. It made his entire right side warm, the bare skin of his forearms prickling from the contact. Letting his eyes roam over the work, Tony leaned into him – an arm wrapping around his shoulder. “This is good stuff, Pete. I think I know exactly where to go now.” He kept his arm there for a few minutes, the two of them still lightly discussing the numbers and what brought Peter down that path.
A week later, his suit was ruining faster than ever before. Every time he punched the mechanism and the nanotech did its thing, Tony felt a warm drip of pride in the middle of his core – the little bits of attraction he’d been trying to hide getting harder and harder to ignore.
Especially because Peter seemed to think that their friendship came with an all access pass – to him, to the never-ending stream of thoughts that ran through his head, hell, to Tony’s things. Many times, he’d come back from a meeting and find Peter passed out on the edge of his bed, the huge TV dialed in to some anime show he couldn’t force himself to get into. He never did anything about it – how could he? Most of his daydreams revolved around that very instance.
After a few weeks, Peter started to talk – like, really talk. He started with the story of how his parents died and the struggle it was to get used to living with May and Ben. Peter talked about the things he missed because he didn’t have parents in his life, no matter how much his aunt and uncle tried.
The more time they spent together, the more Peter let himself be free with his words. Tony knew what type of shampoo he preferred, how many times May walked in on him naked or unclothed, and all the different fanfictions currently all the rage.
They were close – plain and simple. There were a few times when their closeness seemed like it might be something else, but neither man acted upon it. Tony didn’t want to apply undue pressure to a situation that only few people his age were interested in. He didn’t know much about Peter’s thoughts on that matter – it was the one thing they didn’t talk about.
MJ quickly became a topic that strictly stayed in the friend pile, Peter’s interest in her weaning significantly after some sort of mishap during their trip to Europe.
Tony spent most of his time holed up in his bedroom the entire week Peter was gone, his mind and body exhausted from all the work he managed to get done in the comfort of his king-sized bed. He didn’t talk to anyone, Tony keenly aware that his behavior was not appropriate for an almost 50-year-old person.
He could never admit that Peter coming back was the best day of the entire summer – the two of them quickly catching up on his use of EDITH and the different aspects of the new suit he wanted to start working on for his patrols back in the city. It seemed like nothing changed between them – but relationships or anything related weren’t brought up again.
The idea that he wasn’t approachable in that area made his jaw clench. His history didn’t lend itself to a positive image, he could admit that. There were a few years when things were so out of whack that only going from one thing to the next could satisfy him. After the cave, Tony figured the person closest to him when he got back was the answer. The try he applied to his relationship with Pepper wasn’t lacking, they were simply better off as friends.
It smarted a little – how perceptive Peter was. If the reason he didn’t approach Tony was because of his past, he couldn’t begrudge Peter one single bit. The kid was smart and understood that bad habits weren’t to be repeated. Too bad Tony’s history wasn’t anything like the way he currently felt and thought.
----
Walking into the kitchen in the common area of the tower, Tony quirked a brow at the congregation of Steve Rogers, Wanda, Bucky, and Peter – they all looked up at him when they realized he was in the room. Peter’s cheeks colored, his eyes drifting down to the hands knit together in front of him. The rest of the adults at the table were looking at him with looks of curiosity and interest – Tony almost certain he could feel Wanda picking around in his brain, or something.
“Tony!” Peter exclaimed, one of his hands moving quickly to cover his mouth. It would have been comical if Tony didn’t know the kid so well. Peter didn’t do so well with lying or bending the truth – his face and expressive eyes gave him away. Staring at him now, Tony wondered what kind of snake pit he walked into. He gave the group a swift nod but didn’t stop to join them – he didn’t need spider senses to understand the prickly sensation on the back of his neck.
He was quick to get the hell out of dodge, a water bottle in his hand – the thought of making a sandwich quickly abandoned when all of the eyes in the room followed his every movement. Settling onto the couch, Tony put a random Netflix show on and turned up the volume – his ears ringing from the overdrive of his thoughts. Whatever they were talking about, he suspected it might have something to do with him.
It didn’t stay a mystery long. Tony saw Steve approaching him from the laid-back position he let himself curl into on the couch. Queer Eye sucked him in, so he let his brain check out, his body relaxing with the rest of him. The second he saw Steve, though, he sat up – the prickly sensation returning to his skin. He felt like he might throw up all over his fancy shoes, the thought that maybe throwing up would be a little less painful than whatever Steve might have to say crossed his mind.
“So – “ Steve started, his arms folding across his chest as he settled into the empty part of the couch. “I had a surprising conversation with Peter. Or well, he asked some surprising questions. Are things okay between the two of you?” Steve’s voice sounded a little patronizing – the big brother act something Tony could never get behind. At least he was here talking to him, though – it didn’t seem right to begrudge him that.
“What are you talking about, Rogers? I don’t know what kind of questions he asked you to know what you’re referring to. The last time I saw Peter, he was smiling over a beaker of web fluid.” Tony pressed himself against the side of the couch, the softness of it aggravating. In that moment, he wanted weight – something to ground him to this weird conversation.
In another life, Tony would’ve appreciated the tilt of Steve’s head, the curious look in his eye not the worst thing to look at. He knew what it was like to take on Bucky, though – he’d never win that fight alone. Shaking his head of the thought, he focused on Steve and the words it seemed he was trying to find. “He was asking about pleasuring himself. We all assumed you two were good in that department.”
Tony sucked in a breath, his eye bulging. “Pleasuring himself – what? Steve, we’re not together.” The words felt weird coming out of his mouth, like they were trying their hardest to cling to the surface of his tongue and not be spoken; speaking them made it true. Running a hand through his hair, Tony wished that the couch would open up and swallow him whole.
The emotions that swarmed around him made it hard to pay attention to anything else Steve said – his head nodding, but his brain not really processing anything. All he could think about was the fact that Peter went to Steve Rogers of all people to ask about the most personal of matters. Tony was good enough for everything except carnality – what a joy that was to learn. Without much thought, Tony got up, not really giving two shits about the still talking Steve gaping at him from the couch.
He took refuge in the lab – the sight and smell of familiar things enough to calm him down slightly. “FRIDAY, play some classic rock, will you? KISS, maybe.” Tony said absentmindedly – music would drown out the bottomless pit of things that only made him angry. His understanding of how irrational it was to be as angry and jealous and upset about something that wasn’t even his business made it all a little worse.
A whoosh of the door opening a little while later brought Tony out of the trance that he blissfully slipped into. Not thinking was a lot better than the war of emotions that threatened to consume him. His eyes caught Peter’s, his exterior softening for a second – his presence was soothing, even now.
Remembering Steve’s mistake and the weird feeling of betrayal, Tony lowered his eyes quickly – it would take ignoring the soft look in Peter’s eye to keep firm to his resolve to be mad.
“Tony – I’ve been looking for you everywhere.” Peter approached him like one would a wounded animal, slowly and with caution. He wondered if Steve was supposed to tell Tony about Peter’s questions – if he was betraying the kid’s trust to set the record straight. His blood felt like it was boiling – the direction of his thoughts not very productive in deactivating the bomb that was ticking down, each second a little closer to explosion.
He felt himself huff out a sarcastic laugh, his emotions getting the best of him. “Well, you found me. Now what?” Tony’s voice was harder than he ever wanted to use towards Peter – the pitch of it sending a shiver of shame down his spine. The subtle change in the room wasn’t missed – so he let the feeling take hold; what did he really have to lose?
“What? Tony, I – “ Peter spluttered, words not coming despite his demand for them.
“You what? You’ve told me your entire life story, every little intimate detail, but you seek out Steve Rogers for sex advice? I don’t get you, Peter – a little piece of me is licking a wound. It kind of feels a little like betrayal.” Tony inwardly cringed, his own desperation so very evident. The dam inside of him was broken – there seemed to really be no going back. “I’m good enough for everything but this?”
Peter’s face fell, his usually bright eyes clouded over by confusion that was swiftly mixing with hurt – it pained Tony on a molecular level, seeing that gorgeous face anything but radiant with happiness. “Steve’s such an asshole,” Peter muttered, his eyes dropping to the floor. Tony wanted to pick Peter’s head up and rub his cheeks until the red hue and shine came back to his face.
“I didn’t come to you because you’re the one driving me crazy – I’ve been so on edge around you and I can’t – there hasn’t been any relief. I thought I’d ask people who are just as souped up as me about it. I thought maybe there was something wrong with me,” Peter admitted quietly, his eyes peeking up to gauge the look on Tony’s face.
Shaking his head, Tony cursed himself for not being the stonewalled person he made himself out to be. The cracks in his armor were ones he couldn’t buff out – no matter how hard he tried. Words he longed to hear sat on his skin, his body trying to decide how to process the stimulus of actually getting the thing he wanted the most.
The few steps it took to close the gap between them felt like miles – Tony couldn’t get his hands on Peter fast enough. “I’m driving you crazy?” Tony mumbled; his hands grabbing Peter’s hips. “You walk into the room and I’m completely lost. I’ve thought about bending you over every one of these tables – kissing you breathless against the damn fridge you lean into and search for food that isn’t there.”
Peter wrapped his arms around Tony’s neck, his enhanced strength pulling Tony against him before he knew what happened. There wasn’t any space left between them, their noses brushing with every hitch of breath either man took. “You’re my best friend, Pete – I haven’t wanted to fuck that up.”
Their lips touched then, both of them leaning in to close the distance. Tony’s fingers clenched, the hold on Peter’s hips tightening. The t-shirt Peter was wearing rode up a little, a bare stripe of skin available for his fingers to touch. At first brush, the body against him squirmed, Peter pulling away to let out a soft gasp. “Fuck!” Peter grunted out, his eyes clenching closed.
Tony watched Peter’s reaction, a rush of heat collecting in the boiling pit of his stomach – his cock throbbed against the zipper of his jeans. He’d thought a lot about what Peter would look like in the throes of passion – the sight was exponentially better than anything his brain could dream up. The flush on his cheeks made them seem fuller, the globe of them looking tasty enough to pull into his mouth. Glazed eyes and a hanging jaw had Tony moving – his lips desperate to be pressed against Peter’s once again.
“We should move this elsewhere,” Peter babbled against Tony’s lips, his fingers fisted in the front of Tony’s shirt. “I want to feel your skin, Tony.” His hands were uselessly tugging at the buttons, the fabric of it starting to tear with the force of his grip.
Groaning, Tony forced himself to take a couple of steps out of Peter’s grip completely. It would take too many brain cells to get to the elevator and up to the floor his rooms were on if he were still anyway attached to Peter – his hands achy to touch, to finally feel the thrum of Peter’s heartbeat pulsing in his veins.
“After you,” Tony mumbled, his chest heaving as he watched Peter walk in front of him, the articulation of his step hitched a bit from the stiffness in his pants. His steps were quick and the view from behind was nice – a good enough distraction to get him from the lab, into the elevator, and then down the hall where he grabbed Peter’s hand and pulled him along.
The slamming of the door in his bedroom was more satisfying than he figured something small like that had the right to be. Peter’s breath hitched when Tony’s eager fingers slipped under the edge of the soft t-shirt covering the long limbs he’d been thinking about for months. It got caught on Peter’s ear as Tony pulled it off, both of them laughing. “I can’t believe this is happening,” Peter admitted, pupils blown wide.
Tony grinned, the tips of his fingers trailing down the hard planes of Peter’s sides – “It’s real – I’m real,” Tony answered, his hand grabbing Peter’s and placing it over the hardness trying to escape the confines of his jeans. “That’s for you.” He let a chuckle slip, the reaction of Peter’s hand tightening on his crotch surprising him.
They made quick work of clothes after that, Tony kissing him breathless between the unbuttoning of his shirt buttons and the fumbling it took to get shoes, pants, and briefs off. Peter ended up in the middle of the bed, Tony settled between his spread legs. “Touch yourself. Steve may be enhanced, but I know what it’s like to feel good,” Tony’s voice dropped, his eyes wandering over every single inch of Peter stretched out below him.
Peter didn’t wait to do what he said, long fingers wrapping around a thick erection before Tony even finished speaking. His grip was tight, Tony taking stock in the way he slid his hand from the head to the base, and the flick of his wrist on the upstroke. Dark eyelashes flickered, the edges of them just barely moving along the edge of Peter’s cheek.
Without saying anything, Tony let the fingers of his right-hand trail along the inside of Peter’s thighs. He kept the touch light, the skin pebbling with his caress. “The best part of what you’re doing is the build-up. It starts with the littlest itch. You grasp on and try to itch, but the pressure you’re using isn’t enough,” Tony flattened his hand, his palm running down the front of Peter’s balls. They were slightly hairy and drawn up – the sheen of sweat on Peter’s skin telling him just how much Peter seemed to be enjoying the tease.
Gripping both of Peter’s balls in his hand, Tony gave a tug and rolled them between his fingers. “So, you grip a little harder and move your hand a little faster – it’s the sweet combination of pleasure-pain, the relief of almost curing the itch and the slightest dig of your fingernails into your skin.” Tony let his left-hand wrap around his own length, the tip completely drenched in precum.
Tony slipped his hand from Peter’s balls down his perineum and in between his cheeks, his finger tracing around the tight rim of his asshole. Peter’s hand was moving quickly over himself, his eyes wide as he tried to stave off an orgasm and catch every move of Tony’s hand that he could. “You should cum, Pete. Finally scratch that itch.” Tony’s finger pressed ever so slightly against the rim as he spoke, the tip barely slipping inside. “Cum, Pete.”
The clench of Peter’s muscles was almost enough to pull Tony over the edge with him – Peter’s hand was flying over his length, the start of his orgasm splashing against the bottom of his stomach, then pooling between the ab and pec complex up towards his chest. Tony’s name dripped from his lips, Peter’s free hand fumbling around until he grasped bare skin.
It took a couple more strokes for Tony to follow him over the edge, the sight of Peter’s cum coating his own stomach and the blissed-out expression on his face more than enough to fuel Tony’s fire for a long time to come.
Without much thought, Tony collapsed on Peter’s chest, their legs tangling. He didn’t care about the cum that smeared against his skin when he moved in to press a kiss to already swollen lips – Tony hoped to spend many days covered in Peter’s cum and sweat. Now that the dam was broken, there’d be no holding back the feelings he tried his best to keep under control.
Peter’s arms wrapped tightly around him, Tony feeling the boy’s sigh from his position against his chest. His skin was warm and slick – the softness of it a contrast that made Tony want to hunker down and be surrounded by it forever.

(Y/N)’s P.O.V.
Seeing him begging for forgiveness the other day has made me think of a lot of things. He looked so hurt and it made me want to hold him in my arms and forgive him right then and there, but I couldn’t shake the thought of what he had done.
I’m so conflicted. I just want to punch him in his perfect teeth but I also just want to kiss those plump lips of his. I know I said that I didn’t want anything to do with him and that we’re over… but I still can’t help but feel differently. My head says one thing but my heart says another.
He’s still holding onto the hope that we can be together and I don’t know whether to push him away or kiss him. I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’m overreacting? Am I just saying that to myself just because I love him and I want to start over?
Pfft what am I even saying? He’s the one who threw it all away, not me.
“C’mon, (Y/N), tell me something about yourself.” Johann said as he leaned in and rested his chin on his hand on the table between us. “There’s not much to tell.” I took a sip of my coffee as he shook his head. “Not much to tell? Everybody has a story, nena. I’m just interested to know what yours is.” He smiled. “Let’s start off with one thing..”
“One thing. Okay uh..” I thought for a moment. “Something simple. Maybe something nobody else knows about you..?” I cleared my throat. “Um.. I can dance.”
“Enserio?” He asked and I nodded. “Yeah.” I chuckled. “Not many people know, but it’s the truth. I haven’t been able to really dance in a while because I’ve been busy, so I’m hoping to get back into it.”
“You gotta show me your dance moves one of these days.” He smiled. “I don’t know about that. Maybe one day.” I took another sip of my drink. “Mmm what about you?” It was my turn to ask. “Ahh there’s not much to tell.” He chuckled, picking up one of his tacos from his plate as I raised my eyebrow. “Now you’re using my words against me.” We continued talking for a few minutes before it became quiet between us.
I wish I was with Joel at this moment in time and not with one of his friends. This still feels kind of wrong and I don’t know why I’m even doing this. Hanging out with him just doesn’t feel the same as being with Joel. I know he said that he’ll help me get over him, but is that really what I want?
I moved a strand of hair away from my face. “Joel came to visit me the other day..” I said. “Oh, really?” He lifted up his head slightly and folded his arms across his chest. “And what did he want?”
“He just wanted to apologize and wants another chance.” I looked down at the empty plate in front of me as I thought about Joel’s tear stained face engraved in my mind. “He wants me to go to the airport so… I can go with him. So we could, I don’t know.. see the world, as he put it..”
“So.. are you going to give it to him or..?” I shrugged my shoulders and sighed. “I don’t know… I want to. I really really  want to, but – ”
“You’re seriously thinking about it?” He cut me off. “Well no I… I mean..” He shook his head and sighed. “Mira, (Y/N), listen to me and listen to me well..” He started off. “He’s not worth it. Do you think he’s actually gonna have time for you considering the schedule he has? He’s busy 24/7..” He took my hand in his own and it just felt… weird.
“It’s time for you to forget about him and move onto more important things. You need to move on with your life and not wait around for someone who can’t give you the time of day and put in the work.” He smiled and rubbed his thumb over the top of my hand. “I… I guess you’re right.” I mumbled, slowly nodding my head.
“Trust me… I know what you need.”
~~
“Is there anything else I can help you with?” I asked the customer as they shook their heads. “No, I think that’s about it. Thank you.” I nodded as they walked through the isles to get what they wanted. I sighed an continued hanging clothes on the racks as Andrea walked up to me. “Hey bubblebutt.” She smiled at me and I chuckled. “Hey numnuts.”
“How are you feeling today?” I raised my eyebrows and shook my head. “I’m fine.” I picked up another article of clothing and put it in a hanger as one of her hands rested on her hip. “Are you really?” I nodded. “Mhmm..” She sighed and handed me some clothes so she had a reason to be standing next to me and talk. “I hung out with Johann recently.” I spoke.
“Johann? From.. the cookout?” She asked and I nodded. “Yeah, he’s been wanting to check up on me and see how I’m doing.”
“Oh yeah? And how’s that going?”
“I’m not really sure. He’s nice but.. I don’t know. I’m kind of at a loss right now.” I hung up the last pieces of clothing onto the racks as I sent someone else to go put them away while I stood there talking with her. “I don’t really know how I feel about him.” She said as she crossed her arms over her chest. “When we met him, something just didn’t quite feel right.”
“Well, he was truthful with me. He told me that he found out what Joel was doing and thought that I should know firsthand what was going on. He had the balls to tell me and Joel didn’t.” I looked around and saw Enrique talking to customers that needed help with something. “I feel like he would tell me the truth even though it hurts. I respect honesty, you know that Andrea. That’s one of the reasons why I’ve been seeing him.”
“And the other reason?” She asked as I saw Enrique looking over at his lover and wondered why someone can’t genuinely look at me like that – with love in their eyes. “… A distraction..?”
“(Y/N), you can’t be serious.”
“And that’s what it is. It’s nothing serious.” I said. “You’re hanging out with one of his best friends. How do you think this will end?” She asked and shook her head. “(Y/N), I’m telling you this because I love you… but something isn’t quite right about him. Frankly, I don’t know why Joel ever associated himself with someone like him but that’s besides the point.” She gave me a sad smile.
“I know what that little shit did, but.. I knew there was something magical between you two. If only you could see the way he looked at you would you understand what I’m trying to say. I’m all for women empowerment and how we don’t need no man, but honey… that man loves you, despite of what he did.”
It’s almost as if I’m asking myself if I should stay or if I should go. Johann told me to forget about him and move on, and Andrea said that I should listen to my heart and don’t give up on love.
I gave her a small smile and saw a customer walking towards us, getting ready to ask us a question. “Hi, I’d like to try these clothes on.” I nodded and handed her a number. “Just go right on in.”
I’m so confused.
~1 Week Later~
Joel’s P.O.V.
I don’t know what I was expecting when I went to go to (Y/N)’s house begging for forgiveness a few days ago. She wants nothing to do with me anymore and it’s all my fault. I lost her… I completely lost her and I have no one else to blame but me. I found myself subconsciously going out of my way to make her laugh and felt myself gravitating towards her more and more and then I fucked it up in the end.
“Joel, c’mon! We’re gonna be late!” Erick said as he was quickly grabbing his things and making sure he had all the things he needed. “Tour starts today!” I got up from bed and quickly grabbed my shoes. I haven’t heard from her these past few days and I’m praying to God that she’ll be at that airport. I know she said that she didn’t want anything to do with me, but I don’t know… I just.. I have a feeling that she might be there. I don’t know how to explain it, but I do. Maybe there’s a chance for us to start all over again? Maybe she’ll surprise me?
I did a quick over check to make sure I had everything. Suitcase? Check. Passport? Check. Phone? Check.
I haven’t mentioned the whole situation to anybody just yet. I guess I had kind of hoped that I could fix us before we left. That maybe I wouldn’t have to explain to everyone why I suddenly stopped talking to (Y/N). I walked around the room to see if I’m missing anything as Erick opened the door and started walking out, me following behind him. “Let’s go.” He smiled.
The whole ride to the airport had me anxious. Will she be there? Did I do enough to get through to her so we could start over? I really don’t know. She said she loved me…
I guess this moment will tell me if we still have a chance. I’ll pay for her ticket so she can come with me and I can show her places she’s never been to before… or I’ll stay here if she wants me to so I can mend the broken bond between us.
“C’mon guys. Our flight leaves in 25 minutes. We gotta hurry up!” Clara spoke as we all got out of the car and ran inside the airport. We handed over our luggage that passed into the aircraft hold, went through security gates and into the departures hall and I still didn’t see her. There’s only a few minutes left. Please, (Y/N)… please tell me you’re coming.
I paced back and forth, looking side to side in hopes that she’ll come running through the door. “Joel?” I heard someone’s voice calling my name. I turned around, hoping to see her beautiful face, but was a bit bummed when I saw it was just Johann. “Hey dude. What are you doing here?” I asked as I walked up to him and greeted him with a hug.
“I heard you were leaving today, so I figured I’d see you real quick for a few minutes.” He smiled as I looked around. “Hey uh.. quick question. I know you don’t really know (Y/N) all that well, but.. have you seen her here at all? Do you know if she’s here?”
He shook his head. “No man, I haven’t seen her since the cookout.” My shoulders slumped as I thought about the last time we spoke. “Are you expecting her?” He asked. “I was.. I was kind of hoping that she would come and see me.”
“Man, I don’t know if that’s gonna be possible.” He swayed from side to side as he looked down at his watch. “Well, you don’t know that.” I sadly chuckled and thought back to our last conversation.
“Well as a matter of fact, I do.” He placed his hands inside the pockets of his jeans and looked up at me. “What do you mean?” I asked. “Joel, I’m not stupid..” He raised his eyebrow and gave me a small smile. “Let’s stop beating around the bush and talk about the elephant in the room.” He walked closer and spoke. “I know.. that she knows your secret..” I backed away from him and cleared my throat.
“She’s not coming.” He stated. “How do you know?” I asked.
“Dude, the way how she left Christopher’s made it pretty obvious. The look on her face… yikes.” I frowned at the thought of her crying because of me. “But there’s still a chance – ” He chuckled and shook his head. “No way. Open your eyes, Joel.” He placed his hand on my shoulder and side smiled at me. “You lost her buddy. I’m sorry.”
“Johann?”
“Yeah?”
“I’ve been thinking about that night for a little while and I’ve had the same question pop up in my head over and over again..” I said and slowly shrugged his hand off my shoulder. “Oh, yeah? What’s that?”
It just dawned on me…
“How did she find out anyways? You were like the one person I told my secret to and the night she met you… everything changed.” His posture changed for a split second before reverting back to how he was. “What are you saying? You think I  told her or something?”
“I don’t know, you tell me.”
“Accusing me? Me?  Seriously?” I crossed my arms over my chest and sighed. “Joel, I’m your best friend. You’re confused and hurt and I get it! I’m not gonna hold what you say to me against you because of what you’re feeling. Besides, we don’t have time to get into it. You need to get on your flight.” He started to slowly push me to the gates before I stopped him.
“No no no wait a minute, I’m being serious.” I turned around and glanced back to see if she’ll be there. “How did she find out?”
“Joel, this is silly! You need to – ”
“What? I need to what?” I opened my arms and I could feel my anger rising. “Johann, I need answers now. Did you do it?”
Silence.
No answer is an answer.
“You told her, didn’t you?” I asked, confirming to myself. “You lying – backstabbing – son of a bitch. I trusted you!” He held up his pointer finger and slowly spoke. “I’d be very careful on how you word your next sentence, Joel.”
“Or what? What else can you possibly do?”
“Joel, c’mon! We gotta go!” Christopher spoke as I saw him walking towards the gate. “Looks like you’ll find out soon enough.” He reached down and held up my luggage. “I suggest you get on that plane and start that tour. I’m sure the cncowners would love  to know what’s in store.”
“You’re not gonna say anything.” I pointed at his chest. “I’ve worked too fucking hard for this and I’ll be damned if you – ”
“Joel!” I heard Clara’s voice coming closer to me. “We have to go! Now!” I turned to look at her before putting my attention back on Johann. “You’re gonna stay away from her too.”
“Oh, am I?” He raised an eyebrow. “You’re not gonna be here and she’s gonna need someone to.. be her shoulder to cry on, if you will.” He came closer to me. “Let me make this clear.. you contact her, I’ll spill your secret. Not only will your career will be over, but think of the boys. This is their job too you’re putting on the line. Once your fans find out what you did, there goes the band. Your five minutes of fame will be up. You’ll be history.”
“Why are you doing this? What have I ever done to you?”
“Maybe I want what you have. If I can’t have it, then I’m gonna have to get creative and take something else.”
I felt Clara grab onto my arm as I was slowly being dragged away. “Joel, ya vamanos! We need to go!” Johann smiled as my bags were being taken by Richard. “I’ll see you around, Joel.”
“No.. no, wait! I need another minute! She’s not here!” I spoke as I was getting closer and closer to the gate. “I’m sorry, Joel, but we have to go.” Clara said and handed in my ticket. I turned around last minute and saw him standing there waving bye as I got on the plane. “Have a safe flight!” He yelled out.
I slowly found my seat and saw Richard putting my luggage away up on top of the cupboard. “Dude, why the hell did you take so long?” He asked and I frowned. Why did I get my hopes up? I should’ve known..
Tumblr media
“You okay?” I shook my head. It’s time to start being honest. I have to tell everyone. “No… something’s wrong. Something’s completely wrong.”
“Why? What’s going on?” He said as he sat down next to me. “It’s Johann…”
Things are about to get rough…
Johann’s P.O.V.
I stood there as I watched him get on the plane, now knowing the truth. “That’s right. Get on the plane..” I mumbled as the doors shut. I wasn’t really planning on telling him, but he just kept on pushing and pushing. This worked out better anyways.
Joel got everything.
He won La Banda, therefore him getting to live out his dream and perform for his fans… he has more followers, obviously because of his fame… he has the looks and the voice that the girls just go crazy for… and he got the girl. Not the one he originally wanted, but someone new.
Well if I can’t have everything, then I’ll have to take what I can. This is the one thing I won’t give him. It’s my turn for a little taste of what he has, or in this case, had. Jealousy really does a thing to a person, doesn’t it?
“Excuse me.. pardon me.. please I just..” I heard a voice voice coming closer to me. I turned my head and saw (Y/N) making her over.
What the fuck?
“Johann?” I turned fully and gave her a sad smile. “Hey, what are you doing here?” Seriously, what the hell is she actually doing here? I thought she said she was busy?
“What are you doing here?” She asked. “Well, I was just here to say bye to Joel. He’s my best friend after all, so I thought I’d catch up with him real quick before he left.”
“Oh.. well um.. is he still here?” I shook my head. “No, you just missed him.” Her shoulders slumped as she looked out the windows around us and wrapped her arms around herself. “Oh..”
“But I tried to stop him.” She glanced up at me. “I figured you would stop by, considering how our last conversation went, and see him off or something. So I tried to buy you a little time, but he wouldn’t listen. Said he had a tour to get to and he got right on that plane and left me standing here alone.”
She frowned slightly and bit her lip. “I’m sorry.” She shook her head. “No uh don’t be.. you.. you tried. That’s what matters, I guess.”
“Were you here to say goodbye?” I asked. “Something like that.. as much as he hurt me, I still..” She sighed. “Was I naïve enough to think he would wait for me, Johann?” I wrapped my arms around her shoulders as I guided her away with me. “Let’s not talk about that, his job is way too important anyways. C’mon, I’ll buy you breakfast. I’m sure you must be starving.” I smiled as she slowly nodded. “Yeah.. let’s just go.”

Fireheart - Chapter 20
Short and sweet, enjoy this chapter my lovely peeps! <3 Masterlist and Ao3 link on previous chapter down below because I’m a lazzy bum (kidding, I have a lot of deadlines, sorry!).
@tillyrubes10 :)
CHAPTER 20
Burning hot
Celaena sped through the streets as fast as she could, the duffle bag hanging across her shoulder making the pain come back all over again. Her side was still aching, and she felt drained and tired due to the blood loss. The cold air hitting her face was a blessing, it was helping her keep her mind focused and alert.
Once she got to the hotel, she parked in the underground parking lot, jumped on the elevator, and headed straight to her floor. Luckily, it was still early and she didn’t run into anybody on her way in, as she was sure she still looked sickish.
When she was finally in the safety of her room, she turned on the shower and stood in front of the big mirror while undressed, waiting for the water to heat up. The scar over her hip bone was sealing nicely, and the red rim around it was mostly gone, just a faint pink remaining which meant the infection was under control. She grabbed some ointment from the cabinet and left it out so she could dab it around the wound once she was out of the shower. Her face was another deal altogether; she had big dark circles under her eyes, and the side of her face had turned all shades of green, yellow, and a little bit of purple. She could probably conceal most of it, but the cut on her brow would be visible no matter what she did to cover it.
Shaking her head, she jumped under the hot water and scrubbed her body, trying to get rid of any remnant of Cain’s disgusting scent that could be lingering on her skin. Once out, she dried and styled her hair as fast as she could, applied a ton of makeup, and then arranged her hair in curls so they would be covering the scar as best as possible. Hopefully, not many people would be paying enough attention to notice. She put on bright red lipstick to draw attention away from her eyes and added a nice big necklace over her uniform.
She looked at herself in the mirror one last time, and happy with the result, she headed out. If she rode fast, she’d make it just in time. She called the elevator button, and it showed up almost immediately. She looked at the going down arrow and smirked before the door was even fully opened.
“Good morning,” she said as she stepped in.
“Good morning to you, Celaena.” Dorian Jr. smiled broadly at her, while an older version of the lad smiled politely.
“Morning,” Dorian Sr. nodded once, and crossed his hands in front of his body.
“Dad, this is Celaena, the new exchange student I told you about.”
“It is a pleasure to meet you.”
“The pleasure is all mine.” She stood to one side, Dorian Jr. in the middle as they rode the elevator down in silence until they reached the third floor.
“Celaena,” Dorian Jr. said then, turning to her and resting a casual hand on her shoulder. “Would you like a ride today? I’m coming back to the hotel after school, so I could give you a ride both ways.” His tone was too polite, and she had to school her face not to lift her brows at him.
Dorian Sr. glanced at them so quickly, that she almost missed it, but his lips were pursed into a straight line as he looked back towards the doors.
“Sure thing, I’d love a ride.” It wasn’t necessarily true, but riding her bike had been painful, and she was curious about the way his father had reacted to the question. Dorian Sr. tensed again, making Celaena’s curiosity peak. As the elevator reached the lobby, she wrapped an arm around Dorian’s shoulders. “Let’s go,” she said, stepping out. “Nice meeting you!” She yelled over the shoulder, smiling at Dorian Sr.
Dorian Jr. held her by the waist as they stepped out of the front doors, and she took a deep breath not to flinch away from the touch. Dorian’s car was already at the door, an usher holding the door open for him. They both jumped in, and as the car left the parking lot, Dorian raised a brow at her.
“What was that about?”
“What do you mean?” She faked innocence, making Dorian roll his eyes.
“I’m a little surprised you accepted the ride to start with, but showing yourself so friendly… I know my charms, and that’s precisely how I know you’re not affected by them.”
“I have no clue what you’re talking about, prince charming, but if you don’t want my help, just say so and I’ll be back to ignoring you.” She smirked, and Dorian took a corner faster than needed, glancing at her and smiling back. With the way he was driving, she was sure they’d make it to school in time.
“So sassy, I love it. How did you know I wanted to piss off my dad?”
“I’m good at reading people.” She shrugged, trying not to give the matter too much importance.
She knew what it was like to want to piss someone off just for the fun of it, and also to get attention. Dorian was desperate for it, desperate for any kind of attention he could get. It was so obvious, and so cliche: the boy trying to show his daddy he was good enough. Good enough to take over the business, good enough to not have to follow every step laid in front of him but to choose for himself instead. But that never worked, so they always rebelled and tried to get attention in other ways. She knew that was what she was for Dorian, even if he couldn’t see it himself. And she was going to use it to her own advantage.
“So, how about we make a deal?” Dorian asked after a moment.
“I’m listening.”
“There’s this event I need to go to next weekend, and I have a plus one. My father gave me a list of girls I should invite as good options, but I don’t like those options.”
“And you want me to be that plus one instead?”
They reached the school’s parking lot, and Dorian killed the engine and twisted to face her. “Celaena, would you honor me with your company for the Havilliard’s annual masquerade?” he asked in a mocking tone, but she knew the proposal was real.
“What do I get in return?” she asked, crossing her arms as she faced him.
“Isn’t my amazing company enough?” Dorian took a hand to his chest dramatically, almost making her laugh.
“I wish I could say it is, but it is not.”
“I’m hurt,” Dorian said mockingly, and then jumped out of the car, and rushed to the other side. He opened the door for her and offered her a hand. Begrudgingly, she took it and stood up.
“This is still not cutting it,” she said as she closed the door behind her. “But don’t worry, I’ll think of a way for you to pay me back. Let’s just say you owe me one. Deal?”
One side of Dorian’s lips turned up in what most would have thought to be a flattering and sexy half-smile. “Deal.”
Celaena patted him twice on the shoulder as she walked past him, aware of the stares other students were giving them. “Pleasure to do business with you.”
As she walked towards the building, the eyes of the few students still outside traveled between her and Dorian, but she kept her chin high, her eyes on the door. So much for not getting people’s attention for a day. But it was worth it, getting closer to Dorian Sr.’s business could gain her the information she hadn’t found in his office, she wasn’t ready to give up on the search. She knew her parents and the Havilliards had had a lot of business together, and they hadn’t always seen eye to eye. Hell, Aedion and Dorian Jr. didn’t even speak to each other, so she guessed that showed things were still tense between the families.
Nehemia intercepted her as soon as she stepped through the doors, hugging her by the waist and leaning against her. Celaena flinched at the pain exploding on her side but composed herself fast enough for anybody to notice.
“What was that? You and Dorian? Tell me you spent the weekend together! I knew you were dating someone!” Nehemia was so excited, she was almost jumping as they walked.
“Chill down, everybody’s looking at us,” Celaena said in a hushed tone, and couldn’t help but laugh a little. “I ran into him at the hotel and he gave me a ride, that’s all. I haven’t seen him all weekend.”
“Then why did you ignore most of my texts? I missed you!”
The first bell rang, and Nehemia pouted as she let go of Celaena’s waist. “I told you I had family stuff on this weekend, I didn’t pay much attention to my phone, sorry.”
“Okay, let’s say I believe you. See you at lunchtime?”
“Of course.”
Nehemia marched down the hall as Celaena entered the room to her right, getting ready for a long day of school. Her ribs were still sore, and her head was starting to pound with a headache. She sat down slowly on her usual seat, the stitches on her hip pulling a bit, and looked for her phone as an alarm started blaring inside her bag.
Confused, she looked at the message popping on the screen. It wasn’t her everyday phone, but the one she used as a burner, which wasn’t password protected.
The name of the alarm read: ‘How’s our fire girl doing? Are the flames still burning up? XO Your sexy blond knight in shining armor. Text me to let me know.’ It was followed by a phone number that she didn’t recognize. Celaena covered her mouth with a hand, not knowing if she should laugh or be infuriated at the intrusion. She wasn’t sure when Fenrys could have gotten to her phone, but she guessed it was while she was in the kitchen with Connall. She knew he couldn’t have seen anything relevant, so there wasn’t a whole lot for her to worry about.
She considered texting back for half a second, before throwing her phone back into her bag. It was better if she kept her distance, she could get whatever information she needed at the fights. She shouldn’t risk getting mixed up with the guards outside of work anymore. Especially not after knowing Lorcan Salvaterre was involved with them, that had hit too close for comfort. She didn’t have many classes with Lorcan but had seen the dark-haired guy at a few of them. He was always by himself, quietly sitting in the back of the room and not interacting with anybody. Another pair of eyes to be wary of.
The class went by painfully slow, and Celaena was relieved to stretch her muscles as the bell rang and she stood up with the rest of the class. Not even two steps towards the door, she felt her phone vibrating against her back as another alarm rang from within her bag.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me.”
She pulled it out, and read the message on the screen. ‘I knew you wouldn’t text me. Come on, I just want to make sure you're alive. PS. I know you miss me.’
She shook her head as she deleted the alarm, and checked if he had set any more while she kept walking.
Sam found her at her locker, as usual, a big smile on his face. “Hey there, how is it going?”
“Not bad.”
She dug through her books, leaving some behind and pulling some more out.
“Look at me,” Sam’s tone was suddenly serious, and she turned around slowly, dreading the look she knew she was about to see on his eyes. “What are you hiding?” Sam leaned closer and looked around the hall to make sure there weren't many people around.
“Nothing, Sam, this is not the place and you know it.”
He reached a hand towards her face, and lifted a strand of her hair, looking at her brow. She grabbed his hand and snapped it down, frowning without thinking, which made her head hurt again.
“That is not nothing.” Sam’s jaw was clenched as he spoke, and he had moved to a guarded stance on instinct.
“I was fighting, what did you expect?” She replied between clenched teeth.
“Celaena, I’m not stupid. You’re wearing a huge amount of makeup and I don’t want to know how many more bruises you’re hiding. This is not the result of just a fight, not your usual fight at least.”
She slammed her locker closed and started walking away, but Sam reached over and grabbed her from the shoulder, turning her around to face him. The pain that shot down her arm was so intense that she couldn’t help but flinch and step back. Sam’s eyes were full of worry as he looked her up and down, trying to assess the damage. But there was no way he could see the amount of damage; not the real one. Not the one that laid within.
“Sam, this is none of your business, just stay out of it.” She could deal with a lot of things, but she couldn’t deal with the pity in Sam’s eyes.
“Celaena, you need to let me in. You can’t do this alone.” The bell rang, and they were the only students left in the hall, only a few people lingering in the distance.
“And who says I can’t? I’ve been doing perfectly fine without you until now.”
“It can’t always be just you. One day, you’re going to have to let someone in.” Shaking his head, Sam turned around and walked towards his next class, leaving Celaena alone in the middle of the hall.
She wanted to scream after him, or punch something. How did he dare talk to her like that? She could do it all alone, she didn’t need anybody. As she walked towards the classroom, she pulled her burner phone out and stared at the words written there. How’s our fire girl doing? Before she could think about it too much, she texted the number that had been given to her.
‘I’m still blazing.’
‘And I am not your fucking girl.’

I have been “away” from kdramas for the last month or so for various reasons, not excluding the upcrop of bullying scandals, since I generally try to avoid things that could bum me out in the media that I consume to avoid feeling bummed out. But while following the scandals at arm’s length, and simultaneously at a time where there’s a number of other stories about the nature of celebrity and wrongdoing, I’ve been having some Thoughts.
you do not need to read this lol, it is stream of consciousness and a literal disaster
First, that there is a strong desire for retribution when we see the wrongdoings of celebrities.  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think anyone deserves to be a celebrity. Being an actor or singer is merely a job, and by definition it is a largely immoral one (re: Bo Burnham’s Art is Dead below), not sway in an overly Maoist direction. So, it’s not that I want to “save” anyone from cancellation... but I just wonder how carefully people are thinking about their own worldview when they advocate for loss of income/livelihood for the wrong someone committed as a child/teen. As a teacher I really struggle with the idea that my students’ sins will follow them for the rest of their life, and that the public will seek vengeance for their misdeeds.
But I’m also thinking a lot about Tavi Gevinson’s piece in the cut where she talks about the horrible, toxic burden that comes with dealing with abuse after the fact, when the abuser is someone in the public eye. I’m partly thinking about it because I went to the same high school as her (before she went -- I never knew her), and through the grapevine knew the person she was dating at the time. And all of my friends and I were very uncomfortable with this, but did mental gymnastics that gave her space to make her own choices, despite knowing those were choices she shouldn’t have the opportunity to make if all the adults involved were doing the right thing, even in our own conversations that she would never hear. And so I feel complicit in structures that lead to abuse because my attitude is too permissive.
And then I’m thinking about how we take on all this moral responsibility to “fix”/heal the world of celebrity when it doesn’t care for us, won’t heal us. Like the Irish Times piece about Meghan and Harry’s interview that does a loop-de-loop through the mental gymnastic necessary to figure out exactly how and why I have to expend any personal energy on these now “just regular rich people” once part of an institution “cosplaying as their ancestors [...] the subject of constant psychosocial projection from people mourning the loss of empire” (read the whole piece it’s worth it).
But of course, it matters that institutions and industries perpetuate damaging and harmful cultures. But doesn’t healing communities/industries have so much less to do with a retributive purge of individuals and much more to do with a dismantling of systemic abuse, violence and oppression?
And to just justify this being on my kdrama blog I’d say, based on what little I know from my experience working in Korean schools, or even just seeing the news/laws surrounding workplace violence/bullying, I know it is not just that these actors who once bullied were bad and they continued to be bad and now we should all hate them. Even if we should all hate them, even if they are still bad. And I’m not saying that a bunch of international fans should try to discuss the broader societal implications of this issue it’s none of our business. But, just, before you talk about how long someone ought to be in jail or whatever, please read about the prison industrial complex.
Bo Burnham’s “Art is Dead” played for other comics vs. played for an audience
The Irish Times:  Harry and Meghan: The union of two great houses, the Windsors and the Celebrities, is complete

What to Binge Watch While in Quarantine
Do you feel yourself running out of things to watch on DVR or you don’t know which streaming platform to explore for your next watch? Or do you just find yourself with more time on your hands and don’t know what to do? If you answered yes to any of these questions I hope this thread helps you out. A lot of these picks are some of my top choices no matter what the case (which means I might have spoken about them before-possibly A LOT. Or they may be upcoming March picks, which just shows how great they really are). So without further a do here are some things you should consider bingeing as you maintain your social distancing and seek a form of escape...
Need a laugh?
Tumblr media
Check out DERRY GIRLS
This half hour comedy (which honestly should be longer because the episodes go by too fast and there are not enough of them in the seasons) follows Erin Quinn as she navigates high school during the 1990s in Northern Ireland. She attends an all girl Catholic school along with her cousin Orla, and friends Michelle, Clare and James. (That’s right James also attends the all girls school. He’s a Brit and it would be too dangerous for him to attend the boys school during this time of civil unrest.) As the girls experience trivial problems like how to get to a concert or how to avoid people eating pot brownies at a funeral, the historic problems play out in the background. During the pandemic we’re experiencing we can take away living in the moment like these girls from Derry and not overly stressing on big world problems.

Wanting more of a ROM COM kind of escapism?

Then look no further than the Netflix original Set it Up.
Two assistants, Harper and Charlie, work in the same building and are experiencing a very “Devil wears Prada” relationship with each of their bosses. They meet one night at work after hours and believe they have the worse boss. A plan gets set in motion to set up their terrible bosses with each other. Then when they’re happy, the two assistants can have their lives back. You already see where this is probably going and who this love story is actually following: Harper and Charlie. I’ve been raving about this movie since 2018 when it first came out and it is still just as great as the first time I watched it. It honestly still gives hope for a great romantic comedy.
Streaming on Netflix.
Up for a good mystery?
Tumblr media
Give Cw’s Nancy Drew a try.
One of the Cw’s latest new shows this season, Nancy Drew, re-invents the classic stories we all know and love with a more darker and supernatural spin. If you like Riverdale and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina then this might be right up your alley. However, as someone who doesn’t watch Riverdale and didn’t fall in love with Sabrina, I am still a big fan of this new adaptation of Nancy Drew. I feel like I’ve experienced a roller coaster of reviews with this one, from really liking it to not so much (because there was too much of the supernatural involved and I just wanted a good mystery) to now really liking it again. I think I just needed some time to understand the vibe of it all and now that I really know the characters I’m liking it a lot. I’m also excited it has been renewed for a second season.
You can catch up with all 16 episodes now on the CW app or online cwtv.com. New episodes return in April.
Want more of a magical kind of mystery?
Tumblr media
Then you gotta watch Locke and Key.
Thanks to Netflix’s new trending list I decided to check out Locke and Key and I am so happy I did. It was fantastic and I can’t wait for season two. Based on the graphic novel by the same name, the series follows the Locke siblings who have just witnessed their father’s murder before traveling cross-country with their mother to his ancestral home, Key house. The house is filled with these magical keys that all have different properties from getting into your mind and looking at your deepest thoughts and desires, a key that opens any door and can take you anywhere, or one that opens a music box that lets you control people. The kids get drawn to the keys and unlock a deeper mystery of the keys and how their dad was involved in it all. Plus, there’s a sinister presence that is after the keys and will stop at nothing to get what they want. Definitely worth checking out!
Streaming on Netflix.
Need some music in your life?
Tumblr media
You must watch Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist
This show gets better and better each episode. After a freak accident, Zoey gets the ability to hear people’s innermost feelings through song and dance. She’s the only who can hear it, which means she needs to help the person get through the problem in their life. Each episode has a good amount of musical numbers from popular songs to classics and even musicals. Great cast. There is not one character I don’t like. If you are a fan of Glee I would highly suggest checking it out. It’s the show that often gets compared to it, but you don’t have to be a fan of Glee to enjoy it. I wasn’t a die-heart fan and I’m loving Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. It’s a feel good watch that is just what we need at a difficult time like this.
Watch it on NBC on demand.
Did you love High School Musical?
Tumblr media
Then why haven’t you watched High School Musical the Musical the Series?
This show has been promoted since Disney Plus was released back in November. There was a lot of hype over it, which made me unsure if it would be worth it, but I gotta say that I really enjoyed it overall. A cross between Glee and the Office, HSMTMTS follows students who attend the school the Disney Original Movie Series was filmed. When the new drama teacher comes to “East High” she is shocked that the drama department has never put on the musical for themselves. There’s a love triangle(s), a large cast of talented singers, drama and mystery. Great new songs that will get stuck in your head and the promise for a second season with a brand new musical to perform. (I’m just bummed it’s Beauty and the Beast and not HSM 2). The episodes are only about 25 minutes and you’ll find yourself finished with the 10 episode season in a matter of hours.
Now streaming on Disney+.
Feeling a telenovela musical?
Tumblr media
Then Violetta is for you!
Drama, laughs, love, and music (with more catchy songs you won’t be able to get out of your head), this Disney original from Buenos Aires has it all. You will get sucked into the episodes just like I did and be shocked how far into the series you are in such a short amount of time. I watched all 80 episodes (that are about 40 minutes a piece) in a matter of 2 months. (And now I’m upset that Disney Plus hasn’t released season 2!!) The show follows Violetta Castillo who has just returned home after traveling the globe with her father for years. She wants to be like a regular kid and attend school rather than having a tutor, but her father forbids it. He’s over protective because her mother was a famous singer who then tragically died. He ties it back to the music and forbids Violetta from performing as well. Throughout the first season, she is exposed to a music school where she makes new friends, enemies, and becomes a part of a love triangle (naturally). In the process she rises to be one of the most talented performers, but constantly is worried her dad will find out the truth and make them move again.

Needing a Sci-Fi fix?
Tumblr media
Tune into the Cw’s Pandora.
The show aired on the Cw this summer and needs more love and recognition. I was surprised over how much I enjoyed it. When each episode aired I wanted to watch it right away, which then made me upset because I had to wait a week, but you won’t have that problem! The show takes place in the future in the year 2199. Our main character Jax witnesses her family getting tragically killed and is forced back to Earth to live with her uncle who runs a training academy. Jax enrolls in the school and makes several friends a long the way (there are so many ships on this show that I often had trouble deciding who I liked with who). While at the academy she starts to piece together that her family’s death might not have been an accident and that more lies behind it as well as her own past. There were times when I was confused by how much time had passed from the last episode because characters would be very close or references would get made and I’d be like: Did I miss something? But despite all of that I really enjoyed it and am happy there will be a season 2. It feels very Cw in the best way possible, so if you already watch a lot of shows on the network then you should give this one a try.
Watch the entire first season on the CW app or online @ cwtv.com
Wanting an ironic watch in this difficult time?
Tumblr media
Then add Daybreak to your queue.
This Netflix original had been on my list for a while and once the Corona virus was getting more and more serious I felt I needed something to take my mind off of it and also to have a good laugh. Daybreak is doing just that. (I am currently still watching the series so I don’t have a full review just yet.) This show takes place during the aftermath of a nuclear attack. In this apocalypse adults have turned into “zombie-like figures” who are muttering the last thought they had (often a very funny one). The kids are now in charge and each clique in high school has a territory. We follow social-outcast/new kid at school. Josh who is on the search for the love of his life, Sam, that he lost during the night of the explosion. Along the way he finds allies and they form their own tribe. This show is constantly breaking the fourth wall, having characters directly talk and look at us. I thought I would hate it, but I actually really like that feature and am kind of upset now that Josh has not narrated an episode in a while.
Now streaming on Netflix.

Add Kelsey’s 100 Baby Challenge to your Watch Later
Throughout last year, Buzzfeed multiplayer’s Kelsey Immpicciche took up the 100 baby challenge in the Sims 4. What she thought would be a fun challenge and a couple videos blew up into a full series spanning 50 episodes, multiple spin-off series and even a line of clothing (which I am happy to say I own a sweatshirt). Who would have thought watching someone play the Sims and try to have 100 babies with all different parents would be so much fun? Kelsey has made me want to play the Sims and have my very own 100 baby challenge. This challenge is hilarious and fun. I loved all of Kelsey’s commentary as she plays as well as reading the comment section where everyone tries to give her tips. It’s so exciting to see how so many people got involved in this challenge. I hope she continues for season 2 soon!
You can watch all of season 1 on YouTube.
Need a change in location?

Venture back in time and to Prince Edward Island with Anne with an E.
L.M. Montgomery’s beloved series is adapted with a fresh new take on her classic characters and setting. Across Anne with an E’s three seasons we watch Anne Shirley come to Green Gables and form a family with Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. We watch her shake up school and form life long friends. Something that I love about this series is that it is able to incorporate so many of the issues our society is facing today. While not always 100% accurate to the original novels, the show takes liberties with the source material and expands upon it to create something audiences can see as an echo of our conflicts. While this has been a problem for some, I think, once you realize this, you can enjoy the series even more. I know of so many people who have turned to the book after watching and falling in love with this series. Now, during this time, it is the perfect form of escapism. With each season spanning about 10 episodes you will be done and wanting more just like I am. I’m still upset the series has not been renewed.
Streaming now on Netflix.
Early Releases:
Tumblr media
LITTLE WOMEN is now available on digital copy.

Rumor is that EMMA will be released on digital copy as early as March 20th.
With so much to watch I hope that you can endure this quarantine happily. If there’s a show you’d like to add to the list make sure to attach it below in a comment or by sharing this post!

oh hell yeah requests are open! can i get a yandere izuku, shinsou, and todoroki with a quirkless vigilante please? I feel like vigilantes just don't get enough love and that bums me out :/ btw i love your blog!!
I’m not caught up on the Vigilantes Side Story, but… we love an underdog here. And I feel like most Heroes would just be so *ready* to fall for this random citizen who keeps following them around.
Shinsou feels for you. Hell, he was almost in the same position.
He’s been called a villain his entire life. He’s worked hard to get where he is, and he doesn’t let himself rest for a minute until he has what he wants. And you’re the same, in a way. You taught yourself to fight, to build weapons and traps out of scrapmetal, to be so amazing without the assistance of quirks or mentors. So, while Shinsou doesn't welcome your help, he doesn’t push away the semi-criminal in a Deku Facemask and an All-Might Hoodie, either.
He lets you work with him, attempting to pry into your personal life whenever he gets the chance. But, your answers were always vague, your responses hesitant and overly thought out (you didn’t trust him, not that many people put their faith in a man with a mind-control quirk). Still, there’s an unspoken relationship between the two of you. A mutual agreement that you had his back, and he had yours.
Until he didn’t.
He can still remember how early it’d been when he got the call, how much he panicked when your name popped up on his screen. He’d practically sprinted to the hospital, lying about being your cousin to get your room number and pushing the confused nurse outside of the room (with the help of his Hero License, of course). You’d been hit with a venomous quirk, one that made it difficult to walk, or eat, or… or do much of anything, actually. All you could do was lay there, smiling weakly as he sat in the stiff, plastic chair next to your bed.
“How are you feeling?” He asks, the question feeling abnormal. You two weren’t close, but… he wants you to be. And if you felt comfortable enough to call Shinsou, you must feel the same way.
And he let you get hurt.
“I’ve been better,” You laugh, lightheartedly leaning into his palm when he leaned down, trying to adjust one of the tubes poking through your skin. You’re paler than you usually are, bags under your eyes and something unnaturally blue running underneath your skin.  Shinsou couldn’t help but stare, wondering if this could’ve been avoided if he’d been there to help you. “But, it should wear off in a couple of days. I just… I couldn’t think of anyone else who knew about my hobby.”
“Don’t worry, idiot. You know I’m not here to tell on you.” At this, you relax, your eyes finally leaving the door. It was a small gesture, but… you trusted him. The thought both excited and terrified Shinsou. On one hand, you trusted him! Enough to ask him to pick you up, and enough to let him see you in such a vulnerable state. But… you’d trusted him, and he’d let you down. He’d let you go around, pretending you were stronger than you were and letting you put yourself in danger. Over, and over, and over until something really fucking bad happened.
And Shinsou needs to make up for that. He needs to prove that he can look out for you, that you’d be safe with him. If you two went on like this, you’d lose your trust in him. And that would be a… a problem. For Shinsou, at least.
…you’d be like this for two days.
He had two days to work something out.
And Shinsou wasn’t the type of person who’d let a problem go un-fixed.
Izuku would be honored... despite your decision having nothing to do with him.
He’s the Number-One Hero… and your boyfriend, probably. Or he acts like he is, regardless of the status of your real relationship. And with his clinginess, it doesn’t take him much time to figure out what you do in your spare time, where you go when you should be crawling home to see your loving, loving partner. And even if he should have some reservations, he couldn’t approve of your illegal activities more.
Whether or not you tell him, Izuku knows your routes in a matter of days, lining up your schedule with his own patrols until it’s impossible for you two to avoid each other. He does everything he can think of to make himself look heroic in front of you, swooping in whenever you seem to be struggling, scooping you up in his arms for inquisitive reporters and rambling about how you two should design your costumes together, anything to make you two look like the power-couple of the century.
Honestly, he doesn’t even acknowledge how much danger that kind of publicity puts you in. One picture of your face or a mention of your real name could land you in jail, but Izuku still goes around, testing his limits and pretending everything is fine, even if there’s a copy of your ‘wanted’ poster in his office. And if you try to complain, asking him to please be more careful, he’ll just laugh, telling you he’s too proud for that.
Izuku wants to believe you’re doing this because of him. You’re following in his footsteps! You’re trying to be a hero! And you just look so cute while doing it! Anything that doesn’t go along with that fantasy has to be fake. Why would you be doing this if you aren’t trying to impress him?
And Izuku has to live up to your expectations! Even if that means sitting you down, and explaining that no, you’re not allowed to move out of his apartment just because he’s ‘stalking you’, and yes, he’s going to take pictures of you sleeping in an over-sized Deku T-shirt even if you beg him to stop. And if taking a reasonable approach doesn’t work… well, he’s still a Hero.
Villians owe him favors. Powerful, dangerous villains that even a vigilante won’t be able to handle when they’re off-guard. You might be scared, and you might need someone a little more capable to run in and take care of you. You might be a little more grateful after that, too.
Izuku loves how heroic you are, that’s a fact. But, he needs you to look up to him. And even if you don’t, he’ll make sure that you have to. If you keep trying to get away from him, you won’t have a choice for very long.
And Shoto… Shoto wouldn’t care if you were another Pro-Hero. He wants what he wants, regardless of your other priorities.
His feelings around you are still the same, even if you’re his self-proclaimed ‘damage control’. He’s not surprised that one of the city’s vigilantes decided to follow him, rescuing citizens and keeping an eye on collateral damage while Shoto tried to freeze everything in sight. And, while he doesn’t need a masked stranger with a flame-thrower trailing him like a second shadow, he doesn’t particularly care enough to stop you. As long as you aren’t hurting anyone.
It’s a mindset Shoto is fond of... until he finds out you’re doing the same thing for Tokoyami, at least.
And Uraraka.
And Bakugo.
You help damn-near everyone, apparently. Shoto wouldn’t be able to name the reason why he’s jealous, you’ve only talked a handful of times, but he is. He doesn’t like the idea of you spending time with other heroes, putting yourself in danger for other heroes. You’re his sidekick, his annoyance, his reason to be a little more careful. You don’t get to spread yourself out, acting like anyone is worth your time.
He does the only thing you can think of, waiting until you show yourself during one of his patrols. Shoto lashes out quickly, barely giving you time to avoid a wave of flames. Shoto won’t explain himself, he won’t even speak until he catches one of your legs in his ice, pinning you down and getting a hold on your hair, forcing you to meet his eyes. “Is this what you wanted? Were you trying to make me into a villain?” When you don’t answer, finding one of the combat knives on your belt and desperately trying to chip away at the ice trapping you, his grip just gets tighter, Shoto pulling at your scalp as he speaks. “Do you think you can just go around, making me feel-”
Shoto never gets to finish his rant. Quickly, you raise your combat knife, driving the blade into his thigh without a hint of reluctance. Reflexively, he released you, letting you pry yourself free and run off while he just tried to stop the bleeding. Of course, Shoto was… surprised. Heroes and Villains don’t fight with normal weapons. They fought with quirks, and theatrics, and flare. No one just stabs their enemy.
But, Shoto still knows what he wants. And next time, he knows to take care of your toys before showing you where you belong.

Tumblr media
“Hey, y/n, Line 6 is for you,” your colleague said, popping her head up over the cubicle wall.
“Who is it?” you asked, and she just grinned.
“Your looooverrrr,” she smirked as you groaned and rolled your eyes at her teasing.
You picked up your phone, hit the line for 6, flipped off your colleague, who just laughed and disappeared back behind the cloth wall, and waited for the line to pick up.
“Hello?” you answered, just in case it wasn’t him. The last thing you needed to do was accidentally call your boss “babe” - It was something you could see your colleague pranking you with.
“Heeeey,” Taron replied happily, making you instantly smile despite the day you’d been having at work, buried under projects you were scrambling to get done before the holidays.
“I’m so glad it’s you,” you giggled lightly.
“Who else would it be?” he chuckled lightly.
“Oh, I don’t know, any number of clients who want their work done right this very second and oh don’t you mind changing literally everything you’ve already done thanks love,” you sighed.
“Rough day?” he asked, sounding a bit concerned.
“No more than the usual this time of year,” you said. “Sorry for being crabby.”
“You’re hardly crabby, love. But, I do have a surprise for you,” he grinned. “I’ll pick you up after work, sound alright?”
“You’ve already made my day, T,” you grinned, eyeing your stack of as-yet-untouched paperwork. “I’ll try and clock out on time.”
“I’ll be waiting, darling,” he said. You managed to hang up the call and looking forward to Taron’s surprise (he always had the best surprises) made your day both drag and fly by simultaneously, if that were possible. You were actually quite proud of yourself by the time you left your desk; you’d not only finished two projects but also gotten a decent start on the third, with three days left in the week still to get them done. Taron must be good for your productivity, you mused as you took the elevator down the high-rise and went to find your boyfriend in the carpark.
He hadn’t noticed you approach and when you pulled open the car door the familiar chords of a Bowie song, and Taron’s lovely singing voice, spilled out into the open air. He looked over at you and gave you his dashingly boyish grin before moving the wrapped box from the front seat so you could sit down, and then promptly setting it back down on your lap.
“That is for you. But you can’t open it yet,” he chuckled, making you raise your eyebrow at him.
“Gonna tell me where you’re taking me?” you asked, and he shook his head.
“Not a chance.”
“But Taaaaaron!” you whined slightly, and he only met your whining with a chuckle as he pulled out of the parking spot and onto the London streets.
“You know I don’t like surprises!” you groaned lightly, worrying the edges of the tape on the gift slightly.
“You loooove my surprises and don’t you lie,” he teased lightly, playfully slapping your fingers away.
“So what’s the occasion?” you hedged, trying to trap him into telling you.
“No reason other than I thought I’d treat my lady. Am I allowed to do that?” he grinned over at you.
“Yeah, I mean, of course!” you laughed, trying to shake the box slightly, which was around the size of a shoe box. Something shifted inside, but you still couldn’t tell what. “But you really do treat me all the time.”
“My mam taught me well,” he just replied with a small shrug. What felt like small gestures to him always felt embarrassingly huge to you, but you wouldn’t have him any other way. You were a quiet soul really, the kind of person who enjoyed nothing more than a cup of tea and a good book on the couch. Taron was a lot more social and outgoing, and his greatest pleasure was dragging you along on these adventures of his. But you loved him, and you usually ended up having fun once you pushed past your initial anxiety.
It was a little difficult for Taron to hide where he was taking you once you pulled onto the Alexandra Palace grounds, but there were also a lot of activities that went on there, so you still weren’t exactly sure what he had in mind. The place was pretty packed, though, and that made you have to swallow past the anxious feelings. Obviously whatever Taron had planned would be worth it to you because he knew your anxiety in crowd situations.
Once you were parked, he turned to you and clapped his hands together excitedly. “Alright, you can open that now,” he grinned happily.
You quickly pulled the wrapping paper off and squealed when you opened the box: Nestled inside were a beautiful new pair of ice skates.
“Taron, these are amazing,” you gasped, picking one up and inspecting it, your eyes going wide as you realized he’d put John Wilson blades on the boots. “Holy shit, these cost a fortune! Taron, this is too much,” you said, shaking your head.
“And you love ice skating. It’s one of the things I know gives you joy. So I chose the best for the best person in my life, yeah?” he smiled softly while you felt so overwhelmed your eyes grew teary. He gave you a moment to compose yourself before squeezing your hand sweetly. “Why don’t we give them a try?”
“Um, yes,” you said, excitement taking over any other feeling you were having. You carefully enveloped the skates in your arms as you followed Taron into the ice rink, the evening sunlight streaming in through the wide decorative windows. You had skated at many of London’s rinks in your time, but the Palace was always your favourite. It had so much character and history to it, and that wasn’t lost in the modernization it had undergone.
Taron paid for your tickets and when he asked for rental skates for himself, you touched his arm gently. “Are you sure?” you asked, knowing he did not care to skate himself.
“Of course,” he laughed. “You’ll completely leave me behind in the dust, or shall I say ice chips, but I’m not about to let you go out there alone,” he smiled.
“Thank you,” you said genuinely, as he leaned in and stole a quick kiss from you. He gathered up his skates and followed you over to the benches; you both laced up and he dutifully clomped along behind you, chuckling under his breath at his own lack of balance on the blades. You slowly stepped out onto the ice, instantly feeling the blades bite at the ice and anchoring you. It was such a beautiful feeling, the way these new blades slid over the surface, perfectly toned and balanced. You gave an experimental turn and giggled to yourself before turning to watch Taron carefully edge out onto the ice himself, holding his hands out in front of him.
He wobbled a few times as he skated over to you, and you couldn’t help thinking he was the cutest thing on earth at the moment. You sweetly took his hand and pulled him along, you graceful, him a bit clumsy, but it didn’t matter. The notes of Christmas music tinkled through the air, the laughter of other skaters echoing off the rink walls. You completed a couple of loops around the rink before Taron lifted your gloved hand to his mouth and placed a sweet kiss there before dropping your hand.
“Go on then,” he grinned. “Dance circles around me, love,” he chuckled, and with your eyes alight, you dug into the ice and pushed off, feeling the wind rush past as you gained speed. You flipped from forward to backward and forward again, switching from the inside to the outside edge and back again, testing the responsiveness of the blades, but they were gold. You even did a couple of twirls, trying to not show off too much, but having taken lessons since you were eight, you couldn’t help feeling at home on the ice.
You skated back over to Taron just in time to watch him manage to trip himself, doing a couple of quick hops to try and catch his balance before he royally fell on his ass. You tried to hide your laugh behind your hands before quickly going over to help pull him up. But he only grabbed your hand and pulled you down with him, making you squeal and the other skaters around you give you bemused looks as you landed in his lap, careful to not nick him with your blades.
“So, worth it?” he asked, the tip of his nose a bit red.
“Totally,” you grinned, your face flushed and your eyes happy. He pulled you in for another quick kiss before letting you back up and letting you pull him up to his feet this time.
“Your arse is totally wet now,” you teased, skating a circle around him backward.
“Show off,” he teased. “And why are you looking at my arse?”
“Not my fault you have the cutest bum in the place,” you snickered, taking his hand again and encouraging him. He stumbled a couple more times but started to get more of the hang of it before admitting he was totally wiped out and was more than happy to sit and watch you go round and round the rink while nursing his cup of steaming tea. You waved to him cutely every time you passed, and he just seemed happy to see you enjoying yourself so thoroughly.
Closing time was fast approaching and the rink was emptying out. You decided, just once, to try for a jump, and Taron wanted to catch it on video. You took two quick laps around the rink before switching to the backside edge. You dug the toe pick of your free leg into the ice and felt the effortless rise from the ice as you initiated the double toe loop. The landing wasn’t the cleanest you’d ever done, but you managed to stay on your blades and recover on the exit, and you could hear Taron cheering you on, so you flashed him a huge grin and two thumbs up. Oh, you and these skates were going to become very good friends.
You finally exited the ice, feeling worn out and sore in the most delicious way. Why you’d never pursued skating professionally was beyond you, and those days were also long behind you. But that you hadn’t forgotten your training from all those years ago filled you with its own sort of inner glow.
“You’re bloody brilliant, you know that?” Taron said happily as you unlaced your skates. He hugged you closely to him as you both walked out of the rink after returning his rentals.
“You always say that, T,” you smiled sweetly.
“And I always mean it, y/n,” he grinned softly, gazing at you for a moment, the setting sun painting colors over his face. “So, I’m thinking we grab some takeout curry and settle in at home under the duvet.”
“Perfect,” you smiled, ready to get warm and rest after the day you’d had. But oh, it had been truly wonderful.
Once you were settled at home together, a movie on low volume on the telly and finished bowls of curry sat on the coffee table, you sighed contentedly and laid your head on Taron’s shoulder, both of you snuggled up under the duvet to keep warm. “Today has been truly lovely. Thank you,” you said.
“It’s not quite done yet,” he smiled, turning to you and cupping your face gently in his hands, leaning in until your noses were touching, both of you just sweetly gazing at each other for a moment before he pressed his lips to yours, reveling in the kiss. Sweet, soft, slow, kissing him always took your breath away. You wanted more but he wouldn’t let you have more, pulling away just as things began to get heated. You whimpered slightly and he smirked at you.
“Patience is a virtue, my sweet little virtuoso,” he grinned, making you roll your eyes playfully at him.
“Whoever said that certainly had never kissed you,” you joked but your laugh turned into more of a squeak as Taron opened the end table drawer and pulled out a little shiny black box. Your heart instantly slammed into your throat before beginning to race like crazy at the sight of it.
“I was going to do the whole reservations-at-a-fancy-restaurant kind of thing, but I decided that really wasn’t us. This is more us, honestly, and I wanted you to feel comfortable and happy. And I think I’ve hopefully achieved that,” he smiled, grinning over at you with the sort of look in his eye that meant you were the only person in the world that mattered right now. You nodded, your voice failing you a bit.
“We’ve been together for years now, and you’re the best part of me. You make me strive to be a better man every single day, and I couldn’t ask for a more kind, caring, compassionate woman to be by my side for the rest of the days I have on this earth. So would you do me the absolute honor of marrying my sorry Welsh arse?” he said, fairly beaming at you as he opened the box and showed off the simple ice-blue sapphire ring he’d chosen for you.
Your hands flew to your mouth in shock, surprise and absolute wonder that this moment was happening right now; You hadn’t even remotely suspected it. He had caught you so off guard, and yet, everything about this sweet moment was perfect too. “Yes, yes of course I’ll make a proper man out of you,” you teased back, making him chuckle and also have to wipe at his eyes, which only then made you tear up, and you were quite grateful you were in the privacy of your own home and not in public for the world to see. This moment was private and beautiful and just between the two of you, and that he had respected your need for that privacy meant so much more to you.
He carefully removed the ring from the box and slid it on your finger, his hands shaking only slightly. “Now this day is perfectly perfect,” you whispered, forgetting everything else about the mountain of paperwork on your desk, every snarky client comment and every stressful email from your boss. Every day with this man in the life he promised ahead would be as full of joy and spirit as you felt when you were on the ice, and you could hardly believe this would now be your life.
“You do know this requires you to take skating lessons now so you can keep up with me, right?” you teased him lightly, making him laugh, and cry, at the same time.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he managed, his emotions spilling over and overwhelming him. You pulled him into your arms and held him that way, so grateful for him that you didn’t even have words to express it. You gazed outside the window and noticed that it had just begun to snow, tiny crystals alighting on the sill outside and sparkling in the soft light. It was truly like being inside a dream, you thought, and sometimes dreams really did come true.

Live-blogging my reaction to Spiral: from the book of saw
Spoilers under the cut
TL;DR: my overall review is that it was good but I’m going to go watch DPS to cleanse me
- ok so that woman got robbed and for what
- I had to pause to find out who this detective’s actor was Bc it was driving me nuts and it’s MCMURRAY FROM LETTERKENNY???
- love that they’re gonna fuck up this train conductors day lmao
- LOVE genuinely that we’re back to looking gritty and having an old tv play the video and having some rapid cut camera work early 2000’s vibes I embrace you
- why does the voice sound like that,, I wasn’t expecting John but why is it so non threatening now it’s literally just Some Guy™️
- I am glad I paid $15 to listen to Chris Rock talk about Forrest Gump. Worth my money and I mean it genuinely I love Chris Rock he’s great. Stream Everybody Hates Chris on Hulu
- “Z?” Zeke who just had his cover blown: this MF
- “do I look like a fucking Jamaican nanny?!” I- 😀🤚🏽
- ayo Max Minghella
- Chris Rock falling just short of being convincingly aggressively cynical Bc he is Chris Rock with the voice of Chris Rock
- it sounds like he’s setting up jokes that don’t have punchlines and instead they’re just like,, mediocre cynic cop dialogue
- while looking at some pretty fucking intact teeth: this bum is gonna be pretty hard to ID
- I mean I guess the homeless don’t have dental records but were you not even gonna try?
- I’m very pleased Chris Rock put on gloves before handling the strange package I love actually smart character choices that would make sense for them to make
- I.e. the cop knows how to properly handle unexpected unmarked packages delivered to the precinct
- “I thought the jigsaw killer was dead” “well if it’s another copy cat…” another wait is that referring to Logan (which Logan pinned on the other coincidentally crooked cop whose name I’ve forgotten) does that imply Logan only did like? The one trap? And hasn’t been active? Just waited ten years after John died recreates the one trap he was in and then stops?? I mean don’t get me wrong if movie wants to ignore Jigsaw (2017)’s existence I’m game but like what
- also why do the packages look like they’re wrapped in Tiffany boxes lmao
- oh yay they did run dental
- Chris Rock is an asshole but they should go with protocol if that’s what they’re doing
- ordering a man mid piss out of the men’s room to yell at Zeke
- does conflict of interest matter when the whole precinct knows the victim?
- uncomfortable stand-offs with your ex while at the home of a grieving friend
- Samuel L Jackson!
- “I could’ve killed you!” “What are you talking about, I have the gun!” *SLJ pulls a gun out* “I could’ve killed you”
- daddy issues
- “you think this is linked to John Kramer?” Bruh you think it’s NOT??
- ik this is SO far fetched but I rlly hope this movie tells us wtf happened to Dr Gordon. I’m sure it won’t but a girl can dream
- “should we tell Zeke?” “Fuck him” I get you guys don’t like to work w him Bc he’s an ass but like. You’re just not doing your jobs now you’re just proving he’s right that you’re untrustworthy
- splitting up and not telling ppl where you’re going is the number one way to get kidnapped or murdered but way to go cop instincts
- what is this Chinese finger trap ass shit
- love the blue tones tho very Saw
- all it needs is to become uncomfortably green
- fun fact I actually watched the first saw w my friend who is red green color blind and he said it looked AWFUL and I was like oh yeah everything is blue tinted like twilight blue tint and later it’s green just FYI (he thought that made significantly more sense than whatever shit ass color palette he was perceiving)
- being mad at your son for turning in a dirty cop Bc now you’ll have to mess with internal affairs
- and then assaulting someone??? SLJ is an even worse asshole lmao
- another Tiffany box bound in twine maybe it’ll be one of those cheesy diamond heart necklaces
- HELLO what is that ugly ass pig puppet
- also the voice is so stilted did the killer use fuckin text to speech so they couldn’t unscramble the voice like they did to Hoffman?
- cops finding dead pigs, a little on the nose
- oh so this dude has a history of “fuck it” ok well screw that guy then
- SLJ deserves to be pissed at that cop for letting Zeke get shot but like what an unhinged man he threatened to kill him and then actually assaulted him HOW did he EVER get in charge to begin with
- ok wait is Zeke actually the only decent cop (inc his dad but maybe excluding the newbie)
- that is a truly gruesome way to lose fingers tho I must say but he deserves that shit
- wait did the trap not go fast enough or was there a way for him to do that faster and I missed it
- like should he not have hesitated Bc there was a time limit or was it just rigged
- cuz the machine had to pull them off he couldn’t just cut them quickly
- so are they just gonna leave broken leg Dude there or
- also just now I tried to talk abt this movie (so far) vs Jigsaw (2017) to my mom and I got too excited and referenced some character names she didn’t know and she shut me down and said she didn’t care 😀
- live-blogging to my, like, five followers that compromise one one (1) person that knows me IRL, one (1) Sawtual, and a handful of ppl only here for my main DPS content to fill the void of emotional parental neglect. What a great website
- oh no did the rookie die :( he was actually sweet
- I feel like he was too important to kill offscreen tho
- like they’re TELLING us he .. was skinned.. but was he REALLY
- Chris Rock having a revelation: AH FUCK
- everyone else at the crime scene: ….
- favorite thing abt movies that were already gonna be rated R is when they’re like “well if we’re already at R we might as well say fuck”
- she has to SEVER HER SPINAL CORD? Why was she deemed the biggest asshole
- also how on earth was this trap portable it IS in their basement right
- transporting the hot wax is just what gets me
- Chris Rock rn: are you tired of being nice? Don’t you just wanna go apeshit?
- was this abt his dad the whole time???
- does it count as live blogging when I do one big post instead of several small ones lol I just want it to be avoidable for ppl who are just here for Dead Poets Society
- man’s fully abt to cut his arm off like barely even hesitated long enough to notice the bobby pin he could pick the lock with
- there’s a body here suspended
- not hanging mind you
- but covered and suspended
- and I bet it’s the newbie
- ah damn it’s Pete that’s disappointing
- it’s possible the trailers just made him seem more important than he was
- why are they punishing Zeke for reporting a dirty cop and having his career accordingly ruined like he did the right thing and already suffered for it? This killer doesn’t like crooked cops?? Why does Zeke have to be tortured by hearing this dude die like that’s what they want isn’t it?
- I think it’s too late pal
- the glass trap was pretty fucking cool though
- I KNEW HE WAS ALIVE
- I didn’t think he was a MURDERER but I KNEW he was alive
- OH SHIT THE DIRTY COP ZEKE TURNED IN KILLED NEWBIE’S DAD??
- I’m terrible at guessing endings but it makes viewing more fun
- honestly,, do it Chris Rock ACAB
- “you want me to kill cops?” “No, fuck no, just the bad ones”
- what a fun villain though
- I have no idea what the Ultimate Game Plan™️ is here though is he gonna make him kill his dad? I mean his dad does suck but making a dude KILL his DAD? That is a tall order Max Minghella
- ok but literally why wouldn’t you listen to him here shoot the target??
- ANGIE! It WaS aNgIe
- killing this man is not correct justice anyway Zeke
- shot the target! Good man
- groovy of them to play the Hello Zepp soundtrack rn
- oh shit what’s going on SLJ knows what it is
- oh.. w o w. Brutal way to go. Very heavy handed imagery
- and that’s all I guess who the fuck knows what’s up w Doctor Gordon
- and I guess Max Minghella is just gonna get away now but tbh Chris Rock only seemed truly mad at him for involving his dad
- nice rap remix to the OG Hello Zepp score very cool credits music

revelations | rosa & ava
WHO: Ava and @subrosacapulet
WHEN: Friday evening May 18th/Saturday morning May 19th.
WHERE: Ava and Sin’s loft
SUMMARY: Rosaline and Ava have a girl’s night before Ava’s birthday, and after a night of talking, Rosa starts piecing together just what might be making Ava so tired.
WARNING(s): 🍼
Ava had been studying like mad and along with continuing to plan for her new house with Sin, it was no wonder that she was feeling exhausted every day. But it'd been more than that lately. Lately she's felt....off. She nearly started crying the other day when she knocked over one of her pencil cases, she knew she practically offended Sin last weekend when she fell asleep mid-scene, and more than once she's had to veto his dinner ideas when thoughts of eating certain things made her stomach roll, but she just chalked it all up to stress. Which was why she was all for spending some time with Rosaline, to just relax for a couple hours. So when she heard the bell ring she quickly went over, wasting no time at all in wrapping her arms around her cousin, "Hey you."
Rosaline had always kept her ear to the ground when it came to Ava - she didn't always act on what she heard, knowing her cousin had to live her own life but it was reassuring to know that Ava was ok, especially given their rather difficult relationships with their parents. Rosaline just wanted to be sure that no matter what happened she was there first to do anything she could. Lately she had been hearing whispers of Ava being ill and not herself which was being blamed on stress which Rosaline could definitely understand and relate to with her own studies becoming more difficult lately but she was thrilled when the pair were able to plan their usual pre-birthday get together. "Hey yourself," she replied, giving Ava a big squeeze and holding on tightly to her cousin. "I was starting to think to think you'd forgotten who I was," she teased playfully with a chuckle to show she was in no way serious. "How have you been?"
Ava always felt better when she was in Rosa's presence. The pair had grown up like sisters and Ava knew she could always depend on her, so the moment the arms were around her Ava happy squeezed back just as tight, holding on for a few long moments before rolling her eyes, "I didn't want to disturb you guys. Besides, I figured you'd come up for air eventually." She teased, grinning playfully as she planted a kiss on Rosa's cheek and pulled back to let her in, "I'm alright. I'll be a /lot/ better once the month is over and school is over and we'll be graduating." She told her with a nod, closing the door behind them, "You?"
Rosaline was instantly reassured by Ava's arms wrapping around her and squeezing back, the closeness they shared was always soothing and just seeing her cousin had already started to put her mind at ease. She giggled in an attempt to hide the blush creeping across her features and then grinned guiltily at the tease. "Oh I think I've found something I need far more than air," she teased right back in a very suggestive tone. "Urrgh I know just what you mean," she sighed as she crossed through the door, "you're lucky you don't have assessed performances coming up too and after that I'll /still/ have more learning and training to do in order to be the best I can be." She turned to face Ava, her smile fading slightly to show her true feelings which was something that Ava was one of the few people who got to see. "I'm so tired Ava. Sometimes it all just feels too much, y'know?"
Ava rolled her eyes playfully at her cousin but nodded because, well, she /did/ know very much what she meant. She led Rosaline to the kitchen so they could sit for a bit and when she noticed the change in Rosaline's face she reached for her hand, squeezing gently as she listened to her, "Trust me...I know all too well right now about being tired. But Rosie..you're amazing. I know it's a lot of work, but think of the payoff. You've been working towards this your /whole/ life. So don't you go thinking about the /idea/ of giving up, okay? You've come too far. And you've got this."
Rosaline followed Ava into the kitchen and sighed happily when she sat down, her feet and legs suddenly very grateful for not being used after a long day of continuous rehearsals but the squeeze to her hand made her smile. "You'll always be my number one fan," she said softly, her eyes rising to meet Ava's and her smile returning a little. "And I think Miss Tru may even agree with me on that but it's a close call." Her own fingers gripped tighter on Ava's an her thumb caressed the top of her cousin's hand. "I won't give up, I'm too far along this path to do that and I want to do well, I /really/ want this. It's just hard sometimes." She giggled softly again and continued in a lighter tone. "Once you're exams are done we'll be back to you feeding me lines as I pace up and down the room doing all mine over and over when I start panicking. Miss Tru is already suffering with all the bum notes I keep hitting when I practice." Rosaline studied Ava's features carefully and her look of concern returned. "You look kinda pale Ava, you're looking after yourself aren't you?"
Ava smiled, nodding, "Always." She agreed, squeezing again. She kept her hand in Rosaline's as she listened to her cousin speak and she smiled, nodding, "I promise to do all that and help you, just like when we were kids. You /will/ do well. Nothing is worth it if it comes easy, right?" She asked, tilting her head and smiling at her, "Your hard work will pay off and people will see it and you'll be amazing. Trust me." her smile faded a bit at her cousin's questioning soon after and she sighed softly, nodding and squeezing her hand once more before letting go, "I am. I'm /okay/, Rosie I promise. I just..." She bit her lip, hesitating, "I'm just tired. /Really/ tired. Like...I fell asleep on Sin the other night...in the middle of the scene. And when I woke up after and realized it I..well....kinda got overly emotional and cried." she shrugged bashfully, rolling her lips into her mouth, "Emotional actually has been a /thing/ lately too. But it's just all the stress of school, I know it. I mean, it's been so much that I even caved and ate food at the school and puked my brains out soon after. Pretty sure it gave me food poisoning since I got sick for like..three straight days after. And to this day I still feel nauseous when I even walk by the cafeteria."
Rosaline let the relief Ava's words caused show in her face. There was something about Ava's belief in her which always instilled more confidence in herself and her abilities, there always had been and she knew it would always be the way. If Ava said she could do something then she could and /would/ do it no matter what. "Right, exactly. The fact that this has been so hard and such a long slog will make it all the better when it's successful and my name is up in bright lights. Actually I'll settle for front page of the program for now but lights soon, oh and you already have front row seats for the opening nights, you Sin and Tru are all together." Rosaline wasn't entirely convinced when Ava said she was ok and was glad her cousin continued, opening up about what had been happening to her and she offered a supportive smile as she hung on every word. "Ohh Ava... Was he ok about it? He understands how much pressure you're under and how stressed you are, right?" She didn't know Sin all that well but she did know he thought the world of Ava so she was sure he would be fully supportive and not get angry over such things but she still had to be sure. "He cuddled you and said everything would be ok, right?" A knowing smile crossed Rosaline's features and her tone matched the understanding expression. "Emotional when under pressure is something we've both had to deal with, I've lost count of how many times we've had a good cry when something big is coming up," she reminded, hoping her words came as at least a small comfort. "I didn't think food at schools was that bad but I think I'll stay away from it from now on just in case. You should have called me so I could fuss over you and drive you crazy within seconds of turning up because I'm clueless how to actually take care of someone who's ill." She smiled though her worry was still there in her eyes and she tilted her head to the side in a similar way to what Ava had previously. "You are eating though? Not from the cafeteria but in general? I know it's probably less than usual, I'm the same, but you're having /something/ at least? Speaking of food, are we going out to eat? Your choice of food and my pre-birthday treat so we can do whatever you like."
Ava grinned at the thought of being front row and she nodded, "Front and center. I'll be cheering the loudest and throw you the most obnoxious bouquet during your curtain call." she promised, smiling at the thought. She listened as Rosa continued and she hummed softly, nodding, "He did. He of course took care of me, like he always does. I just....I felt bad over it. And I'm sure on some level /he/ probably felt...I dunno, offended maybe. Like maybe he wasn't doing enough? I don't know. But it wasn't him, it was all me. I never really got emotional under stress though? Not like this. I put my shoe on the wrong foot this morning and nearly teared up. It was a bit ridiculous." She explained, pursing her lips with a little sigh. "And I didn't want you fussing, or /anyone/ fussing. I'm /okay/. And yes, I'm eating. In fact it feels like I've been eating more tha usual lately. I nearly devoured a whole box of donut holes the other morning, and I was /this close/ to begging Sin to go out at nearly midnight last night for ice cream with how bad I wanted it." She joked, laughing as she shook her head at herself and she moved to go to the fridge to get a bottle of water, vaguely aware that she drank nearly a whole case in three days with how thirsty she'd been lately too. "And as for food, I'm good either way. Going out or staying in. You know how indesicive I am."
Rosaline smiled as she saw the cheerful grin on Ava's face and chuckled with a shake of her head at the suggestion. "That would be amazing! You should so do it, you should also convince Miss Tru to throw her bra at me too... just so I know she's not wearing one when she takes me home after the show." She tried to hide her mischievous grin by biting her bottom lip but it didn't work and she giggled guiltily. Having confirmation that Sin had taken good care of her came as a relief, whilst she had expected exactly that it was still good to hear that it was indeed the case. Rosaline couldn't help trying to dig a little deeper into the scene Ava mentioned, both due to personal interest and to see if there was anything that stood out which could cause Ava's sleepy reaction. "What was the scene you were doing? As in was it something new? Something you were used to and comfortable with? Or maybe it added to your stress and nerves? Even without realizing." She smiled supportively and nodded. "I think he would probably be more worried than offended, maybe a little scared he pushed too hard and yeah, like he wasn't doing enough. Did you two talk about it? I know it'll be super awkward but being open and honest is always better than letting something hang over you both." Another guilty chuckle escaped Rosaline and she shook her head. "You got me, /I'm/ the emotional wreck under pressure it just makes me feel better to project it onto you too," if anything that made her worry increase even more but she didn't mention that but it was written all over her face as she listened to the shoe story. She reached out and grabbed Ava's hand again, holding it tightly. "That is a little ridiculous," she teased though even to her it sounded a little forced due to her concern she did manage a genuine smile as Ava refused to let people fuss over her. "Ok, no fussing I promise. Just let me know if something like that happens again, please? Then I'll fuss from afar!" She was pleased to hear Ava was eating and smiled but it soon shifted and she sighed, giving voice to something she hadn't said to anyone else, though Tru had worked it out. "It sounds like you're eating for me too. I'm doing my usual stress means no appetite thing and... yeah, that's not helping with how tired I am. I could totally eat an entire box of donut holes though." She chuckled at the ice cream story, shaking her head with a smile. "I bet he would have gone to get it too." Rosaline grabbed her phone and offered another smile to her cousin. "Ok, we're staying in and cuddling up on your couch so we can talk out all this stress we're both suffering with. But you have to pick what we order," she pushed her phone over with an app already open so her cousin could pick whatever she wanted.
Ava snorted, huffing out a breath even as she blushed a bit and laughed, "Knowing her? She won't even be wearing a bra when she goes, Rosie." she deadpanned in amusement. Her blush only grew at the question about the scene and she hummed, shrugging, "It wasn't really new. It was definitely something I'm comfortable with even though he always pushes more and more, to up my tolerance. I was jus.../exhausted/. He.." She huffed, shaking her head and just blurting it out, "He left me tied up for all of two minutes while he went to grab something else and I fell asleep. But yeah..I'll talk to him about it. And once school is over I'll work hard to make it up to him. But don't worry about me, Rosie, okay? If it's something serious I'll let you know." This time it was her turn to fuss though when Rosaline let slip she hadn't been eating and she frowned, shaking her head, "You need to eat. And tonight, we're eating." She smiled at the mention of the donuts and walked away for a second, going to the other end of the kitchen and coming back with a half-eaten box, "I got some this morning before school. The craving was killing me and I couldn't /not/ get them since I pass the bakery on the way to school." She explained casualy, not really thinking much of eating donuts for breakfast before school. She took the phone then, humming a bit, "Chicken parm sound good? There's a restaurant nearby that delivers."
(I sadly lost one of Rosa’s replies here)
Ava listened to Rosaline as she ordered their food, a smile on her lips all the while because she was so genuinely happy for her cousin, happy she'd found someone to spend her life with. Seeing her happy made Ava happy. Her smile faded though when Rosa told her that she hadn't had an appetite and that she'd gotten comments about her weight, "Wait....seriously? Rosie...none of that is true. You...god, you're like a rail. You're /perfect/." She assured her, taking a step closer and shaking her head at her, "I mean, look." She lifted her shirt up, only wearing leggings since she wanted to be comfortable, "Look at what inhaling donuts and ice cream has done to me." she took Rosaline's hand so she could make her poke her stomach, not really thinking about how it was a bit harder now. "And even now, with food on the way? I still want those donuts." She rolled her eyes at the question, huffing a bit as she shook her head, "You know I'm not a kiss and tell person, Rosie."
Rosaline shifted a little awkwardly in her chair and her eyes dropped to the table, unable to meet Ava’s gaze. “I know that,” she said in barely more than a whisper, “deep down. /Really/ deep down I know but I spent a week eating whatever we wanted and I wasn’t going for my runs and when I came back one of the fitted costumes was tighter. That’s when the comments started.” She sighed and forced herself to look up again, her smile back and tone reassuring. “It’s more the stress of everything killing my appetite, once things calm down I’ll go back to devouring everything in sight without a single regret.” She giggled as her fingers playfully poked at Ava’s revealed tummy. “You look incredible, you always do and what’s this?” She poked one spot in particular after feeling more firmness than usual. “Have you been working out? You’ll have visible abs next despite the donuts and ice cream,” she teased with a smirk. After laughing Rosaline nodded in total agreement. “So do I but I’m showing restraint... for the first time ever!” She pouted cutely at her cousin and tilted her head to the side. “I know you’re not but you know what I’m like, you can’t blame me for trying!” She opened her eyes wide and fluttered her eyelashes pleadingly. “Just one, pleeeeeease.”
Ava looked her cousin over for a few moments, biting her lip before nodding “Alright, fine. If you say so. Just....if the comments continue? Tell Tru? It’s not my place to meddle but if you don’t keep yourself healthy don’t think I won’t tell her mysel—just like I know you’d go and tell Sin about me if I wasn’t. That’s what sisters are for.”she rolled her eyes when Rosaline poked her stomach and mentioned that it was hard and she shook her head “Please. It’s Iike...the complete opposite. I had a pair of high waisted jeans that barely buttoned the other day.” She poured a bit as she said it, taking a long drink of water before motioning for Rosa to follow to the living room to sit on the couch an huffing “Fine...at Terran’s claim? He um..he had me wearing a vibrating plug and he basically edged me the /whole/ day. In fact /every/ Sunday is a day like tjat. He calls them my training days.”
Rosaline smiled gratefully and nodded. "I don't think I'll ever stop getting comments, it comes with the name and the expectation attached to it but they'll move back to something silly like my hair or dress sense soon which is much easier to ignore. Miss Tru knows what I have to put up with..." She paused and nearly changed the subject but she'd never hidden anything from Ava before and she wasn't about to start now. "She's had to deal with me crying some nights after really tough days. Just like you used to." She offered her grateful smile again, always appreciating the support Ava gave her. "You know it, we'll always watch out for each other even though we're both claimed now." Feeling playful again she moved her fingers to a tickly spot on Ava's tummy to try and make her laugh. "High waisted jeans are so inconsistent, I have a pair that was fine for a morning, I changed into a costume for a fitting and then when I put the jeans back on they were tight so I don't trust them." She followed Ava through to the living room and flopped down on the sofa, listening keenly to her cousin and smiling encouragingly. "Ohh wow, that sounds equal parts awesome and challenging. Did you like it?" Her mouth opened to ask more questions but her cousin was saved by a knock on the door announcing the arrival of their food and Rosaline jumped up to go to the door and fetch it.
Ava sighed softly, wrapping her arm around Rosa's shoulders, "Well still, even if she knows...we don't have to like it. But you're strong and you're better than all the idiots who have nothing better to do than try and tear you down. Just shows how poor their own lives are that they have nothing better to do than insult someone who's already more successful than they could ever be." She kissed her cheek and then headed over to the couch, settling in before shrugging even as she blushed, "It's...intense. But a good intense. And, well..he likes it too. He likes that he's literally the only person I've been with so he can help mold me without any past experiences getting in the way. And I do too. I trust him, and I want to be the best sub for him that I can be." She watched Rosaline run for the door then, glad the food had arrived since it put an end to what was always an embarrassing topic for her.
Rosaline let herself melt into Ava’s hug and let her cousin’s words really sink in. The support always meant the world to her, especially as Rosaline knew she was more often than not a pain who caused Ava embarrassment with her probing questions and comments. “Love you,” she whispered softly and completely sincerely. It would have been so easy for Ava to abandon her troublemaker of a cousin over the years yet she never had and Rosaline knew she didn’t show her appreciation of that nearly as much as she should. Having settled on the sofa Rosaline smiled as she listened to Ava. “He is so lucky to have you, and you’re lucky to have someone who really /gets/ you.” Having grabbed the food and taken it into the kitchen she began dishing it out. “This looks good, you made a good choice,” she teased, feeling more hungry than normal. “Are we pretending to be civilised or having this on our laps in front of the tv?”
Ava "Love you more, Rosie." She promised, hugging her for a few moments more before pulling back so Rosaline could go get the food. She grabbed utensils and everything else in the meanwhile, her stomach grumbling hungrily as she smelled the food moments later. She'd already downed her bottle of water in just minutes so she went for another one along with the bottle of wine for them and laughed at the question, "When have we ever been civilized?" She asked teasingly, grinning as she nodded towards the living room.
Rosaline laughed and couldn't resist the Star Wars quote reply of "So uncivilized," as they made their way into the living room. They were quiet for a few moments as the wine started flowing and both hungry girls concentrated on eating before they moved on to their standard complaining about the nothing that was on the tv. Once they had both finished eating and had sufficient time to not feel completely stuffed she went into the kitchen to grab the donuts and plopped herself onto the sofa with a giggle as an idea hit her. "Ok, you need to lay down with your head here," she explained, patting her lap invitingly to indicate that's where Ava's head should go. "And you're going to tell Dr Lovell all of your symptoms and ailments and for each one you get a donut." Rosaline thought it would serve as both a throwback to their younger days but also a way of making sure Ava wasn't leaving anything out that might be important or more serious than her cousin would admit
Ava enjoyed the meal with her cousin, easily talking and laughing with her, jokes flowing easily all the while as they drank and attempted to watch tv. She hasn’t even realized just how hungry she must’ve been until Ava had cleaned off the whole container, blushing at how much she’d eaten. Thankfully Rosaline didn’t comment on it /too/ hard though and soon enough the dinner was cleared away and Rosie came back with donuts, making Ava grin even as she rolled her eyes and huffed “You’re ridiculous.” She teased even as she moved to lay down ‘I’m honestly just sleepy, I’m tired. So is every other student in Verona.”
Rosaline simply smirked and nodded at the 'ridiculous' comment as it was completely true and there was no point in denying it. It was only Ava who really saw this overly playful side to her and Tru to a certain extent to but that was a different kind of teasing entirely. With Ava comfortably in her lap Rosaline's hand automatically began to gently stroke her cousin's hair without even realising she was doing it. With her other hand she held a donut which she hovered over Ava until she had finished speaking and then popped gently into her cousins mouth. "That's true," she agreed softly, "I guess you're getting headaches worse than usual too huh? What about other aches and pains? Or things that just /feel/ odd?" The aches and pains were definitely something she was dealing with but that came with the physical nature of her studies. Rosaline ate a donut herself before grabbing another and holding over Ava as a bribe to answer.
Ava practically purred in contentment as Rosaline stroked over her hair, always loving when her cousin did so since they were children. She hummed happily as she was given a donut to eat before she shrugged, "It's...not always horrible, but it hasn't been all that great. And honestly...maybe I've never studied this hard, but I;ve never felt like this before. Just....utterly drained. And maybe it's lugging all my books around to the library but I swear my lower back has been killing m lately too." She knew she was just complaing at this point but oh well.
Rosaline continued the cycle of asking for more details followed by bribery with donut until they were out of donuts but she had learned a great deal and despite Ava's continued insistence that she was fine the young actress was still worried about her cousin, though she didn't say anything and put all her skills into effect to reassure Ava. "I definitely owe you a new box of donuts now," she teased, "I'll bring some round first thing in the morning so you get your /oh so healthy/ breakfast." The pair continued to talk and in Rosaline's case tease and when Rosaline spotted Ava's eyes drifting closed she simply kept talking, keeping her cousin safe in her arms and her fingers running soothingly through Ava's hair. When she ran out of things to say she moved on to practicing some of her lines for an upcoming performance which was when she knew for sure her cousin had drifted into a deep sleep as Ava didn't stir at all. Before long Rosaline's own dark eyes began to close and her eyelids became very heavy before she finally stopped fighting it and drifted to sleep herself.
Rosaline: [I'll put a separator line in here for the main post]
Rosaline became dimly aware of the sudden quiet in the room as the tv was turned off and she sensed there was someone else there. She lifted her head and tried to force her eyes open, through her blurry vision she saw Sin wearing what could best be described as an 'awww' face with a gentle smile. The Dom pointed to a blanket for Rosaline before bending down to lift his girl off Rosaline's lap. Rosaline watched Sin carry Ava like she was a delicate glass statue out of the room and up to their bed before she haphazardly draped the blanket over herself and drifted straight back to sleep. The dreams she had while sleeping we very strange, Ava featured in them a lot as of course did Tru but it was like her mind was trying to build a jigsaw that her conscious self was completely blind to until the picture was completed in her dream and she could see it clearly. Rosaline suddenly sat bolt upright, the blanket falling to the floor and she was breathing heavily as if she had just run a long way. "Oh my God Ava," she whispered to herself and grabbed her phone to quickly google something. The results shocked her more and more as she continued reading. Everything Ava had mentioned being /wrong/ with her that night was listed on this page, every one. The dark haired girl's initial reaction was one of pure joy but her smile faded quickly, her head suddenly filled with more questions she didn't have the answers to but also one thing of which she was certain - they had to be sure before doing anything. Rosaline laid down once again and drifted in and out of an uneasy sleep, she slept through Sin leaving for work the next morning but she would never be able to sleep through the sounds and smells of Ava making coffee in the kitchen so she moved to join her cousin, feeling a nervousness rising in her that she had never felt around Ava before. "Hey sleeping beauty, sleep well?" she teased as she leaned on the doorframe and rubbed her eyes. "I'm gonna run and grab donuts, is there anything else we need while I'm out?" There was something else she was going to pick up but she wasn't going to mention that, she hoped she would work out a way of raising the subject while walking to the store and back.
Ava stirred when Sin woke up, the Dom's arms sliding away, leaving her with a kiss and soft words whispered in her ear and she stayed dozing in bed for a little while longer before finally getting up. She felt a bit queasy but managed to overall keep herself in check and she went to the kitchen, peeking at Rosaline still asleep before she started on the coffee. No sooner was the smell of it in the air though that she heard a voice and she looked over, giving her cousin a smile as she nodded, "I did. I would've stayed in bed longer too but I think Sin put on a bit too much cologne this morning because the smell of it was making me nauseous so I needed to move." She said it easily, even laughing as she said it and not thinking much of it as she shrugged, "Not really. I was actually going to make some french toast, so I'll get a start on that while you're gone. Hurry back! Otherwise I can't promise I won't eat it all, I'm starving already."
Rosaline chuckled softly as she listened to her cousin but a soft little voice in the back of her mind was telling her it /wasn't/ Sin's cologne causing her to be nauseous but she wasn't about to say anything, not yet. Instead she smirked playfully and nodded. Miss Tru does that, a lot of the time I love it because it lingers and I can smell her all day but other times it's whoa can't actually breathe." It took all of her acting training to hide the painful lurch in her stomach when Ava mentioned her appetite and instead she giggled mischievously. "Your appetite will become as legendary as Volstagg's from Thor if you carry on like this," she teased with a wink. "I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying," she added as she swiftly left to go and get the donuts. Rosaline felt perfectly fine on the way to the store and even buying what she needed, which included some things for herself, not just to test her theory, but it was after she got the donuts and started hurrying home that her nerves hit her. She had no idea how Ava would react whatever happened. "I'm back, did you miss me?" she called out as she re-entered her cousin's home, "more importantly did you save me toast?" She returned to the kitchen and placed the donuts on the table, holding up the bag from the pharmacist. "I realized I ran out of painkillers and heat pads so I stocked up as I was nearby," she said to explain the presence of the bag.
Ava rolled her eyes but smiled, "Oh ha ha." She replied sarcastically before sending her off with a wave. While Rosaline was gone Ava got to work on breakfast, sipping her coffee as she made french toast and some eggs on the side too since she was pretty hungry. While everything was cooking she set the table for the two of them and everything was just finishing up as the door opened again and she looked over with a grin, "I did. But you missed the food, so..." She teased, sticking her tongue out at her before nodding to where all the food was still on the stove to keep hot, the table already set so they could serve themselves and eat. She looked at the pharmacy bag curiously but nodded at Rosa's explanation, smiling as she moved to get herself a plate of food and went to the table to begin eating.
Rosaline stuck her own tongue out in response to Ava and then smirked. "I'll tell Sin to find a use for that if you keep sticking it out," she teased with a giggle. She plated up some food, taking a little extra as she was also rather hungry and filled a rather large mug with coffee before sitting herself down at the table. Again she felt her nerves building and the worse they got the less she knew she could act them away and Ava would work out there was something wrong. She glanced at her cousin, desperately trying to think of what to say and how but no words came so she distracted herself with coffee for a moment then looked back again, unable to hide the concern in her eyes. "Ava... I know I can be a total pain in the ass and I make you talk about things you don't want to, but you trust me right?"
Ava huffed, pursing her lips at her, "You say that like he doesn't already." She shot back with a quirk of her eyebrow before moving to sit down at the table. She felt a shift in the atmosphere around them though, not as relaxed as it always felt and she glanced over at Rosaline to see her cousin was watching her, looking...conflicted, and Ava lowered her forkful of food, frowning a bit in confusion at the question, "I..yeah. Rosie, of course I do. I trust you completely. ...Why? What's going on?" She asked, putting her fork down altogether and shifting in her seat to face her better, "Are you okay?"
Rosaline smiled and put her own fork down. Ava had of course seen through her and now there was no turning back, which was probably a good thing as she needed answers and though Ava didn't know it yet, so would she. Rosaline shifted her own seat to be closer to her cousin. "Yeah, I'm fine I just... there's something on my mind, that's all." She reached out and placed a hand gently on Ava's and instantly regretted it as now her cousin would feel her trembling. "I did some digging last night and found something... and I might be completely wrong, which is fine, but I might be right, in which case we need to know so... there's something I need you to do for me, I don't know what you'll think and you may not like it but... will you do it? Please? For me?"
Ava had seen every part of Rosaline growing up, had seen her happy and sad and angry and hurt, but seeing her like this now made Ava's already-delicate stomach twist unpleasantly. She looked down at their hands when Rosa's went on hers, biting her lip as she listened and shook her head, "Rosaline..you're starting to scare me a bit." She told her quietly, frowning, "You know I'd do anything for you, you're my sister..."
Rosaline found she couldn't form words any more so keeping one hand on Ava's she used her free hand to grab the pharmacy bag and take out a long thin box, one of many that was in the bag. Making sure the side with the clearest picture and title was facing upwards Rosaline slid the pregnancy test towards Ava, watching her cousin's face to see her reaction. "The sickness, the tiredness, aching lower back, the appetite, drinking loads of water. Even certain cravings," she added gesturing towards the french toast which she had noticed a definite increase in Ava's requests for it recently. "They're all... signs."
Ava was starting to feel a bit of panic creeping up in her as Rosaline grabbed the bag. Was her cousin sick? Was this the beginning of something bad? Her breath hitched in her throat, not knowing what to expect. And then Rosaline pulled something out of the bag that came so out of left field it left her stunned silent. She thought Rosa was about to take out something like medication, was about to reveal some dark, terrible secret...but then she saw the pregnancy test and her breath punched out of her for a completely different reason. She stayed quiet as Rosaline spoke, her hand going slack in her cousin's and her heart lurching before pumping in double time. She....she couldn't be. No. It...it wasn't possible. She was only twenty-one (twenty-two in a couple days but still). She was finishing up school now, they were building a house, only now were they really talking about saving up their money to start a family some day in the distant future. Everything was still so new for them... "R..Rosie, I don't...--I.."
Rosaline saw the waves of conflicting emotions cycling through Ava's features and hated that she hadn't found a better way of asking, a way without making her cousin worry or get concerned. She felt Ava's hand go slack but tightened her own grip, not letting Ava pull away. Rosaline wasn't going anywhere, regardless of whatever happened next and she tried to convey that through the subtle gesture and the supportive, loving smile which now graced her features. "I might be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, I'm wrong about things all the time. But I know it would eat me up if I didn't check, if /we/ didn't check. No matter what that says I'll be here and we'll work it out, I promise."
Ava 's mouth had gone dry, she couldn't speak, couldn't even really think past the ringing in her ears. But now she was piecing it all together. She'd been so tired... and she thought it'd been food poisoning but that'd been weeks ago. Just this morning she felt like she was going to throw up just from Sin's usual cologne..... She looked at the box on the table again and then to the bag, seeing what looked like another in there as well and she exhaled then, biting her lip. "You...you really think I'm...?"
Rosaline reached across the table to move Ava's glass of water in front of her, her cousin had gone rather pale and even if she wasn't pregnant she needed to look after herself. "I think there's a chance," she replied softly still not letting go of her cousin's hand. "And I think we need to be sure so I got several." She ran her thumb across Ava's hand and smiled warmly. "Don't worry, I won't start asking how much sex you've been having," she added in a desperate attempt to lighten the mood just a little. "But what I think doesn't really matter. What do /you/ think?"
Ava swallowed again when Rosaline spoke, feeling like her heart was going to beat right out her chest as she looked at the box again. She didn't crack a smile at the attempt of the joke as she instead really did start thinking about how much sex she'd been having with Sin. All of it always unprotected. She wanted to be a mom, and she knew Sin wanted to be a dad, but she also knew they had so many plans and so many things going on right now that....that this would throw a serious wrench into things. And honestly? She didn't know how he'd react. "I..." she slid her hand out from Rosaline's to instead reach for the little box, her fingers slightly shaky, "I think I..need to find out now.."
Rosaline nodded and smiled supportively as Ava reached for the box. "I'll be right here so just shout if you need anything. You can wait and see the result by yourself or we'll do it together, or I'll look and tell you. It's entirely up to you. Whatever you need Ava just tell me, I know it's hard but I'm here for you. I will be no matter what." Once Ava had left the room Rosaline let out a long, shuddering breath. She felt awful for putting Ava in this position but deep down she knew it was the right thing to do, at least they would know and then go from there. She sat in silence staring at her coffee more than drinking it, ready to react and do whatever her cousin needed of her.
Ava silently nodded, her fingers tightening around the box, all thoughts of breakfast long gone as she instead grabbed for the rest of the bag too, looking inside to see three other tests in there, all different brands. At least Rosaline was thorough. She looked to her cousin then, meeting her eyes, her own gaze looking a bit scared as she just nodded and moved, disappearing down the hall to the bathroom. She just sat there for a minute, staring at the boxes on her lap, her thoughts whirling around. It's not like she thought something terrible like Sin leaving her and breaking their claim, not at all, but...she was nervous. She knew this wasn't in the plan right now... She closed her eyes for a second, fingers brushing over her collar before she nodded to herself and opened the boxes and used them, heart racing the whole time. Once done she put them out on a little towel, washing her hands and setting the timer on her phone for five minutes before she walked out, leaving it all behind as she went to the kitchen, "Can you..." She trailed off, biting her lip as she held her hand out for Rosaline to come over to her, knowing she couldn't find out alone.
Rosaline heard Ava's soft footsteps approaching and fixed her warm smile back on her face and felt another swelling of guilt rise within her when she saw Ava looking so nervous. "Of course, anything you need," she replied as she slid off her chair straight away and took Ava's hand, giving it a squeeze the moment their hands touched. The pair headed towards the bathroom but Ava faltered just before reaching the door. "C'mere," Rosaline said softly and pulled her cousin into a loving embrace, her hand running gently up and down Ava's back. When she pulled away she gazed into Ava's eyes and whispered. "You're amazing." She then took Ava's hand again, holding it tightly. "Ok, deep breath, on three we go in and look, ok?" At this point she wasn't sure who she was trying to help more, Ava or herself but she took a deep breath and counted. "1... 2... 3..."
Ava felt her heart beating harder with every step closer Rosa took and once close enough she took her hand, lacing their fingers together and squeezing, shifting closer. She let her cousin lead the way then, following her, just like she'd always done since they were little girls. She paused at the doorway though, hesitant. Rosa's arms were around her then though, hugging her and soothing her and she hugged back, closing her eyes for a few moments before she nodded, more to herself than anything, and then moved. "Okay." She agreed, letting out a long, slow breath, closing her eyes again as Rosaline counted before nodding and moving, walking inside. She led over to the sink counter, to where the four pregnancy tests all rested innocently and she squeezed Rosa's hand once more before letting go and taking the final step. She looked down then at them and instantly felt a flood of emotions wash over her, like a bucket of water dousing over her. Two lines. A plus sign. Positive. Pregnant. "I-I'm..."
Rosaline felt like her heart was going to beat it's way out of her chest as the pair moved ever closer to the sink, she was bombarded by so many different emotions that she wasn't sure she would be able to name them all and those were followed by a completely different set, yet just intense emotions as her eyes ran from one test to the next, all showing the same result. "Ava... I..." Words failed her but her constantly caring for Ava nature kicked in and she wrapped an arm around her cousin's waist. Anything could happen after such a shock and Rosaline would be there to catch or steady her cousin if needed. Using the arm she guided Ava slowly over to the chair on the other side of the room. "Here, sit down a minute, we'll head to the sofa whenever you're ready." With Ava sat down Rosaline knelt in front of her and took both of Ava's hands in her own, squeezing them and caressing her thumb over their surface. She focused entirely on Ava, pushing her own emotions to the side to be dealt with later but her cousin was her priority. "I don't know what to say. Congratulations?"
Ava just focused on breathing, the ringing in her ears being replaced now by a whooshing sound as she stared down at the tests. All of them different, but all of them showing the same result. There was such a thing as a false positive. But four? Not likely. She felt Rosaline's arm go around her and she immediately leaned into her cousin's side, letting out a slow, shaky breath, moving on autopilot as she let herself be led over to the little stool in the bathroom and seated down. She was a bit zoned out as Rosa knelt in front of her and grabbed her hands, but when she felt the squeeze to them she focused- just in time to hear the word. Congratulations. It slowly started sinking in then. She was pregnant. There was a baby forming inside of her. Hers and Sin's. She felt another wave of emotions at that thought and almost unconsciously she moved one of her hands out of Rosaline's and pressed it to her stomach. Just last night she'd complained that her jeans weren't fitting.... She kept her hand then, pressing gently, and her thoughts drifted again, but this time it was to thoughts of a baby, as they had many times in the past. Hers and Sin's. It'd always been a daydream though, a someday. But now it was real and happening and she felt tears welling up in her eyes as she blinked her gaze up to meet Rosaline's, looking more than a little overwhelmed but....not terrified. At least, not completely. "I'm pregnant." she said it again, but this time mystified, the corners of her lips almost turning up into a smile as she exhaled again. "I'm pregnant."
Rosaline gave Ava all the time she needed, not saying anything just being there and being supportive. She could almost see the thoughts chasing their way around her cousin's head as her features changed with each new emotion. She let Ava's hand slip easily from her own and Rosaline's features lit up in a huge smile when she saw where the hand had gone. Her free hand moved to wipe away a tear that had fallen from her eye. Finally Ava spoke and that faraway smile crept onto her features which just made Rosaline's smile brighten even further. "Yes, you are," she said really softly, not even sure if her cousin would hear as she was still clearly lost in her own world. When Ava repeated herself it seemed more like she was returning to the here and now and Rosaline reached up to wipe the tears from Ava's cheeks this time. "You're going to be a mommy, and an amazing one too." She beamed up at Ava and occasionally giggled as the realisation slowly hit her too. They had always been more like sisters than cousins and Rosaline beamed as the words 'Auntie Rosie' floated through her mind but she didn't say anything, this was Ava's moment, she was just the one privileged enough to be here with her for it. Once she was sure Ava had recovered enough to be more interactive again Rosaline raised her free hand and her eyes flicked to Ava's stomach. "May I?" She asked with a huge grin lighting up her features.
Ava hadn't even realized she'd started crying until Rosaline's hand was there, fingers wiping away her tears and she sniffled a bit, her smile finally real as Rosa called her a mommy. She was going to be a mom. She let out a breath, smiling more as her hand rubbed over her still-flat stomach, just the smallest bit of roundness to it already that she'd been chalking up to too many donuts and nutella sandwiches (and now she had an explanation for those too). She looked over when Rosa's hand moved, hovering, and she let out a breath as she nodded, "There's not much there yet....although it's nice to know it's not just all the junk food I've been eating." She joked lightly, still sounding a bit out of it, overwhelmed, but she moved her hand over Rosaline's to press it against her stomach, giving her cousin a watery smile even as she shook her head, "I'm having a baby."
Rosaline wasn’t really sure why she had made the request to touch Ava’s stomach, it had only been last night that she’d done it and teased her cousin but as her hand touched the warm skin she was hit by another rush of emotions.  “I guess I can’t complain about only getting a third of the donuts now,” she teased softly.  “You’re going to be the most amazing mommy ever Ava but if ever you need anything I’ll be there, no matter what.  I’ll do whatever you need.”  It went without saying as she the girls had always looked after each other but Rosaline still felt the need to say it.  She continued to beam at Ava and wipe the tears from her cousins face, letting Ava recover and process the news in her own time and feeling honoured to be able to share the moment with her.  “Are you ok?”
Ava felt her own swell of emotions as Rosaline touched her stomach, feeling a wave of overwhelm at the thought that there was currently a baby growing inside her. When asked if she was okay she nodded and moved her hand over Rosalines, squeezing gently “I know you’re here for me. You always have been. And....and you’re gonna be the best auntie ever. Gonna spoil them rotten.” She laughed as she said it, tears still clinging to her eyelashes as she let out a breath “..At least now Sin doesn’t have to worry as much about me being sick? I..I know he’s been scared, even if he hasn’t said anything..” she rolled her lips into her mouth, staring down at herself “I just..need to figure out how to tell him first..”
Rosaline smirked at her cousin and felt a rush of relief hearing her laugh, it showed she was recovering from the shock and getting back to her old self again - or more like figuring out who her new-baby carrying self was.  "Damn right I am, and I am gonna be such a bad influence," she teased as she rubbed her hand really gently over Ava's stomach.  "He'll be relieved to know for sure that nothing's wrong but I imagine he'll be doing more than a little fussing now."  When Ava looked down Rosaline shifted to look up at her once again, offering a supportive smile.  "You'll do a better job of it than I did asking you to take the test," she said in a soothing voice.  "When you're up to it we can go and cuddle on the sofa, eat donuts and work out how you're going to tell him if you like?  Or just the cuddles and donuts.  Whatever you need Ava."
Ava smiled more, shaking her head fondly at the thought of her being a 'bad influence'. Her expression softened as Rosa continued and she hummed softly, nodding, "Yeah....I know he'll be relieved I'm not sick or something but..definitely yes, he'll be fussy. I just...hope it's not too much of a shock. I mean....this clearly wasn't planned..and we have so much going on right now..." she let out a breath, shaking her head, "I'll figure it out. Telling him. For now let's just get out of the bathroom, hmm? I wasn't finished with breakfast and, well...I am eating for two now apparently.."
Rosaline continued to smirk as she nodded along with what Ava was saying.  "He won't be the only one who fusses you know.  You think I'm bad now, you just wait.  I promise I'll do my best to hold back as much as I can but... you know I'm going to be a pain.  I think it'll be a shock for sure but he'll be just as happy as you are."  She smiled supportively and nodded.  "Breakfast sounds good, you now have the perfect excuse to eat what you want when you want.  I'm so jealous!"  She teased and nudged her cousin, helping her back to her feet when she was ready.
Ava rolled her eyes again but smiled as she nodded, "I know you will......and then there's the whole situation of telling my parents..." that was another struggle she didn't want to think abiout right now though. "That's another issue for another day though." She looked down again for a moment, her thoughts in a whirlwind as she stood and took Rosa's hand. This wasn't what she was expecting right now. She was turning 22 in just a couple days, was going to graduate soon, was building a house with her Dom. But now this was happening and her life was about to change forever. She pressed her hand to her stomach again as they walked, letting out a long, slow breath. They could handle this. Her and Sin. She just needed to figure out how to tell him first.

The Big Four:And the missing gem (Book 1)
Chapter 3: Continuation
Jack’s POV:
I guess me being a sissy back then has made Merida’s life worth hell.I looked across the table, her read fiery hair outstanding the others. Her hair was everywhere but she was cute enough, okay what the hell Jack?! “You’re staring at her again,Jack.”Eugene said,”I do not. It’s just her hair is eye-catching.”Oh really?” Guy said, wiggling his eyebrows.I laughed but I was still looking at her, she was talking at a blond girl with side bangs.”You know, the best way to apologize to a princess is giving her flowers and chocolates?””What the hell Eugene?!””Eugene laughed,I rolled my eyes, I saw guy was talking to a girl named Rebecca. She seemed nice,I can tell by how she says sorry so much.I over heard their conversation,'Im really sorry about knocking you out a while ago.''Nah,no worries!' I let out a scoff,Eugene looked at me then looked at guy."Well, would you look at that.Guy seems to be the girl catcher,eh?" He said, wr both laughed so hard I thought I was going to faint.
As Nicholas dismissed all of us,I decided to sneak out after they’ve showed us the dorm. The head boy and head girl aligned us, separating the male and female.”Allow me to introduce myself,I am Scar.””And I am Emma.We are your Head boy and Head girl. Please remember to follow us,no one must leave the group.Follow the line and remember,if anything happens scream out our names.”Emma said, she and Scar walked out of the Dining hall as everyone followed.Me and Eugene exchanged looks, it seems we were far from the Dining hall.We turned Right, then walked a long corridor. And there it was,our dorm.It was huge! Like it was our own castle.”Emma and Scar stopped, they looked at us and spoke.”As you can see This place is the Hydra’s dormitories. We are a little far away but it doesn’t matter.”Emma said, trying to headcount before entering.
“First of all,we have different dormitories in this castle like structure. The first years are on the first floor, second years on second, and so on and so forth.Almost every dorm in the other houses have are spread out.At least it’s convenient for you guys,The higher your year level, the far you are from the Dining Hall and classes. At least here in Hydra,it’s only far away from the Dining Hall.”Scar said,They then went inside the building,as we went inside, the other years are scrambling up,”Its almost night time, you better be in your dorms!”Emma shouted, everyone hurriedly got up,running for their dear life.
“So here is the Lobby, everyone is free to stay here and do all the things you need.”You also have your own living rooms for each dorm.Scar said,,”Before letting you go, We would like to give you these simple rules. The first one is everyone must clean up the lobbyand your living room.If you happen to be the last person to use the lobbyand living room, please, clean up your place.”Emma stated, emphasizing the word clean.”Rule number two, don’t forget to greet one another since we are all in this together. And it’s better to make friends. But please no bullying around here.”Scar said, looking at Emma who seemed to be,blushing?
”W-We have a long history of how Hydra’s are depicted as evil. Please, let us change that.We might be mischievous but we aren’t all that bad.”“So with that, welcome first years and I hope you have a pleasant night."Scar shouted before pointing to where our dormitories are.”As you enter each of your dorms, you still have a living room where you can relax.Everyone has their own room so best be having chit-chats on your living room.”Scar said and left the boys to do what they need. The girls went to their rooms while us went also. Eugene,Guy and I aren’t far from each other, they’re just two rooms away from me.Each room has his name plates on the doors. As I opened my room,I saw my white bunny nibbling on a carrot. He looked cute enough for me to get him out of the cage and hug him"Oh jamie, you look so cute I can't!" I said,After looking around the room, there was a switch where it can snow.Strange,I decided to flick it, and it really snowed in my room,My staff was on top of my drawer, looking like the stick you could find.
I shouted with glee, jumping from my bed to the couch,I even tried to make snowballs.I was about to relax when I remembered I needed to apologize to Merida."But do I really have to?"I asked myself, I can just apologize tomorrow.I migbt risk my self from getting caught, but I'm already feeling bad about what happened to Merida back then.So I quickly took a shower, changed into my PJ’s and tried to be stealthy as possible.
Merida’s POV:
The Academy was pretty huge, it was as if I was living in a real, huge castle.I quickly got two Scottish Pie,everyone looked at me,”Wha’?I’m starvin’!” I chuckled letting out a snort in the making, The girl that hiccup was with a while agi then changed sits with the girl beside me.”Hi.””Uhm,Hi.”I replied, trying to flip away her bangs so she could see me.”I’m Astrid by the way.””Merida, nice te meet ye Astrid.” I said, smiling at her.”Well Merida, are you really a princess?”She asked, smirking at me,I gave her a ‘what-kind-of-question-is-that’ look. But I nodded, taking a mouthful of Mash potatoes and a turkey.Astrid giggled,”At least you aren’t what other princess are.”
I gave her a smile,we continued to chat and to be honest,it was fun talking to her.”So wait, Hiccup was really scrawny back then?”I said, trying not to laugh. She laughed with me and nodded,”Yeah, but we then went dating after the whole Dragon fiasco in Berk.””An’ how long ye been guys datin’?”About 3 years now.”She said, trying to conceal a blush.I nodded, she was obviously in love with Hiccup.I laughed at her,how her cheeks was turning red.I took my last pie and tried to eat it whole.Everyone laughed at me,”Dan’ it.It doesn’ fit on me mouth.”I said, as I slice it in three, still big enough but at least it fits in my mouth now.My eyes wondered off, laying my eyes on Hiccup,he was looking at me.So I nudged Astrid,he looked at me then looked to what I was looking. We gave him a smile and a wave.He waved back, and I wanted to eat the pie so badly that I almost choked to death.
“Woah woah woah,Easy their tiger.”Astrid said, as she hand me a glass of water.I gulped it fast, and let out a sigh of relief.”Thanks Astrid, I thought I was going to die.”I said sarcastically,we both laugh, she was drinking milking but she spat it in front of a girl named Eep."Hey!""I'm so sorry I didn't mean to.Merida, look what you've done!" I looked at her, laughing"Me?I wasn't the one who spat on her." I tried not to laugh, Eep was already laughing, the panicked face Astrid made me laugh so hard I stumbled off on my sit.Everyone looked at me,I gave a sheepish smile and said,"Well,my bum is big enough to save meh."Everyone let out a laugh,I sat back down beside Astrid, she was clutching her stomach for the love of Mo'rdu.I finished my pie, and got an apple as my final meal of the night.”Yo red head, ya might want to tone it down a bit. You’re going to explode.”Some guy with a grin plastered on his face,I looked at him in the eye, deadly enough for him to be startled,”And ye better shut up, or ye head might explode.”I said, as I got out my bow and arrow.”Merida, don’t, we’ll start with him tomorrow.”Astrid said and glared at the man.The guy looked away, as his comrades laughed at him.Nicholas dismissed the students, every upper year levels went to their dorm while all the first years were left.
The head boy and head gal counted us first before nodding that everyone was here.”Hello everyone and welcome to North Academy.I’m Fryer.”And am Lily. You’re majesty, it’s my greatest day to finally meet ye.”The head girl looked at me and bowed down.”Erm,please don’ do that.Just let me be like the others.I feel left out.”I said, she nodded and gave a smile.”Before ye get goin’ te your dorms. Please do a straight line, the boys and gals separated.”Lily said and trying to separate each one of us.Astrid was in front of me,and the girl named Eep was at my back.”Now,before we leave I want you guys to remember the location of your Dorms. Each year level has it’s own dorms. But for now, your dorm is a little far away from the Dining Hall and some other rooms.”Fryer said, Both of them then left the room, everyone tailing them,I tried memorizing the directions but my eyes kept on wandering to the yetis who happened to roam around with a wooden broom.A few minutes later we finally reached our destination. The dorm was a little far away. But we where near the big meadow and the dorm of the 3rd years of Sphinx.
“Before we enter, this door is fire proof, and sturdy enough, since we’re in the meadow,it occasionally gets bombarded with weapons  and fire.”Lily stated,As we enter, the room was covered with red and orange decorations.”Okay woah,I think my eyes are melting.”Astrid said, trying not to laugh but failed.”I’ll explain a little about this dorm. This is the living room. Please use it wisely, clean up your stuff if you ever use this place. If you want to let other houses to come in,be sure to keep an eye on them.Especially the Hydra’s they’ve been doing Mischief for how long.”Fryer said,Lily rolled her eyes at him.”But please,be kind enough to everyone, most especially to the Hydra’s they might be doing things for no good, but they are trying to change their name after the incident with a student.”Lily said, everyone murmured, whispering from each other.
Fryer face palmed, “Lily, please.Don’t tell them.”Ahm sorry.”She said, lowering her head.Fryer looked at him momentarily but looked away.”First rule is again, please go back to the dorms immediately. No loitering around in campus.Rule number two,if someone fights, let them be surrounded and don’t let them escape. If they have done wrong, its best to let them talk to one another.”Fryer said,”Never, ever forget rule number 2.Compassion is what makes our bond strong.Be-friend one another, you’ll need it to protect one another.”Lily said and smiled. After the rules explained, Fryer and Lily escorted us to our separate room. The Boys went to a corridor from the right while us from the left.As we open the dorm, the long corridor greeted us.
”Find your rooms, every room has a name plate on it.”Lily said and left.I looked at Astrid, she was in the first room.”Well would you look at that,It’s easy for me to go in and out.”She said,I looked for my room, and I was 4 rooms away from her.”Hey Astrid, I’m here!” I shouted,Astrid nodded and we both went to take a bath and change to our sleeping attires. “Well, goodnight Merida.”Astrid said,I waved back and was about to go into my room when she shouted,”Don’t forget to brush your hair!”Astrid said, laughing at me.I laughed at the joke and went to my room.My bow and arrow on the table.I saw the tapestry me mom and I made.It made the room like home.I heard a neighing, and saw Angus in the room left to my Bed.”Angus! Yer here! Why ye hiding here boy?Are ye trying to surprise me?”I said, patting its body.He neighed and nibbled on my hair.I let out a laugh.”Yer a sweetie, aren’t ye?”I said,I took out an apple in my backpack.”Here ya go boy!”I said, and gave it to Angus. My room was pretty big on the inside.I have my own stable for crying out loud!
I took the pitchfork and got some hay for Angus. My saddle was their, even Angus feeder was their! I designed it myself, carving me and Angus riding through the air.”G’night Angus.Rest well.” I said and went to bed.But I couldn’t sleep, something was bothering me and I don’t know why.So I got out of my room,I took a peak in the room and only Astrid was their.I went to her,”Heya Astrid.””Hey Merida.”she said, giving me a sleepy smile.”Why don’t ya sleep?” “I can’t,Stormfly has been ruining my dream by snorting a lot.”She said giggling,”If ye want,ye can stay at my room for now.”She gave me a smile,”Sure!I’ll be glad.”She said and stood up,”Astrid,I’m goin’ out.Rest assured,I’m just goin’ to roam around.””But what if someone sees you?””Of course no one can,I’ll be like a shadow, lurkin’ away.”I said mimicking a shadow by hiding from the curtains.Astrid laughed,”Well, be sure not to get caught.I’ll try to make a fake Merida.” she said and left the living room.
I took my cloak from the bedroom and left the dorm quietly.I sneaked out, trying not to be seen by the Head boys and girls of each Houses. After a little walk, I saw a white headed boy, lurking from the shadows. Mo’rdu, please don’t tell me I saw a ghost.I took a peek to find the boy gone.’Please, don’t be a ghost.’I murmured,I quickly hear chatters.I sat down and blended myself from the shadow,I thank my cloak to really blend from the dark.”And this girl had this wild hair!If only you saw it.It was cool.”The head boy of Sphinx said, as their voice went to a murmur.I quickly got from one place to another, when I finally saw a tree not far from a lake.It was blooming so much that the petals were scattered on the ground.I sat down behind the tree,as I inhaled the fresh air outside.
It felt like home, but of course,I won’t be home for now.I tried not to cry but I failed miserably.I wiped away the tears, thinking I’m far away from my home.Suddenly I heard rustling from the bushes that surrounded me.I didn’t bring my bow,I was terrified, but luckily I knew how to fight with my own hands.I stand up, looking at the rustling bushes, suddenly Jack got out of the bush.”Ugh! It’s itchy.”He said,I looked at him or should I say glared at him.He looked at my way,”Erm,hi?” He said,”What ye want Frost boy.”I spatted out,he looked at me,embarrassed to even speak.”I’m-,I-I-””Spit it out ya buffoon!”I said, shouting but as low as my voice could go.He let out a sigh and looked at me sternly.”Merida Dunbroch,my sincerest apology from our past encounter.”He said and knelt down, I looked at him dumbfounded,”I’m teribbly sorry for what I did back then.I was just really into your hair and accent that I got carried away.I know I may be naughty, but please.Could you give this Frost a chance?”He asked, looking at me with those blue eyes of his.
I didn’t want to laugh, but I couldn't take it.I laughed shortly after he stood up, trying to conceal the noise I was producing.I couldn’t take it,I even clutched my stomach,I thought it was being ripped apart.”What’s so funny?”He asked, his eyes revealed a sad look.I stood up,trying myself to stop laughing.I took a deep breath and said,”Yer forgiven. But please, don’ do tha’.You look like yer my servant who got tangled into some trouble.”I said smirking at him.Placing hand on my hips.He gave out a sigh of relief,he went near me and got out his hand.”Well, let’s start this from the top.Hi,I’m Jack.”I let out a giggle, surely this is funny enough.”And I’m Merida,I’m glad to meet ya frosty.”I said and let out a chuckle. He looked at me funnily and said,”Well red,at least I got to be-friend a un-tamed princess like you.”He said,I punched him on the arm, he winced from the impact."Ow!I thought we are good?!" "Well you called me red, and un-tamed.Who calls a person like that?" i sarcastically said,I laughed, after a while he joined giggling with me.We suddenly heard chatters,so we ran fast as we can to leave the place.
“Well princess, I bid you adieu.”He said and bowed down to me.I punched him in the arm, laughing at his actions.”Stay frosty white boy.”I said and snickered at his expression.I went running to our dorm, the others are already sleeping. So I quickly got into my room, removing the cloak and went to sleep beside Astrid, who was sleeping like a cat.
Rapunzel’s POV:
Me and Hiccup wasn’t able to sleep. he got out after sleeping for a few hours but couldn’t continue. We were in the living room, looking at the ceiling.”Hey Hiccup, do you know Eugene?””No,why?””Oh nothing,I saw him a while ago staring at me.I was wondering if you knew him.”I said, letting out a giggle.Hiccup looked at me,”Oh,so the little blondie here is in love I see?”He tease. I rolled my eyes,”I can’t say I love him,but I like him.I guess.””How did you know him?”He asked,”Oh you see,we live in the same place.Corona,I am,well a princess of Corona. And he was just another guy from my land.””Oh,really.Just another guy?”He teased, I let out a laugh.
”Well I thought so,I kept on seeing him around doing all sorts of jobs.””And you just went,’I think I like this guy.’Am I right?” He asked,I nodded to his answer and obviously I blushed.”Well, there’s a lot of time to know him Punzie, but if you want.I’ll help you out.”He said and gave a smile,”Would you really?” I asked trying not to squeal from glee.He nodded but let out a yawn.”Well,I’ll be going to sleep now Punzie. Goodnight.”He said and went off to the boys room.I also let out a yawn,I was beginning to drift away to dreamland.I quickly got up and went to my room.Nuzzled myself to sleep.
I finally have finished the continuation of the 3rd Chapter! I can feel my fingers trembling from typing and writing the whole story. I hope you have a great day lads and laddies! Tata for now,and wait for my other update tomorrow!
Btw, I’m not going to do Jackunzel here. It’s because, well i’ll keep that as a secret for now!

a story of late nights, unorthodox household plants, and a trip to Vegas that changes everything
“How was your date?” he asked, clearing his throat. He glanced over at her when he paused at an intersection, waiting for her response.
She rolled her eyes, thinking back to the disaster of a night she’d had. “It was alright,” she clipped back at him, leaning back into her seat.
“Really?” he raised a brow.
“Sure was.”
chapter six / story page
“So how do you know Harry?” Savannah and Alexa had been chatting to this guy for a solid ten minutes, and yet neither of the two remembered his name.
“I don’t,” he replied, the three of them watching as Harry flit through the crowds, coasters in his hands.
“It’s not that hard to bloody put your drink on this instead of the table,” he was telling someone, a worried frown on his face. “My dad will kill me if the oak is ruined.”
“Maybe we should help him?” Alexa offered, even as neither one of them made any move to do so.
“Or not,” the guy quirked a brow, evidently amused.
“We like to see him suffer,” Reyna shot as she walked past them with Louis, on their way to get another drink.
“I can’t believe he pulled it off. I was convinced that Harry would cancel this whole thing last minute,” Alexa mused, shaking her head at Louis as he walked by.
“I’m pretty sure Louis would’ve found some way to make it work,” the guy laughed, trying to find some traction within the conversation. He was obviously trying, and Savannah had to admire his audacity.
“How do you know Louis anyway?” she asked him, trying not to pay any attention to a very stressed looking Harry. She'd asked him how he'd been when she first walked into the flat and he'd almost pulled her into a conversation about the importance of disposable cups - which was not something Savannah really wanted to discuss at a party… or ever, really.
“Met him down at the bar a couple of weeks ago,” he shrugged. “He was raging on about how he always throws some of the best parties and when I scoffed in response he said he’d show me. So here I am, I guess.”
“Sounds like Louis,” Alexa agreed. “How are you finding the party so far?”
“It’s definitely entertaining,” he used his drink to gesture to where Harry was currently trying to pry a black marker out of the hands of a visibly wasted Louis.
“And this is one of Louis’ more tamer parties,” Sav cut in. “You should see the place when he goes all out. Harry would’ve killed him if he’d thrown one in his flat though.”
“I don’t doubt that. So how do you know Louis?” he changed the subject by directing the question solely at Savannah.
Alexa fought off a grin as her friend looked a little taken aback by the guys flirtatious tone. “I’m going to go help Harry out,” she told Sav slyly. “He looks like he can use a hand with Louis and Reyna’s not being much help,” she gestured to their friend who was standing in the corner twirling her hair between her fingers as she spoke to a man who looked like a lumberjack.
“Wait, Lex,” she tried to stop her from leaving but Alexa just twisted away from her before Sav could grab her arm.
“So, how do you know Louis?” he tried asking her again.
“He’s just a really good mate,” she replied. “Met him through another one of my best friends, Reyna. She’s known him since they were kids and he kind of just charged into our lives along with her,” she rambled.
“So you’re not dating him?” the guy - she still didn’t know his name - pushed.
Savannah shot him a strange look, “Um… no. Are you?”
The guy quirked a brow. “Dating him?”
“Oh! No - dating anyone, I mean,” she stammered on awkwardly. God, this was why her friends should never leave her on her own with someone she doesn't know.
“Right…” he grinned in reply, taking a sip of his drink before answering her. “Nah, I’m not dating anyone at the moment.”
“That’s… cool.” Savannah was in dire need of a distraction from the disaster that was this conversation.
“Do you go to UCL too?” he continued, looking over at her curiously.
“Yeah I do. Psych, actually,” she replied informatively. This guy was not letting up, and frankly, she was getting tired of trying to keep the dying conversation going.
“Oh, that’s really cool,” he commented awkwardly, not seeming quite sure where to take the conversation from there.
Savannah had to try and stop herself from rolling her eyes. Taking a deep breath, she checked herself - there was no need for her to be a bitch to the guy. He was just being nice. “Do you study?”
“Oh, I’m actually in the workforce already. Carpentry,” he answered. “I went straight into it after my A levels. Uni just wasn’t for me.”
“Fair enough,” she shrugged. “It’s not for a lot of people. As long as you like what you’re doing with yourself, that’s all that really matters. Work hard, play hard or whatever that saying is,” she waved her drink dismissively.
He snorted and when he next spoke Sav couldn’t help but note the slight bitterness to his tone. “For some of us that might ring true,” his eyes shot across the room where Harry was now being aided by Reyna as they tried to coerce an expensive looking crystal duck out of Niall’s hand. How cliche, she thought.
“What do you mean by that?” she asked him carefully.
“Just that most of the people here don’t look like they’ve worked a day in their life,” he said, lowly. “I mean, that bloke with the brown hair and ridiculous duck owns this place and he’s probably not even in any debt,” he shook his head. “Don’t think I’ll ever own a place like this no matter how hard I work,” he added wistfully.
“Yeah,” Savannah agreed, feeling a little bit more understanding of him suddenly. “Don’t think I will either.”
“It’s still a nice place to have parties, though,” he said, brightening up suddenly. “I’ve always preferred the bar myself, but this is a nice change of pace, I ‘spose. Have you ever been to the bar on fifth?” he questioned, not waiting for an answer before he continued. “You should come by, it’d be nice to see a pretty face more often.”
“Is that your way of asking me out?” she quirked a brow, even though all she wanted to do on the inside was run away. She really wasn’t looking to get back into dating.
“I guess,” he blushed a little, rubbing the back of his neck. “Only if you want it to be?” he posed as a question.
“You can pick her up on Friday night,” Alexa interrupted them, popping up behind Savannah and making her jump. “Here’s her number,” she handed him a neatly folded square of paper making Sav wonder just how long she’d been planning this.
Shooting a glare at her best friend, Savannah felt her face growing red rapidly as the guy glanced at the number in his hand before grinning and tucking it away. Alexa was going to pay for this.
“Great, I'll text you sometime tomorrow. Nice to meet you Alexa… and Savannah,” he waved before disappearing into the crowd.
“I’m warning you now, you better sleep with one eye open tonight,” Savannah growled at Alexa, who just shrugged nonchalantly.
“What? He was cute!” she said indignantly.
“And boring as hell,” Savannah added.
“Who knows? He might change your mind,” she grinned before grabbing Savannah’s arm. “Come on, let’s go check on the others. Niall’s been eyeing that bottle of Dom in that wine cabinet since he got there. Knowing Harry, it's probably vintage.”
“I don’t even know his name,” Savannah whined, following Lex.
“We’ll ask Louis once he’s sober,” Alexa shrugged, “You’re going on this date, it’ll be good for you.”
“That’s debatable,” she mumbled, not looking forward to Friday at all.
-
“Alexa I’m going to kill you,” Savannah muttered into her phone. “I can’t believe you made me agree to go on this bloody date and now you’re not picking up your phone,” she paused, allowing a car to pass by before she spoke again. “It’s half ten in the middle of the night and I’m freezing my bum off trying to find a bloody bus stop to try and get home because someone won’t answer their phone. Just, call me back when you get this message will you?” she sighed, ending the voicemail and swiftly crossing the road to where she could just make out a bus shelter.
The scene was eerily reminiscent of the time she’d run into Harry and Zayn - although Savannah supposed ‘run into’ was a nice way of putting it. She still felt guilty about the rather prominent bruise Harry had carried around with him for the better part of two weeks.
Sitting gingerly on the bus bench, she pulled out her phone once again, wondering whether she should take him up on the offer to call him for a ride. She fiddled with her phone for a little, contemplating whether it was worth putting her pride aside. “Screw it,” she muttered, unlocking her phone as a cool breeze sent a shiver down her spine.
Scrolling down to Harry’s contact, she paused, her thumb hovering over the call button before switching to the message icon - it was safer, she decided. Savannah quickly typed up a text, hitting send before she could chicken out.
Hey, are you still awake?
The bubble that indicated he was typing instantly appeared on the screen, followed promptly with a reply.
Yeah, what’s up?
Deciding it was now safe to call him, Savannah dialled his number. The dial tone rang only once before Harry was on the other end of the line.
“Hello?”
“Harry, hey. It’s Savannah,” she greeted him, her voice extra perky as she tried to butter him up to the favour.
Harry chuckled. “Yeah, I gathered as much,” he joked, and Savannah imagined him rolling his eyes. This was good. Sarcasm she could deal with. “What’s up?”
“Uh, I was hoping you could do me a favour?” she posed it as a question. When no reply came, she assumed he was waiting for her to finish. “Remember that time you said if I ever needed a ride and it was the middle of the night, to call?”
There was a slight pause. “Oh yeah,” Harry laughed. “When you clobbered me with your textbook.”
“Oi, I apologised for that,” Savannah defended herself, feeling the guilt creep up on her once again. “Besides, you shouldn’t have come screeching down the road like a serial killer ready to abduct their next victim anyway.”
“And maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to jump to unlikely conclusions,” Harry said down the line, and Savannah could hear the amusement behind his words. “So, you need me to pick you up?” he asked, sounding smug.
“Yes,” she reluctantly admitted. “But, I’d like to prefix that by saying that I tried calling Alexa but she wouldn’t answer, and Rey has gone underground with a pile of assignments that she has due soon, so it was either call you or wait an hour and a half for the next bus.”
“Why didn’t you just drive?” he asked, curiously.
“I never learnt how remember?” she shrugged.
“Right. Driving makes things so much easier, you know, you should really get onto that,” he advised her. “Yeah yeah, are you coming to get me or not?” she asked, unwilling to get into a discussion about why exactly she didn’t have her driver’s permit.
“I’m on my way,” Harry offered brightly and she could distinctly make out the sound of keys and a door closing in the background. “Whereabouts are you?”
“I’m at the bus stop on Earls Court Road. It’s opposite Nevern Place.”
“You’re in Kensington? What in the bloody hell are you doing there?” he questioned.
“I had a date,” Savannah replied glumly. “Not that it’s any of your business.”
“Don’t get snippy, I’m coming to pick you up, aren’t I?”
“Just hurry up will you? I’d rather not catch pneumonia tonight, thanks.”
Harry laughed lightly. “Be there in twenty,” he said, dropping the call straight after.
Savannah didn’t think time had ever passed so slowly before, and yet every time she checked her phone, it seemed as though time was slowing down. By the time Harry had arrived she was sure her fingers were about to fall off.
“Finally,” she said relieved as Harry reached over and opened the passenger side door from the inside. She wasted no time before jumping into the car, the heating instantly warming her up.
“Alright?” Harry asked, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye as he edged back onto the road.
Savannah shrugged. “I’ll live,” she muttered, holding her hands out in front of the heater for extra warmth. It was silent for a while as he drove and Savannah considered how best to go about asking him to stop for some food.
“Sure was.”
“Hm, is that why I’m picking you up at eleven at night?” he continued amusedly. “Because you know, if it wasn’t so bad, I can drop you back off and you can finish the night with a nice bang.”
“Piss off,” Savannah scoffed, fighting the urge to smile. “And fine, so it wasn’t the greatest date. But it doesn’t even crack the top ten worst first dates I’ve been on.”
“Oh, do tell,” Harry leaned forward, glancing from right to left, then right again, before turning into a side street.
“Only if we take a pitstop at McDonald’s,” she said, spotting the big yellow ‘M’ down the road. “I’m starving,” she confessed to him.
“You didn’t have dinner?” Harry asked, surprised.
“He took me to a pub,” she deadpanned. “And not a nice clean pub either. I swear, the place was covered in a nice thick layer of grease.”
“So you didn’t have dinner,” he stated, to which Savannah shook her head. “Alright,” he nodded, turning the blinker on to turn into McDonald’s. He put the car into park and jumped out with Savannah following close behind him. “Ladies first,” Harry bowed mockingly, holding the door open for her.
“You know, I was told that when guys say that, it’s only an excuse to check out the girl’s bum,” she threw over her shoulder.
“Huh. I’ve never thought of it like that,” Harry admitted, eyes subconsciously slipping down to look at Sav’s bum.
“Oi, eyes up here!” she clicked her fingers in front of his face.
“It was instinct!” he defended himself, even as his cheeks pinked up a little.
“I’m going to let that slide because you’re about to buy me a large McChicken meal and a ten pack of nuggets with sweet and sour sauce,” she said cheerily, pausing to shove Harry towards the counter.
“I don’t remember agreeing to any of this,” Harry pointed out, even as he reached into the back pocket of his jeans to pull out his wallet. “Hi,” he said with a charming smile, turning to face the tired worker behind the counter. “Can I get one large Big Mac meal and one large McChicken meal with two ten pack chicken nuggets?”
“Don’t forget the sweet and sour sauce,” Savannah reminded him.
“Right, sweet and sour sauce with the nuggets please,” he added.
“What’ll you have for the drinks?” the guy asked, totalling up their order.
“Coke?” Harry turned to Savannah, who nodded her confirmation, before pulling her phone out as Harry paid.
She shot a quick text - Ignore the voicemail I left you, I’ve got a ride - to Alexa, before turning to look back at Harry who was already watching her with amusement.
“You know,” he said, walking over towards where she had been waiting for their food with his hand in his pockets. “I never actually thought you’d take me up on the offer to give you a ride,” he said casually, shrugging his shoulders as he stared at her.
Savannah couldn’t help the slight attraction she felt towards him when he was looking at her the way he was now - with his big green eyes and unfairly pink lips, lifting up into a smile just wide enough that the beginnings of his dimples were visible.
"Honestly, neither did I," she shrugged, trying to lose the tingling feeling that was settling in her stomach. "But hey, desperate times call for desperate measures," she joked, staring pointedly at him. "At least I'm getting a free meal out of it."
"Date was that bad, huh?" Harry laughed, taking Savannah's insult in his stride.
"Nah," Sav waved him off. "It actually wasn't too bad. I mean, the pub could have been nicer and he could have picked me up instead of making me catch the bus," she glowered momentarily thinking about the sleazy guy she'd ended up sitting beside. "But he was a nice enough bloke - in the beginning anyway. He started making some pretty suggestive comments a little while into the date and that put me off. Plus, I'm not really looking to get into anything right now," she shrugged.
"Ah, Louis mentioned something about a recent ex," Harry nodded, just as their orders were called. He grabbed the first tray, handing it to Savannah before grabbing the second for himself and following her towards one of the empty booths.
"Yeah, he was kind of an ass," she said, settling into the booth across from him.
"I've had my fair share of ass-y ex's," Harry agreed, prying open his Big Mac. "And not the good type of ass-yness," he joked, the corner of his eyes crinkling as he smiled over at her. "Had my share of terrible pub dates also," he added. "Some were admittedly my fault, though," he confessed.
"We've all had terrible dates," Sav agreed, taking a bite of her burger. She had to restrain herself from moaning at the taste - she hadn't had a McChicken in far too long. "I wonder who's had the worst date in the world," she pondered after swallowing her mouthful.
“I’m not sure I want to know,” Harry said, dipping one of his nuggets into the tub of sauce before taking a bite. Savannah watched him do so before glancing down at her own food, thinking maybe she’d been a little too ambitious in her order - there was no way she could finish all of it. “Especially if they’re anything as bad as some of the dates I’ve had,” he shuddered.
“You do realise you now have to give me details, right?” Sav asked, waving a chip in the air before plopping it in her mouth.
“Give and take, Simba,” Harry smirked when she frowned at the nickname. “You have to offer me something if you want something in return.”
“I can’t believe you’re still calling me that,” Savannah sighed, shaking her head.
“Sooo,” Harry leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table between them. “What’s one of the worst dates you’ve ever been on?” he questioned.
Savannah thought for a moment, staring intently at Harry, trying to decipher whether he had any ulterior motives or not. “Alright,” she said eventually, deciding it wouldn’t be too embarrassing. “Don’t laugh, yeah?” she warned.
Harry raised a brow. “Isn’t that the whole idea of sharing embarrassing stories?”
“Fine, then no repeating any of these to anyone, got it?”
“My lips are sealed,” Harry agreed eagerly, before munching on some of his chips.
Savannah thought for a moment. “Ok, so when I was about fourteen,” she began, already shaking her head at the memory. “I went out with a guy who was fifteen at the time - I think. And for our first date he took me to McDonald’s,” she paused, shooting Harry an amused smile, which he reciprocated. “Which you know, isn’t too bad. Because food is food, right? But as it turns out, he’d brought both his parents along without telling me," here Harry let out a slight cough that Savannah couldn't quite interpret. "Which itself was a major red light, but I went with it...until he bought me a Happy Meal."
Harry choked on the sip of drink he'd just taken, coughing slightly as he let out a loud laugh. "You're joking," he said, amusement sparkling brightly in his jade coloured eyes.
Savannah grimaced, shaking her head. "I wish I was," she sighed.
"So what'd you do?"
"I called my parents and one of them came to pick me up. And get this, they knew his parents were coming along which was why they'd let me go on the date in the first place!" Harry laughed, although Savannah noticed it was a little strained. “It’s alright,” she said. “You can laugh. It was a long time ago.”
“It’s not that,” Harry shook his head. “It’s just,” he hesitated. “The whole parent thing…”
“Oh god, Harry,” Sav groaned. “Please don’t tell me you were that guy.”
Harry nodded, making Savannah bite the inner side of her lower lip to keep from laughing at him.
“In my defense, though,” Harry said loudly. “I was only fourteen and it was just my mum, who sat at a different table.”
“You didn’t take her to McDonald’s and buy her a Happy Meal did you?” Sav joked, making Harry scoff.
“Please, I had some class. I also bought her chicken nuggets,” he joked. Savannah rolled her eyes, even as a small smile graced her lips.
“Your turn,” she urged, leaning forward to mimic Harry’s stance. “What’s the worst date you’ve ever been on?”
Harry ran a hand through his hair, thinking. “Uh, ok, this one particular date,” he began, pursing his lips as he thought back on the evening. A shudder ran through him and Savannah could already tell the story was going to be good. “I was twenty at the time and she was twenty-two so she was a couple of years older than me,” he explained. “And she was well fit but she was also proper mental.”
“She can’t have been that bad,” Savannah said skeptically.
“No, Sav, honest, she was proper mental.”
“Why’d you ask her out then?” she furrowed her brows, wondering why men were so baffling.
“Well I didn’t know she was mental,” Harry defended. “She seemed normal enough, and like I said she was fit.”
“So what happened?” Sav interrupted again.
“The night started off normal enough,” he leaned back into his seat, a pained expression on his face. “Until after her a couple of drinks she started to speak baby talk to me?” Harry posed it as more of a question than a statement, as if he still wasn’t sure himself what exactly had happened.
“Tell me you’re taking the piss,” Savannah clapped a hand over her mouth, as her shock turned into uncontrollable giggles.
“I wish I was,” Harry sighed, face twisted into a frown. “She even offered to cut up my food at one point,” his frown deepened as Savannah continued to laugh at his expense. “It was horrible.”
“I don’t doubt it,” she laughed. “What did you do?”
“As fit as she was,” Harry shook his head, “there was no chance I was sticking around for the end of that date. I snuck out the back,” he smirked. “I scored a date with a waitress as I did so - which was a disaster all on its own,” he mused, a slight smile on his face as he reminisced.
“Ok, ok, I have one,” Savannah said after a moment, the stories now coming freely as she and Harry sat munching on fast food. "I went out with a guy and this time we made it to the end of the night. The date itself wasn't terrible - at this point I'd been on way worse, but I wasn't looking to go on a second one with him anyway. So when he dropped me off at my place, I kind of brushed him off and said no thanks when he asked if we can do it again."
"Oh god," Harry groaned, covering his face with one hand, while the other picked up another nugget. "What happened?" he asked throwing it in his mouth.
"He sat in his car outside my home for two days 'in case I changed my mind'," she mimicked the sign for quotation marks with her fingers.
"Did you call the cops?" Harry asked, brow furrowed.
"Nah, he left after I got one of my mates to pretend to be my boyfriend. Although I did get a few creepy texts and phone calls from him at some point," she mused. "But they stopped just as quick as they started, you don't have to stress," she explained quickly, noting the worry on Harry's face. “It’s your turn again,” she said, brushing the topic aside and looking up at him.  At some point during their conversation, she'd pushed her own tub of chicken nuggets over to him, which Harry was yet to notice.
“It is my turn, innit?” he mused, amusement and warmth floating around in his gaze.
And as Harry started another story about a horrible date gone wrong, where he’d taken a girl to an amusement part and she’d thrown up all over him and everyone around them on a rollercoaster - he admitted to now having a perpetual fear of them - Savannah found she was quite enjoying herself.
The night itself had started off poorly, but after having spent the past hour or so with Harry munching on fast food and sharing bad dates, she found herself relaxed and not wanting for it to be over. But like almost every other good thing in Sav’s life, it had to come to an end. In this case it was because of an ironic twist of fate where the date she’d just abandoned pushed his way through the doors, his eyes connecting with Sav’s.
She let out a loud groan, instantly attracting Harry’s attention. “Alright?” he asked, his gaze following hers and settling on the guy. His brow furrowed as he began to make his way over towards them. “You know him?” Harry asked quietly.
Savannah met Harry’s eyes, an apology swimming in them before she answered. “Yeah, he’s the reason why we’re here,” she clasped her hands together. “Oh god,” she groaned again.
“Hey,” the guy greeted them with a sneer. “You went to use the bathroom and never came back,” he said to Savannah idiotically.
“I told the waitress to tell you I left,” she replied cooly, briefly looking up at the guy before turning back away in dismissal.
“Yeah,” he bent forward, placing his palms flat on the table as he leaned towards Sav. “That wasn’t very nice of you. I thought we was having a great time.”
“Not me,” Savannah scoffed trying not to flinch at his phrasing. “That wasn’t a good date.”
“Well maybe we can try again?” the guy asked, not letting up.
“Mate,” Harry interrupted, having already tired of the guy’s presence. “Bugger off, would you? She doesn’t want to go on another flipping date with you.”
“And who are you?” the guy trained his beady eyes on Harry, looking him over once before scoffing.
“I’m her friend,” Harry replied easily, shooting Sav a goofy smile. “Wanna get out of here?” he asked her, throwing the last of the nuggets in his mouth before standing up.
“Definitely,” Savannah nodded. “I’m knackered.”
Harry pushed out of the booth first, making sure to stand between Savannah and her disaster of a date as she followed. From what he’d heard tonight, she seemed to have a knack for drawing out the seedy guys, and he couldn’t in good conscience let anything happen to her while he was around.
They got to his car unscathed, and the moment they were inside, they shared a look before bursting into laughter.
“That was interesting,” Harry commented, reversing the car. His hand was resting on Sav’s headrest as he tried to safely navigate his way towards the exit.
“Interesting is definitely one way to put it,” she shook her head. “I can’t believe fate hates me so much. That was bloody awkward as all hell.”
Harry chuckled softly. “Has he cracked the top ten worst dates now?” he asked teasingly.
“No, but he’s definitely closer,” she shot back. “Mind if I turn the radio on?”
Harry waved his hand forward, “go ahead.”
Savannah played around with the stations for a while before settling on a song.
“Really?” Harry glanced at her from the corner of his eye, his brow raised and smile just peeking through.
“What? It’s a good song!” she defended herself.
It was silent for a while, allowing the music to comfortably fill the small space between them - until the chorus hit.
Savannah hadn’t been expecting it, which is probably why she jumped and let out a slight squeak as Harry began to sing along with Nick Jonas.
“I turn my chin, music up, and I’m puffing my chest. I’m getting red in the face, you can call me obsessed.”
“Christ, Harry,” she held a hand up to her heart. “A little warning next time maybe?”  she growled as he outright laughed at her.
“You squeaked!” he said between chuckles.
“You surprised me,” Savannah glowered at him. “And your voice sucks, just saying.”
“No, it doesn’t,” Harry said confidently. The worst part was that it actually didn’t.
“I hate you,” she poked her tongue out at him to show she was joking, which only made him laugh louder.
“Sing with me,” he said once he’d calmed down enough.
“I’m alright, thanks,” she grimaced at the idea of singing. The last time she’d gone to a karaoke night had been a disaster.
“Suit yourself,” Harry shrugged, not pushing her. He continued to hum along to some of the songs that were played for the rest of the way to Sav’s flat, occasionally belting out a few notes in an attempt to surprise her again - she was grateful to say it didn’t work.
As he pulled the car onto Sav’s street, he began to slow down before pulling into a space right outside her building. He stalled the car, turning to smile over at her.
“I’m glad you called,” he said conversationally. “I was stuck doing a boring paper at home.”
Savannah frowned. “Was it important?” she asked, feeling bad about dragging him out in the middle of the night when he could have been studying.
“Nah,” he brushed away her concern. “Don’t even have to start it for another couple of days. I was just bored out of my mind. If it had been important I wouldn’t have come.”
“That’s comforting to know,” Savannah said sarcastically.
“You know I’m only teasing, Simba.”
“You’ve gotta stop calling me that,” she glowered.
“Why? It’s cute,” he shrugged like it was nothing. “It suits you. Anyway,” he said quickly changing the subject. “The lads and I are going to this Monte Carlo night happening soon. It’s sort of an event King’s students have set up and Louis wants to crash it. I was wondering if you wanted to come? Lex is invited as well of course, and Louis’ told me he’s already invited Reyna.”
“Sure,” Savannah shrugged, letting the name drop for now. “Gives me an excuse to dress up again.”
Harry bit back a smile. “I think there’s also going to be an open bar,” he added, watching with amusement as Sav’s eye lit up.
“Then I’m definitely coming,” she nodded decidedly, stepping out of the warmth of Harry’s car.
“Of course you are,” he rolled his eyes in amusement. “I’ll text you the details!” he called, waiting until she was inside before driving back home.

OP from FB
So apart from watching youtube videos and sharing some reshared content on facebook, I haven't actually been socially active lately.
My messenger is blowing up and I haven't responded to a lot of messages. So, it's not that I'm not replying to you. I'm not replying to EVERYONE. Apart from asking some recommendations and replying to some pages who I need to get in touch with since I have a transaction with them. Other than that, anything else that's personal has just been lying around in my inbox.
Anyway, I've been pretty much out for the count, especially after what happened last time. I'm still pretty bummed out by it so I'm trying my best not to pass on my shit to anybody else. This is definitely going to be a looong ass extensive posts. Coz' here' what I thought, instead of making multiple posts about my shit, I'll just sum it up into one big pile of shit, right?!
First off, if you're selling something, right. Like, you're not a store, but a person just trying to make a living, selling your services, be sure to know how to treat people right. I was speaking with someone about getting some shit done and since I'm not familiar with the process, I had to ask, right? This mofo started laughing and proceed to tell me that I... "should come back and talk to him when I know what I was talking about." In this particular case, pricing. Holy shit the nerve of this dude. Okay, so I lost some money recently, that ain't no secret. But the audacity of this person, telling me, as if I ain't got nothing to pay for the shit I'm asking. You sir just lost 1 good possible customer. You seem to be doing well on your own anyway, but FUCK YOU anyway for looking down on me. I'm not a rich guy, but I know how to work around my finances and I CAN BUY SHIT THAT COSTS WAY MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK, FUCKER! So yeah, I'll gladly tell more about this via PM if you're interested to know what this is so you too can avoid the person. The lesson here is, don't talk shit to potential customers. Whether you know or just think that they could probably afford shit or not, never straight up laugh at your customer. NEVER!
Alright, so that's enough screen time for that fucker. Next, sooooo.... I forgot what's supposed to be next. I think I was gonna write something about what happened. Oh, right. So, I recently lost my entire paycheck due to some issues around the house, right. This one's a bit too personal and even on private messages, I won't go into details about it. But, here's the thing that's annoying. You know how you prepare for your shit, and even though you're not good at planning. You desperately try to plan things out, just to make sure that you won't astronomically fuck things over by yourself, since you know how much you can get screwed over by your own. Right?! Well, la-dee-daah, look who screwed me over. Someone who didn't prepare for their own shit and now, for some reason, I had to deal with it. What did it cost me? 2 months worth of planning go poof, and 1 month of unpaid debt (cash loan). So, I'm still figuring out how to get back from that. I seem to have enough time until when my next paycheck comes, I haven't planned it yet though. Who knows what the fuck might screw me over by that time. I'll just have to sit it out and improvise.
Partially ditched my (closest) friends again, over a video game dispute. I mean, shiiiiiit I loooove me my video games. I can even say to some extent, it's all I have, next to them. And they just keep pissing me off for some stupid reasons. Like, yeah it was pretty dumb to be mad about it, but in my point of view, I was pretty certain they were aware. Like they were aware of how I am with games and probably not with any other games, but this game in particular. I'm not gonna state what game it is just for... whatever. I just don't understand... Okay so here's the thing, whenever I go dark, they eventually come to a point and ask "what's going on? Tell us what's wrong." So after you tell them what's wrong, you get that security that, these set of people are aware, they know how they should deal with your BS. Right?! Then here comes me throwing shade, and they just give up instantly. Like, I don't understand the point of me explaining to them what's wrong with me if they immediately, instantaneously give up, right?1 Like what's the point of telling a story, if after saying the lesson the reader just goes "let's do it again." I hate to say it but, while it is true that most of the time that we have "the talk" is between alcohol, but I gotta admit... it's sad when they just seem to pretend to listen. It's stupid how it started from video game dispute to not listening, right? Like I'm some kind of moody s/o or something. But that's how I feel, I mean, that's the best that I could explain how it feels. So, Idk, I'm not exactly writing this other than for my own pleasure so, eh... Not my problem if you can't translate.
Also, I've been unfollowing news outlets and skipping anything I scroll past that's political or covid related. I've actually been doing it ever since like April, but this time I'm almost hard committing to not getting involved. I mean, sometimes I get into flame wars in the comment section just for the heck of it. But I try to go into flame wars that I know I'm certain to win haha. Like, fr tho. I don't wanna get burned too much. But then again, I still also do my best to stay away from anything related at all.
As I'm writing this I actually paused a game I recently received as a gift. NieR:Automata™. I've been wanting to play this for a while now, especially when I found out that this is basically a bigger story-centered version of Stanley Parable did. I was like "oh shit, I gotta play this game." I'm not sure if I have been spoiled already when I saw reviews before, but hopefully, my description of the game here, doesn't ruin it for those who haven't played it yet too. Also, you have some dedication reading this post if you've made it this far. If you did, do send game recommendations. I like the ones that have an absurd number of multiple endings. I blame Stanley Parable for this, but I just really fancy the idea. Or at least a confusing one, like Control. I haven't played it yet but it's been out for a while. I know I wanted to play it since it was teased, but I never got the chance to grab the game yet, when it recently dropped in Steam. I was indeed spoiled about something about the ending, so, probably after NieR, my lists are as follows. (I'm not gonna make a bulleted list coz it'll be easily seen when anyone clicked "see more" and people be like "meh, just a bunch of lame gaming posts") So my lists is, for big title, I'm waiting for WD: Legion and CyberPunk 2077. Then comes Detroit become human, Control, Beyond: Two Souls. I have a bunch in mind that I wanna play but these are my focus for now. That's after I finished NieR.
Well, you've made it. You somehow read through this entire thing. I gotta say, I  actually had a lot of negative shit to posts. But I think my YouTube-ing, actually helped. I have been watching Smosh Pit. Holy guacamole Smosh is hella different than when I was first watching it back in 2010-2012. Anthony has long since left, and Ian has just been awkward to watch, sometimes. He looks like "when the boss tries to look quirky like the employees" whenever he's in a video, lol. But him and Anthony did establish the whole thing up, he probably got stuck to it after Anthony left. Since, you can't really just leave your legacy to a bunch of other people, right? Anyway, idk why I'm talking about that so.... You know the unfortunate thing is, after all this, nobody still really cares. Doesn't matter how much effort I put into socializing with people. After everything that I've gone through, once it's all said and done. At the end of the day, all I really have is myself. I think I've come to a point now that I've been doing self-love too much, that I've taken myself for granted. So, I'm just like "whatever" now. Nothing matters, we're all shitty people, we're all just a bunch of gas moving around, we're all gonna die, nobody's gonna know us as soon as 5 years after we died.
This is probably the only time I'm gonna say this on facebook or any of my other socials as I'm gonna try to hide it. I'm gonna do my own vlogging again. BUUUT it's not gonna be on anything that can be monetized. It's gonna be just my personal vlogs. I'll have it in my tumblr, what's my tumblr, that's for you to figure out. I've missed vlogging, and not the modern fancy ass vlogging that you see in YouTube. The vlogging I grew up with is literally just a video-blog/vlog, like a diary. So you take a video and you keep it somewhere. I didn't wanna upload it actually, I was gonna have it as a keepsake. But just for the heck of it, I'll put it in the internet so it's there forever. Unless tumblr gets taken down or do a friendster/myspace. So, yeah, I haven't posted anything yet, nor had taken a video. But as soon as I started rolling, I'll post it there and it'll just be a memory of me.
So yeah guys. Idk why you're reading this but thanks for your time anyway. Ya'll have a good one. I still don't feel like socializing but for my sanity's sake, I'll try to get back into responding into your messages. It's probably good for me too (I think). Byyeeeeeeeeeee~
