Had a nice lovely lie in this morning until around eleven o'clock which normally I would feel angry at the thought of wasting a large section of the day but the last week was so ball-breaking and made me so inert by the end of it that I was just happy that I got an extra four hours of unconsciousness because you can't work when you're unconscious although I'm sure there are certain members of the Tory party who would disagree with that. I now only have four more shifts to get through before ten glorious days in Greece and thankfully the forecast is that all ten days will be sunny as fuck unlike the last family holiday in Bulgaria where it pissed down for half the trip. Bulgaria? More like Bull-Shit-Garia! It was sunny enough this morning that I decided to go for a run and at one point during the run I was listening to a rap song called Entering The Silence by a group called L'Orange and during the song a fairly large bug flew into me and hit me in the ear. Now the thing about my headphones is that they are touch sensitive so if you touch the left one it turns the volume down and turns it up if you touch the right one it goes up and I shit you not this bug collided with the left one so hard that the volume actually went down. I like the idea that this bug was a fan of more traditional music rather than this new fangled rap shit this was its way of telling me "TURN THAT BOLLOCKS DOWN!". Well what does this shit eating cunt know about good music? All he listens too is Jake Bugg hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe. I really must try to avoid putting absolute zingers like that in every single entry because people might think that this is exclusively a comedy blog when in fact most editions focus on Indo-European philology and how we can apply the teaching of the stoic philosophers to modern alaysis of belief and meaning. Speaking of all that clever shit I tuned into tonight's Hollyoaks and I have to say I didn't think much of Donny and Dave when they first joined but the recent revelations that they are both secretly badasses has reminded me to never judge a book by its cover. A few days ago I tweeted that I thought they were going to drag out the discovery of Norma's body for days and passersby would start complaining about the funky smell from Norma's flat and we'd get a shot of hundreds of flies congregating on the inside of Norma's window. Wouldn't you know it they only went and did EXACTLY that in tonight's episode. In fact one of the flies appeared to have a slight bump on it's head so I suspect it might be the one that slammed into my ear during my run. I should really be on the payroll for this show. How many of my stupid tweets are they going to turn into scenes? Maybe I should write a tweet where I get to bang Dilly and see if that comes to fruition.
