it’s so funny bc nowadays i’m doing the Adult Thing and am very late to learning to drive and i think a lot of the anxieties i had about it truly did stem from every fucked up car i experienced growing up bc we would just end up with whatever the hell. my mom used to drive a car that she could not ever stop and let idle for even a second bc the entire thing would just die. my dad one time had a car from some place he was working at and the front tire just caught fire inexplicably at one point. looney tunes shit

#venus ambassador give us a post #i get behind the wheel and i go Oh this is so normal. actually.#like LMAO #also ftr we got stranded in that U Can't Stop This Car car so many fucking times. many a childhood memory of being stranded some place #bc the car died bc u were forced to come to a full stop at a red light that went just a lil too long #instead of slowing to an almost stop way before it and just slowly cruising up to it hoping it'd change #not the same car but the wipers on another one died in the middle of the worst god damn rainstorm i ever seen in my life #while we were also going over a bridge -_- could not see anything out the windshield #my mom intends to give me a car she got from someone when i get my license and it had an issue for a while #where apparently my siblings got a cd stuck in the player and it just drained the battery whenever the car was on #fix was going somewhere to have the cd removed. don't know what that means for that cd player going forward for me
