chat not to be horribly acespec on main but ive been straight up giddy lately over not even a crush in itself, but the heightened potential to develop one possibly given time
#for context i have maybe like. four friends that i really interact with on the regular.#all of whom i have very established platonic or even familial feelings towards#so. being demi. this obviously means that i have absolutely zero romantic (or other) attraction potential in my current social life#however#very much out of nowhere#someone i was friends with in elementary and middle school#i shit you not we were best friends in KINDERGARTEN! and were sort of buddies sort of academic rivals throughout#our middle school careers#has recently contacted me and has been actively reaching out and making conversation with me#so ive been so deeply excited bc like. hee hee new person in my social circle i have a shot at developing feelings for#very exciting for me (been absolutely craving the sparks of joy and various feelings of having a crush lately)#just me rambling again#finally remembered to post this bc we're just chatting abt our cats rn#and im all heehee hoohoo#but idek if i have a crush yet or if im just excited to have a new person to socialize with y'know#ah well. im sure I'll update if anything in particular changes
