Despite all the pain and despair I have planned and written for the LB6 portion of the AU, the scene where Percival is *baffled* after some random guy in the resistance tried to flirt with River and going 'it's possible for a man to feel that way about another man...?' in such an painful Innocent Ignorance™️ and milquetoast way that right before River is about to snap at Percy for being weird about it, it hits him like 'wait shit you actually have never seen or heard about this because we're in Fairy England Hell'.

AND IT TAKES EVEN LONGER TO CLICK FOR RIVER THAT PERCY IS TALKING ABOUT HOW HE FEELS ABOUT RIVER.

So besides the reason WHY I'm making the Perciver 'Faerie King x Knight' AU (which has to do with my alt twt), I'm excited about the designs for the boys themselves.

The idea of the AU is that this is completely removed from Fateverse and is an inconsequential fantasy setting--

Young knight Percival is searching for his missing comrade when he accidentally stumbles into the unseen domain of the Ifrit. There he is welcomed and befriended by their King-- Aim.

(Though the true fae tongue of Aim's name is incomprehensible to Percival, so he allows Percival to call him 'River' instead.)

I'm supposed to be giving myself a break and only drawing the *coughcough* voted scenes for them, but I am half-compelled to actually write a ficlet for them.

...And yes, I kept Faerie King Aimver a cat because I will never let it go.

So I've decided that even though I'm stoked about Ordeal Call, I'm making LB7 the last part of my AU.

...Well... the last last part will be 'False Orrery', which is *stares at 200,000 words and counting*.... yeah.

Again, even though I'm looking forward to Ordeal Call, I'm not gonna drag my AU out that far. I absolutely am putting Bhima in LB4 now, though.

This is once again me being a crackhead, but I love keeping the ‘Solomon Had No Rizz Nor Game’ train going by having it be that 99% of his wives and concubines were actually gunning for Aim and had to go through Solomon first.

They gotta traverse this socially awkward wooden plank of a king before they can get their hands on the absolutely hunky and sexy 6 foot cat-man-demon charmster behind him.

Bonus points if at points Solomon got TOTALLY not-jealous because ‘hey that’s MY vizier husband you’re all over—!’

Random Fact:

Before Chaldea he wasn’t at all interested in furthering his magecraft or reaching the Root; his biggest aspiration in life was to fall in love with someone nice and become a homebody husband!

He also planned to inherit his dad’s apothecary, so whoever he ends up with will also have to be prepared to be down for that.
