Professional athletes love the sport they play day in and day out. Their mentality and spirit must constantly remain positive and at the highest levels. With a strong and positive mentality, it becomes a lot easier to train and maintain their physicality so as to do their jobs well. With that being said, athletes will face moments of hardship in their chosen careers. Minor or serious injuries are always a possibility, with many seasoned athletes having to face long-term rehabilitation when they are crippled due to accidents. Being brave with high resilience for minor pain and injury can always help these heroes overcome their challenges. It will allow them to fight on and never give up their quest for honours. In today’s clip, two professional soccer players show their bravery when faced with minor injuries! These athletes are a symbol of resilience and positive attitude. They are the unsung heroes who never give up. They are the shining light when compared to a Swedish defender who simply can’t bear any pain after a foot injury. She has no choice but to take off her boot and sock for treatment barefooted!

As the saying goes, you have no fear when you are young. This is so true for youth soccer players who love the sport especially when representing their countries. As more young players get the chance to show their skills representing their countries, they also get a real taste of what’s it like to be injured. For some new players, getting more serious foot injuries can be more of a culture shock. What’s more, they are under the care of the physio and medical teams who ensure they get first hand treatment on the field. Certain treatments require the boot and sock to be removed immediately, which can mean some kind of embarrassment for young players. But more college players are becoming tougher as they gain more experience. They display the kind of maturity and bravery when usually seen by pros, even when facing painful injuries. Today’s video takes a look at some outstanding youth players who show their bravery and resilience when being injured representing their countries.

While football is always nice to watch, it is less so being a professional soccer player. As the game is played mostly in high temperatures, players always face the challenge of running in full foot gear under sweltering heat. It is common to see players nice and fresh at the start of the match, but these same players look jaded after over 90 minutes running in tightly-laced up boots and socks. Though modern soccer jerseys are made of scientifically cool material, but football socks remain thick and long. To protect the feet, it is not uncommon to see players wearing double layers of socks as cushion to the feet underneath soccer boots. Imagine wearing these long socks on top of another pair of thick athletic socks, together with shin pads in very humid temperatures. It is torture not being able to do so, but pretty players rarely do it in front of their fans! However, when there is a foot injury, even pretty players can’t resist taking off their boots immediately for some relief. Like the pretty captain of Mexican club San Luis!

Everyone knows that volleyball is very hard on the legs and feet. Constant and persistent jumping and stretching is all part of the game. It is one sport where leg exercises are extremely important to keep the muscles and joints flowing freely. This is why volleyball players usually remain on court to complete some stretching exercises before leaving. Although there are no national boundaries for stretching, there are some notable differences when it comes to the way it is done. Most European girls typically stretch with just their sneaker laces and knee guards loosened or removed, but most do not remove their socks as it may be considered unmannerly. Safe to say, regardless of culture, even the pretty ones must be yearning to completely remove their footwear right after a tough game. In today’s video, popular Japanese volleyball star Ranna Shiraiwa is all done with her sneakers as she stretches happily in front of her fans.
