NEW ALIEN LETS GOOO. This time these are fellas living within the iron clouds of a gas giant.

They're quite large, think building sized, and spend most of their time floating through the cloud layers feasting upon the microscopic critters in the air around them. They catch their food in the fronds of their feeding arms before passing them through their looong mouth. I don't know if this is plausible but I think I'm going to cut their planet into two main sections, a super heated sky of gaseous metals and then a small compact core. Wanted them to be in a position to breathe iron instead of oxygen, if they came into contact with our atmosphere they would rust from the inside out. But on their planet they are happily bobbing around in the sky as if weightless. It just works.

These fellas are gunna be in the same universe as my pentapods, I think the theme is going to be 'planet bound societies interacting via space junk left over from another fallen civilization'. So whereas pentapods are planetlocked because of having no access to actual ground materials, these fellas are more so bound by the extremes of their habitat.

More yapping on Trey + explainations for certain terms down below the cut.

Tall: Man is >180 cm. For future reference:

165cm< : Small

165cm< <175cm: Med

>175 : Tall

Tall fellas on average have more HP and hit resistance, in exchange for a bigger hitbox and slower mobility (The inverse is true for small guys, and average guys are..average.)

RNG: Range, how far do their attacks/hitboxes reach.

DFS: Defense, how well can they resist interruptive attacks and tank hits.

Grappler: The grappler is a common FG archetype whose main mode of combat is close combat with a need to stick to the oppenent to wrestle their oppenent. Often, but not always, they are on the bulkier size and lacking in speed in comparison to other characters.

Also adding the Flora, Fire, Water and Neutral typing. Works just like in regular TWST. Just to give it more of Twst feel, and so hypothetical players can blame that system instead of their subpar gameplay LMAO

Trey's playstyle + Gameplan TSDU:

If it just doesn't connect, big whoop- but he pull it back and try again. But if the enemy parries it- that's an L + ratio, then Trey is trapped trapped by Guilt for a bit, and the oppenent has an opportunity to punish that whiff.

Trey can do big boy damage, but only when he has mfers by the throat. But his heavy. metal. fists. And. hulking. metal. chains. are too heavy to just yoink goobers like Ace flying across the screen, so he has to use his oversized handcuffs (I named it guilt, hehe.) to nab them. When Guilt trips enemies, Trey can finally yank them to give them a good smackeroo, and then yeet them out to the side once he's done to rinse and repeat. Assuming it connects.

Playing as Trey is probably the best against midrangers, when they aren't too likely to catch those cuffs and get pulled into his ideal zone. On the other hand though, zoners- projectile zoners- that can just play keep away and say consistently no U to Trey's techniques- will have him burning his casseroles, so to speak.

You Got Games On Your Phone?| Gen Narumi

Gen Narumi was a respected man. He was known to strike fear into the enemy's cores and ignite a flame of determination in those who followed him. People looked up to the man, for his skills on the battlefield and his serious demeanor, but it was also no secret that he was quite easy to irritate. And nobody did that better than Vice Captain Hoshina.

But today the bowl cutted fella was nowhere to be seen. He was on a mission and that meant for Narumi that he could enjoy a day of peace and quiet.

It was around lunchtime when he hid away in one of the training rooms to pursue one of his current, most enjoyable obsessions– CookieRun: Kingdom.

The man stumbled across this game by accident but immediately found himself hooked by the gameplay and storyline. He has been playing it ever since, demolishing the cake monsters and building his kingdom into an utopia.

Narumi's eyes sat focused on the screen, while his fingers did all the magic. Jumping, sliding, fighting the monsters– you name it. Narumi played through the levels with ease and enjoyed every second of it. The little cookie on the screen collected the letters and dodged the enemy at his command, he was completely in control of the situation.

A chuckle left his lips after completing the final round, a rush of accomplishment tugging on his skin.

“YOU DID IT?!” The sudden cry of an unknown voice pulled the man out of the mist of concentration. Narumi was completely caught off guard by the stranger gripping onto his shoulders, pushing him back and forth like a ragdoll.

“So that's how you do it, I get it now! I've been stuck on that level for agesss.” Narumi was unsure what to be more appalled by, the fact that he did not take notice of your presence until you revealed yourself or the casual tone you addressed him in.

Within seconds the man was up in the air, phone disappearing back in his pocket and a serious expression on his face.

“What the fuck?!” Was the first thing he yelled.

“Don't you know that it's rude to sneak up on others?? Who the fuck are you!”

Your face resembled a surprised emotion (he had no idea how you did that) but in an instant you found yourself smiling again.

“I walked by when I suddenly heard Vanilla Cookie's voice! To think that someone as respected and renowned as you sir would play such a game! That is so cool!”

Narumi found himself speechless. Your joy manifested itself in the form of sparks inside your eyes, blinding the adult. The Captain found it strange how someone like you who managed to conceal themselves like that was such an airhead–how old were you even??

The man tried his best to ignore your presence after that encounter, uninterested in such childish matters and idle chit chat but that was easier said than done.

You followed him around wherever you could, sticking to his body like a slug. When it was lunchtime you made sure to be right behind him in line and when he was practicing his combat skills you were right behind the man to copy his moves. Narumi thought that was doing quite well ignoring you but he found himself arguing back with you most of the time.

“You are so strong!!”

“Duh!”

“How does one become as skilled as you? In both Cookie Run Kingdom and the battlefield! I'm still stuck on that one level, ugh.”

“Shouldn't you be training with your group??

“Your room is kinda..dirty.”

“Get out of my room! How did you even get in here??”

The other cadets had no idea where this sudden admiration was coming from. All they saw was a little kid, running after an adult who had absolutely no interest in it. Like a little duckling following a cat who they believed was its mother– it was quite amusing to watch. And of course, Hoshina could not let this opportunity go by untouched. The man made a minimum of five jokes a day, driving Narumi's patience to its limits.

“No, because that level has got to be cursed! I don't know how you did it but my Prune Juice Cookie is not surviving those cake monsters–”

“Can you be quiet!? Goddammit! You have been nagging on my ear this entire week, just leave me the fuck alone!”

His words sliced through the air like a hot knife through butter. The aggression in his voice came for your throat, choking up the words inside your mouth. You fell completely silent, unable to utter another sentence.

For a moment, Narumi enjoyed the peace and quiet, the lack of constant pressure on his ear drums. But when he saw the expression on your face, his heart immediately dropped to the floor.

“I'm sorry for bothering you sir..” You mumbled, body retreating from his figure.

Narumi watched you distance yourself from him further and further, until you eventually turned on your heels and left.

“They will be back at it again tomorrow, I know it..” Narumi mumbled, but in a way that sounded like he was trying to convince himself.

Little did he know that you had taken his words by heart. The following day went by without you making an appearance and even the days after there was no sign of you. Narumi pretended to not care, pursuing his job as usual but after an entire week went by and still no kid talking his ears off, the Captain found himself feeling uneasy.

He scolded himself for being so harsh to you. The man has secretly been trying to ask around for you, mentioning a young cadet with great enthusiasm in a handful of conversations to see if anybody knew you, but his efforts were in vain.

The man was mindlessly walking around the base, thinking if he should just make a public announcement and have you summoned to his office, when all of a sudden a familiar sound rang through the hall. It was muffled and distant yet he was able to recognize that melody anywhere.

There, seated in one of the community rooms all by yourself, you sat. Your eyes were burned onto your phone, following the glowing images around the screen. Almost an hour had passed and you were still stuck on this one level, it truly frustrated you. But just when you were about to give up, you felt a lingering shadow hover above you.

Your phone was suddenly taken away from you and at first you thought that one of the higher ups had caught you and was now going to confiscate the device but when your eyes met with the ones of Narumi your smile reappeared.

“Are you still stuck on this level?” He asked in an almost mocking tone. Before you could answer him, Narumi sat down next to you, your phone tightly held in his hands.

“I see that you have Squid Ink Cookie, use them instead of Prune Juice. And don't forget to level up their toppings, that makes all the difference during combat.”

“Oh..okay. Thank you.” Slightly surprised by his nice demeanor you nodded your head, paying close attention to what the Caption had to say.

“And if you find the time, do the bounties to get some level up materials, a true game changer.”

“I will!!”

“Now give me your UID so I can send you a friend request, kid.”

Words alone were unable to explain the joy and excitement bubbling in your heart. You wasted no time and immediately followed his every advice while Narumi was getting his own phone ready. The two of you sat there for a long time, playing and discussing topics all around the game. And Narumi couldn't help himself but smile throughout the entire interaction.

“I'm sorry for what I said..” His apology came unexpectedly yet you wasted no time accepting it.

“You're all good!” You chuckled. “But if you really want to make me feel better help me with this one quest!”

“Bet!”

The story where everyone is doomed from the start. (Ft. FATEBREAKERS) Chara (they/it) - SOUL of Pain Plaster (he/they) - SOUL of Patience Omlet (she/they) - SOUL of Kindness Talon (he/him) - SOUL of Bravery Oxalis (they/them) - SOUL of Justice Sonata "Breve" Stardust (she/her)- SOUL of Integrity Litany (he/him)- SOUL of Perseverence Frisk (they/them) - SOUL of Pain Bear witness to my takes on the six fallen humans! I love these silly lil fellas. My main focuses have been envisioning "UNDERTALE: Open Wound", of which Plaster is the protagonist, and "UNDERTALE: Simmer Down", of which Omlet is the protagonist, but I've got ideas for everyone else too. Which I will detail down here lets gooo; Plaster is an anxious overthinker, thinking that they're always doomed. His patience manifests as analysing his enemy's patterns and behaviour, waiting for the right moment to strike... Either emotionally or physically. Omlet is a rude, abrasive person, who thinks the kindest, most selfless thing they can do to people is tell them exactly what she's feeling. Though she seems distant, she does have a warm and caring side- expressed through their cooking. Talon is a very plucky individual, whose bravery manifests as completely pushing down all fear and pretending that he's fine when he's really not fine. He projects outwardly a very cool, calm and collected persona, never breaking a sweat at anything. This trait of his just might be the death of him, as he moves on ahead with reckless abandon- never asking for help, when that just might've saved him. Oxalis seems unemotional at a distance, but they do have occasional moments of goofiness that break through the cold facade. They play as a cowboy embodying justice to cheer themselves up, but it's really only made them seem slightly scary from a distance. Sonata "Breve" Stardust doesn't take shit from anyone. She stays true to herself, no matter what- with her rough-and-tumble-yet-oddly-elegant style. Though perhaps being unaccepting to changing the path one is barreling down is as much of a strength as it is a weakness. Litany is a caring and nurturing person, playing out the fantasy of being a doctor with a clipboard. Always writing down notes on his "clipboard" (journal), clutching onto it for dear life. He only really wants to help others, and he keeps going to achieve this goal no matter what. MISC NOTES: Sonata's form of "game" would likely manifest as a rhythm game sort of thing, justifying it in-universe as this "bizzare trend going around the underground." Stay with the groove, or die! (metaphorically) It's been my headcanon for nearly two years now that the "Red SOUL trait" is PAIN. It is not all too logical. I am sticking by my guns.

NAME LOGIC: I was inspired by Clover from UNDERTALE: Yellow being named after the fact that once pacified, the gun fires clovers. So, I extended this philosophy to everyone else- while also seeking to capture that odd jank the names "Chara" and "Frisk" have.

Plaster is named that because the knives turn into bandaids, and plaster is an alternative term for a bandage, or something that patches up a wound. Omlet is named that because the fire turns into omelettes, and I decided to shorten it for some reason. I think it's charming like this, though. If anyone else mentions how they "aren't really omlettes", i will sob. Talon is named that because that's the most convoluted way I could reference the concept of hands. Which is what the bravery soul phase attacks with. Oxalis is named that because Oxalis Tetraphylla is the official name for a four leaf clover. Though she probably uses Alis as a nickname. Sonata "Breve" Stardust is named that bc the musical notes eventually heal you. a Sonata is a form of music, a Breve is a type of note, and she attacks with some stars. it's also sort of an Equestria Girls reference whoopsie. She's the only one with a lastname bc I feel like "Breve" captures the sort of janky charm I want, but Sonata is a name that I just found legitimately really pretty Litany is named that because that's the most convoluted way i could say "words", in reference to how the soul phase... attacks you with words. It means a funeral procession recited for the dead, but also something that's overly long and needs to be practiced several times- exactly like the cycle of the fallen humans. Or a long and lengthy ramble, like an indecipherable journal.

DESIGN NOTES: I really wanted each of the fallen humans to use their trademark items in an unusual fashion- or just generally "break the mold" a little, ie having Omlet be a rather rude seeming person, while most personify kindness to be a gentle little angel. So, I'll go into that just a smidgen more here. Instead of wearing the Faded Ribbon like an actual ribbon in his hair, Plaster wears it like a bowtie. Omlet wears the apron around her waist, since she's outgrown it but it still holds quite a lot of sentimental value. Most people just?? forget that the worn bandanna is supposed to go around your neck?? since it's got abs drawn on it, and it's like, the whole joke is that it's supposed to look like you have abs- It's a hat. Sonata was such a fun design to make for me. Everyone always chooses to make Integrity a dainty little ballerina girl, so I chose to give Breve a whole-ass varsity jacket. She looks like she'd beat you up and I love it. My logic for Litany's design was entirely "okay... who wears glasses... and takes notes- DOCTOR". So that's what I did. Chara and Frisk were difficult for me to redesign. My friend Cacote suggested Chara be wearing an oversized sweater alongside messy hair, which I quite like. Plus, their hairstyle is a partial reference to Chara from Fanontale, which is always cool. They look adorable. My friend Cacote suggested Frisk be wearing some bizzare fashion, somewhat akin to futuristic clothing. This manifested as me... giving them a weird suit/trenchcoat combo. And a sticky bandage on their nose. They look kind of like a huge asshole, and I love it.

the mod didn't work for all of chapter 3 tho? but then boom chapter 4 and it worked again so that's fine. i also can't get long sleeve leon to work but im pretty sure its something on my side, re5 literally had an application error when i first tried to boot it originally (before the mods) and then i looked it up and apparently its a widespread problem so... let's blame capcom :)

Letting her join them, though, was definitely not something Sadia had decided. And she took every opportunity she had to remind Cristal.

And she didn't even believe in God.

But it was fine. Cristal wouldn't give up. She believed the Étoiles Noires could accomplish a lot and she loved Johnny, even if he was sometimes about as sharp as a circle. There was actually something she found endearing about this, for some reason.

OHHH YEAHHH BABY WE GOT TO THE 10TH BOOK

ive been waiting for this one,,, i know its a fan favorite but also is a lot different than the others

so first of all no dog man origin story at the beginning, no harold and george, which like i miss it but also to be fair it makes sense because the story keeps getting more serious and i'm thinking dav pilkey wants it to be more of a stand alone series... maybe, idk...

another critique i've heard is that dog man is no longer the protagonist, which i agree with, petey and his family feel more like the protagonist. i wouldn't mind this if there were less characters, but there so many that it's hard to focus on Dog Man at all. he needs more character development, he feels more like comedic relief than anything.

some development on living with disability, Dog Man's baggage with his previous owner and the frankenstein theming would be great to develop. also just, personality development in general i guess

there are a few characters i'd cut for sure, mainly Molly and Zuzu... and stuff idk

that's just my current take of the development of the series <3 i have really enjoyed it so far personally

anyways starting NOW

immediately, something feels different about this book,,, but in a good way. it feels more atmospheric and intimate, like a movie. probably because the coloring and lineart is different, more smooth and artsy, instead of rough like a kids comic. the backgrounds have more detail and the speech bubbles take up less space. composition is considered more, there seems to be standard character models, there's less narration, where there is narration, it blends into the scene. there's a standard font...

he's getting so much more open to connection with people... waow

PEAAAAAK incest is back let’s gooo. What a fucking first episode. 8bit upped their game tremendously. Better animation, better art, better direction. Not sure if it’s the same team or what, but this felt as good if not better than season 1 under madhouse. Plus LiSA back on the op 😮‍💨😮‍💨 real anime is here.

Nice mix of world building and set up for this arc, while also giving us some of that good old mahouka harem and brocon goodness that we love. The new first years seem interesting, especially this Shippou fella. That ice stare Miyuki gave him when he started disrespecting Tatsuya had me dying. Bro saw his life flash before him 😂

Always good seeing Mayumi, was worried that after she graduated we wouldn’t see her as much, but with her little sisters at school she’s still very much part of the story. She and Tatsuya always have such fun scenes full of misunderstandings and their little flirting scene at the entrance ceremony was great. Tatsuya was cooking her unintentionally lol

Her sisters are a riot too, especially izumi. She took one look at Miyuki and fell in love, don’t blame her at all. Asking Miyuki to be her big sister in front of her actual big sister is crazy though lmao

Instead I am here to introduce my future plans for my ‘Articles of Phantom theives’

Ok first things first lets lay out a timeline for this. Please take note this is not official, will be edited later in the future probably.

1. The Oak archives

- A story of Emily’s parents up until their eventual demise. Yes thats right, Emily is an orphan 😞 don’t worry she lives with her uncle now so its all handy dandy

2. Emily meeting joker for the first time and deciding to write articles about phantom theives

-AAA yesss now you know this 🫵 this story is basically my first kaitou joker post in this account is it not? Ah yes with my part two of that onw as well! My babies..I was really happy about making those.

3. Adventures with a phantom theif

-OH YEAHH I AM EXICTED FOR THIS ok so basically, since Joker is a new phantom theif in this time he might need some help in his heists (but you’ll never hear the word help from his mouth, boy cant admit it) and he thinks he should do Emily a favor since she writes articles for him..he decides he’ll take in emily as his assistant, TEMPORARILY.

-Emily, obviously tweaking in exictement is all like “REALLY? REALLY? ARE YOU SURE??” and Joker’s like “Yeah YEAH now accept it before I take it back!!” “YAYYYY”

-look fellas I even made a lil doodle of Joker and Emily on their way to their first heist together <:DD

-ok so this is a saga, three chapters, based on the manga. It won’t last lokg of course because in the end emily has to stop being joker’s assistant due some unfortunate reason…but you know that that means…
