#feeling vv weird about the fact that my uncle is dying and I don't know what to do#we've never really been close but he's my uncle you know?#we've never been close but I have a million memories of him at Christmas and in the brief time he lived near to us#and my cousins (also not close!) at facing the loss of their dad and my aunt her husband#(and i LIKE my aunt. of all the inlaws in that large family clearly the best. but I've never been close to her either)#I've cleared my schedule so I can go down and now I'm second guessing whether I should#I think I would regret not making an effort#but at the same time I don't know what I'll do when I'm there#oof
