ximena  grew  up  in  a  house  where  it  was  just  her  ,  her  father  ,  her  older  sibling  and  her  abuelita  .  her  dad  played  the  guitar  for  a  rather  well  known  band  which  meant  he  spent  a  lot  of  time  on  the  road  and  because  of  that  ,  her  abuelita  played  a  huge  part  in  raising  them  .  they  were  lucky  enough  not  to  struggle  financially  ,  her  dad’s  income  making  it  so  they  were  always  comfortable  .  and  as  much  as  she  tried  to  fight  it  ,  ximena’s  abuelita  was  paid  regularly  for  making  sure  the  kids  were  taken  care  of  .

at  first  ,  being  raised  by  a  musician  was  hard  on  ximena  .  despite  knowing  early  on  that  she  wanted  to  get  into  music  herself  ,  going  weeks  /  months  at  a  time  without  her  dad  was  something  she  always  struggled  with  .  as  a  self  proclaimed  daddy’s  girl  ,  all  she  wanted  was  for  him  to  be  home  with  the  rest  of  them  instead  of  missing  birthdays  and  holidays  and  school  events  .  it  didn’t  help  that  people  she  went  to  school  with  tried  to  make  fun  of  her  for  not  having  her  mom  around  ,  not  knowing  (  or  not  caring  )  that  she  passed  away  a  year  after  ximena  was  born  .

while  she  mostly  ignored  the  negative  things  said  to  her  ,  she  eventually  grew  fed  up  with  it  all  .  what  started  out  as  a  fight  between  her  and  one  other  person  turned  into  her  getting  expelled  and  her  older  brother  being  suspended  for  getting  in  the  middle  of  the  fight  .  her  dad  and  abuelita  were  angry  about  it  ,  but  mostly  they  were  upset  she  never  told  them  what  was  going  on  at  school  and  praised  her  for  standing  up  for  herself  (  even  if  they  swore  they  didn’t  condone  violence  )  .

she  spent  six  months  being  homeschooled  before  she  caved  and  tested  out  entirely  ,  spending  another  six  months  working  as  a  waitress  at  a  nearby  restaurant  only  to  quit  the  second  her  dad  asked  if  she  wanted  to  go  with  him  on  tour  .  she  jumped  at  the  opportunity  ,  eager  to  see what  life  was  like  on  the  road  all  while  getting  to  spend  more  time  with  him  .  when  summer  rolled  around  ,  ximena  asked  her  bestfriend  if  she  wanted  to  join  ,  knowing  the  two  of  them  would  have  the  time  of  their  lives  .

it  was  while  on  the  road  that  they  made  the  decision  to  actually  pursue  music  ,  something  the  both  of  them  had  always  enjoyed  .  having  grown  up  attached  at  the  hip  ,  the  two  felt  it  was  only  right  to  do  it  as  a  duo  .  while  they  were  already  good at  performing  (  all  thanks  to  the  multiple  performances  as  destiny’s  child  and  the  cheetah  girls  )  ,  they  spent  the  next  couple  of  years  working  on  themselves  .  from  vocals  and  harmonizing  together  to  dancing  to  writing  lyrics  and  in  ximena’s  case  ,  relearning  the  piano  and  when  they  felt  they  were  genuinely  ready  ,  they  auditioned  for  a  singing  competition  .

what  came  next  was  unexpected  but  not  necessarily  unwelcome  .  the  judges  liked  them  as  a  duo  and  while  they  considered  keeping  them  as  one  ,  they  felt  they  could  be  elevated  as  a  four  piece  girl  group  .  from  there  ,  sovereign  was  born  .  a  newfound  r&b  pop  quartet  that  drew  inspiration  from  past  girl  groups  while  still  remaining  modern  at  the  same  time  .  they  were  a  hit  in  the  competition  ,  loved  by  the  judges  and  viewers  alike  and  while  they  didn’t  end  up  winning  ,  everyone  was  sure  they’d  go  far  in  the  industry  .

the  four  of  them  became  fast  friends  ,  the  chemistry  they  shared  making  the  performance  side  of  things  easy  and  it  certainly  showed  .  they  enjoyed  being  on  stage  just  as  much  as  they  enjoyed  each  others  company  and  it  gave  them  false  hope  for  what  the  future  would  bring  them  once  the  competition  was  over  .

they  received  a  few  offers  once  the  competition  ended  but  ultimately  decided  on  revolution  records  .  things  started  off  amazing  for  all  of  them  .  their  first  album  came  before  they  could  really  even  blink  ,  a  promotional  tour  following  shortly  after  .  they  got  back  in  the  studio  when  the  tour  was  over  ,  recording  and  finalizing  an  ep  that  they  released  a  couple  months  before  opening  for  another  artist  on  a  world  tour  .  within  two  years  of  signing  their  record  deal  ,  sovereign  had  blew  up  .  they  were  a  commercial  success  ,  loved  by  the  general  public  and  garnering  new  fans  with  every  new  single  or  tv  performance  .

after  a  break  ,  their  second  full  studio  album  and  third  overall  was  underway  ,  with  a  slightly  more  mature  sound  this  time  .  it  was  around  this  time  that  things  started  getting  messy  .  little  arguments  here  and  there  between  certain  members  ,  shady  tweets  being  posted  online  ,  words  said  in  confidence  being  aired  out  for  everyone  to  see  all  while  the  group  was  mid  tour  .  a  few  weeks  before  their  tour  came  to  an  end  ,  the  quartet  came  on  stage  as  a  three  piece  .

the  three  of  them  took  a  moment  to  apologize  for  the  confusion  they’d  caused  halfway  through  the  show  ,  promising  they’d  take  the  time  to  clear  up  things  as  best  as  they  could  once  the  tour  was  over  .  they  kept  their  promise  ,  letting  everyone  know  they’d  be  continuing  as  just  the  three  of  them  from  then  on  .  they  spent  the  next  few  months  taking  a  well  deserved  break  ,  occasionally  getting  in  some  studio  time  but  mostly  just  trying  to  move  on  from  the  drama  .

halfway  through  recording  their  fourth  album  ,  ximena’s  abuelita  passed  away  unexpectedly  ,  leaving  her  more  distraught  than  she  ever  thought  possible  .  they  halted  production  ,  giving  her  time  to  grieve  with  her  family  and  when  she  felt  she  was  ready  (  sooner  than  any  of  them  really  believed  )  ,  she  flew  back  to  new  york  so  they  could  continue  .  now  the  plan  is  to  finish  the  album  and  prep  for  tour  ,  hopefully  putting  any  of  their  past  drama  to  bed  for  good  .

ximena  is  that  person  that  couldn’t  control  her  facial  expressions  if  she  tried  .  if  she’s  feeling  it  ,  it’s  written  on  her  face  .  if  she’s  thinking  it  ,  it’s  written  on  her  face  .  it  got  her  in  trouble  a  lot  as  a  kid  ,  both  with  the  adults  in  the  house  and  her  teachers  .  she’s  very  outspoken  ,  never  one  to  hold  her  tongue  no  matter  the  situation  and  she  has  no  problem  fighting  if  it  comes  down  to  it  ,  much  to  the  chagrin  of  their  manager  .  she’s  incredibly  loyal  but  she  no  longer  has  any  tolerance  for  disrespect  no  matter  who  it’s  from  and  if  you  do  something  to  betray  her  ,  she’ll  never  speak  to  you  again  .  although  she’s  definitely  known  for  her  attitude  ,  ximena  is  very  selfless  .  she  likes  catering  to  people  but  she  does  it  in  a  way  that  it’s  not  obvious  ,  doing  things  like  leaving  snacks  for  them  or  tucking  them  in  when  they  fall  asleep  .  while  she’s  never  outright  said  it  ,  she  donates  money  to  charities  quite  often  and  has  been  seen  volunteering  at  shelters  all  over  new  york  and  georgia  .

x Korra is originally from Florida. When she was 14 she found out the truth about her father, that her father is a reknown priest. Korra felt hurt that her father would not acknowledge her as his daughter and did not want to live in a lie he created. Her mother fully understood the daughter’s feelings, soon after that Korra’s mother got a promotion and was offered to move to Michigan. Both of them needed a new start and Vesta seemed perfect for that.

x She moved out of Vesta at 20 years old to study Psychology at a university in Georgia. By that time her mother, stepfather and half-sister have moved back to Florida and this was her way of keeping close to the family. While in her third year of uni Korra met Toby and fell in-love. After university they moved in together still in Georgia. Korra had big plans to go to grad school and specialize in Counseling, but love took center stage and she took a job at a local restaurant. Half a year later, Korra learnt he’d been cheating on her almost as long as they’ve been together. Still in-love she stayed with him for another few months, but after a while Korra realized best thing for them is to separate. She had decided to move back to Michigan and is working hard to save up for grad school.

uno. Su padre es un conocido productor de cine mexicano y su madre una actriz colombiana que muchos consideraban cómo la nueva sensación en el mundo de la pantalla grande. La pareja parecía sacada de una telenovela, se les veía tan alegres, llenos de amor pero algo les faltaba o bueno, mejor dicho alguien y es que luego de unos meses se reveló la noticia de que la famosa actriz Helena se encontraba esperando su primer hijo. La llegada de Salomé al mundo fue recibida con mucha emoción y amor pues era la muestra más grande de todo lo que sentía la pareja. De aquella manera fue cómo todo lo que la pequeña criatura conocido de inmediato el cariño y la protección del calor de una familia con la cual nunca le faltaría nada.

Se puede decir que Salomé tuve la clásica transformación de patito feo a bello cisne pues gracias a una dieta sana y muchas horas de ejercicio bajo de peso, aquello no solo la afectó físicamente si no que también de forma psicológica pues su autoestima creció al igual que su confianza en sí misma; eso no quiere decir que ahora sea la persona más confiada del mundo, sigue siendo muy insegura pero no es la misma niña de años atrás.

Actualmente está estudiando ciencias de la comunicación y es miembro del comité estudiantil cómo el club de cheerleading, en este último se encuentra unida no tanto por el hecho de que disfrute de ser porrista, si no porque cree que la ayudara con la aprobación social, algo con lo que muchas veces se encuentra lidiando pues siente que no encaja entre los demás.

¿Cómo era su relación con Maude?

Conocidas, aquella era la mejor manera de describir la relación que tenían ambas. Salomé envidiaba de cierta manera a Maude en secreto, le parecía que la francesa era cómo aquellas muñecas barbie que tenía de pequeña, era hermosa, delgada y agraciada muchos rasgos que Salomé nunca se daría a sí misma. Tenía curiosidad sobre cómo sería ser Maude, estar en su grupo de amigos o al menos tener una relación más amistosa. Nunca cruzaban palabras mas de lo necesario cuando debían hacer alguna tarea o alguna actividad extra, pero las pocas veces que lo hicieron no fueron encuentros amargos o dulces, sólo cruces de palabras.
