@geaesaekki sent in: “You promised to call me if you didn’t know what to wear. Come on, this will be fun.” // from Mara to Garam / more random dialogue prompts.
“I am perfectly capable of dressing myself.” They snap. Are they though? It’s not like Ga-ram hasn’t seen his fair share of black tie events. Or strip clubs for that matter. One never knows where a new connection might be found. He’s always thought what he’s always worn always suits the occasion: a button down or a turtleneck with trench coat. Formal enough to pass for any business casual events, but casual enough to disguise as a passer by simply on their way about. Old habits die hard though; the outfit feels more like armor to him at this point.
In this case though, it’s La Rose. A ladies and gentleman’s club so exclusive that not even Ga-ram's connections could give him a hint of what to expect from the inside. And in the case that he’s going to infiltrate the club as a fellow member, it’s crucial that he gets the attire down to a tea. The sheer exclusivity of the club itself already tells him that the security will be tight. And it will be scrutinizing as well.

Mara’s nonchalance isn’t helping matters here. “Be serious. If you’re going to use me as a second pair of eyes there, I need to know whether it’s better to go in as a member of the club or as service staff.” But of course she is. When it comes down to it, Detective Lim always gives her cases everything she’s got, this one more so than all the others. Her outfit for the night, Mask Girl’s full costume, is proof of that. And even if the outfit emphasizes her chest more so than anything else, Ga-ram frowns, brow scrunched in concern. Tonight is important, yes, but in his experience focusing on only results almost always leads to a disastrous ending. And however confident Detective Lim may seem on the matter, it’s his job to warn of potential pitfalls along the way.
“The former lets me have more freedom on the floor, but the latter can give me access to spaces that guests wouldn’t be privy to. Where are you looking for more information on tonight- the guests or the venue?”
