I took 5 years of Spanish and remember absolutely nothing. xD makes it worse my partners mom speaks Spanish like... 90% of the time. naww tysm for your kind words ♡ youre doing great too im sure!! i feel like for languages it depends on your motivations (intrinsic or extrinsic) in it or use it on a daily basis that itll stick w you. aaah i feel you on that part! i can only speak and understand bits of cantonese too despite living in an area where it was widely used for 4 years hhhhh and now i regret not picking it up properly when i come across canto speakers T_T i always try (note: try) to attempt to speak and understand but when i get lost i just, look at them or my friend who speaks it like a lost puppy LOL but hey it might be a good chance to get closer to your partner's mom by learning spanish from her!! theyll def be more than willing to teach you if you show sincere interest ♡

hmmm dinosaurs, i guess im okay w them? not particularly super interested, but would stop and read abt it if they look interesting LOL def not that kid who knew all the names of different dinosaurs welp. yk how some museums have dinosaur artifacts or fossils on display, like they have them assembled up so you can actually see how big they are? im that person that goes woaaah and stare for a while and hover along hhh. but but i find them cute on designs! when theyre modified into smol cute beings then yeah those are a big yes from me hahaha
