Since I'm busy working on a valentines day drawing I thought we could do something different until I'm done with that. Trivia night! I'll be writing what's basically a compilation of fun facts we've already established or haven't learned yet. We will also learn more about their backstories.

For tonight we have Silas

Silas has a mom and dad but isn't close with neither of them

As a child he was quite needy compared to other elven kids

Elves almost never stray too far away from the elven village but Silas liked to play in the depths of the forest

He learned about humans from a story book he found while playing in the forest

He was amazed by the colorful imagery and the familial relationship depicted in the book and wanted to have the same, which kickstarted his human hyperfixation

He's currently the most knowledgeable elf in humans within the village

His house is located quite far away from the village, he can still reach there by walking but it's not somewhere where the other elves can just stumble upon

He likes sweet things like fruits or honey but dislikes the taste of meat so doesn't feed it to you much as well

He, just like the other elves, while natural with most other living things, hates all demonic creatures

He's very nice and sweet with you but wouldn't glance twice at other forest creatures and is actively hostile towards demons

Of course he would never let you see him make that kind of face

He thought of using magic to make you live as long as he does but it feels like tempering with your humanity so if you die he's planning to die with you

He's actually not that good at magic compared to other elves, he just knows the basics and relies on books for the rest

He's average height for an elf

He doesn't like leaving bite marks or hickeys on your body because it feels like dirtying your perfect form

But he really likes it when you mark his skin, whether they are hickeys or wounds

While more compassionate than other elves, Silas does have a bit of a superiority complex like them

For example, unlike other elves he does see the intelligence of humans but would still say elves are smarter

He doesn't have any ill intentions with it, to him it's just like saying a unicorn is be better than a horse

He doesn't like eating carrots because he thinks they look like elf ears

He loves learning more about you but dislikes hearing about your family

He doesn't want you to have pets, only the two of you are allowed inside his house

He does have a bathroom in his house but it's just a replica of what he saw in books and isn't actually that functional

If you want to use the bathroom for your baths instead of the river like he does, he just carries the water from the river to his house then uses magic to make it rain on you like a shower head

Even if you don't allow him inside the bathroom he still watches from the window

He has a diary where he writes everything you do in a day, from what activities you did to how many times you blink on average

If you offered to live in a human city with him he would refuse, while he likes humans you are his utmost priority and it's better for you to be inside his house away from everyone's reach

Letting in censorship for something one person or group deems immoral opens the door for anyone to come in and censor EVERYTHING. This is very much one of those things where you let the shit happen to one group of others and then everyone is surprised when the next other to be dealt with is them.

Do not invite them to come take your neighbor in the morning because they WILL be back for you by the evening.

Censorship will be the death of fanfic if we let it into the space at all. Censorship tried to murder it once already before fandom really became a thing. Ask any of the long timers in any given space, the people who built the world we get to have, who fought for the freedoms we have in fandom spaces, who made such things as fandom spaces possible.

I love how OG!Locket is sulking in bed. Even when surrounded by their alternate versions, they’re still the smallest bot in the group—and they know it. That pout speaks volumes, and let’s be honest, they’re probably jealous of the attention their counterparts are receiving from Drift. Of course, they’d never admit it outright, but you can see it in the way they’re lying there, stewing in quiet indignation. Classic Dramatic Baby 1.

D!Locket, on the other hand, looks like they’re plotting world domination from under the blanket. They are probably

scheming to take out the others. Since they believe they are superior to their counterparts. And to reclaim what they see as their right, Drift’s attention and affection. Again probably not that they would admit it. Dramatic Baby 2

A!Locket, poor thing, looks utterly overwhelmed. They’re probably overthinking everything about this situation, especially when it comes to Drift. Since they chose to follow Ratchet in their own universe, they might be worried that Drift doesn’t love them anymore. And being sandwiched aside two grumpy, intimidating versions of themselves definitely isn’t helping their nerves. You can just see the anxious thought spirals: “Does drift hate me? Does Drift even want me here? What if I’m not good enough?”

Then there’s SG!Locket—poor baby finally getting the love they’ve always dreamed of. After everything they’ve endured, being able to rest in the warmth of Drift’s affection must feel like a miracle. You can almost hear their relieved, content thoughts: “He loves me back. He really loves me!” It’s such a heart-wrenching contrast to the life they’ve known, and you just know they’re holding on to every second of this rare kindness. (OG!Drift would absolutely despise his Shattered Glass counterpart, SG!Drift. It wouldn’t just be dislike—it’d be pure, murderous hatred for what that twisted version represents.)

And Drift? He’s having the absolute best moment of his life. His spark is practically glowing as he’s there, surrounded by his precious sparklet and their alternate versions. Every one of them is a piece of his family, and he loves them all dearly, no matter their quirks or histories. Drift’s thoughts are simple yet deeply heartfelt:

“They’re all so precious. I’ll stay right here and make sure they’re safe and happy. Nothing will ever hurt them while I’m around.”

I believe that if given the chance, Drift would steal all of them without hesitation.

I saw a recent ask saying that both cis and queer places are alienating and it’s so accurate, I am a trans man who passes as cis and it’s incredibly lonely. I’m stealth and I seem like a classically masculine cishet dude, but I am inherently queer, even if I’m attracted to women, I’m queer, even if I’m masculine, I’m queer, I’ll always be queer and I always have been, but there’s just no real space for me in the queer places I go.

I have experienced misogyny based on the fact I was an unfeminine and masculine teenager, in-fact I pass so well because I have a masculine face and body shape, both things that were used against me as a teen, I was called a false girl, I was labelled both a prude and a slut, the teenage boys in my school would make sexually degrading comments towards me, about my body and my sexuality, mocking my masculinity and my failed femininity. There’s a specific kind of cruelty that you face as an AFAB child and teen who fails at femininity or dips too hard into unacceptable masculinity, and no one really speaks about it, I can’t talk about this with any cishet people because they cannot relate.

Both my femininity and masculinity were used as interchangeable blades to cut me, I could perform neither to a satisfactory level and everyone could see it, simultaneously both too feminine and too masculine and yet not enough, it felt like being put through a meat grinder to try and erase me because they couldn’t stand the fact I existed. Now in queer spaces my masculinity and sexuality are derided and disliked and it doesn’t feel any different than it did as a teen being mocked for it by cis people, the only thing that’s changed is some of the reasoning and language.

My fellow transhet men say they’re “unfortunately straight” or try and apologise for being masculine or even being men and I’m tired. My masculinity and heterosexuality are seen as deviant, they ARE queer, any version of me that isn’t a cishet feminine submissive woman is deviant, I have been deviant since birth and I will not lie about society accepting me for being masculine or straight because they don’t and they never have. If I have to hide my identity to not be oppressed or attacked then it’s not acceptance or tolerance, it’s silence and erasure. I did not sit through years of being called a not real girl tranny dyke prude slut bitch for me to go into queer spaces and be told my masculinity and sexuality are shameful, I’ve already heard that a thousand times from cishet people and I don’t care.

that sucks so bad you have nowhere to go because of how hostile people can be for no reason. for as good as people can be they can be that bad. some people are just hostile and it sucks. i hate that you have to feel that way. i don't get why. you're just trying to exist and care about yourself and other people and you're just being turned away. i wish you the best of luck. i support you.

i am going to preface this right away w how disappointed i am in some of the people who follow me, who will occasionally like a post calling out misogynoir but only if its comfortable and only if its worded nicely and only if its against someone they dislike and not someone they do like. i am directly talking to my non-black followers because i do not expect black fans to expose themselves to this kind of hatred and thinly (and not so thinly) veiled racism we are faced w on a daily basis. some of you have a big following and a big portion of that following is white and YOU have the opportunity to use your POWER (and, yes, even in fandoms there are different power dynamics because logging onto twitter dot com does not remove the burden of blackness within overtly white spaces, this too is a space where having white privileges will get you places) and talk about these issues that have been becoming more and more prevalent.

our voices are not heard and when they are heard they get twisted by white and non-black fans who prioritize their love for shipping and their male centeredness over racism within fandom and more importantly: racism that is perpetuated by them. a very loud portion of this fandom has painted an image of "angry black women" without ever actually calling them black women because they are socially aware enough to know that it is racist to say so. instead they say it in different ways: they call us rabid, they call us delusional, they call us homophobic straights and love to strip us of our queerness in the same breath, they call us ableists even though this fandom has had several conversations about this, they call us aggressive, they say we are jealous of a mlm ship, they say we are irrational, they call us everything but the one thing we are: black. yet the painted picture is very clear to me and surely every other black person who has ever engaged dominantly white spaces: the big black bully! this is the easiest way to "aggressive black woman" your way through genuine critcism without ever saying it w those words nor acknowledging the thing you are criticized for.

and it becomes even more obvious when you read-over and over again-those attempts at demonizing an overtly black part of fandom (which mel/meljay fandom is and which i will come back to later) while NONE ever mention the things black people ARE saying because whenever you get ratioed for cuck art, whenever you get asked why you erase mel from the story, whenever people ask where mel is in arcane character group arts, whenever you mischaracterize mel for a mlm ship, whenever you strip her of her feelings, whenever you make her an abuser, whenever you dehuminaze her, whenever you deify her, whenever you cry that you cannot criticize her yet dont ever criticize her outside of that ship you so like, whenever any of this happens black fans HAVE and WILL tell you that this is antiblack, its misogynistic, but most of all-since a word for this phenomenon already exists-it is misogynoir. you are participating in misogynoir. your every like is supporting misogynoir. the active erasure of a black woman in fandom is misogynoir. whenever you strip black fans of their credibility to speak out against racism bc we are just "crazy shippers on an agenda", that is misogynoir too. people who arent in this fandom have been clocking this. they see us saying this. they avoid watching the show or engaging w this fandom because the misogynoir is so prevalent here and it is unchallenged by everyone but black people and a few allys who actually mean their shit when they talk about allyship.

the rest of you barely skim our texts or just go "well im not racist so this doesnt apply to me" instead of listening to us trying to explain what the issue is. you guys are so sure that you are a good ally, that you arent racist, that nothing you do is ever misogynoirist, yet you dont even realize that you dismiss or even silence black voices you dont like by villainizing every black fan who wants to talk about this and uplifting every black person who says the things you want to hear. to the point that a black user here can use the hard r and white people are trying to educate black people why that is okay or isnt okay. all while that person even apologized and had to tell you guys to not speak over black people in defense of them. do you not see that you are tokenizing the black voices you deem comfortable while ignoring every voice that asks for a little bit of accountability in your contribution to the horrid antiblackness on arcanetwt?

but, no, no, rest assured this doesnt just apply to the fans but to the character in question too after all there is a reason why meltwt/meljaytwt is so outspoken on this. it isnt about her partner being shipped w someone else, most of us dont even care for the ship, our issue is the constant attempt at erasing her from the relationship she was in and those are two completely different things even if you blatantly choose to look the other way and fabricate lies. mel medarda, despite always being spoken about as beautiful and complex and such a great character, so far even that people say they want her to leave jayce so they can have her for herself, has a very small following. she has less fics on ao3 than the others, barely any x reader ship despite so many people claiming to shipping themselves with her, she gets less solo art and even less w other people or her canonical ship. she is constantly being othered. just recently we had someone exclude her from group art and saying she was the teacher while her same aged peers were drawn as students. to many she simply doesnt exist and if you care about mel, if you actually do like her, if you seek out her content, this becomes abundantly clear real quick: mel does not exist as a main character to arcanetwt.

she is a side character to many of you. she is a side character like any other black women in fiction because you as fans were conditioned by young age to view black women as that. you are surrounded by the sassy black best friend, the angry black woman, the disposable black girlfriend who will always just be a temporary love interest, side character a and side character b - you grew up in a world where you view black women like that. that is why her fandom is so small. just like any other black female characters are small. no other main character gets this type of treatment other than her. and that her fandom is so small is just another indicator for that. and that it mostly consists of black fans is another indicator too because those very often are the only ones capable to see a black woman as a character in herself and not just a nice compliment in a sentence in between. this, too, is misogynoir btw and saying "well i just prefer this and this character" only works so many times before you gotta put the work in and question your racial bias and i am telling you YOU HAVE TO to OVERCOME that and i am telling you that because i too used to not care about black female characters.

i grew up in a very white society and was one of those kids who were trying to be as white as possible to cater to white ppl and i had to actively unlearn to ignore dark skinned women in any media and woah let me tell you once you do you realize there are so many beautiful characters to obsess over and so many new people to meet and it WILL change your view on a lot of things in fandom and it will make you AWARE and that is a good thing. you should be woke. being woke is a good thing no matter how many people say it isnt. its just nobody can do this for you but you yourself. you will see the mistreatment of fans and you will get angry about this and you will get uncomfortable too bc you might be nonblack you might even be white but that is just what it is and how its going to be and i appeal to you to be loud w us as well, to fight for a fandom space where white fans arent the only ones who get to enjoy sillies and whimsicals, where we can move and have fun w/o being confronted w unchallenged racism and people being too proud to work on their biases or even take any critcism, i beg you to not gaf about aesthetics and what you want your blog to look like and i beg you to not gaf about what your peers might think of you bc trust me you do not want to be the person belittling antiblackness for the sake of getting a few likes on an art piece where two people you like smooch.

I saw that you are/were friends with the creators of Stellar Remnants and as someone who knows one of them irl and has heard their non-stop yapping about your stuff I took it upon myself to ask what that little rat is too scared to ask!

What would the SEA Family’s reaction be to the relationships developed within Stellar Remnants?

Also, to give some relationship breakdowns that I actually do surprisingly have permission to share from CoastxlWater’s themself:

You don’t see much of the celestials in the main fic, but from my friend’s rambles about the what-ifs and oneshots series the Remnant Family do infact think about the celestials a good bit to where there are technically relationships

Eclipse hates moon basically, but a good chunk of that hate stems from fear and the knowledge of knowing Moon won’t give up. Since as we know, Eclipse was infact once Moon and so he knows how the bot would act.

Solar Flare would infact do the same thing it did to KC to Moon if it ever gets its claws on him, you don’t mess with Flare and especially not its father.

Bloodmoon wants to basically harass everyone in the celestial family. But due to Eclipse’s creative threats and tracker planted in them they haven’t tried anything yet, or atleast that is what Coastxl has told me about the upcoming prompts.

No one in the Remnants family hate Sun so to say, but no one exactly likes him. Eclipse and Bloodmoon with their distrust of the sunny animatronic and Solar Flare carries its own opinions on Sun.

Eclipse still cares about Lunar, and Bloodmoon does as well but neither would say they like Lunar, because they don’t. Surprisingly it’s Flare to have the major problem here, because from what Coastxl has told me Flare doesn’t appreciate the kids actions. Flare apparently has strong opinions on why Lunar was wrong to turn on Eclipse, especially because Moon’s own treatment of Sun. So Flare is the one who mainly dislikes Lunar.

Surprisingly no one in the family have strong opinions on Solar, and apparently one line Coastxl does have planned for a future chapter is, “Solar? I don’t care for Moon’s little lap dog, I mean yeah he helps Moon and all but they are family who usually treat each other right so it’s understandable, though Solar is a pushover. People pleaser, even.” - Eclipse

Same as Solar no one has strong opinions on Earth, they all kind of just ignore the cheerful ‘sister’ and only plan for Moon, Sun, Solar, and Lunar ever finding where they are. Or really Eclipse is the only one planning and worrying, Bloodmoon and Flare are just trying to get Eclipse to stop worrying.

One thing they all have in common though is a hatred for Monty, and yes that does include Bloodmoon. No one really likes Monty.

I think their relationships with KC are shown well enough in the making fic, Coastxl said they might try developing the hatred and fear more through more night terrors and maybe even a few complete group hallucinations, so they do have a deep fear of KC is all I’m saying.

And before you ask, “how do u know u have permission to say this if they don’t know about you having all of their socials and links to the stuff they like?” Well, they said and I quote: “hm? Oh yeah you can spoil it if you want it’s not like it’s some huge surprise or anything- oh your asking this for possible future blackmail huh? Well fuck you I could give less of a fuck about you spoiling this, HAH”

I dunno if we're on friend levels yet, though tbf I don't really do any of these online friendship things often thanks to crippling anxiety 👍

Weeeeeeeell, SEA and SR are pretty different relationshipwise, which would be a surprise to the SEA family.

Solar Flare and Eclipse wouldn't be able to imagine a father-son relationship between themselves, though Solar Flare would understand Flare's attachement to Eclipse, because it's also pretty attached to its own. Even if differently.

Killcode would be greatly saddened there's such a shitty version of himself, and he'd be torn between trying to fix their opinion of him and staying away, if only because he knows more now about trauma and those sorts of things. He too wouldn't want to see the people who caged him and his family in, so he can understand why the Remnants family would want to stay away. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be very tempted to change their opinion tho

Bloodmoon would find how Flare is so much younger an amusing difference they'd use to tease their own brothers. It's too good an opportunity to waste. They just have to do it.

Lunar would be freaked by the dislike of that Solar Flare, used to his brother being reliant, protective, quietly loving and most importantly, patient and always there. He wouldn't know what to do with a version of them that's more hostile with him.

Moon would once again be surprised while also not about just how much he sucks. He wouldn't blame the family though, because he knows he's awful. He would feel more comfortable staying away.

Sun would take one look at it and shrug. He can't do anything, it's none of his business, if those people want something they'll approach each other and work out their issues. He's more than aware family can be complicated and there can be lots of resentment and hostility and dislike, especially with everything that's going on. He also wouldn't be offended by someone looking down on him, because he's aware at first glance he really does appear pathetic.

Over all, the SEA family is surprised, sad and disappointed by the state of the Stellar Remnants dimension, but not like they can do much about it. They have to decide to change their relationships if they want to be something different. Although they'd prefer if these people didn't try murdering each other

(Also, SEA Eclipse thinks the four arms are cool and wishes he was built like that too. Everyone else is just glad the sleep-deprieved fuck doesn't have another pair of hands to overwork himself with)

I'm going to talk about my girly Vevora <3

Vevora worships within two different pantheons: Dibella from the Divines and the Three Good Daedra. Her mother was a priestess of Dibella who's order was devoted to art and passed this on to Vevora who know also venerates within several different realms of the Goddess, such as sexual instruction. She also worships the Three as she views it as a necessary aspect of Dunmer life, she grew up heavily volunteering with the New Temple in Mournhold and her father is also a bit of a resident artist there. Though within the New Temple she is a bit more interested in the Saints and while she does specific ritual prays to the Three, it's the saints she looks to for guidance a lot of the time. As a an artist and poet she is particularly drawn to Vivec. Vevora has no interest in the other Divines or Daedra, particular dislikes Sanguine.

Prior to coming to Skyrim she was involved with the use of hallucinogenics primarily as a way to tap into more creativity and gain divine insight. Aside from a few attempts at petty theft (she's not a good thief), she has not committed any crimes, though she has been in criminal circles including money laundering, blackmail, etc. She will ignore a lot of things for love </3

Crimes she actively despises are censorship, religious persecution, forgery, domestic violence and will not tolerate these. Above all else she believes that everyone should be in the pursuit of pleasure and pleasure is defined as the cultivation of all good experiences. a nice meal, good literature, sex, ingesting strange Telvanni mushrooms that make you feel like you've achieved CHIM.

15 - underlying meaning

today was a warm and sunny day. the clouds were out of sight and the sun was beating down on your skin. it felt a little too perfect. you sat on the outside tables in front of magnolia, sipping on your drink while you and collei waited for nilou and aether to return with snacks. she was wearing a pretty, white lace sundress and birch-wood cardigan over it. cute and simple, the best way to describe collei and her radiant smile. 

she raises her hand towards you, speaking to you through sign language. 'has been a long time. you and aether have been busy.'

you wave her off with your hand, a sigh coming out of your throat. “yeah, i’m sorry about that. i’ve just been caught up with so much stuff that i’ve been losing track of time. i’ve been showing up to class later than i’d like, and on some days i just end up skipping entirely.”

she gives you a reassuring smile. 'i’m not disappointed. last week i've been finishing my lab. but that sounds bad. wanna talk?'

you stare down at your drink, pondering if its worth telling collei the truth. how would she react to your interaction with alhaitham? hey my ex-boyfriend who broke up with me over text, suddenly shows up at the same cafe as aether's date. and he proposed that we work together so they can get together. god, when you say it like that, it's awful.

you lock your jaw. she’s never met him, only heard about him in passing through aether and nilou. maybe she’d give you an unbiased point of view. you know aether has a strong disliking for the silver-haired man. nilou had classes with him before, thought he was just quiet, until she heard about what he did to you. collei could give you the most unbiased opinion out of everyone.

and despite this rationality, you aren’t sure. you don’t want to worry the rest of your friends. you don’t want to bring up your love life anymore than you did in the past. you still remember the night aether called you, the way your voice cracked and trembled as you sobbed uncontrollably, and how nilou and collei stood on the sidelines, unsure of what to do. they gave you the space you needed. you just don’t know if you want to go through that heartache again. let alone put your friends through it.

your thoughts were cut short when nilou approaches the table, smiling and waving to collei. “when is the last time we met up like this?” she asks, crunching on the crisp exterior of her taiyaki. the custard filling was warm and sweet. and she was thankful to have had the day off today because she couldn’t take eating another dessert filled with extra sugary strawberry fillings. 

both of them sat down at the table and you were quick to grab your snack. aether sat beside you while collei and nilou stayed close. 

“it must be tough having to help a certain someone with his suspiciously good love life.” her eyes trailed over to aether, who was absentmindedly sipping from his straw. he was pretending to daydream in a middle of a conversation.

“are you talking to me?” he replies, jokingly rubbing the inside of his ear with his pinky. “wow isn’t this matcha the best thing ever? so good, i can’t believe i didn’t try this sooner, (name) you should totally order this instead of your jasmine milk tea 75% sugar and less ice.”

“okay, you did not have to say my entire order out loud,” you roll your eyes. your reply causes him to pinch your thigh, a yelp coming out of your mouth before you slap his hand. 

“you’re such an ass!”

collei smiles, 'aether needs help, no? two months ago, he almost dated ayaka. he's been through many relationships. what makes kaveh so different?'

aether places his head down on the cool, glass table, mumbling, “well hes the only person i didnt have to help or save, so it just feels different having someone like you without you doing shit for them… or whatever.” 

“she can’t read your lips if you put your head down,” you say, pinching his ear, “i can’t quite hear you, want to speak up big boy?”

“besides, we should be questioning you instead. you should be the embarrassed one. if i saw my ex out in the wild i would have punched him square in the face. don’t tell me you got too swept up in his pretty looks to say anything rude?”

“oh yeah? how come you didn’t do it when you saw scaramouche? that guy treated you like shit when you first met and then he cozied up to you on my couch! my couch!”

nilou lets out a long, exhausted sigh. she forgot that everytime they go out together, she should expect a bit of bickering between you and aether. and while it may annoy or confuse other people outside of your group, she and collei know how charming it can be sometimes. she hasn’t seen a pair so close before. you and aether have some sort of freakish telepathic connection that lets you know what’s wrong with each other (if only this extended to arguments, the world would be at peace).

“don’t think i didn’t hear those face-sucking noises of yours! shame! shame on you!”

you gasp, “how dare you slutshame me!” 

“fuck you i hope when you order your jasmine milk tea 75% sugar with less ice they give you more ice and more sugar!”

collei taps on the glass table with her nail, knocking you and aether out of your petty banter. 'stop fighting, especially not in public. kaveh might see!' aether looked back at you before letting out a huff. you both roll your eyes while murmuring apologies under your throats, knowing well on the car ride back it’ll continue. the effort was enough to make collei clap in glee though.

so what happened between kaveh and aether? it sounds like it went well but i need the inside scoop.

“nothing really, i don’t think you missed much collei,” returning back to the topic at hand, you stir your drink with a straw. “they had their first ‘date’ at nilou’s cafe. they probably talked about how boring aether’s outfit was because he wasn’t wearing that yellow sweater vest. things were going well until…” 

nilou nudges your elbow, “he showed up.”

'he? you mean...' collei looks up at you with concern laced in her eyes, 'he did what?'

“more like said,” aether interrupts. “did he apologize about what he did to you last year? or should i be the one to beat his ass for you?”

'no fighting!' collei waves.

“look, he didn’t say anything, really.” you force a smile. “we just talked about school. caught up a little bit and that was it. besides, as much as i want him to apologize to me, i know that won’t happen. he’s not that type of person.”

“i don’t know (name)...” nilou presses her lips in a thin line.

collei pats your hand, giving you the same warm look she always had in her eyes. 'everything will be okay. we are here, if you need. don't worry.'

aether, on the other hand, doesn’t seem quite as convinced. his eyes were laser focused on the crinkling of your nose and the distant expression you had. he’s known you long enough to tell that the absent stirring was a sign there was something more. he doesn’t want to put you on the spot with collei and nilou, but he can’t help it. he feels as if there is something on between you and alhaitham that he doesn’t know about.

and the thought makes his stomach drop. 

you continue with the conversation as normal, laughing about how aether needs your help out of everyone for love. you talk about how disappointed you were not being able to see him dress up more. nilou is still chewing on the tail of her taiyaki while collei nods to your story.

aether is biting the inside of his cheek, listening as a good friend would. he needs to stay focus on the conversation. he shouldn’t think too hard about it. if you said it was just school, then it should be left like that. there is nothing going on between you and alhaitham.

- His real name is Tramilton Lougferd

- Presumably captured by Aeon (Bizly said 'she' for the person who captured Troy), who forces him to stay with Blink

- How does Aeon know his real name?

- There are theories that he's clockwork, just like the soldiers

- If he fails to stay with Blink, he can't go home

- Perhaps that's why he clings to Blink's side, out of fear of what will happen to him if he fails

- He doesn't have a good relationship with his father

- Troy has committed war crimes??

- He has ulterior motives

- Dislikes snakes

- I feel like he knows more than he's letting on

- She has cousins in the Street Rats, Doppler, and Pinch (he's the leader, I think)

- She lives with her Uncle Threestrings, and her grandmother works at the apothecary

- Due to her failing the mission, she is kicked out of the Street Rats and is no longer allowed to visit their headquarters

- Doppler gets captured when they go up to the surface and disappears

- Troy tells her that the clockwork soldiers just throw stuff back into the hole, so why hasn't Doppler turned up?

- She found a purple crystal known as Wonder Coal while she was on the surface

- Distrusting of Troy after finding out both he and Blink lied about who he truly is (specifically, that he's not Yort or from Reclaim/Cogtopolis)

- Claims to be Is the smartest girl in the city

- Scared of Troy because of his actions and how he's constantly putting everyone in danger

- Hates being called little or anything to do with the fact that she's different

- Needs a doctor (will be discussed in a later episode)

- Her leg braces help her walk, run, and jump better

- She coughed up blood at the end of episode 10 (holy shit, don't kill my gal, I will begin sobbing)

- Lives a life of struggle (evidently, he doesn't even have a house, and Graphite lets him spend nights at his place)

- He's very willing to help people out, no matter what (Granny Granite, Troy, etc.)

- Very paranoid and cautious all the time, probably because of the Vixens

- Knows of and (probably) works for The Inventor, but has no knowledge about him

- At risk for a heart attack because of his device and from getting electrocuted

- In a situationship with the Overseer?? Maybe?

- He doesn't have a thing for feet (as Condi said so aggressively lmao)

- Bro is fucking done with Troy (based lol)

- Medusa gave him the confidence to stand up to Troy

- She trained his ass to beat Troy's ass, awesome

- They're besties now, I love that (they do be shit talking Troy)

WD (She/Her)

- She is a fox-hybrid played by Milo :0

- She lives in Cogtopolis and is working on a way out by getting rid of the cave-in

- Friends with a koala hybrid named Carpet

- She's old friends with Ripley, but they got separated because of the cave-in

- She called Ripley really pretty, so I have a feeling that they might be gay :3

- Knows her way around Cogtopolis pretty easily and knows a lot of people

- She works for The Inventor in his secondary lab in Cogtopolis

- A lot of her tools were made by Ripley (we love lesbians)

- She definitely seems to have feelings for Ripley (yippee, lesbians!)

- She hasn't seen Ripley for a while and is desperate to get out of Cogtopolis and find her

- Clockwork soldiers are patrolling more frequently and can now speak

- The Inventor is missing after using the teleporter

- There's a chance that since the Wonderous Coal powers everything in Wonder and Reclaim, the forest on the first tier of the Mountain is magical from the coal's properties

- The Mountain has 4 tiers, each different from each other. The first tier is a warm, forest area that gave the group 1d10 temporary hit points

- The Wonderous Coal isn't natural, it just appeared out of nowhere. When it originally showed up, no one knew what to do with it

- The forest has vague remnants of a place called Farindell (probably spelled that wrong lmao). None of the party has heard of that place

i really dislike that the feather didnt pop out of the rings. cause.. lets get first defence out of the way: this is not the Crocoduel thing. If it was the Crocoduel thing then breaking it wouldnt have released the butterfly either. So that isnt what's happening. so that leaves 3 options: 1-Animation error (big fucky-wucky. Theoretically possible but that's a critical failure) 2-Adrien somehow isnt a senti/it isnt in the rings. (outright cheats the audience out of 5 seasons of build-up) 3-They just did a fucking stupid-ass "timetravel heist" like Felix with the dog and Marinette stealing Tiki from her past self in the London Special, and they're gonna reveal that in the season finale where they steal it... And if its 3... goddamn there's 2 sub-classes. 3a:They stole it when the rings went missing in this episode. Now technically there is a moment where Plagg vanishes in the kitchen so he could be an accomplice, but i dont see how you sneak a fake replacement ring into a locked room with 4 completely attentive granparents. So i think that's some bullshit. Like making the ring vanish isnt the problem here (just ask Flairmiddable). Its getting the fake underneath Millies plate... wait that isnt a problem either is it. At no point until she looks for it does the plate move. The timetraveler could Fetch-touch the ring at any point in time before it goes missing, plant the fake while everyone is outside greeting the grannies, and Fetch it while they're figthing... 3b: The show reveals that actually, Adrien has never truly received a Ring-based order. All his Gabriel obedience is entirely abuse-based and not mind-controll based. They stole Emilies ring from before Gabriel pulled it off her corpse, and they stole Gabriel's ring from Felix in a different point in the past. I dont like any of these options (cause its either a plothole, or the show becoming even more over-reliant on timetravel trickery). But looking at the currently available i guess that 3a is the least terrible?

So many straight ship enjoyers have a weird victim complex abt ppl disliking their ships. They jump to “you only hate it because it’s straight” with little to no awareness of how the outside world works. It makes me a little concerned for their intelligence. I know gay shippers also throw around the “you hate it because it’s gay” accusation a lot but at least that comes from a place of realism. Homophobia is rampant even in a lot of seemingly progressive internet spaces, so it makes sense that people would assume that’s the reason for people getting a little too aggressive against queer ships. But heterophobia isn’t real, even if some queer people do hate straights that’s a personal issue, not a societal one

Straight people are in everything, literally everything. Even a lot of queer media includes some trace of heterosexuality. That coupled with the real life homophobia queer people face, it makes sense that a lot of us don’t have much interest in seeing MORE straight ppl in our fan content. It baffles me that many queer fans can’t seem to wrap their heads around this concept??? Are ya’ll trying to make yourselves look like one of the “good” ones or smth???

I think this is also an easy way for people to write off different opinions. “You don’t actually have an interesting critique, you’re just gay” or smth like that. They also always end up turning it into some subtly homophobic rhetoric about how “not everything has to be gay” and “stop trying to make that character a lesbian.” It’s always the evil gay agenda at hand. Have you ever considered maybe your ship sucks ass and not everyone has to like it??? Just a thought

And I want to clarify that I do enjoy a lot of straight ships. But when I see fellow queer fans uninterested in those pairings or preferring to ship same sex couples instead, I mind my own damn business and let them think differently. I don’t clutch my pearls and accuse them of only hating the ship because it’s straight, because so what if they do?? That is not hurting anybody. More likely than not, that person is just sick of people irl trying to make them feel abnormal for their sexuality, and they want to focus on the pairings that provide them with an escape from that. That issue is far more important ham the imaginary fear that straight people might become oppressed

I keep seeing people critiquing the finale and campaign three as a whole and while I see a lot of points and they're mostly valid, it upsets me because at the end of the day we had an amazing story in a rich world and a lot of emotional investment (and I get that's why everyone cares!!) and I'm personally very happy with how it ended.

I should specify that the negativity upsets me because from posts I've seen they've been very overall negative and talking about it as if it all was awful and it wasn't!! Cuz let's be honest, if it truly was awful, they would've stopped watching at some point - at least I would have, if I'm not enjoying something why would I watch it lol that doesn't make sense.

I've been in a place where a piece of media ended and even though I loved it most of the way through, when it ended I also had a knee jerk reaction of critiquing everything and I lost sight of what I DID enjoy about it and it tainted the whole experience. If you didn't like it, that's fine, whatever. Valid points have been made that I agree with! But overall I fucking love this franchise and honestly, if given the chance to change anything in c3? I wouldn't. Not a single thing :)

Also, those mistakes and those things that "could have gone differently" are just the result of humans being humans, people being people, and isn't that the whole point of these kinds of stories? They're flawed, they're imperfect, on both an in-game and over-table level, and that is beautiful.

I wanna focus more on what we loved about the campaign than what we disliked, because I don't think as many people are talking about that ^^

So what's your favorite moment of Campaign 3? For me, I loved the big moments of course but a little thing that always pops into my head was during the split, the absolute chaos of Deanna and her goat 💀💀

Hiccup was a runt, the most awkward, frailest guy around. He was created with the intent of being someone who's different from everyone else; both in his design and story. Someone who's weak around people who value strenght, someone who befriends dragons while others want to kill them. Hiccup makes up for his physical weakness with compassion and trying to bring peace to both sides.

Which is why in his every iteration after the first movie (+ ROB); Hiccup is a 6'1, modern beauty standart who can easily beat everyone in combat no matter how more build or/and experienced they are, unless the writers decide they need to higher the stakes, or they have other characters fight the enemy for him.

Now that you mention it, you're right that love languages can be problematic in both origins and application. I know someone that had tried to use the love language of physical touch as an excuse for his entitlement to sex in his relationship. I tried to explain to him that physical touch is not just sexual, it's also holding hands, cuddling, and the like. Unfortunately, I was unable to help him understand that.

Personally, I experienced parentification, having to cook and clean and take care of my brother who has a physical disability. Because I was forced into this role, I don't enjoy doing acts of service as an expression of my love; it's labor. However, I appreciate it when my partner shows their love for me through acts of service. LOL it really revs up my engine if you catch my drift.

But that's only an example of my personal experience, I'm NOT trying to sound akin to "I'm right, you're wrong because me me me" sort of argument. My experience may not be universal to others and that's okay.

If I had to assign Katara a primary love language, I think it would be words of affirmation. And you're right, all 5 love languages are needed by everyone depending on the situation. Though I think that everyone ranks them differently in regards to how important they are to themselves.

I appreciate your insight into emotional labor as well. One person is doing the brunt of the emotional labor while the other gets to snog- that's an apt description of what is happening. The dynamic is unbalanced. And the fact that they have a trauma bond and Zuko has learned that love is transactional- you have a keen eye!

You mentioned how The Boiling Rock was Mai's stakes being challenged and the choices were either let Zuko go or watch him die. So very insightful!! Thank you very much for pointing that out.

Yes, in the show, the writers of the final episode (Bryke) backpedalled on Mai's act of letting go of Zuko. I disliked the ultimatum. It was played off for jokes but it's problematic as it is. You're right that she didn't learn what it really means to love someone and it's sad to see that happen.

In my Book 4 fix-it fanfic, my prologue will explain which scenes would be redacted or edited from the show. I was thinking of either redacting the Maiko scene altogether or editing the scene to be a Zutara cliffhanger for the end of Book 3.

My take on Maiko

Now this isn't meant to be a bash against Mai. I wanted to point out the hot and cold emotional rollercoaster that is Mai and Zuko's relationship. I believe they are not romantically compatible but it isn't any one person's fault.

They have different love languages and different relationship wants and needs. They also have opposing political views.

Zuko's experiences have changed him, what with being banished and life as a fugitive. He is no longer the boy Mai had a childhood crush on. People grow and change and so do too our interpersonal relationships.

Despite everything, they still care for each other. Keep in mind that caring for someone can be platonic or familial as well, not just romantic.

Simply put, they are not a good match for each other.
