went to an online info session on disability tax credits and feel even more hopeless and discouraged than before so that was fun 🙃
#the person giving the presentation didn't know shit about shit and was just essentially reading off the website like whyyyyy#I would be ashamed to show up and present myself as an expert on something I had so little clue about#and she works for the cra like 💀#but I did learn some GREAT facts like that the criteria to qualify are bizarrely specific#and that you need to be affected by your problem 90% of the time which is such an insanely high benchmark#everyone knows you're not really disabled if you only experience disablign symptoms 80% of the time duh#anyway it sucks when you're trying to be responsible and gain knowledge about something important even tho it's stressful#and the knowledge turns out to be 'go fuck yourself'#one bright spot is the person from the community organization that hosted the event sent me a kind followup email with more information#me posting
