Today we had a meeting at work about our insurance and benefits and I had my phone in my pocket, as one does most of the time. Now I'm at home just watching YouTube. I just got a government insurance ad randomly. I have never gotten that ad or any ad like it before. I'm 100% convinced that my phone was listening during the insurance meeting but the fact that it's specifically GOVERNMENT insurance that was advertised to me... I truly believe we live in a surveillance state and that the government at large is trying to gain 100% control over every aspect of our lives. Maybe we should bring back flip phones, but not ones that are new made now; like we should just dig up old flip phones and use those. Idk.
